Edward:
Things have been going good these past three weeks. Bella and I have been having fun decorating the house. The first thing that was almost completely done was the nursery. The guys helped me put together the cribs much to Bella's enjoyment. She sat in one of the rocking chairs that Renee got watching Emmett try to read the instructions. He was so dumbfounded with them that Bella bursted out a loud laugh, called him a doofus, and demanded the manual. She then proceeded to instruct us on how to assemble the cribs. The dressers were delivered and matched the colors of the cribs. Bella, while sitting in the wheelchair, put all the clothing into them. I hung some other clothing in the closet. Thanks to our moms, all the clothing and bedding were washed, dried, and folded. We had also received the changing tables that matched the cribs which we assembled as well.
Alice and Rose came over and per Bella's instructions, organized the changing tables while Bella held Sophie. We hung the artwork on the walls. Next came the stroller which was a double stroller. The car seats were ready and sitting by the door. I have to say, I had a great time working on this room.
We were all down stairs in the kitchen eating pizza that we ordered when the doorbell rang. It was the living room furniture so I instructed them where we wanted everything. I walked back into the kitchen enjoying the laughter that I heard when Bella made a gasping noise and sounded like she had peed herself. We all came to a stop.
"Angel?" I asked moving to her side and kneeled next to her. "Are you okay?"
She shook her head, grabbing my hand and squeezing the shit out of it. "No. I think my water just broke. It's too early. I'm only thirty weeks." She started to panic.
"Stay calm. We will get you to the hospital right now. Emmett, can you start the car and call Sam?" Rose said as she grabbed Sophie and their stuff. "Alice, call your parents. Jazz, call our parents. Remain calm everyone. You freak out and it will freak Bella out."
"Edward, it's too soon."Bella whined while taking deep breaths.
I hugged her. "I know. We will have to see what the doctor says before we freak out, okay Angel?" I whispered to her.
I was really trying not to panic but inside, inside I was flipping the fuck out. One side of my brain said that it was too early while the other side said that the doctor did tell us that twins sometimes don't make it to full term and the survival rate is high but I didn't need to voice that to Bella right now.
Rose and Alice helped Bella clean up and change her pants before we left. It was chilling outside today. Once Emmett had Sophie's set connected to the base, I lifted Bella into the car. Jasper and I barely had our doors shut before Emmett took off down our driveway and through the gate.
We meant the family as Emmett pulled up to the emergency room entrance. Jasper ran and grabbed a wheelchair as I pulled Bella out of the front seat where she was grinding her teeth. I wheeled her in and told the recipentist that she was in labor with twins. We went through the whole speech as she led us to a set of elevators and up to labor and delivery. Our doctor meant us as we got off the elevator.
"Ms. Swan, how far apart are your contractions?" He asked.
"Two minutes." She rushed out as she hunched over and grabbed the arms of the chair.
He called a nurse over who took us to a room and I helped Bella get into a gown and onto the bed. The nurse connected Bella to a machine where we could hear the babies heartbeats and monitor Bella's contractions. They wheeled in an ultrasound machine to check them because one of the babies heartbeats was too low.
Of course this caused Bella to panic again.
After checking Bella, the doctor found that she was not dilated even though she was in active labor. The word c-section was brought up and a nurse handed me scrubs. They prepped Bella for surgery while I changed. I gave a nurse permission to tell our family what was going on.
Once in the operating room, the nurses prepared Bella for surgery. A blue drape was put in front of Bella so she couldn't see what was happening but I could. I held her hand and whispered words of comfort and love to her.
I watched as the doctor cut into her stomach. It was a gross sight until I saw a head peeking out followed by a body. The most beautiful sound echoed in the room as the doctor announced a baby boy.
"It's Luca, Angel. Do you hear that?" I kissed her.
It was hard to keep an eye on him while another doctor checked him over because I didn't want to miss Aurora being born. I managed to tear my eyes away from him and back to Bella's stomach where the doctor was now being extra careful. I could see her head peeking out but what disturbed me was that the doctor looked to be cutting her. A nurse informed me that her cord was wrapped around her neck. Once she was free of it, the doctor pulled her the rest of the way out but she didn't cry.
She was blue.
No. No. No. Please god no.
I looked at Bella and I knew she saw my expression. She started to cry harder.
What could I possibly say to her that could comfort her? We lost one child and now another.
"Angel, the doctors are working on her now. She will be okay."
She shook her head. "You don't know that."
I kissed her forehead. "Faith baby."
I whipped my head around at another beautiful sound in the world etched throughout the room.
Thank fuck.
I looked at Bella and smiled. "Aurora."
We weren't able to hold them right away because they had to be taken to the NICU but the nurses did bring them over for Bella to see. I was able to take a picture of them to show to the family. Bella told me to go tell everyone while they continued to work on her. She said she would meet me in recovery. I kissed the hell out of her and told her that I loved her before I left.
The waiting room looks the same as it did when Sophie was born except Leo was running in circles around Sophie's car seat. He didn't understand that she couldn't play yet.
"Edward?" I heard Jasper say.
Everyone looked up and rushed to me. Questions were fired at me.
"How is Bella?"
"How are the babies?"
"What happened?"
"Why are you in scrubs?"
"I think he's in shock."
I heard my mom give a small laugh. "Give the man room to breathe. Now Edward, what's going on?"
I couldn't do anything but smile.
"Oh boy. I think they gave him something to make him loopy." Emmett laughed which earned him a small slap to his head from Rose.
"Idiot."
"They had to do an emergency c-section because Aurora's heartbeat was low. They were stitching Bella up when she told me to come tell you all that we are proud parents of baby Luca and baby Aurora. Aurora scared us there for a minute because the cord was wrapped around her neck and she was blue. Like really blue but they helped her and she is better. They took them to the NICU since they are early and tiny. I don't know their measurements yet." I rushed out.
Cheers and congratulations were passed out and I felt so much pride and love from this group of people. I never thought in a million years that I would have such an amazing family.
Sam shocked me when he handed me two gift bags, one pink and one blue. "Open them with Bella."
"Thanks Sam." I said as I hugged him. He was another brother to me even if we came from different families.
I was directed back to Bella's room and found her asleep. She definitely needed her rest. These last few months really took a toll on her. I left a note saying I would be back.
I went back to the waiting room and asked our parents to join me for a few minutes. I led them to the NICU and we stood at the windows. A nurse came out to me and placed two bracelets on my wrist. They matched Bella's and the twins. I could only bring two people with me at a time. I took our moms.
Luca and Aurora were in incubators. They had tubes connected to them that I was informed were a feeding tube and oxygen. They were beautiful to me. My heart swelled with the amount of love I had for them. I couldn't wait to bring Bella in to see them. We took more pictures. I brought our dads in next and it was the same.

Bella slept for six hours. She needed it. I kept myself occupied by watching television and staring at the babies pictures. Nurses would come in and check on Bella and I would tell them that I would let them know when she wakes up.
"What's got you smiling so big?"
I looked over and saw that Bella was finally awake. "Hey Angel. How do you feel?"
"Okay. A little sore. Can you help me sit up a little?"
I gladly helped her and then showed her my phone where she got to see them. Tears fell from her eyes. I wiped them away and I kissed her forehead. "They are doing good. Better than expected. Thank you."
She looked up at me confused. "Why are you thanking me?"
I smiled at her and I gently sat next to her. "I'm thanking you for two beautiful babies. For loving me for me. For always having my back. For putting up with me and for deciding to be with me. You are beautiful, smart, funny, compassionate, and a kick ass shot. You taught me patience. You taught me what it meant to be a real man and not just a biker. I love you Isabella Marie Swan. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Bella:
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Did he? Yes, he did.
I looked up at him smiling down at me. I watched as he pulled something from his pocket. He held it up. I looked down to see this beautiful ring. It's white gold and shaped like a crown. It was perfect.
I smiled up at him and said, "Yes."
His smile was blinding. "Yeah?"
"A million times yes." I laughed as his lips crushed mine.

It's been a month since the twins were born. I healed for the most part. It's still tender when I do certain things, like climb the stairs but I've learned to take my time. Lucky for me, the washer and dryer are located on the second floor, not that I'm allowed to do laundry right now. Thankfully our moms come over and help with whatever I can't do. Also Rose and Alice have been over almost everyday as they are helping plan our wedding.
Today is a special day. Yup, that's right. My little man is being freed from the hospital today. He weighed four pounds, eight ounces at birth. He now weighs in at six pounds, three ounces and has been on breast milk for the last week which is great. Hopefully I can pop him on my boobs once he's home. I've been pumping and pumping. Freeze some and take the rest to the hospital. I've donated about half of it to the hospital.
"Hello. Hello. Hello." I heard Alice and Leo as they entered the house.
I walked to the foyer. "How's my little Leo man?' I asked him as I left a kiss on his cheek.
"Bwlla." He laughed reaching for me.
I didn't want to hurt his feelings but I still couldn't hold him. "Sorry little dude, but Titi still can't carry you but you can sit on my lap later. Okay?"
He looked sad for a second before he said, "Yeah." He then ran off to his toy box in the living room.
"Boys." Alice and I mumbled together before laughing. I had to hold my stomach still when I laughed or burped.
"Edward here?" She asked.
I nodded. "He's in the office. He's still unpacking it." I laughed.
She looked shocked. "Seriously? We could have had that done already."
I shrugged. "You know your brother. Everything has to be placed in the perfect position."
She pulled down the bags she was carrying by the stairs and headed to the office.
I went back into the kitchen to put the final touches on the food I made. I made some Italian traditional foods. My mom was making others. Esme and Alice were taking care of the Irish dishes. I hid the deviled eggs from Edward, otherwise there wouldn't have been any for the party. This is our first party in the new house. We decided we would have a housewarming party once both babies were home. So we will have another homecoming party when Aurora is ready to come home.
Alice came into the kitchen while yelling at Edward in Irish. I just shook my head.
"What are you making him do now?"
"Nothing bad. Promise. I just needed him to bring in the rest of the stuff. Jasper is out there now to help him."
I stared at her. "What stuff?"
She waved her hand around. "Oh you know, extra chairs, tables, drinks, some of the food Mom made, decorations."
I laughed. I shouldn't have expected anything less from her. "Have at it." I said with a smile.

This is it. Edward put Luca's seat on the base. Luca's in the car ready to come home. All his vitals and tests came back good. He's on a bottle. They did tell me that I could try to breastfeed but if it didn't work, then to continue pumping and use the bottle. He's still so tiny.
Even though we were excited to be bringing him home, it was still a knife to the chest to leave his sister behind. I wanted them both home together but I understood that she needed extra time at the hospital. Doesn't mean I had to like it.
Aurora, god she was beautiful already. While she was gaining weight, she was having difficulty with feedings so she was still on a feeding tube. They said it could have been caused by the cord being around her neck. She also has jaundice so she's in an incubator still and is being treated with phototherapy which is a special blue light. It was hard to leave her behind but I had to do it.
Now here we are. Heading home with our son in the backseat with me. He was sound asleep. I noticed that Edward was actually going the speed limit for once.
We pulled up to the gate and Edward leaned out the window to press in the code. That was another thing we added. A tall fence with a gate that needed a password. Only our families and Sam had that code. Everyone else would need to be buzzed in. We also had cameras installed. Thank goodness for technology.
Once we were out of the car, Edward carried the car seat as I still couldn't lift it yet. He stopped at the door of the house, leaned over and said, "Love you Angel." Then kissed me. He pulled away too soon for my liking.
I opened the door and allowed Edward to enter first.
"Welcome home little man." Edward whispered to Luca as he took him out of his seat.
We entered the living room where everyone was. They shouted "Welcome home Luca."
We had a great evening. Everyone took turns holding Luca. Dinner was loud with excitement.
Once everyone left. We put Luca in his crib and left his door ajar. I brought the baby monitor into our room and sat it on my nightstand. We took turns in the shower and once we were dressed, we climbed under the blanket. Edward wrapped his arm around me as I laid my head on his chest. Sleep came easily to me and I dreamt about bringing Aurora home.

Hey hope y'all enjoyed this chapter. I'm not entirely sure how many more chapters I have left to write for this story, but don't be sad, I plan to write a sequel...
Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day…
Until next time…
