Out of the six realms, Outworld is the unkindest. Although life is possible, resources were not always available; as such, he who could keep control over something became a powerful overlord for those who needed it. Survival of the fittest at its finest.
Many races fought for control over the resources of the others. The Centaur tribes, the Shokan kingdoms, the humanoid civilizations, the symbiotic nomads, and more, were at constant war with each other and within. Fighting to prove one's superiority became the only law all Outworld could rally behind, allowing powerful kingdoms to rise only to be destroyed by the might and will of another.
That all changed, however, with the rise of Onaga. No one knows where he came from, or how he arrived in Outworld, but he soon found himself in a position to assume power. With the help of the ancient Z'ankarian civilization, Onaga was able to defeat the Kahnum, one of the most powerful kingdoms of the humanoids, ruled by the ancient Kahns. They soon fell against his might and he earned the right to rule them as their new Kahn; but he rejected that title, believing not on the right by strength the Kahns believed in. He did not see the might of a warrior as the way to rule but to safeguard it. Under his command, the armies of the Kahnum became his own personal army; an army so powerful it was said they could win any battle without losing a single man. With it, he conquered all other kingdoms and races in Outworld and ruled all equally as the first true Emperor of Outworld through an elaborated network of subordinates loyal to his system and beliefs, while centered upon the first city of Outworld: Sarna.
While some saw that as fair, others considered he was going against the true nature of Outworld. Although rebellion came, the might of the Dragon King's army was enough to silence them. The Dragon King also ruled with capable advisors, among them, was the protector of the realm, an immortal known as Shao, a revered figure among the members of the Kahnum. That, however, proved to be his biggest mistake.
During the next years, Shao plagued the Emperor's mind with lies. He conspired against the other advisors and allies, silently centering all the power into one single person. Then, the day finally arrived. Shao challenged Onaga for the throne of Outworld by the right of Kombat. Enraged, Onaga accepted; but against all expectations, Shao won. He took the throne and even used the title of the old Kahns upon himself, becoming Shao Kahn, Emperor of Outworld.
In truth, Shao Kahn despised Onaga. He saw his rule of law as an insult upon Outworld, a realm that should have been conquered by his favored tribe, the Kahnum. Although he hated the Dragon King, he also knew he was the only one who could bring the realm together, so he waited patiently for his moment to strike. Some even say it was not a fair fight; that he cheated by poisoning the Emperor knowing that if he had fought the Dragon King at full strength, he was sure to lose.
But Shao Kahn's first years on the throne were not easy. Among others, the Dragon King's undefeatable army refused to recognize Shao Kahn's rule, preferring to die protecting the body of their true ruler. The more fanatical followers of Onaga, the members of the Z'ankarian, were rumored to have developed a way for Onaga's soul to be kept from entering the Netherrealm and warned of a prophecy where Outworld's rightful ruler would one day return, to reclaim his army and impose his dominance. Afraid of the Dragon King's return, Shao Kahn ordered for the Z'ankarian to be massacred, the capital of Sarna to be evacuated and forgotten, and for every mention of the Dragon to be redacted and outlawed.
His plan succeeded, and Outworld became his to do as he pleased, pitting the races against each other, with them offering their best warriors to serve him in exchange for influence in his Empire. Not content with this, he soon began a campaign to conquer other realms. Growing stronger with each new addition, convinced that Onaga was done for and would never return.
"In time, however, Shao Kahn was dealt with; and although he was weakened since Earth's victory in Mortal Kombat, Kotal Kahn cannot be called an ally," Raiden said, finishing his tale for the moment.
With breakfast done, the eight students listened to Raiden telling the story of Onaga's rise and fall before classes started on the roof of the dormitories while the ninjas waited in the back.
With that done, then came the obvious round of questions which Yang started. "Why not? You say he is better than Shao, so why not help him?".
"Kotal Kahn has more interests other than ending Shao Kahn's rule, but that is a tale for another time" Raiden answered as the bell that indicated classes were starting rang.
The ninjas immediately began to head out along with the students. Neptune stayed behind and kept talking with Raiden. "Anything else you can tell me for the moment?".
"Many things" Raiden answered directly. "But I must head back to the headmaster. Fujin will oversee that" he said as he began to walk towards the edge of the roof.
"How so?".
"I was told to look for a warrior's assistance. It is my belief that Professor Ozpin can help with that quest".
"But… what should I do then?" Neptune asked, feeling alone for the first time.
Raiden looked at the medical building for a moment before answering. "I believe your friend will awake soon. You might want to be there for it" he said before teleporting away.
"Thank you again, councilman. Don't worry, I'll keep you in touch" Ozpin said with a smile before hanging up with one of Vale's council members. When he was sure the call ended, he let out a sigh and drank all the coffee in his mug.
"Difficult morning?" Raiden asked from behind him.
"You might not believe this, but is impolite to approach someone from the back without announcing yourself," Ozpin said. He then stood up and went to get more coffee before continuing. "Managed to convince the members that the damages were caused by a failed terrorist attempt of unknown origin. Most accepted that I assemble an investigation team, only one wanted third party investigators; I managed to agree with her that all reports would go unedited to her first".
"I apologize for all the inconveniences. Did they ask about Seido?".
"Bad timing. Onaga seems to be running with that excuse as well according to the news". Once his mug was full, Ozpin went to take another sip. "I know you and your brother said that it is ok; but are you really going to hide as janitors?".
"Just Fujin for the moment. And hiding in plain sight is a better alternative for us. Not just that, new teachers might bring too much attention giving the circumstances".
"Only him?" Ozpin then asked confused.
"If you remember, I've been trying to ask you for someone since the early morning" Raiden explained.
Ozpin then remembered all the interruptions. "So you have. What for?".
"To help in the coming battle, I was told to look for an ancient warrior tasked with helping the mortals of this world. The sooner I begin my quest, the better".
"You do…? And… who told you to do that?".
"You might not believe me, headmaster; but while I was dying, my spirit traveled to a world within worlds where I met this universe's God of Light!" Raiden explained.
"You did!?" Ozpin asked surprised. 'So he is still around…' he then thought.
"Indeed, and he told me to look for a man by the name of Ozma. Have you ever heard of him?". Ozpin looked at Raiden for a long time before laughing. Raiden was not offended; rather he was confused. "How is this humorous?" He asked as Ozpin poured another mug.
After some time, Ozpin finally stopped laughing and sat down again. "Ozma… I have not heard someone else say that name in a long time… what would you say if I told you Ozma was closer than you think?".
"So you do know of him! And you know where to find him!?" Raiden asked with excitement.
Ozpin just pushed the second mug forward on his desk. Raiden had done his best to explain the events from his universe, it was only fair that Ozpin did the same. "You might want to take a seat. It's a long story".
The first period was almost done. Most students acted as normal believing that the threat from earlier in the morning had been taken care of by the faculty. Many had even excused themselves to get some sort of 'thank you' gifts for the teachers that had bravely fought off the threat. Professor Oobleck was even enjoying team KHTE helping him with writing on the blackboard and brewing his coffee.
"Can't believe they are doing that willingly" Yang remarked to her friends.
"They did crush Oobleck and Port with a makeshift wall" Ren reminded her.
Soon the time for the bell to ring came and every student was beginning to head out. "Thanks for your help boys," the professor said as he checked that only teams KHTE, RWBY and JNR were left. "And it's good to know we are on the same side after all". The ninjas bowed in response. "Oh! And… word of advice: Be patient with Peter, I can assure you he will insist on a rematch".
As everyone began to head towards their next class, Jaune's renewed moping attitude became noticeable again. "Come on Vomit-boy, now that everyone is on board there is no way we won't be able to save her!" Yang said to try and cheer him up.
"Yes… we…" Jaune answered, not even attempting to show any good emotions.
"If this is about your fight with Hotaru, then I am sorry, but what were you expecting!?" Weiss then said. She didn't want to come too strong; he would have no problem fighting against students, but then she realized how it sounded when Ren and Nora gave her a look. "I mean, I didn't mean it that way. He is just-".
"You wanted to fight the Commander of a worldwide military force, boy. He is in a level far superior to yours; you should count yourself lucky you survived!" Hanzo scolded Jaune as he inserted himself in the conversation.
Before anything else could be added, however, they noticed Miss Goodwitch standing in front of their next classroom's door. "Mr. Arc, Mr. Vrbada, please come with me," she told both students.
Smoke just shrugged and stepped next to Glynda. Jaune, on the other hand, was skeptical. "Is… everything alright, Mrs. Goodwitch?".
"Yes, don't worry. Someone in the medical wing wants to speak with you two. The rest of you head to class".
The blown wall seemed to have been rebuilt. The stairs also seemed to have been just fixed. The rest of the building, however, was still a mess. It was funny to see Fujin in a janitor's overall being instructed on how to do his job by an older guy; he might be a god, but he was surprisingly humble.
In due time, they arrived at the fifth floor and saw Sun doing some balancing exercises with a nurse and Neptune. The mood seemed to have finally lifted for the first time as they all ran to greet each other and Glynda excused the nurse for a short break.
"So… yeah… Nep told me some of the stuff that happened since I came back to my senses and… thank you, guys. Sorry if I doubted you" Sun told Smoke.
"No problem. Glad we were of service" Smoke said back.
"So… what did you want to talk to us about, Sun?" Jaune then asked and both the other blonde and Neptune looked confused at Jaune.
"I… didn't ask you to come. I mean it's cool and all, but we were gonna drop by later".
"But… if it wasn't you, then-?".
"Mr. Arc, Mr. Vrbada, he is waiting for you," Goodwitch said from next to the IC's entrance.
"You have to be kidding…" Jaune said as he then led the way into the room, but every negative emotion he had towards Cardin disappeared as soon as he saw his former tormentor laying in his bed and just looking at the roof while his nose was connected to a cannula and his arm to an intravenous line. He was still pale and his eyes seemed red, either with irritation or due to tears of sadness. The room's TV screen was on and showing the news, but it had been muted by the redhead.
"Mr. Winchester?" Glynda called for his attention. Cardin then looked away from the ceiling and towards the other three people. "I will give you some privacy now. Make it quick, please" she said before leaving.
An uncomfortable silence fell upon the room. Jaune wanted to say and do a lot of things to Cardin, but the person in front of him, struggling to sit, was not his former bully.
"Could you guys… come closer?" Cardin asked with a raspy voice and both Tomas and Jaune complied. "Tomas, right?" he then asked the silver-haired boy who nodded in response. "I heard you were the one who made puke the venom to save me. Thanks, but why?".
"I mean, I've heard you aren't the nicest person out there, sure; but did you kill another person without a cause? I don't think so" Smoke answered with honesty.
"After… all the bad things I said about your team and you?".
"Psh. Come on, it's going to take more than baseless accusations to tick me off". Tomas then patted Cardin's shoulder before adding more. "Besides, even at your worst, your team still cared for you. The last thing I could ever want is for a friend of someone to die; trust me, I know that pain". It was subtle, but Jaune could see Smoke was speaking from experience.
With Smoke done, Cardin then looked over at Jaune. "Hey, could you give us a moment alone?" he then asked Smoke. The ninja looked confused at first and looked at Jaune for an explanation.
"I think I know what he wants to talk about. And it is a personal matter between the two of us" Jaune answered.
"Alright. You know where to find me kid" Smoke said, patting Jaune in the back before leaving and closing the door.
"Heard you were there too, Jaune," Cardin said surprising the blond boy. This had to be the first time Cardin ever spoke to him using his real name without others present.
"Well… it was mostly because…" Jaune tried to tell the truth but was immediately cut off by Cardin.
"I know, I know, it had to do with Pyrrha. I blew it, and I told your secret. Look, I get it: You hate my guts, and I don't blame you. Believe me or not, I held it back from her for a long time. She played with me, I never suspected that was what she was after all this time. I actually thought…" he then trailed off, knowing the next line would be painful to admit. "I thought she was the only person who actually liked me for who I am… I may get expelled from here Jaune…". That was old news to all students, but the fact that Cardin was confessing that to him was mind-blowing. "I threw away the advice everyone gave me and just wanted an enabler to tell me I was right… I may have the muscle, but… you are the one with the brain and heart to be a huntsman".
Jaune didn't want to, but he actually chuckled at that part. "I don't have the brain. I am just as stupid. Even more, actually. Pyrrha is this mess because of me too. And even then, can you believe she has a crush on me?" he asked and looked at the former bully. The raised eyebrow in Cardin's condescending face told him enough. "So… you knew it too?".
"Look, this is not just on you, Jaune. I promise I will do whatever it takes to make things right with you guys! From now on, Cardin Winchester is a new man!". The shock in Jaune's face did not go unnoticed to Cardin. "Hey, near-death experiences make you see life differently". With that said, both boys then shook hands as allies for the first time.
Three knocks on the door, however, broke the touching moment. Soon after, Smoke opened the door and peeked in. "You boys are done?" he asked them.
"Yes. I think we are" Jaune said with a relaxed smile.
"Good. Because you have MORE visitors, Mr. Winchester!" Smoke said as he entered the room and allowed the rest of team CRDL to enter as well. The boys looked confused, scared, clearly not knowing what to do. Cardin was no better on his end. After almost a minute of silence, Smoke sighed loudly and massaged his forehead. "The only ones making it awkward are all of you. Just go already!".
Slowly then, Sky began to walk towards Cardin. When both boys were inches apart, he then went to hug his leader.
"Hey, careful there, Sky. My stomach still feels like crap!" Cardin protested in a jokingly manner.
"Nah! That's just your diet catching up with you, you pig!" Dove said in the same joking way, but with slight crackings in his voice.
"Come here, you two. I know you want some of this!" Cardin said as the whole team was reunited again.
Smoke then patted Jaune's back again. "We are done here, kid. Give them some alone time" he said as they both began to leave.
"Hey, Jaune!" Cardin then yelled calling for the blonde's attention. "Don't tell anyone about this!" he said pretending to be threatening.
"Your secret is safe with me" Jaune answered back before leaving.
Once outside, Jaune noticed that Glynda, Sun, and Neptune were gone. "Signing forms for Sun's treatment and then bringing him up to date; don't worry. We should be heading back to class, however," Smoke explained as he began to walk again and answered whatever question Jaune might have been thinking of. "Once Cardin woke up, Goodwitch told him what happened to his team; within minutes the boys were released. The detective in charge of the case killed himself; pulled his gun on himself in the middle of the precinct as soon as he was asked to the captain's office. We are not sure, but he might have been turned into a cyborg. I don't really mind the manly man thing those kids are aiming for, but come on! If you feel like hugging it out, then just do it! I mean… I am not of the touching kind but-".
Smoke kept on talking, but Jaune slowed down and then looked around to see if they were, indeed, alone before stopping entirely. "I cheated my way into Beacon".
Immediately after, Smoke stopped walking too. "Huh?".
"The secret I told Pyrrha, and Cardin then Overheard. The one they blackmailed her with. I cheated my way in. I never received proper training at a Combat School, I never received proper training on how to use a weapon, I didn't even have my aura unlocked before initiation. I just wanted to be a huntsman and help people". Smoke said nothing; he just looked at Jaune with eyes wide open. "I know it's nothing compared with the things you told us, but that is the truth. I don't know how you feel about it, but ... could you at least not tell the teachers yet? After this is done, I will gladly go away, but… I just want to help her this one last time".
Smoke took and released a deep breath. "Wow…" was all he said. "Well… we'll see what happens. But… thanks for trusting in me, kid".
As they kept walking, Smoke considered possible scenarios until an idea popped in his head.
Things were going as normal at The Night Beetle, at least on the surface. The office workers were typing, the bell hoppers were helping guests with their luggage, and the restaurant was working as usual, but whenever an employee looked at the doors of the Dragon Room, they saw Ryu resting next to them, with arms crossed over his chest and eyes closed.
All appointments – legal and illegal – were postponed, interviews canceled, and all employees were warned to not disturb him under the threat of immediate firing.
Kollector arrived in costume, looking at the doors with worry. "Shouldn't we-?" he tried to reason, but Ryu just shook his head. Onaga was ruthless, but not heartless. Greif needed time to heal, and he would give that time. A reasonable time, at least.
A sacrifice for a noble cause was one thing, but a sacrifice for nothing was infuriating. In his office, Hotaru was left to remember the many good times he shared with Grava. A friend, an ally, a confidant. She had confessed her love for him, but both were too focused on their work to let emotions shatter their work dynamic. "The best Commander I have ever worked with…" he said remembering her words as he drank the last of his third cup of wine, looking at the cracked mask of the demon warlord Drahmin.
He then moved over and sat on his chair as he retrieved a leather folder filled with copies of some of his most prized documents. Ona was the letter that certified him as the Commander of the Seidan Guard, signed by both the Prime Minister at the time and Grava. The second was a letter from her that arrived the day after his promotion ceremony.
'To the new Commander of the Seidan Guard: You have my most humble congratulations.
If you want to believe it or not, I have kept an eye on you since your days at the academy, following your development to see if you indeed could reach this position one day. Don't think you are so special, I've done this before, and I will do it when you are gone. If I am not mistaken, I lost my bet with former Commander Hitam, may he rest in peace.
Commander Hitam drank his tea while looking at the extension of the dormitories. He was a man of small talk. If he needed to do something, he did it as soon and as legal as possible. He was completely bald and had a pure white full goatee to go with his noticeable wrinkles. Nonetheless, the old man could still pack a punch and was able to carry around the weight of his armor. His concentration on the new building was not broken when he heard a swooping sound from behind him. "My Lady. How did things go with the riots?".
Grava then walked forward until she was next to the man. "As expected, the local governor went on with the naturalization process and did not allow me to intervene insisting they were refugees and not warriors. He was dismembered; by the time I was asked to intervene, his head was already being paraded on the streets".
"Yeah… he died as he lived; an idiot". The commander finished his tea and went on to walk down the hall with Grava following. "We got new recruits; double the amount of last time. They began their formal training almost two months ago".
"That sounds good!" She remarked.
Hitam sighed. "No… it is not. More than half of them joined because they were orphans. Almost a tenth became orphans a few weeks before initiation and we are still getting reports of parents dying".
They then finally arrived at the open area of the academy's campus where the first-year students were practicing katas.
"Oh Hitam…" Grava lamented. "When did you stop being that energetic visionary?" she asked him.
Hitam chuckled at that comment. "I wish I could remember. What do you know about my replacement?".
"I hear General Kani has good chances. Longxiaa is also rumored; but if I had to choose, I'd rather go with Pakarang" she answered.
"Well… now I know who to write that recommendation to," he said joking. "I know I was not the commander you expected, but I like to think we didn't do it so badly".
"I'll be sure to keep you updated".
At that, Hitam sighed once again, and his face showed regret. "Don't bother… I am going to die in the gutter" Grava looked confused at that and Hitam explained. "You know about the budget cuts, right?" he asked, and she nodded. "Well, not only did I have to keep operations up with less money, but I also needed to care for an ever-growing number of children who had no home to go back to. I had to pull money from everywhere to do a fraction of what I envisioned, and guess what, I can only contract with the building company of dear Senator Pembohong and he will only finish the projects if I pay the 'acceleration' fee".
"Are you suggesting that…" Grava was saying with caution.
"I did not steal anything, if that is what you are worried about. If anything, all came out of my pocket. Still, since that will still fall into misuse of public funding…".
"You will be sentenced once your immunity is revoked".
"Don't worry. I have no regrets. I managed to renew the armors, training became more effective, and if everything goes according to plan the kids will no longer have to sleep eight per room".
Speaking of the kids, the new students were now on recess. The adults looked around at all the children before Grava spoke again. "Do you see any candidate you are willing to bet on?".
"Are you still doing this?" he asked back in return.
"I got it right with you, didn't I?".
Hitam then pulled out a folder with the statistics of all the first-year students. "Let's see… there is Kin, he topped the overall scores, is from the capital and comes from a banking family; real powerbrokers".
"How does he relate with the other students?".
"Big social circle where he is the provider. Do you think he has self-esteem problems?".
"Wouldn't be the first. He seeks the love and approval his parents never gave him".
"Then there is… Temtsekh. Orphaned when he was five, comes from the Desert Continent, a reformed delinquent. He tops the physical courses and has some difficulty with reading comprehension".
"Interesting… next?".
"Misul. Another one from the Capital. His parents and older brothers are 'reformists', but he takes more on the side of his grandfather, a lawyer by trade. Great with words, will most likely exceed in the written courses. If we manage to make him hit the gym twice as much, we are talking about a walking wall with brains".
They went on with the other four students until they finally reached the last one. "Finally, Hotaru, the silent boy over there" Hitam said while pointing at the child. "Best results for the Agricultural Continent, average grades heading for improvement and a walking and talking rule book".
Grava looked at the data Hitam had before digging for more information. "Any bad traits?".
"Not the most sociable, many say he is rude but effective to work with. To tell the truth, he is my pick".
Grava looked confused at the man. "How so?".
"His father was one of the Guardsmen at Sorade. He died at the hands of the resistance the night before the boy arrived. He has nowhere to go and a passion for justice. I like the kid".
"Wouldn't that make him too passionate?".
"I once beat up a neighbor who stole my candy. Years later we became regulars at the same Mahjong parlor. People can grow".
"Well. We'll have to see…".
'I can't say I have been disappointed by each of your predecessors, Commander. But I expect you to show me what is it that Hitam saw in you.
I am glad you've taken the right choices in life, but this is your true test. None of what you have done has hugely impressed me. Right now, you are just another face who will be forgotten by time.
Let me make this clear: I want you to fight for this realm of ours, I want you to be proud of the armor and flags of the Seidan Guard, I want you to be a leader.
Best regards: Grava, protector goddess of the realm'.
The first time he read that letter, Hotaru felt offended that she dared to doubt his abilities. But in due time, they both became valuable allies to each other; and if anything, she was right. He needed to lead; to make sure Orderrealm was the crowning society they wanted.
Hotaru got up from his chair, headed for the entrance, and slammed the door open. He then looked at the excited face of Kollector and the amused grin in Ryu. "Gentlemen, we have a war to fight. Developments?". Kollector immediately fished out of his briefcase a document and handed it over to Hotaru. The other man chuckled. "So, this is their first move. Ko! Call the members of the higher ring and schedule a meeting tomorrow night," Hotaru said as he allowed his associates to enter the Dragon Room to plan their strategy.
With school done for the day Jaune wanted to just fall on his bed and let sadness consume him until he fell asleep. Tomas, however, had other plans.
'Meet me on the rooftop at 18:00. Tell the others if you want, but come alone"
The gray ninja wrote to him.
Jaune did as told and eventually arrived, finding Tomas discussing something with Kuai Liang. Both then looked at him; Tomas with a cheeky smile and Sub Zero with a cold analytical stare. As time passed, however, Tomas's smile faded away.
"Ok… I am here… what is it that you wanted… to… Why are you staring at me like that!".
"I bet that you would hear him coming" Tomas explained.
"Wha-" Jaune tried to ask but was immediately taken down by a kick on his back. He managed to fall on his knees and then turn his head with enough time to see Hanzo deliver a roundhouse kick to his face, making Jaune fall on his back.
"Pay attention to your surroundings!" the yellow ninja yelled at him before jumping in the air wanting to deliver a punch on Jaune's face. The blonde, however, managed to get his shield and deployed it, managing to block the punch. "Good! You at least came prepared, but reflexes are average at best!" Hanzo said as he stood up and went to get his katanas.
"Are you all crazy!? What is wrong with you!?" Jaune screamed at the other two ninjas. Tomas seemingly enjoying the show while Kuai Liang analyzed everything Jaune did. The blonde boy was ready to keep reprimanding the other two but stopped when his peripheral vision saw Hanzo swing his swords at him with just enough time for Jaune to block them with his shield.
"You are fighting an opponent! Keep your eyes on the fight!" Hanzo said before doing a sweep kick and making Jaune fall again. He then kicked both swords and shield away before sticking the katanas on the ground like scissors ready to cut his head off. "You allowed your enemy to secure weapons! Your mind is not focused on defeating your opponent first and you are expecting the enemy to announce itself!" he yelled one last time before removing the swords and putting them back on their sheds. "If I had to give any sort of praise, is that you are good with defense. We do not have much time, so every second of your training must count!" Hanzo said, moving away from Jaune and patting Kuai Liang on the back.
That statement, however, caught Jaune by surprise. "Training?" he asked looking at the ninjas.
Tomas then stood up to stretch before explaining. "It didn't take much convincing, but once I told them of your situation, the Grandmasters agreed to help you in extracurricular activities… so to speak".
"Are you guys serious?" Jaune then asked, admittedly, with some joy as he was now resting on his elbows.
"Don't think it will be easy!" Kuai Liang warned with a cocky smile. "Our training will be brutal, Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu are clans that learn by trial and error. We won't guaranty you'll be on the same level as your friends or that you will become a ninja, but you'll be able to win a fight when we are done with you. We don't know how long we've got before Seido makes their move so don't make us regret this" Kuai Liang said as he extended his hand towards Jaune.
With a smile on his face and renewed confidence, Jaune took it. "Yes sir! So, what will be my first lesson?".
Kuai Liang did not answer. His face just morphed into a sinister grin which terrorized Jaune. "We are still in it. Hanzo just tagged out" he said before grabbing Jaune's forearm with his other hand and throwing the blonde to the other side of the roof.
