The little family was certainly enjoying the beach. Luna had quickly taken her clothes off, revealing that she had replaced her underwear with a relatively modest dark blue bikini when she went into her room for a few minutes before the teleportation, who set up a beach towel and started working on a tan. Karna had changed into a one piece swimsuit with flame patterns and was building what appeared to be a small village made of sand. Like her mate, Blake was also sunbathing, the main difference being that she had simply dispelled her conjured clothes and was doing so in her birthday suit, which caused Luna to stare at her while drooling, something that the Demi-Dragon Goddess wasn't unaware of as she was returning the stare with a slit-eyed one, letting Luna know that her mate liked what she was seeing and that she wanted to get to know every single inch of her mate.
As the two mates were about to get… intimate, with Blake already on top of Luna with the Demi-Goddess's hands grasping the Demi-Dragon Goddess's buttocks, their faces merely centimeters apart from each other, the two fully prepared to engage in an intense make-out session that might have gone further, Blake suddenly sensed something from one of the other islands within her domain. While what she was sensing was faint, there was no mistaking what it was. Someone was utilizing magic.
Somewhat reluctantly getting off of her mate, and conjuring herself a copy of the two piece swimsuit she wore when she and Luna had their conversation with the Delacours, Blake quickly pinpointed where the magic was being used. One of the islands that, on the surface, was mainly composed of a rather large desert with a large volcano at the center of the island. Underneath the island though laid an underground network of volcanic caves. To be more specific, an island where certain species both Insectoid and Arachnid creatures lived along with the smaller more docile species of creatures.
"Someone's using magic in my domain and it's not one of us. Excuse me, I'll be back as soon as possible." Stated Blake before teleporting away, her exclamation unintentionally caused Luna to not voice her disappointment as she understood that her mate was dangerously protective of what she considered hers, and having strangers in her domain was definitely amongst the top of her list.
When Blake arrived on the other island, she conjured a few additional pieces of clothing to keep her from overheating. While she had a much higher resistance against heat (and the cold) than a normal human, she wasn't immune against the elements. Taking a glance around the area of desert she arrived in, she spotted a few things of interest. The first one was that the area was rather close to the edge of the island. The second thing of interest was the opening in the ground that led to the subterranean volcanic network of caves underneath the desert, which admittedly wasn't really uncommon on this particular island, as more than a few of them were scattered throughout the island. The final thing of interest was the suspicious pieces of metal lying around, some of which appeared to be pieces of a modern shipwreck, apparently named the Karaboudjan (if a piece with the entire name written on it was anything to go on). What made the pieces of the shipwreck suspicious was that the pieces seemed to be broken apart too cleanly, almost as if they've been strategically cut apart rather than simply broken.
"I know you're there, show yourself." Demanded Blake to seemingly no one. Suddenly, the various pieces of the shipwreck started to move, as if they were being pulled by something. Eventually the pieces assembled into the shape of a huge quadrupedal construct, vaguely resembling a dragon. While the sunlight made it difficult to see, Blake could spot the shine of something golden in between the pieces of the construct. "An interesting puppet, but that's all that it is. A puppet. Come out and face me. Face to face and this won't have to turn violent." A scream could be heard echoing through the construct, coming out as something sounding almost like a roar as the mouth of the construct opened and four streams of flames shot out of it, forming into a vortex of fire. While most would probably have found that display intimidating and probably end up running away, Blake appeared to simply be annoyed. "I won't repeat myself again. Come out and meet me face to face." As the construct tried to either smack the Demi-Dragon Goddess away or crush her with a large limb, Blake simply fired an Oblivion Orb into said limb, causing the erasure of the entire construct from existence, starting where the Oblivion Orb hit and spreading. Once the entire construct was gone, only five things remained. Four rather small spider-like creatures that Blake had labeled as Rachnoids and a golden thing the size of a rather small person. The Rachnoids were actually standing in between Blake and the golden thing in a seemingly protective manner. "*sigh* last warning. We can do this the easy way where nobody gets hurt or the hard way where someone is going to get hurt or will die. Most likely your… pets."
That statement seemed to have done something as a total of four… sharp hook-like things suddenly poked through the golden thing, revealing that the golden thing was actually a cocoon made of some kind of golden silk. The places where the hooks poked out through it seemed almost random at first, until it revealed that the places weren't as random at all but strategically placed openings in the cocoon as a set of humanoid limbs poked out of it, all of which were covered in a purple carapace with golden highlights. As a hand moved to where the face would be and cut out a spot in the cocoon, it completed the conversion of the cocoon into a mixture between a robe and a hooded poncho. Taking a look at the hooded person's face revealed not two but a total number of eight yellow eyes, two in the expected place and the other (much smaller) six were placed below the larger eyes in a manner that almost looked like freckles in triangular formations. The two larger eyes were the eyes that had the closest resemblance to human eyes, but still definitely not belonging to a human, evidenced by the lack of a pupil and an iris with the appearance of a compound-eye, and unlike the ones that looked like freckles, those eyes were the only ones that actually blinked. The hook-like things that were used to open up the golden cocoon turned out to be attached to a total of four limbs attached to the creatures upper and lower back. Despite the creature's rather intimidating (to most people) appearance, it seemed rather shy if not downright afraid of Blake.
"Wh-wh-who are you?" Asked the creature in a timid manner, revealing that the creature was probably female based on the voice.
"Me? The name's Blake. Blake Ouroboros. This is my domain. Who are you and what are you doing in my domain?" Whether or not Blake noticed the creature flinching at her tone was debatable but the creature seemed to be trying to get away from her.
"M-m-my name is Entoma. Entoma Tucker. Me and my father were shipwrecked here." Replied the creature, now known as Entoma Tucker, timidly. The Rachnoid that was the closest to her crawled up her leg and settled itself on Entoma's shoulder, snuggling with the… insectoid girl, a behavior that wasn't normal for the small spider-like creatures as far as Blake knew.
"I see that you're basically alone-"
"I'm not! I got my friends right here!"
"Right. My bad. Do I assume correctly that your father got eaten by one of the larger creatures?"
"Yes, and to that I say good riddance! He was a monster!"
"A monster?"
"He used alchemy to fuse me with one of the local creatures, turning me into this!" At that, Entoma started to cry. As Blake got closer, Entoma unceremoniously latched onto the Demi-Dragon Goddess, crying into the silvery grey-eyed girl's large chest, which only mildly annoyed Blake as she had sort of gotten used to Karna crying into either her or Luna's chests on occasion, usually whenever she had the nightmare in which she wasn't rescued by Blake, which was usually followed up with her either simply going back to sleep while trying to think and as a result dream of happier things or her joining her parents. "He never loved me. I was just another guinea pig, like his previous children and wives."
"*sigh* listen, little weaver, I originally came here with my mate and daughter to enjoy some relaxing and fun at the beach. Care to join us, I'm sure that neither Luna nor Karna will mind." Offered Blake after a few minutes of Entoma simply crying into her chest.
"But I'm a freak, why are you being so nice?"
"Curiosity is part of the reason and there's also the fact that I see nothing more than a young girl who deserves happiness. So, I'll ask again. Care to join us?"
"Gladly." Replied Entoma in between tears of possibly happiness.
