Pirates and ninjas?! Oh boy. And yes, I am going to melding elements from FusionFall Infinite and DSX64215's You Shall (not) Win This Time…namely with the overarching antagonist. Why? Because this story needs a villain and a centralized one for the connected stories would be useful to give this story direction and to motivate you to read more. ;)

Chapter 39: Deny Me Thy Dignity

Naruto really wished he they had not, but the village decided to cave into the demands of the pirates. Naruto arrived to find not only did the pirate already left, they lasered a message for him on the side the Great Naruto Bridge.

Captain Sohryu was here, Naruto gets blue balled. In German.

To say Naruto was angry was understatement. No, he was seething in rage as energy crackled around his and an aura of red come over him. Super Saiyan for him was a bit different due to the Nine-Tails, the sharp blonde and green eyes were reddish-blonde and purple. Naruto calmed down and took a breath.

He turned to the crowd.

"Anyone has information, a description maybe?" Naruto asked.

"I can help with that." Sonic said spitting out a bit of blood. "The captain called herself Captain Asuka Langley Sohryu, but…I don't think she's a real Sohryu. No, I think this one was pretending to be one. She was too militant…her combative skills were distinctly military in origin."

"So, a Shikinami Asuka? Ok, why pretend to be a Sohryu? One thing common in most Asukas are their egos." Naruto said asking no one in particular.

"Her crew was pretty impressive. Ten and a bunch of droids. Even some of Eggman's mechas. Never thought I'd see those again." Sonic huffed. "Aside from toying with us, pillaging the village, Asuka craved that message and called for her men to leave. They did not want a fight…they wanted to send a message."

"Of freaking course." Naruto said. "Thank you."

Sonic nodded before leaving to check on his team. Naruto moved to find Ino, Tenten, and Kin…and he was a bit surprised by Kin's growth. She was no ugly duckling by any means, but she filled out and looked rather graceful reminding him of a young Nico Robin. Did not stop him from hugging all three just glad they had minor bruises. Tenten was not pleased with what had happened.

"They were toying with us." Tenten said firmly. "They were holding back, like they were just gauging us. Their tactics were to incapacitate us quickly. Caught us with our pants down."

"Tenten's mad, one of the droids blasted her while she was in the bathroom." Ino said as Tenten's face soured.

"I won't laugh." Naruto assured. "I'm just more than happy you're safe. And I do like your new outfits."

Tenten had worn clothes Chun-Li wore in her Alpha incarnation only with blue replaced with red. Even had the hairdo to match with her hitai-ite around her head. Ino simply went the outfit her canon self would wear in Naruto the Last with her hitai-ite on her waist. Kin looked like she wore one of Naruto's older gis with the hitai-ite still on her forehead.

"You're not so bad yourself." Ino said. "I just wish our reuniting was not because of this. That captain pretty much ruined our mission."

"Let's just go home." Kin said. "I need a hot bath."

Thanks to the rings, it was a Hirashin jump back to Konoha. Naruto was beyond ecstatic to have the family together for the first dinner and for everyone to meet Saya.

"I hope it's okay I didn't summon Sakura to serve. I just wanted to enjoy our first family dinner together without her." Hinata said as Naruto twitched.

Hanabi was teasing him under the table with her feet rubbing between his legs.

"How is Sakura?" Naruto asked curiously.

"Still the obediently loyal submissive. She's been long awaiting your return to use her." Karin said with a snicker. "As for Asana, I had her be STORM's meat toilet for a few months. She got mouthy. As for Mebuki…she's still around…just given up in defying you. I think it finally hit how bad things are when her ex and her sister sent her a photo of their daughter, Maiko."

"Yeah, I can't really feel bad for Mebuki. But before I ask of anyone else, what of you guys? Me and Temari have made some boons in our training." Naruto bemused.

"Mastered most of my mutation to where I can summon fire without having to transform." Ino said confidently. "But it has made work on my water affinity a bit difficult."

"I've made some leaps and bounds. I'm pretty secure as the Hyuga heiress." Hinata said with a wink.

"I got the same mutation Hinata did." Hanabi said. "I'm rather sore you didn't tell me sooner."

"I passed on mutations." Kin said. "Not my thing. I just wanted to build on my own strength."

"Fu's still not here?" Temari said as Naruto's phone buzzed with a message from Fu. "What's wrong?"

"It's Fu. She sent a voicemail…which is odd." Naruto said before playing it.

"Naruto, I want to be home with you, but I think I may be in danger…and so is our world. Me and Samantha were being tailed. Samantha barely managed to kill the stalker, but what we discovered was disturbing. He was not just any stalker…he was a spy sent to record our progress…how strong we were and what not. Mainly on what non-canonical abilities we had. All I can glean out of the creep was Rendō Nexus before he used some technique to become warper flames and escape his body. We can't go home now, and you may not be safe. They could have spies tailing you or others on our planet! Be careful, darling."

The end of the message and Naruto lost his appetite. The chopsticks clattered on the table as Naruto walked off with a haunted look on his face.

"Tousan, are you ok?" Saya asked.

"No. Tousan needs to call a meeting. Finish your dinner…" Naruto said leaving the house. "Kurenai?"

"Hm?"

"Keep an eye on the place." Naruto said darkly before shunshining away.

The first thing Naruto did was call Tsunade telling her to meet him at his office at UzuCorp. As Naruto arrived at headquarters, he noticed Velvet was no longer there. No, instead it was Yang and Ruby being the secretaries.

"Where's Velvet?" Naruto asked.

"She put her notice to retire. After the time bubble popped, she wanted to be with her fiancée. She married the guy, and she's saying on Zen Kuro." Yang said giving him Velvet's notice. "She trained us as her replacements."

"And Jaune and your Nora?" Naruto asked.

"They left the planet. Last I heard, they joined a pirate crew." Ruby said as Naruto's eye twitched. "Not that ones that attacked Neo Uzu. No…it was the Blue Lilith Pirates or something."

Naruto calmed down.

"I need to call a meeting. I'm expecting Tsunade and Shizune. Have Hinoto and Yugao called up to my office immediately." Naruto said as they nodded.

He went up to his office and plopped down into his office chair stressing out. It was not long before his STORM commander, the Hokage, her assistant, and his old sensei were in the room.

"Naruto, is something wrong?" Yugao asked first.

He told them everyone and asked a few questions.

"No, I haven't recruited anyone into STORM." Hinoto remarked. "It would not be wise to do so given our autonomy."

"We'll have to close borders for the time being." Tsunade affirmed. "As for you, Naruto, I suggest you take a breath and calm down. Fu is tough as nails and she has Samantha with her."

"My only question is why me…why her…" Naruto said concerned. "I barely have anyone with a grudge on me considering…most of my enemies in my old life are dead or no longer an issue."

"Considering canon's thrown out the window, we have no idea what's coming." Shizune said. "This an outside threat and we're going in blind."

"I need information. I…" Naruto said before sighing. "Tsunade, what do you suggest?"

"Naruto, you're stressed and you're not going to help fretting. Have faith that she'll come back. I will close our borders for refugees. We'll get flak, but…we have to." Tsunade said ruffling his hair affectionately. "Good night, kid."

She and Shizune left as Hinoto removed her mask to look into Naruto's eyes.

"When the time bubble around this world popped, exactly 30 people arrived to Konoha. Thankfully, I can pull records to track them. Considering one of them was a mail order bride that Hiro decided to order…I'll keep my eyes peeled." Hinoto said before shunshining out of the room.

"Kit, we're in deep shit." Kurama said as Naruto got a cup before seeking out some liquor. "Not the time for that."

Naruto decided to try his luck and call Merch.

"Yel-loh, it's Merch. Sadly, I'm not at the mood because reasons. Leave a message and I'll get back to you." -*BEEP*-

"Merch, it's Naruto Satoshi. Shit's going down and I need information. Rendō Nexus. Whatever information you can get, please send me. On a side note, one of my wives is in a spot of danger. Fu, the Chomei container, she was training off-planet and was being stalked by one of RN's goons. She and Samantha Seijima managed to kill the creep off, but…I need help getting them back home. Call me back as soon as you can." Naruto said before hanging up.

"You want to rough up Sakura? Seeing the pink bitch squeal always makes you laugh." Kurama suggested.

"Maybe tomorrow. I'm going to call it a night." Naruto said before remembering Hinata. "Shit…"

Naruto left the office looking down at Velvet's letter thanking him for hiring and all that. There was a photo of her and her fiancée, a happy photo with a message of 'If You're In Zen-Kuro, Hit Us Up.'.

"Thanks, Vel." Naruto said putting the photo and the letter away.

He walked the nighttime streets slowly and on his lonesome only to hear a voice…Shino's.

"Hey, Shino. Good to see you again." Naruto said as Shino nodded.

"You ok, Naruto? I sense you're not well." Shino said walking alongside him.

"Yeah, shit's going down. I have no idea who's on our asses this time." Naruto said coldly. "We're in for a fight."

"Such as the life of a ninja." Shino said resigned. "I wouldn't worry too much, we'll fight this together. Welcome back, old friend."

Shino walked away as Naruto arrived at the Hyuga compound. Hiashi and Tomo greeted him and took him to a sitting around. Hinata looked disappointed. She had plans for why she wanted Naruto to come…but he was not in the right mood.

"I got the ropes and everything…but I don't think he'll be in the mood for it." Hinata thought holding his hand.

"Naruto, you should rest." Hinata said. "You look awful…"

Naruto lazily used Hirashin to get back home to his room. He changed into sleepwear and collapsed into bed slipping into a dreamless sleep.

[Unknown location, unknown world]

"So, the stalker we sent after Fu Uzumaki has perished. Most disappointing, but the data we got from him is telling. 'Rokubungi', what do you think?"

"Kotetsu. While the combat data is useful, are you not concerned that she may warn Naruto of our organization." 'Rokubungi' asked.

"No, because he doesn't know anything. At least not enough to put him at ease. Besides, he's going to distracted by Captain Sohryu. I'm interested that Sonic fellow caught on she was a Shikinami. No matter, not like they know she's only a pawn in the chess game." 'Kotetsu' said with a cackle. "But I can't have loose ends."

There were a call made.

"Status report, 11." 'Kotetsu' asked.

"They are closing the borders. A sweep is being made on the new imports. They don't suspect a thing…" '11' stated.

"Of course not, I long since planted a seed in you before I left that world behind. So easy to use that seal to swap minds on an unaware body. Now, I have a task for you. Rebecca has lived long enough…she needs to die. Eliminate her." 'Kotetsu' said. "And collect the flames to ensure she can't escape again…I want that brought to me."

"As you wish." '11' said before hanging up.

"And what of my targets?" 'Rokubungi' asked.

"Simple, another distraction. I've arranged for a Shikinami to seek the Knights of Ryujin out. Two of them. One completely innocent…the sacrificial lamb, a new warper unaware she's a clone and bait. And the other one, who's going to kill her in front of the Knights claiming that the lamb was a spy and she's here to help them." 'Kotetsu' said. "Made sure for a clean wipe in the lamb to ensure if she somehow does survive, no tracebacks to the world she used to live it or to us."

"That will be interesting to watch." 'Rokubungi' said.

'Kotetsu' laughed before looking at the screen.

"The Umikage's mistake was making everyone a warper quickly enough…and while she'll pay for that. Naruto is going to be very busy with filler villains." 'Kotetsu' said before laughing harder.

(A/N: Setting the mood, and I would like suggestions. Do you have a filler villain you want to see Naruto and friends battle? Let me know! I do hope that Kotetsu has a good start for being a villain. Yes, I did establish him more in FusionFall Infinite, but I had to do here properly. I liked the idea of Kotetsu being the type of villain to have our heroes distracted while he gathers more time to train and increase resources. For this arc, Naruto is going to have a mystery on her hands. As for Captain Sohryu, I'll take suggestions for her crew of ten. See you next time on the 40th chapter!)
