Matt POV

Bell, the pack and Klaus ran off to do a sweep. The rest of us stayed behind to gather all the limbs and body parts, put them in a huge pile to burn.

After some time, we finished and watched them burn to ash.

"We should head back. I really don't want to deal with a pissed of princess." said Damon. I'd agree with him if it weren't my Bell going after them. I can't just let her do this without me.

"You guys go ahead, I'm going after Bell. I refuse to let her do this without my help. We all pledged our loyalty to her Damon.

I know she'll be pissed. But I'm going to help her."

"Damn it, Matt. This is not a time to play hero. If anything happened to you, she'd have our heads and kill us all!" he exclaimed.

"No she wouldn't. We're her family. Besides, nothing will happen to me if we go after her. We should all stick together, Damon."

"Guys! Stop arguing. I hate to say this, Salvatore, but Matt is right. We pledged our loyalty to her. We said we'd die for her. I know we all meant that.

So a pissed off princess is better than a dead princess." replied Dean.

And so we all took off to find Bell and the bitch duo.

Bella's POV

I hope you know, Luna. The others will follow after is as soon as the army is burned. said Sam.

I growled. They better not. I swear, I will kill every single one of them for putting themselves in more danger.

You wouldn't, Luna. And we all know it. replied Pauly. I turned around and nipped his tail as he passed.

Shut up, Paul!

We continued running through the woods, following their scents. Seems like they're headed for the Lockwood's.

This is not good, Sam.

I know, if anything happens to Carol or the Mayor, Tyler could accidentally kill someone and trigger his wolf.

I pushed myself faster. We're coming Carol and Richard.

Maria POV

Victoria and I had long since ran from the fight. We are currently at the Mayor's holding him and his wife hostage.

The Mayor smells strongly of wolf. So we chained him underground in a cell we found. His wife in the cell with him.

"Chaining me, won't help. I only turn during the full moon, anyway." he said.

"It was just in case. That way, you can't try and kill us. We're going to use you and your wife. Our plan A failed. So, we're going with plan B." I explained.

"And how exactly will holding us help?"

"Well, since you're a werewolf, I'm guessing your son Tyler is too. He just hasn't triggered his wolf yet. It would be tragic if something happened to his dear parents for that to happen. Now wouldn't it?" I asked with mock pity.

"Do whatever you have to do to me. But please let my wife go? She has nothing to do with this." he begged.

"I don't think I will." I said as I struck her.

Bella POV

We arrived at the Lockwood's. We didn't hear any heartbeats inside, but I phased back and ran inside to check anyway. I couldn't find them anywhere.

Fuck! I thought.

I ran back outside and phased to my wolf again.

They're not here! We gotta find them! I exclaimed.

We will, Luna. said Sam.

Let's go! I ordered.

And we ran, following a new scent trail of the bitch duo, mixed in with Carol and Richards.

Matt POV

We continued running after the pack, following some of the vamps as we hitched wife's on their backs.

Under any other circumstances, I'd be humiliated.

We would up at Tyler's.

"I don't hear any heartbeats." said Damon.

"Fuck, my parents man!" yelled Tyler.

"I found a new trail. It smells of Bells and the pack and faintly of the bitch duo. They're following it. Let's go!" said Jasper

And so we were off, following the new trail.

We're coming baby. I thought.

Maria POV

Victoria and I were beating on The Mayor and his wife when the shape-shifters and the Original Hybrid showed up.

We stopped and held them I'm front of us.

"Let them go! They have nothing to do with this!" the mangy mutt yelled at us. Princess Bitch was starting to get on my nerves.

"Sorry, Princess. We're using them to trigger poor Tyler's wolf. If his mother were to die, maybe he'd kill someone and trigger his wolf. Then he'll join us.

I must say, he is kind of cute." I instigated.

The bitch growled at me.

"Tyler would never join you. He's our friend. He'd never turn his back on us. And using his parents, I'm sure he'll kill you first."

"We shall see." I said.

Matt POV

We reached an underground tunnel and found the pack along with the bitch duo. They had the Mayor chained up in a cell with Carol as they were holding them hostage.

"Damn it guys! I said to go to the Boarding House!" exclaimed Bell.

"Mom! Dad! Let them go, bitches!" yelled Tyler.

"Come over here and make us baby Lockwood." taunted Maria.

Tyler stepped forward, I held him back.

"Don't Ty. If you accidentally kill your Mom, you'll trigger your wolf. We'll handle this." I reasoned.

"I have to save them Matt!"

"We will, Ty."

Maria started laughing.

"Oh come on Tyler. Come and get us."

Before I could stop him again, he grabbed the sword I had from me and lunged for Maria, and accidentally stabbed his mother. She fell to the ground. Maria joined Victoria's side by the Mayor.

"No!" Tyler screamed. "Mom! Please don't die! Please, I'm so sorry, please don't die!" he cried.

"Tyler," she breathed. "Take care of your father."

And then she died.

Tyler and the Mayor started crying harder.

The Mayor started struggling with the chains. He broke free and turned to strike at Maria, she ripped his heart out.

"Dad!" screamed Tyler. He lunged at the duo and we joined him as they tried to escape.

The pack and Klaus phased and started tearing into Maria and Victoria, effectively ripping them apart.

Tyler's eyes met mine and they flashed yellow before returning back to normal.

He fell to the ground sobbing, I ran to him and knelt in front of him as he cried on my shoulder.

"I'm so sorry Tyler." I said.

What else could I say? He just lost both his parents and accidentally killed his own mother.

The pack drug Maria and Victoria's body parts outside and burned them. I continued to console Matt as best as I could. Bell and our friends joined us.

After a while, Tyler stood. I tried to help him and he shook me off and rushed out of the tunnel.

"Just let him grieve and cool off, babe. He needs time. He did just lose his parents." said Bell. I nodded and we walked out along with the others.

"I just have one question. Where did Lilith go?"
