Cedar's Hospital
Doing her usual rounds Leah took down notes from visiting, seeing patients, asking them if they needed anything. But at the same time she still couldn't believe that Mindy cheated on her dad with some other guy that she didn't know. Now her dad wasn't perfect himself and made a lot of mistakes, even ones that cost him his marriage, relationship with her mother Mel. They weren't together anymore and were with other people, her mom with Cyrus and her dad with Mindy but what Mindy did was just plain wrong. Leah didn't know the real reason she was doing this, but it wouldn't matter. In the end Mindy hurt her father, who's still recovering from his injuries, but a part of her wanted to tell Rick of what she's been up too. Then again, another part of her is telling herself to back off and let Mindy tell him when the time was right. Finishing her rounds, Leah goes back to the nurses desk before hearing her cell phone ring. Taking it out and placing the folders on the counter, she saw a text from her dead asking how everything was going but before she was about to answer, another text came. It was from Mindy as Leah glared at the text, asking Leah to meet her somewhere before she shook her head, then Rosita came to the desk.
Leah - "That bitch"
Rosita - "Everything okay?"
Leah was startled when he heard Rosita's voice and almost dropped her phone before catching it, then putting it in her pocket. The screen of her phone or the phone itself would just brake, as Leah would have no other choice to get a new cell phone
Leah - *Nervously smiles* "Oh me? Everything is just peachy Rosita, how are you?"
Rosita - "Everything isn't peachy Leah, what's going on?"
Leah - "Come with me"
Leah looked around and then took Rosita's hand before they went to one of the break rooms. Closing the door behind her, Leah was glad no one is here for the moment. Rosita though wondered what her friend was up to or what trouble she caused since sometimes Leah can be in her moments, good or bad.
Rosita - "Okay, Leah, what's going on? What's wrong? Tell me?
Leah - "Mindy….she slept with someone else behind my dad's back"
Rosita - "She did what? How do you know?"
Leah - "The day of the super bowl party that dad had over his house. Remember when Mindy accidentally cut herself then ran upstairs? Before that she snapped on Holly and answered the phone, I went upstairs to check in on her. I was about to go in to the room but then Mindy was on her cell phone talking to someone named Sonni, then mentioned their affair they were having"
Rosita - "Oh Leah, I am so sorry to hear that, what else happened after that?"
Leah - "So am I Rosita, mom found me listening to the conversation but asked if everything was okay. Which of course, I gave her a yes answer, but Mindy for sure has been cheating on dad and I don't know what to do next. No matter what happens…dad is not going to take this well"
Leah looked down sad, leaning back against the door in defeat before Rosita hugged her friend. Leah thought that her dad and Mindy had a real fair shot this time after tying the knot together. They were married for now eleven years, dad hasn't cheated on Mindy in the past but now Mindy is doing it and it wasn't right or fair to Leah's father. She knew what it was like to have a family when her parents got married together, everything was so right in the world before it came crashing down. The lies that Rick got himself involved in, especially after the scandal that broke out of his role of Ross Marler's plan crashing down partly because of Rick too despite Phillip being the mastermind behind it. The real kicker was when Rick cheated behind Mel's back and that's what caused the divorce to happen. Leah never was the same after that and made up being attacked so that her parents could get back together. But it couldn't work and Leah understood that people like her father were not perfect. Mindy wasn't perfect too, she still hurt Leah's dad, so that couldn't go away. But what was Leah going to do next? Tell her father or just keep her mouth shut? That is what she still wondered despite everything she knows thus far…
Springfield University
Leaning back against the wall near the journalism class he's about to take before it begins, Zach Spaulding, the son of Phillip and Harley needed some alone time to himself. Thinking and processing everything that happened to Lizzie, Zach couldn't imagine what losing Lizzie would do to the family if they couldn't find her for a very long time. Zach has only been around his family since last summer and while he loved them, Zach could feel that they may break a part if she turned up dead. And it may all start with his father Phillip, whom he loved so much as a son and didn't want him to do anything dumb if something bad happened to her. Zach knew all about his father's misdeeds and what he did, Phillip never wanted his children to be like him but they along with Zach didn't want him to loose control. The Ultimate Force was still around in Port Charles, they were a threat to the Spaulding's so Phillip made sure to have his men keep an eye on Zach despite not needing it at all. It didn't matter, Phillip was going to protect him, but at what cost? Not paying attention, Jason who was walking down the hall way noticed Zach before he smiled a bit. He could understand everything going on when it came to losing the people he loved, so Jason could help out.
Jason - "Hey Zach, what's up?"
At first Zach didn't pay any attention to Jason before he saw the guy and smiled a bit himself. Rubbing the back of his head, Zach picks up his bag and looks at Jason, who hoped the guy was okay after what his family's been through.
Zach - "Sorry, I didn't hear you at first Jason, what were you saying?"
Jason - "Never mind man, it's okay, we all heard about Lizzie and seeing you here, I thought maybe you could use some support"
Zach - "Support? I don't mind that at all, I just wish I could do more to help Jason. My family may be spiraling out of control and there may be nothing that can be done to stop it"
Jason - "How so?"
Zach - "To sum it all up, all hell may brake loose in the family if my sister is gone for good. Dad may loose it and form his own brand of justice, maybe even going after the SOB responsible for this"
Jason puts his hand on Zach shoulder in comfort, showing his support to him as Zach smiled. He never thought Zach
Jason - "The only thing you can do is support your father, your family, they need you Zach. Now if Phillip tries to go after the person responsible then talk some sense into him, get him to see what he's doing may be wrong"
Zach - "You know what? You're right Jason, hopefully dad or anyone in our family doesn't do anything stupid"
Jason - "How about the two of us go inside for class? I heard the new teacher for journalism will be here in any moment, though we don't know who is it though?"
Zach - "Sure, hopefully whoever the person is, will be a step up from the substitute teacher we've been having the past couple of months. He was horrible like the paint that dry's up on the wall"
Both me laugh and smile at each other as Zach appreciated Jason being there for him during this hard time. Going into the classroom, the other students who were here for the journalism class were talking, chatting with one another. Some of them wondered who the new teacher was going to be, Clarissa and Jude both came into the class room behind Zack and Jason before they all sat down before taking out what they needed for today's class.
Jude - "Well today's the big day, who do you think our new teacher is going to be?"
Clarissa - "I got no clue but anyone that's on the same level as Fletcher was is better than anything else. I feel so bad for him though to loose his wife after she died"
Jude - "It makes me feel appreciative of having family with me. No matter what they always have my back, just like your family has your back"
Jason - "Let's just hope this teacher isn't a lame duck or non-energetic like the last one who was a complete snooze fest"
Zach - "I second that Jason"
Clarissa was about to say something before the door to the classroom opened and Holly walks inside with a man behind her, that wasn't familiar to many of the students. But to Clarissa, from what her grandmother told her about the man in the past, she knew who he was right off the bat. Touching Jude's shoulder, Jude also noticed the man
Clarissa - "Nick McHenry?"
Jude - "Who? I never hear of the guy before in my life"
Holly - "Excuse me students, if I may have your attention, welcome to your journalism class. As you may or may not know by now Professor Reade is taking a leave of absence after the death of his wife Misses Reade. We wish him the very best and expect him to come back but in the meantime, let me introduce you to your NEW instructor…Nick McHenry"
The students in the classroom along with Clarissa, Jude, Zach and Jason all clapped as Nick waved at all of them before he smiled. Nick felt great to back in Springfield and despite his mother's passing, also the upcoming funeral, he knew this was going to be something to look forward too. Teaching these students was going to be a new experience for him since he has never taught in classes throughout his entire life. You would just see him on the next plane to his destination to report on a big story but also take time to visit his family. Nick hasn't seen that much of his mother since the last time he was in Springfield for the holidays since he was busy working on more stories but didn't get the chance to speak to Alexandra more. She would be definitely proud of her boy taking the next step in his life, as the other students continued to clap for him until the applause died down. Holly allowed Nicky to say a few words before she left the room so that the man can now teach journalism to the students. Clarissa was still shocked to see him and felt that this man knew more about journalism then maybe Fletcher, but that's over thinking things. One thing was for sure, Nick McHenry is back in Springfield and this time he's staying for good.
The Marler Residence
Ross was in his old office at home, the one office he always worked in when it came to cases, etc. was on the computer looking up information about his death. The conversation Phillip and Blake had from an earshot of what Ross heard had his curious about what happened when his death occurred. Of course, when he got his memories back the man was still processing everything that he missed out on, but no one, not even his wife Blake told him about the truth from his so called 'death'. A part of him hoped that someone like Phillip or anyone else in the town he loved and care about wasn't involved in his 'death'. But to his unfortunate surprise, Ross saw an article and the title of that article was 'Phillip Spaulding, Rick Bauer, Responsible For The Death Of Ross Marler' and he closed his eyes before looking down in sadness, wishing this wasn't true, but he had to read further into the article. Clicking on it, Ross read the entire article from beginning to end and the man felt nothing but anger, rage, humiliation…everything you can feel when you know someone you care about, two people who meant the most turned their backs on you. Ross got up and immediately picked up his computer before throwing it to the ground.
Ross - "Son of a bitch!"
A steaming, angry Ross ran his hands through his grey hair taking a deep breath and closed his eyes. Opening his eyes, Ross couldn't believe he did that to his old computer which was still on surprisingly before looking up. Deep down he felt like throwing up or just doing whatever he could to express his disgust in what he was reading.
Ross - "Blake!?"
Removing his glasses, Ross put them down on the desk and shook his head. None of this made any sense to him, how could Phillip to do this to him? His nephew of all people, who was turning his back on people during that time in his life where Phillip was a threat to everyone in Springfield. But Rick, why him? Why help Phillip instead of turning the man in to the authorities so he could get help? Blake, who just finished cleaning up the house heard her husband's voice before racing to his office. When she got there, Blake was shocked to see his computer on the floor, the look on his face said it all…Ross was hurt.
Blake - "Ross, honey, what's wrong?"
Ross - "Don't you honey me Blake, it's true that Phillip was the man responsible for the plane going down. Rick assisted him correct?"
Blake - *Sigh* "Ross, I am so-"
Ross - "Answer me Blake! Is it true or not!?"
Blake - "Yes Ross! Yes it's true, Phillip is the one who was mostly responsible for your so called demise. Rick played a part in it too. I…I am sorry Ross, I wish there was something to be done so you wouldn't feel this way"
Ross - "You knew about this and didn't tell me Blake?"
Blake - "Ross you just got back, I didn't want you to do…anything dumb or stupid to Rick and Phillip. We just got you back and the last thing we wanted was for you to take the law in your own hands"
Ross - "We?"
Ross - "The children, they know, everyone in Spring knows, so does Dinah. None of them wanted to tell you Ross, please understand why"
Ross covered his mouth and seethed of everything that was being told to him before leaving his office. Walking past Blake, she went after Ross, making sure he wasn't going to do anything dumb or stupid at this moment since he was angry and rightfully so. How could Phillip still do something like this to him after everything Ross has done to help since the first day he found out that Phillip was his nephew? Could Phillip be this diabolical back then? What if he is now? Phillip wanted to give him space since Ross just got his memory back, but damn it, why couldn't he be man enough to tell him the truth? Ross didn't have to find out on an article for the main newspaper of Springfield, he should have been told this by either Phillip or Rick. And Rick, that sleazy bastard, first he slept with Blake and now this, what the hell did Phillip do to Rick in order for the man to do Phillip's bidding? Did he pay him off? Threatened the Bauer family? Going to the living room, Ross sat down and slammed his foot on the floor, still angry before Blake caught up to him. Burying his face in his hands, Ross felt like pulling all of his hair out from the revelation of both men's actions. This is why Blake didn't want Ross to find out about the truth but he needed to know and eventually if everyone gave Ross their space or if Ross took it easy, it wouldn't happen this way.
Cedar's Hospital
Rosita felt so bad for her friend, who was going through her own troubles when it came to Leah's family. She could never imagine cheating on Rafe and if she did, Rosita didn't deserve Rafe's love. Natalia would of went after Rosita because she loved her son so much, she didn't want to see him get hurt. Heck, if Rosita and Rafe had a baby of their own who grew into a responsible young man and was hurt by his significant other cheating then there would be hell to pay. That's why Rosita can sympathize with Leah and not judge her or her family. The Bauer's have been good to everyone in Springfield and seeing one of them hurt over what Rick's wife is doing was just….well it sucks. Hugging her friend, she allowed Leah to move away from herself and sat down at the table thinking of what to do next. Rosita sat next to her and put her hand on her shoulder, comforting her, seeing how much she was worried about her father. Leah though must of thought that Rick and Mindy's love was the real deal but after what Mindy did, the love she had for her dad was a farce. What was going to do now though? Still tell her dad or keep it a secret until all of it blows up in Rick AND Mindy's faces.
Rosita - "How are you feeling right now Leah? Talk to me"
Leah - "I feel like everything is going to fall a part for dad and Mindy, that's why and the stupid whore had to put her digs into another man"
Rosita - "And that's not your fault Leah, that's on Mindy to face the must. All you can do is support your dad with whatever he wants to do next"
Leah - "After what happened to mom and dad when they were together, then divorced. I accepted it and now, the same thing could happen to dad and Mindy"
Rosita - "You said could Leah, your dad could change his mind and stay with Mindy in the end. What would you do if that happens?"
Leah - "Then I would honor and respect dad's decision, as for Mindy though if she hurts dad one more time-"
Before Leah could finish that sentence the door flung open and Mel came in hot. Rosita and Leah could see that she was upset about something that just happened recently or hours ago when whatever took place, but they didn't know anything yet.
Leah - "Mom, are you alright? What happened?"
Mel - "No I am not Leah, the hospital is going to cut back on staff so people are losing their jobs starting today"
Rosita - "When did you hear that?"
Mel - "Just now and it makes me sick how that man Burke can just take away someone's career like that. Of course, we have to save Cedar's Hospital financially and make cuts where it matters but he's also cutting back on supplies for the staff too"
Leah - "That's insane, he can't do that"
Rosita - "He's the chief of staff Leah and can do whatever he wants, no matter how any of us like it or not"
Mel - "Like hell we are, if this keeps up then the people who've been let go will protests to make their voices heard over this. It's not the end"
Michael - "Did I just hear someone say my name?"
Leah, Rosita, and Leah see Michael Burke come into the break room with a lady they've never seen before. She has to be brand new and if she was then it would show how much of a coward Michael was of giving someone like the newbie a job.
Leah - "We were just…talking about you Doctor Burke"
Michael - "I…well I hope I wasn't intruding. Anyway I was just showing our new psychiatrist for the hospital in Doctor Janet Raines. Janet, these are our two nurses in Rosita and Leah, also this is Doctor Bourdeu"
Janet - "It's nice to meet all of you and I look forward to helping you guys out with anything you need. Don't be afraid to call me"
Mel - "Yeah, I will make sure to remember that"
Mel left the room with a huff as Michael and Janet looked at her when she left the room before back at Rosita and Leah.
Janet - "Was it something I said?"
Leah - "Don't worry about it Janet, my mom can be a little too stressful at times. Welcome to Cedar's Hospital, I am Leah"
Rosita - "I'm Rosita, were both nurses like Doctor Burke just said and we look forward to your time here with us"
Janet - "Thank you, I appreciate it, looking forward of working with you all"
Janet shook Leah and Rosita's hands before she left the room with Michael so that he could show her more Cedars Hospital. Leah and Rosita also left the room so they can complete their shift for today while Mel was at the nurses station of the hospital, still fuming inside while looking at notes on her patients. She couldn't focus too much thanks to Mel running into Michael and the new psychiatrist of the hospital in Janet Reno. It was nothing against Janet and what she's going to bring to Cedars, it was just that Michael had already cut other doctors, other nurses, employees of the hospital and now he was bringing in someone new like Janet. Someone else from the hospital could still be here right now working to save lives, and letting people go will lessen the chance of someone else doing all they can to help. It wasn't fair, so if things didn't change Mel would have to take a stand. She just wasn't a doctor, but also a lawyer too that helps people bring justice, but what else could Mel do? Mel had to be smart when thinking of her next options, but as her pager goes off, she takes it off and looks at it before seeing someone being brought in thanks to EMTs. Mel, Rosita and Leah start to help out as the grind continues at Cedar's Hospital.
Springfield University
Once class was dismissed by Nick, the students got up from the desk and started to gather their belongings. For Nick, today's a day he would never forget, one where he would for the rest of the semester or whenever Fletcher returned from his hiatus, teach students the style of journalism and everything else. It felt good to hear each of the students talk about media and what else affects journalism, as one of the students in Clarissa was starting to like Nick, not only what he brings to the classroom but also what he'll do to make each of the students better when one of them or all are out in the field of journalism. Nick offered any of the students to talk to him about whatever was on their mind as she wanted to be the first in line to talk to him,
Jude, Jason and Zach liked Nick too, it's just that for some of them, journalism wasn't their forte so to speak. Nothing against Nick but they needed the class for credits, which others are here in this class for too so they can get the credits at the end of the semester. While Jason, Zach and Jude were gathering everything, Clarissa made sure she had all he stuff and no one else was talking to Nick, who started to pack up, she was the first one to walk up as Clarissa cleared her throat.
Clarissa - "Mister McHenry?"
Nick - "Yes? *Nick turns around and smiles* "Oh, miss Marler, it's good to see you again. I take it you enjoyed today's first class?"
Clarissa - "Yes I did sir. I thought you taught out class very well and even for the first day"
Nick - "Well, it's only a taste of things to come Clarissa and please, call me Nick if you like"
Clarissa - "Okay then Nick, but I am glad your filling in for Fletcher. I just feel so bad for him right now since his wife passed away"
Nick - "And she my mother too, we weren't always perfect as mother and son but at the end of the day, Alexandra Spaulding is someone who'll always be in my heart"
Clarissa - "Oh and let me introduce you to three more people, this is my brother Jason, my friend Jude and my other friend Zach. Guys, this is Nick"
Zach - "We know who he is Clarissa, the man's my uncle"
Nick - "Correct Zach, you and I have a lot of catching up to do you know? How's your father doing? I'm so sorry to hear about Lizzie"
Zach - "Thanks um…well you know dad, he's keeping himself busy these days but everyone in my family is hanging in there"
Nick - "Good to hear Zach, tell them and your father I said hello. I'll have to stop by the mansion to see how they're holding up myself"
Jude - "Nice to meet you Nick but I need to get going to my next class. Looking forward of seeing you around the campus from now on"
Jason - "I got to bounce too, nice to see you too Professor McHenry"
Nick - "Remember, just call me Nick from now on, okay? Have a great day you guys"
Clarissa - "See you later Nick"
Jude, Jason, Zach, and Clarissa left the room before Nick watched them leave as he shook his head,. Nick could tell that one of them, well mostly Clarissa was going to have a great career in journalism, media, whatever they thrive in. Taking his bag, he left the classroom before he bumped into Holly who had her phone in her hand.
Nick - "Oh soot, I am so sorry Holly, didn't see you coming there for a second"
Holly - "It's fine Nick, how did your first day of teaching the class go?"
Nick - "It went very well as you would expect Holly, all of the students were respectful, kind, even told me things of what they don't like in today's journalism. Every one of them showed passing when speaking of the kind of things they want to see moving forward in this class, so it should be fun moving forward"
Holly - "I'm glad to hear of that Nick. You know Fletcher would be proud of you if he was here watching you take over"
Nick - "Of course he would, speaking of Fletcher, how is he holding up?"
Holly - "That's what I was trying to do Nick, get in contact with him but he hasn't been answering his phone lately. Last time I spoke to Meg, who's in town by the way, said that father just needed time by himself after they spoke to each other too"
Nick - "But…you feel that something may be wrong with him?"
Holly - "Nick, I don't want to intrude or disturb him you know? Sometimes when you grieve for someone it takes time to go through the process, so hopefully Fletcher is okay, wherever he is"
Nick - "If anything happens Fletcher will be the first one to call us or Meg. I have his phone number so I may give him a call later on, how about we go over to the food court and have some lunch Holly?
Holly - *Smiles* "That sounds great Nick/ I can also fill you in on what's been going on in Springfield but I am sure you already know some of it by now"
Nick nodded and smiled as the two walked down the hallway then left the building for journalism so they can go to the food court for lunch. While Holly was glad she brought Nick on to take Fletcher's place, she was still worried about the father of their daughter. It was well known that Fletcher was not someone that people think of as invincible. The man had his flaws and knew he was far from perfect, which everyone who worked with Fletcher or knew the man best understood that. When Holly went through her own personal hell and kidnapped all those children twenty plus years ago, Fletcher could have been there at her side when Holly drank, suffered depressed, but he didn't do that. Instead of he took Meg away from her for good reasons, so all Holly wanted to do was just be at Fletcher's side and help him get through this. But the only person who could get help for Fletcher is Fletcher himself, Holly hoped he wouldn't do anything stupid at the same time. Nick on the other hand knew the man would be okay, but again, this is Fletcher were talking about. So when they got to the food court, Nick took out his phone and started texting Fletcher, giving him a simple message before he sent, hopefully Fletcher responds.
The Marler Residence
Ross sat there still in the living room processing what he just found out, what Blake confirmed, but the man who was once a District Attorney, Congressman, couldn't understand was, why? Phillip was on the brink of losing everything if he came back with the children at that time. He would have been fired from Spaulding, lost his job, and never to be trusted again. Hell, Phillip would have been committed to a psyche ward outside of Springfield that's padded up so the man won't get out or hurt anyone. But to do something like that to him, to cause the plane to go down, was just sheer stupidity. And Rick, that son of a bitch helped Phillip too? After all what that man, Ross and Blake went through with Jason, Kevin, you would think he wouldn't do anything stupid, now this. Blake watched him from the entrance of the living room, wishing she could do something to take away the pain and betrayal he felt as of right now. This wasn't fair to Ross, to know that the two people who were like family to him, betrayed the guy and not think of the consequences for what's next. Well that may change or may not depending on what Ross wants to do next, as he stands up and rubs the back of his head including his neck.
Blake - "Ross, are you okay?"
Ross - "Does it look like I am okay Blake? I just found out my bastard of a nephew and the man who used to be Jason's father turned their backs on me for no reason"
Blake - "Ross, I am so sorry, when I found out, when we found out about this we couldn't believe it ourselves of what they did"
Ross - "How did you find out?"
Blake - "Me, Dinah, Gus, Harley, Mallet, Jeffrey and I went to San Gabriel to investigate. Surprisingly, Alan and Beth were there to renew their vows, Rick was there too. This was two years after Phillip died"
Ross - "Alan and Beth were married at one point, then renewed their vows? What the hell?"
Blake - "Long story, they fell in love at one point but we all know it's hard to please and love Alan Spaulding most of the time"
Ross - *Rolls eyes* "Never mind that, go ahead Blake"
Blake - "We found out that eventually Phillip survived his death when he was shot and hided out somewhere. You hired a Private Investigator to find Phillip right?"
Ross - "Yes, that's correct, I did hire someone to look for him but how did Phillip know?"
Blake - "Eventually he paid someone to sabotage the plane you were supposed to go in. Phillip faked his death but eventually returned at Harley's wedding with Gus. The man wasn't well Ross, your nephew was sick, unstable, he had to stay away from everyone"
Ross - "What else did he want Rick to do?"
Blake - "Phillip wanted Rick to lie and say Rick was in the casket, if he did that then he wouldn't go after Jude"
Ross - "Rick…you two little…*groan*…I guess that didn't work out well right?"
Blake - "No it didn't, when Jeffrey called to get information, we found out the name of the man who paid mechanic…it was Rick"
At this point, Ross was silent and never said anything but seethed in anger from what Blake but then realized what happened before his plane took off.
Ross - "Oh my god…the plane wasn't supposed to take off and I took my private plane"
Blake - "It was hard to believe at first but Rick and Phillip both knew it was a mistake Ross. They never wanted you dead, Rick almost lost everything but in the end he paid the price. Mel divorced him, and nearly lost his job but Beth fought for Rick to keep it at Cedar's. In the end they were wrong and feel bad for what happened"
Ross - "That's a bunch of bull Blake, in the end I did die and had some whacko doctor take care of me for all this time in Burke. Everything, you, the kids, our family, was taken from us because of those three idiots"
Ross stood up and left the room before Blake, worried about what he was going to do next, followed him. The man was heading straight for the door until she got in his way and stopped him, afraid of what might happen if he sees Phillip or Rick or both at the same time.
Blake - "Where are you going?"
Ross - "Get out of my way Blake"
Blake - "No Ross"
Ross - "Blake, just get-"
Blake - "I said NO Ross, you're angry and you're upset, I don't blame you. But the last thing we all need is for Frank to call any us and explain why you're at the police station in handcuffs because you wanted to take Phillip and Ross out!
Ross - "Blake, all I want is to hear it from them and tell me why they felt the need to betray me. Don't I deserve to at least get answers from Rick and Phillip?"
The doorbell rang in the house as Blake looked at the door then back at Ross before she puts a finger up.
Blake - "Stay here and whoever it is I will get him or her to leave, then we'll plan ahead what we'll do next, okay Ross?"
Ross slowly nodded before Blake kissed him softly on the side of her lips as she stepped away to answer the door. It was obvious that Ross is still upset at everything he just heard from his wife due to all about the plane crash, who's responsible, etc. but the man felt so blindsided by Rick and Phillip. These were two men who he knew so well or so he thought he did but now, he didn't know how to feel about them as of now. Heck, Ross never considered Phillip a threat to him, he would never go after Blake, the kids or even his own uncle. Ross didn't know if he could trust Phillip or Rick again after this, while Blake opens the door and there was Phillip at the other side. With her eyes went wide, she tries to tell Phillip that this wasn't the best time for him to come since he was here to visit Ross, but it was already too late. Ross heard Phillip's voice and before you knew it, Ross walked up, moved Blake out of the way and punched his nephew right in the face causing Phillip to fall back a bit. He caught himself but was taken by surprise of what Ross just did, touching his face he felt pain before looking up at his uncle who became enraged with him. Blake was shocked and disappointed in her husband on how it came down to this between the two men who are family to one another.
Ross - "Stand up you son of a bitch and fight!"
END OF EPISODE 2
