Bell and Ryuu stayed in the hospital for two weeks, Ryuu could have leaved earlier but she didn´t want to leave Bell´s side. Everyday they got visitors, either their gods, Bell´s Familia members or the other waitresses from the pub. Ryuu was especially releaved after Ahnya visited her, the cat-girl had needed one week to wake up again, by the time her brother had already left the hospital, but had left a note for her.
"Good to see you are getting better and...thank you...little sister."
Ahnya would never tell anyone how happy she was about that note and she treasured it for life. From this day onward, Ahnya found little gifts in her room when her birthday came or holy winter night. And to her surprise in two weeks as soon as she opened her eyes, she would see her spear leaning against the wall in her room, fully repaired.
But Ryuu was also surprised when Ahnya visited, she wore hospital clothes and a bathrobe...and was supported by a young man.
"Nyuu...meow...good morning." She smiled tired.
"Ahnya! Thank the gods you are awake!"
The young man helped Ahnya to walk over to the bed and sit down. As soon as she sat down, Ryuu leaned forward and pulled Ahnya into a hug.
"Meow?"
"I´m so glad." Ryuu had this mature smile on her face again as she hugged Ahnya.
"M-Meow...too bright..." She still returned the hug.
"Ms. Ahnya, good to see you are getting better."
"Meow...hello white hair."
After a few minutes Ahnya started to wobble and the young man came over.
"Lady Ahnya?"
"Sleepy...Val...Meow.."
Carefully he offered her his arm and supported her as she got up.
"Ahm...you are not a male nurse, aren´t you?" Ryuu looked confused.
"Meowhehe.." A tired laugh came from Ahnya. "Told you Nyuu..."
"Hm?"
Ryuu and Bell looked perplexed when Ahnya leaned forward with her usual smirk and kissed him on the cheek, she wasn´t blushing in the slightest. "Meow boyfriend."
The man´s cheeks got lightly red. "P-Pleasure to meet you."
Ahnya was so unsteady on her feet, that he leaned down and gently lifted her up in a princess carry... with a pleased face, Ahnya leaned her head onto his shoulder, while he carried her out of the door, and...purred. That was Ahnya´s special charm and nature, the man had confessed his love for her not even two weeks ago, she nearly died...and now she was newly in love.
"I didn´t knew Ms. Ahnya had a boyfriend."
"Me neither."
"They sure don´t lose time."
"I thought so too."

And then the evening of their release came, Astrea waited outside of the hospital, the others at home, the day after tomorrow Ryuu would start to work at the pub again, the waitresses brought her the message from Mama Mia she should stop slacking off and come back to work. Ryuu smiled when she heard that, it was Mia´s unique way to show her worries.
But one thing she missed to ask her friends for, to bring her clothes for the way home, so Ryuu had no other choice than putting on her white garment. She and Bell stood with their backs to the other as they changed, it wasn´t a real problem for Ryuu when Bell saw her bare body, but if they would do that every time, she felt like she would lose her shame and she didn´t like that feeling.
"Bell...don´t you dare have lewd thoughts now..." Ryuu wouldn´t tolerate it if he looked at her with "lusty" eyes when she wore this special outfit, but she had a light smile on her lips, it was a half joke since she knew Bell wasn´t like that.
For a moment Bell glanced over his shoulder. "Ryuu...you are beyond beautiful...you look like an angel." He looked at her as if he was enchanted, his eyes were innocent.
The honesty in his words was what let Ryuu blush.
She wanted to answer him and looked over her shoulder, but Bell was about to put on his shirt, the sight of his bare upper body let her cheeks get hot.

Five minutes later they were done.
"Ready to go?" Ryuu could walk without a crutch now, the magic in her garment supported her enough, but she had to walk slowly.
The plasters were taken off from Bell, but he had to use a crutch and move slowly, his new status had speeded up the healing process, but some things just took time. Starting the next day, Amid gave her okay for Ryuu to use her healing magic on Bell.
"Let us go, I can´t wait to get home."
They wished goodbye to Amid on their way out.
"Have a save trip, don´t get me wrong but I hope I won´t see you two here for a long time."
And as soon as they got out of the gate...

Many more voices came, dozens...maybe over a hundred people waited in front of the hospital, many had flowers with them. One after the other, the citizens came towards them and thanked them from the bottom of their hearts for rescuing them. They didn't storm them directly, but everyone came forward and wanted to thank them personally. Bell and Ryuu waited perplexed as one after another the people thanked them, Ryuu got the most personal thanks for rescuing, she wasn´t aware how many people she had saved...especially children. Astrea couldn't look more proud of her daughter. After half an hour all people were done and wished them goodbye.
But Ryuu and Bell weren´t the only ones, many people noticed Astrea and recognized who she was.
"Lady Astrea!"
"The goddess of justice!"
"Mylady!"
"Finally!"

"Mylady...will you once again defend justice in Orario?"
Astrea smiled lovingly. "You should ask that my captain, I just returned."
"Huh?" Ryuu looked surprised and embarassed as Astrea called attention to her again. "C-Captain? Me?"
Astrea whispered to her ear. "You are my only child for now, and I´m sure Alise and the others would agree."
Ryuu still thought about what Astrea had said while they walked to the mansion. "Mother."
"Hm?"
"You said...for now I´m your only child."
"Yes I did...I mean...if you would be okay with it, when you have a daughter some day, I would invite her to the Familia...and maybe some day, we will find people that are worthy of Alise´s and the others legacy...except you wouldn´t like that? I would never replace them...but I like the idea of finding someone who would honor what they had done, for what they sacrificed their lives.
That they protected justice, you and their ideals until their last breaths...some mortals who will remember them." Astrea smiled by the idea...then her smile got wider. "Except of course...you will grant me enough grandchildren to fill a whole Familia?"
"Mmmh!" Ryuu got red. "M-Mother...I-I d-don´t think that will be possible...I´m an elf..."
Astrea whispered again so that Bell couldn´t hear them. "Hm...What about your new ability? And I´m sure Mr. Bell isn´t called a rabbit for nothing?" She winked.
"I-I w-would prefer not to talk about th-that with you, mother..." Ryuu had never expected to hear something like that from Astrea.

Her blushing reached the tips of her ears, Ryuu hadn´t told Bell about her new ability "Blessing of Fertility" yet, it increased the chance for her to get pregnant if she was with her one true love.
It wasn´t rare that someone got an ability that had nothing to do with fighting...but that?
"Oh Ryuu that reminds me, I would like to visit you at the pub. I want to see my daughter working and wearing a waitress outfit...also I want to thank Ms. Mia and the others personally."
She nodded. "That would be nice."
"Maybe I can see you throwing a ruffian, like the others told me about."

Bell didn´t join the conversation, he just enjoyed seeing Ryuu talking with Astrea, when he thought back before the first meeting with her, there were worlds between these times.
"Haaa...but I sure would loved to see how the others would react to Mr. Bell...I mean our "young one" bringing home a boyfriend...that would be a sight.
"I´m sure they would have liked Bell." Ryuu hooked her arm on Bell´s.
"Mr. Bell?"

"Have I ever thanked you saving Ryuu like that? That you gave me my lovely daughter back? That thanks to you she is like she *Hic* was in the past?" Astrea had small tears in her eyes.
She stopped and hugged Bell softly. "Thank you Mr. Bell...*Hic* Thank you so much..."
"I ahm...didn´t do that much..."
"You did more than you know...take this as a sign of gratitude from the goddess of justice, for saving her daughter." Astrea gave Bell a kiss on the cheek. "Please don´t be mad Ryuu, that wasn´t something I had to do as a woman, but as a goddess."
"I´m not mad."
"Eh..." Bell´s expression was blank, that was the first kiss he got from a goddess.
"And I promise you two, be it in a thousand or two thousand years, I will always watch over your descendants."
They continued their way, from time to time people recognized them and thanked Bell and Ryuu, they stood out due to Bell´s hair and Ryuu´s clothes. And then finally they reached the Mansion.

It was good to see their home again, all of the damage that Bell had caused was repaired.

They were greeted by all members of the Familia´s in the big living room. As good as they were taken care off, the home was way better than the hospital, since it was evening the small welcome back party didn´t went on too long.
Hestia cleared her throat. "So everyone, finally we are all back at home. Tomorrow we will have a real party...since we are not all here today." Hestia winked, some were confused by that.
"So Ryuu and Bell, welcome back, I´m sure you two were waiting to finally take a real bath again, everything is prepared, take your bath, sleep in a real bed and tomorrow we will start anew as a big Familia. Oh and our outside spring-like bath will be finished tomorrow too."
Everything after the words "take your bath" got blurry for Ryuu.
Finally...it has been too long...
"Oh ahm...l-lady Hestia..I..." Ryuu fidgetted lightly.
"Yes yes, don´t worry, as an elf you get to use the spring-like bath first, so we have the approval of an expert.

It was Hestia´s special charm, that Ryuu felt such warmth here, she really liked that big Familia, containing of four small Familia´s, it felt like...home.

It only took them minutes but for Ryuu it was an eternity, when they finally went into the big bathroom. Normally it was parted by gender, but everyone agreed that the couples could bathe together if they wanted...Mikoto and Takemikazuchi didn´t to that, except for a few shy kisses and light cuddling they haven´t done more, since Mikoto´s pure maiden heart was not ready for more, but her god was almost the same, he was still not used to have a woman at his side.
Ryuu and Bell used the washing area together, Bell helped her to wash her hair, since her hair had reached the bottom of her shoulder blades.

That to say, Ryuu only bathed together with Bell or alone, she was adamant about not showing her skin to anyone...although Astrea had asked her to bath together sometime, she missed to do that with one of her children, in the past Alise had persuaded their goddess to join her in the bath, that time Ryuu found that improper.
She closed her eyes as her foot sank down in the hot water, followed by her leg and the rest of her body up to her shoulders. "Mmmmmh...it has been too long..." Ryuu...purred...somehow.
The only kind of bath she liked more than this, was in a spring or a lake, Bell didn´t really cared much about the kind of bath, he was happy enough to be with Ryuu.
"Ah...it sure feels nice..." Bell leaned against the pool wall next to Ryuu, soaked up to his shoulders and closed his eyes as well.
"Hmh...sure does..."
"Yes it does..."
"Yes..."
"Hmh..."

They leaned their heads together and relaxed in the bath for a long time, the magical stones built into the pool wall kept the water temperature constant.

After a while Bell changed his place into the corner of the bathing pool, leaning on the small walls, Ryuu followed him and sat down between his legs, leaning onto his chest. They didn´t open their eyes the whole time, just enjoying the feeling without looking.

Bell closed his arms around Ryuu, she put hers on his and they slightly dozed off for a while. Normally he wasn´t a fan of taking long baths but they stayed inside for an hour, for the first time in weeks they didn´t had to take a shower and could cuddle again in the bath.

"Would you have imagined...that we will end like this...at our first meeting?"
She felt his chest trembling as she chuckled. "No...I didn´t even dared to hope seeing such a beautiful elven lady like this...not that I imagined it that time."

One of the best installments in the bath was a tiny magical fridge that worked with special magic stones, with small milk bottles inside. Mikoto told Ryuu about this custom from baths in her homeland.
Gulping down a bottle with cold milk after a bath really helped to clear the head. But before that, they stepped to the washing area were they had prepared wooden buckets with cold water, they took off their towels and tipped the water over their shoulders.
After the sudden cold shower, they put their towels back on and gulped down the milk, while leaning slightly backwards, Mikoto had insisted it was part of the custom to drink like that...

The next one was a smaller sword, short enough to be used with one or two hands, looking like the finest craftsmanship someone could find. The blade looked like it was made from silver...suddenly flames gushed out of the blade and it shone orange.

Next was a sword also short enough for one hand, the handle was wrapped in leather, the middle part formed like a skull with horns, the blade tapered towards the top, blue glowing runes were inside the blade and it gave off a cold aura.

"Ahm no...it looks somewhat evil..."
A long golden spear appeared, as he looked the long handle changed it´s size, the tip was wide as the bottom and formed like a stylized flame.
What about Solarian? The spear of a warrior angel, filled with flames of the sun?
"Spears are not mine...what is going on here? Would you explain? Whoever you are?"
No answer came.
One weapon after the other appeared and the question came again and again. But everytime Bell denied and his eyes returned to his weapons.

Behind the Hestia Knife he could see a shadow that looked like Hestia, waving to him smiling.
Behind Fairy´s Dawn was a shadow of Ryuu, looking like she was waiting for him calmly.
He loved both of them...but the question wasn´t about which woman he loved but the weapon. And nothing could ever replace the Hestia Knife for him.

When the first sun rays reached Ryuu´s face, she opened her eyes blinking, her head was resting on Bell´s chest and she could feel his hand lightly caressing her back.

Bell´s body shifted lightly as he bent down to give Ryuu a good morning kiss.

Ryuu slightly opened her eyes, saw Bell´s rubelite and mixed eyes gazing down on her face, she felt Bell´s hand on her body...moving upwards.

Both were so happy when they sat down at the breakfast table, after a morning shower, that they didn´t noticed how red Astrea´s cheeks were, she forgot to mention that there was just an empty room between their rooms.
I never thought my pure, innocent little Ryuu...would sound like this...those two really love each other...and this early after such a long night...and so loud...
But she would never reveal to Ryuu that she had heard absolutely everything...that wasn´t something a mother should talk about with her daughter...

After they had their breakfast, Naza, Ouka and Haruhime packed a few bundles together and left the Mansion together.
They were away around an hour when Bell went to Hestia.
"Lady Hestia, where did they go?" Bell called his goddess "lady Hestia" in front of the others, he had promised her to use her name without honorifics when they were alone or Ryuu was with him. It was Hestia´s joy, the little secret she had with Bell, also that he promised to give her shoulders a rub if they got stiff again from work.
Since Hestia had reccomended it so strongly, Ryuu had tried getting a massage from Bell once, she didn´t suffer from stiff shoulders, but it was a nice feeling.
"Hehe...did I mention it? From today onward our Familia will grow, we are getting new members."
"New members?"
"Yes, Miach, Take and I all accepted one new member for the Familia´s."
"Who is it?"
"Hehe...you will see in a few minutes, I´m sure it will be a surprise."
Most of the members seemed to know about it.
"We will have a big feast today to greet them, and to celebrate that you're ba-."
They heard the gate being opened and shortly after closed.
"Ah they are here, everyone into the living room and sit down."
"Okay...?..." Bell and Ryuu looked at each other, confused but followed what Hestia had said.
Hestia herself waited at the door and opened it when the others were in the living room, they heard her voice. "Welcome...take your time."
Bell was curious who would it be.
The first one that entered the room was Haruhime...and someone small hiding behind her, someone that hold her hand.
"It´s okay...take your time...nobody will do anything to you." She turned around, got on her knees and smiled to the person behind her, even kneeling Haruhime was taller.
A prum?
Then he saw it...a tiny beige colored animal-like ear...
Could it be?
"H...H-Hello..." The tiny girl hid half of her body behind the motherly smiling Haruhime.
"Fina?" Bell leaned forward on the couch, looking surprised.
It was indeed the chienthrope girl from Maria´s orphanage, when she saw Bell´s face, her own lightened up. "Bell! Hello." She smiled shyly.
"Hello." He smiled.
Don´t tell me...
Now Ouka came in, followed by a human boy who grinned nervously, as soon as he saw Bell, he waved. "Hey brother Bell!"
"Rye."
He was as nervous as Fina by the sight of so many people waiting for them, and the unfamiliar Ryuu, but he wanted to be brave. They had got to know the others during the incident as Hestia had demanded to led all the orphans into the Mansion.
And finally.
"Hello...everyone..." With a calm smile a small half-elf walked inside the room, followed by Naza who´s calm smile was surprisingly similar.
"Roux?"
"Hello Bell."
It were the three orphans that Bell became friends with, Hestia was the last that came inside.

"So everyone, please greet the new members of our Familia alliance." She grinned widely.

Roux continued to smile calmly while his...her...Bell still wasn´t sure about the gender of the half-elf, Rye grinned lightly embarrassed and Fina pushed herself against Haruhime´s legs, smiling shyly.
They sat down on the big couches, Rye between the Takemikazuchi Familia members, Roux sat beside Naza and Fina didn´t let go of Haruhime. Since Haurhime was bound, Mikoto went inside the kitchen and got drinks for the kids.
"Take, Miach and me had a talk for a while now, the children can´t stay forever with Maria...and due to the incident more came...so we decided to adopt Rye, Roux and Fina...if they wanted."
"We were really happy." Roux had the same smile as always and his...or her? eyes wandered already around the room, he or she was never able to stay with one topic for a long time.
In the evening Bell would find out that Roux was actually a girl, after Lily told him, the separate bathrooms were a big help...
"Yes! Thank you so much!" Rye grinned.
Fina looked up to Haruhime. "Th-Thank you."
Haruhime put an arm around Fina and hugged her softly. "Don´t thank me...Fina."
"Mhm." She nodded and leaned her head against Haruhime, smiling.
They go along very well. Bell smiled.
"So lady Hestia, which Familia will they join?"
Hestia nodded to Rye. "Take will take Rye in his Familia, Rye wants to be an adventurer in the future."
The wargod patted the grinning boy on the head. "I´m happy to have you in my Familia, Rye."
"Thank you so much lord Take!"
The Familia smiled, that was the innocence of a child. Normally only Hestia called him like that...and Mikoto when they were alone.
"Roux will join our Familia, but as a non-combatant member. Naza and I can need help with all the potions." Miach smiled and softly squeezed Roux´ hand.
"I´m happy to be part of your Familia, lord Miach." The half-elf smiled like a child.
"And I´m happy to have you, Roux."
Bell´s eyes wandered to the shy Fina.
"That means, our Familia will...?"
"Fina will be part of our Familia as a non-combatant, but we won´t adopt her."
"Not?"
"No, not our Familia will adopt Fina..."
"But who?"
"Haruhime."
Bell looked perplexed to Haruhime, who smiled to Fina motherly.
"She visited the orphanage for a few months now, she and Fina had taken a special liking to each other." Haruhime´s motherly behaviour was always strong.
"D-Does that mean?"
"Yes, Fina will be Haruhime´s adoptive daughter as of today."
How many years are they apart? Five? Six? Bell looked amazed, due to their behaviour to each other, Haruhime and Fina really looked like mother and child, instead of sisters what would be closer with their age.
Fina smiled happily and hugged Haruhime, who returned the hug...then she said the one word that stole everyones heart right away...

They could see tears of joy filling Haruhime´s eyes. "Fina."
"Ehe." They cuddled lightly.

It was a heartwarming sight for everyone.
"Lady Hestia?"
"Yes, Roux?"
"Ahm...does that mean we will also be able to earn money?"
"Of course, we do the jobs as a Familia and you will be supporter, as that you will get your share of money."
The three children looked at each other excited.
"Ahm..." Rye looked lightly embarassed. "And..c-can we...send money to...Maria?"
"Of course, it is your money and you can spend it like you want, but we will donate some money every month to Maria so she can help the children...And you can visit them as often as you want."
Their beaming faces made everyone smile without exception.
"So...Haruhime and Ouka will show you the Mansion, the others will prepare our party, we will have a feast today!"
By the sight of these three lively children, Bell could feel Ryuu squeezing his hand lightly, when he looked at her he saw her smiling at him.
At her side, Astrea noticed very well how Ryuu reacted towards Bell after seeing the children and was filled with joy and hope.
Mikoto rolled up her sleeves and gave Chigusa a sign to follow her. "We will prepare the food."
Normally two people wouldn´t be enough, but Haruhime had to stay with Fina, due to her shyness, and no one else was allowed in the kitchen. As Mikoto had told them friendly one time, the others were "in the way".
Welf worked together with Lily and Daphne to prepare the rooms for the children, Roux and Rye would get their own rooms, they were really excited, Fina would move to Haruhime. They also prepared a spare room, if the children would feel lonely, since they were used to sleep together, they could meet their at night until they got used to their new environment.

For now Bell and Ryuu returned to their room, they wanted to clean up and change the sheets and blankets of their bed...after...that night.
But when they entered their room...something caught Bell´s attention. He had a strange feeling when his eyes fell on Fairy´s Dawn, which was in it´s hilt on a weapon stand.
"Bell?"
"Something...I don´t know..."
He walked over, his weapons were where he left them, but something about his sword was different.
You made your choice, young hero...
Something like a memory flashed through Bell´s mind, he took Fairy´s Dawn´s hilt and put his hand on the handle, he felt...strange?
Slowly he unsheathed his sword...and looked speechless at the blade.
"Bell? Wh-...What is this?!"
Hilt and handle looked unchanged and had the golden-red color...but the blade...was jetblack, only the cutting edge of the blade had a metallic color and as soon as Bell drew it...runes appeared along the blade...just like...
"It looks like...my Knife..."
Bell looked down and drew the Hestia Knife with his other hand, it was still there and like always, the runes activated there as well and together the runes of blade and knife pulsed in the rhytm of Bell´s heartbeat.
Ryuu looked at the two smiliar looking blade, one sword and one Knife. "Is this...the gift of heaven?"
As much as Bell liked Fairy´s Dawn, it wouldn´t held long against his new strength, but now that the blade had changed...it had the same effect as the Hestia Knife and grew with his strength, but is was no divine weapon, it kept it´s other traits.
"Wow..." Slowly he swung the sword through the air.
"Impressive...how does it feel?"
"Wonderful..."
"You look like you want to test it out."
"I do."
Ryuu smiled softly. "But Amid forbid us to fight for the next three weeks."
"I know..." He looked sad, after a while he put his sword back and smiled ruefully. "Can´t help it...shall we start the cleaning?"
"Sure."

About three weeks later...

"Heeeeey everyone! Ears up!" Hestia beamed all over her face.
"Hm?"
"What is it?"
"News?"
"Hehe...we have a quest...from the guild directly send to us."
"Oh?"
"What kind of quest?"
"We shall investigate an old temple...at the seaside."
"Seaside?"
"Temple?"
"Lady Hestia? Does that mean..." Haruhima sat in an armchair, Fina sitting on her lap.

Authors Note: Hey everyone many many thanks for the Reviews. About this chapter, for two days alone I wrote on the love scene, it wasn´t only meant as fanservice, I tried to show how happy Bell and Ryuu are that they are back at home...and how frightened in their hearts to lose the person they love the most or die themself. Hope it came over like I hoped it would, also that was the last love scene for this story. This time for real^,...,^
Fot the next chapter, every anime needs a beach episode...Teehee...no to be serious, the next one will be the summer special, I will probably take over a week to write it, for once due to my work this week and for the second, this will be the longest chapter of the story...for now. the average length is about 5k-6k words, the valentine special was 11k. The summer special will be about...20k+. I have planned many many things for this chapter, Especially for the end.
