RAW is WAR: 5/4/1999

RAW is WAR was live at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. As usual, the show's intro video plays then the theme before the opening fireworks go off. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are commentators for the show.

"On a night where the McMahon family waits to see what the Undertaker's next move will be, we welcome you to RAW is WAR from the the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York! We are kicking off the show tonight with the WWF World Tag Team Championships on the line!" Michael Cole comments.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Jim Johnston's Dark Side plays as Fire explodes on the stage and the lights change to dark red and dark blue as the Bladewolf and Kane walk out, getting a loud pop from the fans. They had their WWF World Tag Team Championships on their right shoulders

"The following tag team contest is scheduled for one-fall and it is for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships!" Tony Chimel announced. "Introducing first, at a combined weight of 636 lbs, they are the World Wrestling Federation World Tag Team Champions...THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION!"

"If you are just tuning in, last week this duo faced the Legion of Doom and were close to retaining their titles when the match ended on DQ when Jeff Jarrett struck Bladewolf from behind." Cole said as the replay of last week shows for the fans watching at home who are just tuning in. "Tonight, Kane and the Bladewolf get their revenge as they face the former champs tonight. They defeated Hart and Jarrett at WrestleMania 15, but it seems they are not finished with them just yet."

Bladeowlf and Kane enter the ring where Kane raises his arms and throws them down, causing fire to explode from the turnbuckles. They hand their titles to the referee before Bladewolf takes off his trench coat as Jeff Jarrett's theme hits.

"And their opponents. Accompanied by Debra, at a combined weight of 461 lbs...OWEN HART AND JEFF JARRETT!" Tony Chimel announced before leaving the ring.

"Wow, Debra looks hot tonight!" Jerry said as Debra was wearing a red robe over whatever clothing she was wearing tonight.

Stepping into the ring, Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett remove their shirts and the referee raises the Tag Team Titles as their theme dies down. The referee, Tim White, hands the belts to someone at ringside before calling for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Bladewolf wanted to start off with Jeff Jarrett so Kane and Owen Hart get onto the ring apron in their corners. Bladewolf glares Jarrett down when Jarrett makes the mistake of shoving Bladewolf on the chest.

"That may be the biggest mistake ever." Cole said.

"Jeff Jarrett is about to become a dead man." Jerry said with a nod, knowing it is unwise to anger the Bladewolf when he already is angry.

Bladewolf responds by picking Jarrett up, runs and drives him into the corner hard before driving his shoulder into Jarrett's gut a few times then nails an uppercut before bringing Jarrett into one hard clothesline.

"Oof! That nearly took Jarrett's head off." Cole said.

"Ouch." Jerry nods in agreement.

Bladewolf lays the beating on Jarrett with a fury of lefts and rights to Jarrett, going up and down the body from the midsection to the head then ends his assault with an uppercut that floors Jarrett.

"Ouch! I felt that." Jerry said.

"Bladewolf unleashing a devastating assault on Jeff Jarrett, wanting nothing more than to make him pay for last week." Cole said.

Hooking his arms, Bladewolf tosses Jeff Jarrett across the ring to a small pop from the fans as Bladewolf glares darkly at Jarrett. Jarrett recovers from the toss and gets to his feet, turning around and nails a hard right hook to the masked face of the Bladewolf that barely fazes him before Jarrett knees him in the gut and drops a forearm onto his back, only further angering the Bladewolf who headbutts Jarrett, sending the former Tag Team Champion to a knee, holding his forehead, Bladewolf boots Jarrett down before he rebounds off the ropes and nails a leg drop, going for the cover but Jarrett kicks out at two.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and grabs Jarrett, dragging him over to the corner where he tags in Kane. Kane steps over the top rope and grabs Jarrett, sends him into the ropes and catches Jarrett in a powerslam.

"Oh! What a powerslam!" Jerry said.

Kane climbs to the top rope and waits for Jarrett to get to his feet and turn around. When he does, Kane leaps off...AND NAILS THE FLYING CLOTHESLINE! Kane gets to his feet and fixes his glove before raising his right hand, a Chokeslam waiting to happen. Jarrett makes the tag to Owen Hart who comes in and Irish whips Kane , and nails a dropkick on the Big Red Machine.

Kane sits up right away and gets to his feet where Hart nails a right hook but Kane knocks Hart down with a nasty uppercut that knocks Hart off his feet. Kane reaches down to grab Hart when he does an inside cradle but Kane kicks out at two. Kane gets to his feet and targets Hart's ribs, stomping on them repeatedly, making sure Hart feels the pain.

"look at those stomps, those got to hurt the ribs." Cole said.

Kane picks Hart up and Irish whips him into his corner where Kane walks over and tags in his brother.

"And here comes the Bladewolf." Jerry said.

Bladewolf comes in and stomps away on Hart viciously before pulling Hart in close and nails a Belly-to-Belly suplex. Hart crawls towards his aprtner who has his hand out but Bladewolf grabs Hart's foot and drags him away from Jarrett and unloads with a vicious assault of lefts and rights, forcing Hart to cover up.

"Look at those lefts and rights! So deadly." Jerry said.

"That they are, King." Cole nods.

Bladewolf stops his assault and gets to his feet before hitting a leg drop on Hart. Bladewolf picks Hart up by the throat before lifting him into the air, about to hit a Chokeslam when Jarrett comes in and hits Bladewolf from behind but Kane walks over and grabs Jarrett by the throat. Bladewolf and Kane nod at one another before lifting Hart and Jarrett up...AND PLANT THEM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!

"Double Chokeslam!" Cole said.

Bladewolf slices his thumb across his throat before grabbing Hart, lifts him onto his shoulders...AND NAILS THE WOLF'S HOWL! Bladewolf wasn't finished as he picks up Hart once more, hoists him onto his shoulder and holds him in front of him upside down...AND HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! THEY RETAIN THE TITLES!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Dark Side plays as Bladewolf gets to his feet. "here are your winners and STILL the World tag Team Champions...KANE AND THE BLADEWOLF!"

The referee hands the two brothers their titles and they stand in the middle of the ring, looking down at Jarrett and Hart. Kane raises his arms before throwing them down, causing fire to shoot out as the red light turns on and the two brothers leave the ring and head to the back...

And that's it for this chapter. I have a very curious question by the way that relates to Bladewolf's character evolution.

Now, as you all possibly know, by late 1999-early 2000, WWE was entering an age where things and storylines were a lot more realistic, which is one of the reasons Undertaker became American Badass, he wanted to evolve his character, show a human feel to it for the modern generation of that time, plus the company was changing as well in a way, the WWE was entering an era that was less about mythical monsters and supernatural games.

So, I'm wondering if Bladewolf should get something similar to change in a era that becomes more and more realistic, as WhatCulture says. Maybe Trish could be responsible for making Bladewolf more human and locking the Demon away.

Of course, I'd bring the demonic side back when the time is right, or maybe make aHybrid of the two changes, put the human and Demon together to form one being.

PM me with ideas on how I can make this work. I can't just keep Bladewolf as this masked demon for his ENTIRE career, the character needs to evolve and fit with the era as WWE fits with it, heck I'm still surprised the Deadman Undertaker fit in WWE from 2004-present day since a lot was changing as WWE went PG.
