It was the day after the training operation, and Rumi was in the process of listening to a police scanner as Izuku picked Uraraka up from UA. Dressed in her usual hero outfit, Rumi frowned as she heard a call for help get broadcasted by one of the large banks in the city. Apparently four individuals had stormed the bank and incapacitated the guards while one of the bank employee's activated the alarm. Unlike most criminals Rumi had encountered in the past, the four bank robbers seemed to be unconcerned by the alarm and had proceeded to ransack the bank while civilians fled the building.

"Either these guys are stupidly overconfident, or they have done this kind of thing before." Rumi thought to herself. "Most likely these are escaped convicts, which means they intend to fight their way out based on their actions."

Activating her earpiece, Rumi launched herself from her penthouse deck and began to make her way to the bank.

"Izuku, you pick Uravity up yet?" Rumi asked as she bounded from rooftop to rooftop.

"I just did." Izuku responded through Rumi's earpiece. "I saw the alert for the bank robbery, is that where we are going?"

"Yup." Rumi said cockily. "I will meet you there."

A few minutes later, Rumi landed on the main street in front of the bank. The entire street had been blocked off by the police, and two helicopters circled the massive bank building. One of the helicopters belonging to a mainstream news network, and the other belonging to the police.

Looking around, Rumi spotted a grizzled cop barking orders into his two-way radio and quickly made her way over. Lightly poking the police officer's arm, Rumi nodded towards the bank as she spoke.

"What is the situation?" She asked bluntly.

If the officer was surprised by Rumi's sudden appearance, he did not show it. Putting his radio down, the older officer sighed wearily.

"We are running the ID's of the suspects, but the way they are going about things I would bet my house they have done this before." The cop huffed. "Thankfully they don't seem to be concerned about taking any hostages. Looks like they were aiming to do a simple smash-and-grab, but it seems they are having trouble opening the vault."

Nodding in understanding, Rumi saw Izuku's sedan pull up and raised her arm to get her partner's attention.

"Can you tell me anything about the perps?" Rumi asked as she examined the bank's destroyed front entrance. "They using quirks or guns?"

"Quirks." The officer immediately responded. "All four seem to have animal type quirks. The leader looks kinda like a human with lion features, and the other three look like a rhino, tiger, and crocodile. The way they busted through the front of the bank, all of them seem to have enhanced strength and durability. Besides claws and teeth they were unarmed. If you are gonna apprehend them it will probably turn into a slugging match."

Grinning at the prospect of a good old fashioned brawl, Rumi looked over at Izuku who had jogged over with Uraraka in tow.

"You get that Midoriya?" She asked. "I can easily take them all at once, but when I get in there they are probably gonna split up."

Nodding in agreement, Izuku pointed towards the far side of the bank. "Hawks and his intern are on their way. They can cover the south side of the bank while you can go for the leader. Let's have the police put all their heavy hitters on the west side, while Uravity and I will take the east. You go straight through the front, and if any of them try to run we can cut them off."

Thankful for Izuku's tactical assistance, Rumi turned back to face the veteran officer.

"You get all that?" She asked bluntly.

Luckily, it seemed the officer did not mind taking instructions from Izuku.

"You got it Miruko." The officer replied curtly. "Give me three minutes to get everyone in place. Then you can go in and kick their asses."

Giving the senior officer a hearty slap on the back, Rumi turned to face Izuku.

"Alright Midoriya, looks like we are going with your plan." Rumi said with a proud smile. "If you end up facing off against one of them, try not to hospitalize them."

"No promises." Izuku said with a smirk on his face. Looking over at Uraraka next to him, Izuku nodded his head towards the east side of the bank. "Alright Uravity, lets go."

As everyone left to get ready, Rumi took the opportunity to do some light stretching. It was nice to get back to some classic pro-hero work. Not that fighting the PLF was boring. For Rumi, she just liked it when the situation was simple. Go in, kick ass, and leave. With the PLF there was always so much extra shit going on, whether that be hostages or weird people who seemed to be playing both sides.

"Everyone is ready Miruko." The police officer said over his radio.

Looking around, Rumi was surprised to see a large crowd excitedly watching from behind the police barriers. Giving the spectators a wave that was met with a chorus of cheers, Rumi confidently walked towards the bank.

Walking through the gaping hole that used to be the bank's front entrance, Rumi looked around at the trashed lobby. ATMs and other machines that carried cash had been ripped out of the floor and torn apart, while any cameras had been reduced to pieces of wiring and plastic.

It was easy for Rumi to figure out where the bank robbers were, all she had to do was follow the sound of four voices arguing with each other.

"The fuck is taking so long!?" One voice growled angrily.

"Shaddup!" Barked another voice. "They musta made these vault doors tougher than they used tah be. I don't remember them being this hard to open."

"Idiots!" Hissed a third voice. "We should have been out of here before the cops even showed up. I say we leave the vault and split while we have the chance!"

"No way!" A fourth voice yelled in frustration. "I ain't leavin without a bag full of money! As long as the pro-heroes we go up against ain't in the top five the odds are in our favor!"

Walking around a corner, Rumi was met with the sight of four burly giants crowded around the bank's thick vault door.

A sneer on her face, Rumi called out to the oblivious bank robbers. "What was that about the top five?"

Immediately, the hulking monster-like individuals spun around in surprise. The police officer had been correct in the description of the criminals. They were all men around eight feet tall with enough muscle on their bodies to make a bodybuilder blush. They all had humanoid faces, but with enough animal features that it was easy to tell them all apart.

"Fuck!" The man with hair like a lion's mane shouted in frustration. "Look at what you dumbasses did! You just had to say some stupid shit to jinx us!"

As the four convicts bickered with each other, Rumi rolled her eyes and sighed in annoyance.

"Hey dipshits." She called out condescendingly. "Let's get this over with already. I would give you a chance to turn yourselves in, but we all know that is never going to happen. So stop arguing with each other and square up!"

Taking the chance to escape, the crocodile man pushed the rhino over and sprinted towards an exit.

"Every man for himself!" The scaly criminal yelled as he barrelled through a set of reinforced security doors.

Immediately the three other convicts scrambled to escape, each going a different direction just as Izuku had predicted.

Activating her earpiece, Rumi chased after the lion man that seemed to be the toughest and biggest of the group.

"Everyone get ready." Rumi said loudly as she ran. "Midoriya was right, they split up. I am going after the leader."

Not bothering to listen to the replies, Rumi focused all of her attention on catching up to her target. Rounding a corner, Rumi spotted the hulking convict running as fast as he could towards a bank of elevators.

"Oh no you dont!" Rumi snarled. Spotting a heavy metal safe the size of a refrigerator, Rumi ran over and kicked the safe like a professional soccer player scoring the game winning goal. The improvised projectile was sent rocketing straight into the back of the convict, the impact sending the brute sprawling as well as making his bag of loose bills explode like a cloud of monetary confetti.

Growling angrily, the convict got to his feet and turned to face Rumi.

"Fucking bitch!" The furry man yelled angrily. "I am gonna skin you and use your ears as toilet paper!"

A cocky grin on her face, Rumi advanced towards her prey with fire in her eyes.

"Dont make me laugh fatass." She jeered. "Only thing that is going to happen is you going back to jail."

Rumi could see a vein bulge on the convicts forehead as he roared like a furry berserker.

"I AM NOT FAT! I AM JUST BIG BONED!"

Rumi would have replied with another witty comeback, but it seemed like the convict was done talking. Charging towards the rabbit hero with his clawed hands at the ready, the bank robber swung wildly in an attempt to decapitate Rumi. Dodging the attack with ease, Rumi delivered a spinning kick into her opponent's ribs that made the brute let out a pained wheeze. As the clawed man frantically swung wild haymakers at Rumi, the white-haired hero ducked and dodged like a seasoned boxer before jumping up so she was directly over her opponent.

Readying her leg like a guillotine about to fall, Rumi aimed carefully before bringing it down with the force of a speeding train.

"LUNA FALL!"

Her foot connecting directly with the convict's cranium, Rumi grinned as the impact drove the convict straight into the ground. Upon impact, the floor buckled and split apart, forming a crater like a meteor had just landed from the outer reaches of space.

Landing lightly on her feet, Rumi clicked her tongue in disappointment as she looked down at the incapacitated convict in front of her.

"Really? That's it?" She said in disappointment. "Fuckin all bark and no bite."

Looking around at the trashed bank interior, Rumi activated her earpiece and radioed her intern.

"Uravity! You guys have things handled?" She asked as she walked.

There was a pause before Uraraka responded in a shaky voice.

"Yep." She squeaked. "Umm, Agent Midoriya handled it."

Rumi frowned, something was off.

"Nobody is hurt?" Rumi asked as she walked towards the east side of the bank.

"Umm...the rhino guy is hurt pretty bad." Uraraka whispered fearfully. "I thought you said Agent Midoriya was a nice guy?"

Rolling her eyes and huffing in annoyance, Rumi found an exit and emerged out into the east side plaza.

Immediately, Rumi could see why her intern had been so terrified. The rhino convict lay unmoving on the ground, one of his eyeballs rolling around nearby in the wind and his teeth scattered around him in small broken pieces. Sitting on top of the convict like a trophy hunter that had just bagged it's prey, Izuku gave Rumi a friendly wave as he wiped his bloody combat knife across the convict's shirt.

The nearby crowd of onlookers were all whispering to each other in disbelief, while the patrolling police officers avoided looking directly at the oblivious Izuku. High overhead, the news helicopter hovered in place. Its camera obviously pointed at the victorious field agent.

Noticing Rumi, Izuku gave her a friendly wave. "Hey Miruko, I assume you won?"

Frowning, Rumi walked over and pointed at the unmoving criminal beneath her partner. "Midoriya, what the fuck did you do?"

Shrugging, Izuku idle balanced his knife on one finger as he hopped off the unconscious criminal. "What? I took him down. He is still alive if that is what you are worried about."

Slapping her metal palm against her face, Rumi sighed like a teacher reprimanding a boisterous kindergartener. "Iz-...Midoriya. You can't just mutilate criminals in broad daylight. I get that you don't exactly fight like everyone else, but please keep the bloodshed to a minimum."

Putting his knife away in his suit jacket, Izuku crossed his arms defiantly. "So I am supposed to handicap myself just so that people who are watching don't feel uncomfortable? How is what I did any different to what you pro-heroes do on a daily basis? You guys literally beat criminals to the point where they can't move. I bet if we looked at the medical records, at least half of the criminals you have sent to the hospital end up with permanent injuries or brain damage."

Rumi was about to respond with a sarcastic comment, but was interrupted by the arrival of Hawks and his intern.

"Hey guys, good…" Hawks trailed off awkwardly as he finally saw the result of Izuku's fight. "...job...um...is that guy alive?"

"Yes he is alive." Izuku said with obvious annoyance. "Jesus Christ you guys act like you have never seen this kind of stuff before."

Surprisingly, Hawks' intern chimed in with unease in his voice. "Well most of the time, this kind of stuff is only done by criminals and psychopaths."

Immediately shoving his intern away, Hawks laughed awkwardly. "Don't mind him Midoriya. He still has a lot to learn. I think we are just surprised by how...effective..you are."

Shrugging, Izuku watched an ambulance pull up and a pair of paramedics jump out with medical supplies at the ready.

"I don't really care what anyone thinks about the way I fight." The green-haired agent said bluntly. "I get the job done, that is all that matters."

As Uraraka and Hawks' intern whispered to each other, Izuku's cellphone began to ring loudly in his pocket. Retrieving the device, Izuku examined the caller ID and then answered

"Hello sir." Izuku said respectfully. "What do you need?"

Rumi could have listened in if she wanted, but she knew that Izuku would never lie to her, so she simply waited as her partner listened to the person on his phone.

After a few grunts and nods, Izuku ended the call and looked at Rumi.

"We have a situation developing that I need to defuse." The handsome field agent said with a hint of anger in his voice.

Arching an eyebrow curiously, Rumi motioned for Uraraka to come over and get ready to leave.

"How bad is it?" Rumi asked.

Sighing, Izuku put his cell phone away and pulled out his car keys. "Seems like Oscar is up to something, and we need to intervene before someone starts throwing punches."

Her face immediately darkening, Rumi cracked her knuckles as she spoke. "Fucker probably deserves it, but I guess we can't let him have an excuse to start something."

"Who are you talking about?" Uraraka asked inquisitively.

Rumi paused, unsure of just how much information she was allowed to reveal about Izuku's sinister former co-worker.

"A guy I used to work with." Izuku spat venomously. "He is a monster in every sense of the word. Trust me, you don't want to get involved with him."

Leaving Hawks and his intern to deal with the cleanup of the bank robbery, Rumi got into Izuku's car along with Uraraka sitting in the back.

As he started the car, Izuku spoke to his two passengers in a cold voice.

"When we get there, let me do all the talking."
