CandyLuv99; Thanks for the review and I understand. I'm not sure if I'm going to kill Uru or let her try to redeem herself. If you have more OCs, they're welcomed.
Here's chapter forty, officially the longest book I have written. Enjoy!
It's been a few days and no sign of Nala. Her mother says she was sent out scouting for prey beyond the borders but the question is; why her? What makes Nala so special?
The angry roar of the king caught Nyah's attention. Soon a idea came to her, with a sly grin the creamy lion headed over to priderock and climbed the slope just in time to see the three hyenas; Shenzi, Banazi and Ed bolt out of Scar's cave that she remembers used to be where the pride slept together.
Closing her blue eyes, Nyah took a deep breath before entering the cave.
"I said get out!" the reddish-brown lion roared as he turned around to face a young, beautiful creamy pelted lioness. "If you came to complain about the hyenas and hunting, I can't help you."
Nyah grinned. This was prefect. He's riled up and stressed. "I'm actually here to help you my King.."
Scar turned and looked the lioness over. She reminded him of someone until it dawned of the insane lion. "Sarafina is your mother, correct?"
Nyah nodded before moving closer to brush her body against the older lion's. "Yes.. but I'm here for you. To.. please you."
Scar was actually speechless as his ex-mate's daughter ran her tail under his chin before smiling lustfully.
...
A Few Days Later
The clouds were gray, that was nothing considering that the whole sky and kingdom were gray and lifeless. Only they are crazy enough to stay. Many remembers the Pride Lands being bright and full of life, when a better King was in rule. Now it's no more than an extended version of the elephant graveyard.
A sneer caused many of the huntresses to snap stop what they were doing to face an unhappy queen.
"What is taking you idiots so long!" the white lioness sneered at the group of young lionesses. "Your king is hungry!"
"He's not our king as much as he's not your mate..."
Gwen turned her hate filled dark brown eyes on a young black lioness, Artem. She raised her paw to teach her some respect when lighting flared across the now extra dark sky followed by a roar that wasn't there king's.
The queen turned and bolted through the shadow lands with her followers at her tail.
Artem faced the other young lionesses when their attention was turned to a older dull orange lioness with wide black eyes.
"Ladies! You must come quickly, there's a fight at Pride Rock."
A light beige lioness look at the older lioness with wandering orange eyes, "What's going on, Kesi?"
The dull orange lioness took a deep breath before continuing. "Nala is back...and she brought back help."
~PP~
Sobbing was heard coming from the cave not too far away priderock.
Sarabi nuzzled her daughter. "I'll be okay, dear. We'll get through this."
"What's going on?" Malka asked coming in after hearing the sobs. The gold lion turned his orange eyes on his half-sister. "What's wrong with Starra?"
Wivu rolled her yellow eyes. "Nothing Malka. Starra's pregnant by your uncle."
Jesùs who was waiting for the outcome of his cousin's visit to Rafiki felt sick. He heard that his father mated with Starra, let his mother tell it, Starra seduced his father.
A low roar echoed through the grey air, bouncing off the cave walls. Everyone's attention soon went to outside the cave to see Nala running over.
A delighted look formed on Sarafina's face, the pale cream lioness quickly ran over and embraced her daughter.
"Oh Nala I was so worried!"
Nala sighed deeply before looking at everyone. "We need to get on priderock!"
Before any one could ask further a loud roar echoed through the grey land. Causing the pride to stand in a alert and exit the cave to gather with the other members.
"Sarabi!"
The dark beige, dark brown ear-rimmed lioness sighed before turned to head towards the rocky slope. To have her mother block her path.
"Sarabi, wait!" Asra pleaded.
Sarabi gave her mother a resurring nuzzle before sighing. "I have to go. If I don't...it will be worst than it already is."
Asra sighed before stepping aside before watching her daughter walked through some dead bushes.
Sarabi walked through a line of hyenas. Some of them snap at her heels. She only glares disdainfully at them. Once at top she was greeted by a fuming Scar.
"Yes, Scar?"
Scar sneered before he began to pace. "Where is your hunting party? They're not doing their job."
Sarabi took a deep breath before speaking as calmly as she could. She couldn't believe this psychopath was once her friend. Where did that cub gone? "Scar, there is no food. The herds have moved on."
The reddish-brown lion growled. "No! You're just not looking hard enough!"
Sarabi sighed before speaking once again. "It's over. There is nothing left. We have only one choice. We must leave Pride Rock." she mentioned leaving because the cubs that her daughter and the some of the young lionesses are expecting can't grow here. And she'll do anything to make sure that doesn't happen.
The tyrant king glared at his deceased brother's mate with a toothy snarl. "We're not going anywhere."
Sarabi's orange eyes widen in shock and horror. "Then you have sentenced us to death."
Scar walks off a bit with a not a care in the world. "Then so be it."
Sarabi glared at the bit younger male with a disgusted glare. "You can't do that!"
Scar held his head proudly as he growled. "I'm the king. I can do whatever I want."
Sarabi snarled at her brother-in-law. "If you were half the king Mufasa was you would nev -"
Scar snarls as hits Sarabi, knocking her to the ground.
...
"I'm ten times the king Mufasa was!"
Simba had been watching from behind some of the rocks on priderock. He was waiting for the right moment to enter when the moment came when Scar hit his mother. Sending the dark beige beige lioness across the ground.
Simba growled, that his mother Scar his paw on and that can't go, he refuse to let his uncle get away with that.
Simba glared at his uncle before leaping out and ran to his mother.
Scar instantly mistaked the new lion as his deceased brother and is completely frightened.
"Mufasa? No. You're dead."
Simba ignores him and nudge the down lioness.
Sarabi moans lowly as she opened her eyes and like Scar mistakes the male looking at her as her mate. "Mufasa?"
Simba sighed and shook his head. "No. It's me."
Sarabi looked in the her deceased mate's look a like's orange eyes to see her eyes. "Simba? You're alive?" she frowned with confusion. "How can that be?"
"It doesn't matter; I'm home."
Scar was just as confused as Sarabi was. "Simba...?" then he came to realize his nephew was back. "Simba! I'm a little surprised to see you," giving the hyenas above him an angry look. "alive..."
On the word "alive," Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed gulp audibly and slink into the shadows. Simba glares at his uncle as he moved towards him.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip you apart."
Backing into a wall, Scar looks at the golden lion with fear in his green eyes as he made different excuses. "Oh, Simba, you must understand. The pressures of ruling a kingdom..."
Simba growled lowly. "...Are no longer yours. Step down, Scar."
The reddish-brown lion nodded while waving a paw. "Oh, oh, ye - Well, I would, heh, naturally, heh - however, there is one little problem. You see them?" Simba followed one of Scar's claws up to see the horde of hyenas on the rocks above. "They think I'M king."
Nala appears with the rest of the pride and the guard. Jesús along with Desta helped Sarabi up.
Nala glares at the older lion with a growl. "Well, we don't. Simba is the rightful king."
Simba turns from Nala and the pride to his uncle. "The choice is yours, Scar. Either step down or fight."
Scar sighed as he walked by Simba and over to the assembled pride. "Oh, must it all end in violence? I'd hate to be responsible for the death of a family member. Wouldn't you agree, Simba?"
Simba growled at his uncle. "That's not gonna work, Scar. I've put it behind me."
Scar smiled before looking at the pride, mainly Uru, Sarabi and Starra. "Eh, but what about your faithful subjects? Have they put it behind them?"
Nala looked from the tyrant to her friend. "Simba, what is he talking about?"
Scar smiles delighted at it all. "Ahh, so you haven't told them your little secret. Well, Simba, now's your chance to tell them. Tell them who is responsible for Mufasa's death!"
At Scar's last line the lionesses and lions were startled before all are concentrating on Simba.
Simba sighed before taking a step forward. "I am."
Many of the pride was tooken back as well as Nala.
Minus Uru and Asra. They shared a glance before they looked at that broken grandson. And their confession died at the gulit in his orange eyes.
Sarabi approaches her son, slowly. She doesn't believe that her prince is responsible. Sarabi spoke with a grief stricken voice. "It's not true. Tell me it's not true?"
Simba sighed regretfully. "It's true."
"You see! He admits it! Murderer!"
Lightning crashes behind Scar's head as Sarabi backed away to the others snarling at the reddish-brown lion. She doesn't believe this load of bull he's giving.
"No. It was an accident."
Scar walks around and around Simba as he accuses him; Starra and Tama along with Malka growled at their uncle's every word.
"If it weren't for you, Mufasa would still be alive. It's your fault he's dead; do you deny it?"
Simba looked at his mother, his siblings, his grandmothers and Nala before sighing heavily. "No."
Jesús zoned out as he tried to put everything together. Of course he wasn't born that time but from what he heard, Simba couldn't of possibly killed Mufasa. He was just a cub. The young reddish-brown, black mane lion was knocked out of his thoughts by lightning striking below priderock.
Jesús' dark brown eyes widen as the lightening ignited a fire. Also to his and everyone's complete horror, Simba was dangling from the peak.
"Simba!" was what Jesús heard Sarabi and Nala shout.
Sarabi watched with fearful eyes as Scar and Simba exchanged words. Sarabi nor the pride could hear but they were most surprised when Simba leapt from the peak and pinned the reddish-brown lion. Everyone gasped as Simba growled with fury.
"Tell them the truth!"
They all held their breaths wondering what the truth was. Sarabi deep down had a bad feeling but hoped that her mate was really killed by a accident. But as they waited, the truth came out from Scar.
"I killed Mufasa!"
