It was a cloudy day at the Lititz Heights train station, and reporter Tang Yanghui was with an Indian-American woman with magical apparel. She reported, "This is Tang Yanghui of the Lititz Heights News, international ecologist and platypus rights activist Pera will be coming to Lititz Heights for the 'Save the Platypus' night. She knows how important these marsupials are."

"That's right," Pera agreed. "I've just got here from my gig on the Anthem Getaway. Right now me and my platypuses are going to perform at Lititz Heights High."

"Before now," Tang replied, "you were having lunch at the famous Roadhouse Fantasia, main hangout for town heroes the Kirby Klue Queens."

"You would not believe how wonderful Lorraine was to me," Pera smiled. "She even gave me a free dessert." After the interview, she arrived to her rented van, only to find her pet platypuses missing.

Meanwhile at the library, the Klue Queens, Rick, Tokkori, and Kirby were finishing up their homework when Rylie accidentally stepped on a green fuzzy creature. She inquired, "A platypus?"

The creature got up and placed his brown fedora on. "Perry the Platypus?" Rylie asked.

Perry made some chirping noises, which made the Klue Queens confused. Luckily, Rick's capability of speaking platypus was able to translate him. "Perry here is saying that Pera's platypus troop has gone missing and heard that you're the only girls who can solve this case. The police would probably take a very long time."

"That is true," Kaylin agreed as she placed her fashion magazine down. "Chief Hess doesn't trust us."

When asking for suspects, Perry narrowed it to three people.

Suspects

Tallie Porche(Kris's assistant)- Every interview and apperance she has with Pera, she seems to be mad at her.

Kris Shah(Unknown girl in Pera's diary entries)- A mysterious girl Pera seems to know.

Alexus Thumper(Pera's head marketer)- Pera heard rumors of him planning a surprise, but isn't sure if it's a mean or wonderful.

Later at the train station, Leah, Estrella, and Tania were going around for some clues. As for Swinger and Kirby, they were both looking at the map of Lititz Heights so they could go over which is which. While they were interviewing the crew who was on the train, they spotted an Australian girl arguing with the conductor.

"I'm telling you," the conductor replied, "I know nothing about any platypus thefts."

"Well, if you don't tell Pera where they are," the Australian girl replied, "I'm going to give you a Kangaroo punching of a life time."

The trio began to realize that the grumpy Australian girl yelling at the conductor was Tallie. Instead of interviewing her, they decided to cut the scene so she wouldn't startle Kirby.

Meanwhile, Kaylin, Rylie, Paige, Perry Tokkori, and Rick were at Dono Studios, which was a place where Pera performed the last time she came to Lititz Heights. While Kaylin, Rylie, and Paige came through the door, Perry, Tokkori, and Rick went through the window like spies. Suddenly, they saw Eli interviewing an African-American boy. He was Alexus, and he was there to market Pera's show and to show her a surprise proposal for the show. This meant one thing: Pera and Alexus were in love. Even though Perry didn't do romance much, he strongly believed in family love.

Before they could leave, Eli explained that someone came in and scared away the visiting pet show. To add detail, he showed a recording on an old tape recorder and they heard someone in an Aussie accent calling them "drongos." Paige and Rick recognized the slang before, but didn't know what it meant.

Later that night, Paige was sleeping peacefully when she smelled something chocolatey. Rick was also there so he could help look after the baby. They crept downstairs and saw Peter cooking in the kitchen.

"Peter," groaned Paige, "It's 4 in the morning. Are you preparing chocolate pudding for Koharu again?"

"I am," answered Peter. "You know me, sis. I love to lose control of my life. Plus. this could be a good way to help the baby with breakfast. Celia would say that I'm being a 'drongo', but she's, like, out of her mind."

Realizing this, Paige and Rick finally remembered that "drongo" meant "idiot," which was what Peter was mostly.

At The Bauer Hotel the next morning, Pera was feeling glum due to the missing platypuses. Leah, Paige, and Kaylin decided to stop there before school to see how she was doing. Pera explained that she found green platypus hair in her diary and remembered that her platypuses are brown.

"Still," Kaylin replied, "we still can't find Kris Shah. She's a suspect."

"Girls," Pera giggled, "Kris Shah is my real name. I've been going by Pera since I was eight years old because of my deep love for the cute little creatures."

"That makes a lot of sense," Leah replied. "They don't call you Pera for nothing."

While the waiter was passing by, Perry could smell the yummy shrimp omelet. Pera felt a bit horrified by it because of a mistake she made last year: she accidentally gave her a barbie sandwich and didn't know about Tallie's food allergies. Suddenly, on his wrist communicator, Perry showed a video of Tallie's allergy attack, and the Klue Queens had a feeling that Tallie is the culprit.

That afternoon in the cafeteria, Tallie was sneaking around disguised as a lunch lady. She grabbed some spaghetti with her bare hands and asked Peter and his gang, "Care to do a little food fight?"

"Food fight!" Peter shouted as he tossed the apple juice at Principal Hopkins, much to her anger. She tried to tell the students to stop, but they didn't listen. The Klue Queens played along to so Tallie wouldn't suspect anything. Observing Tallie's face, Principal Hopkins knew that she didn't work at the school. Before Principal Hopkins grabbed her and escort her out, she grabbed a lit piece of dynamite, much to the students' horror. With her quick thinking, Tania got an idea. "Kirby, suck it up!" she shouted.

With one gulp, Kirby turned into Bomb Kirby. In a flash, Bomb Kirby used the bomb to trap Tallie. The bomb exploded, and out came an ice cream-covered Tallie.

"Well, well, well," Leah said as she, Tania, Pera, and Perry walked up. "Looks like we have our little platypus thief."

"How did you know it was me?" Tallie asked. "I planned my platypus-napping carefully."

"There was the the Free Halo Quality Trophy that Pera showed us," Tania recalled, "which she won for three years running until Pera won for her Platypus Party Palace. Then there was the recorded message of Dono Studios about a grumpy girl scaring saying that their all 'drongos', which is Australian for 'idiots'. And the shrimp omelet that we saw? Pera felt a little horrified by this, meaning that part of it was her fault."

"I wanted revenge for humiliation her on live television," Tallie groaned. "Your marsupials are always the stars. First I was the platypus protector after you gave me your barbie sandwiches...that had shrimp!"

"But that was an accident," Pera admitted. "I didn't know that you were allergic to shrimp."

"Hey, dudettes," Paige replied as she came up. "Y'all know that fighting and revenge doesn't solve your problems. It can cause hyperventilation, regret, and hate."

"Now where are the missing platypuses?" asked Tania. "Or else."

"Or else what?" Tallie asked.

Everyone glared at Tokkori and he knew what to do. "How about having a brain barbie with your brain?" Tokkori insulted, much to Tallie's dismay. "Or perhaps you should fall into a volcano to control that angry temper of yours." Tallie started feeling sad. Tokkori continued, "Or maybe you should become a Whale Song-Singing Double-Breasted Angle Hooper's lunch!"

"OKAY! OKAY!" shouted Tallie in fear. "They're at the Promising Pets Daycare. I paid the owner to hide the platypuses there until the show gets cancelled."

"Promising Pets Daycare?" Paige asked. "That's the name of the pet daycare/rescue center. I remember volunteering there a few times. Plus, the animals are hugely fond of Peter."

The Klue Queens and Issac were excused so they could help Pera reclaim her platypuses and explain the misunderstanding.

As for Tallie, she was punished for her kidnapping by cleaning up the food fight all by herself.

After school, Pera's Platypus Party Palace was going on at the school football field. As repayment for all the help, the Klue Queens became the substitute assistants for the show. Also, Perry, Tokkori, Rick, Swinger, and Kirby. After their act, Issac came onstage and told Pera that Alexus has something to tell her. Alexus came onstage as a magician and from a wave of his hand came a bouquet of lotuses. With tears of joy, Pera accepted Alexus's proposal. Leah thought that it would be a good promposal for Issac when Senior Prom comes.

In the audience, Peter remembered the many times of how he was jealous of Issac, but decided to get over it.
