"What the. . ." Ricky spoke as he woke up from his nap and saw Ryker passed out in the bed next to him
The boy continued to look around until he recognized that he was in the Great Wave and slumped back into his bed. Within a few seconds a stomach ache took over him and the boy clutched his torso before looking over at the stirring boy beside him. Ryker had flipped over onto his stomach and started to snore once again. The other grew a tic mark before slapping Ryker in one of his wing appendages. "Wake up you idiot!" Ricky scolded the other boy
"Ow! What the hell ass hat!" Ryker yelled back to him
"You were being annoying!" Ricky responded
Ryker looked back at his fellow apprentice, "Yeah whatever, where are we? The last thing I remember is the eating contest."
"You're on your ship. Your Captain dropped you both off here and went back into St. Poplar to find the rest of your crew." A new voice spoke as the two boys looked to the doorway to see who was there
Ryker looked back at Ricky, "Who the hell is she?"
Ricky looked at her with a piercing gaze, "You're one of Crocodile's agents aren't you!" Spoke the boy
Robin chuckled and brought her hand to her mouth, "I was a time ago." She responded
"Crocodile tried to kill my country! An ally of his is an enemy of mine!" Ricky stated as he raised himself out of his bed
The lady walked towards the boy and poked his forehead which knocked him back onto his bed. "Don't worry little one, I'm not with him anymore." She then smiled again. "Your Captain's brother has taken me in as a part of his family, and to that I am ever grateful!" She explained to Ricky and Ryker who seemed to calm themselves after hearing that
They both then choked, "Wait you're with Ace!?" They both screamed out
"No no no, his other brother, Luffy." She corrected them
"Ohhhhh Luffy!" Ricky began to say. "He's the one who defeated Crocodile, and was in that war with Naruto and Ace." He finished
Ryker smiled, "Well any friend of Naruto's is a friend of mine!" He said as he got up from his bed
The boy walked over to a cabinet and took out a brown wife beater and putting it on, he then reached in a pulled out some goggles out of his bag he took from Skypiea and put them over his head and let them rest on his forehead. Ricky did the same and got up and walked to the same cabinet. He though elected to put on a blue and white shirt and tied a black headband to his forehead.
The two boys then walked up to the taller woman and asked her, "So what are we suppose to do?" Asked Ryker
"We're going to look out for any Marines on the horizon." She answered him as Ryker smiled before running over to the rope at the side of the ship with Ricky on his tail and they both ran up to the helm.
Ryker yelled down to the still climbing boy, "Ha! Look at me Ricky! I'm higher up then you are chump!"
"Hey! I don't care if you're higher! I'm still the captain until Naruto gets back!" Ricky countered as Ryker grew angry
"Yea right! I'm stronger so I'm the captain!" The Skypiean native retorted
At that moment Robin had a chill go down her spine. "So you two brats are Pirates then?" Asked a voice from behind her
She flung her head around and saw Lucci. "Yeah we are! Who are you and what are you doing on our ship!?" Ryker demanded of the man as he just smiled
"The name is Lucci, Rob Lucci, and well you could say I'm the type of guy who hunts scum like you!" He told them with a grin as the two boys began to sweat
Robin looked up to the boys and yelled out, "Ricky! Ryker! Run!" She told them as Lucci jumped and blind sided her, knocking her back
The two then grabbed a rope and swung down onto the deck, "Hey don't touch our friend!" Ricky told Lucci who laughed
"And I suppose you two are going to stop me!? But I suppose you're both so eager to run towards the man who will kill you I suppose I can grant you mercy by ending both of your lives right now instead of in 5 minutes." Lucci bragged as the two ran at him
Lucci brought his arm back and readied an attack which Ryker used his haki to see where he was going to attack. "Ricky hit the ground!" The other boy complied as Lucci's attack missed them and Ricky got back up
"Eat this you bastard!" Ricky exclaimed as he swung his dagger at Lucci's leg which the man easily dodged and kicked the boy back with the dagger flying upwards and landing on the deck
Ryker quickly pulled a dial from his pocket which began to dispense a line of clouds which he then hopped on and started to use his cloud skates to ride. The boy lowered his goggles and brought out a knife and skated towards Lucci. "Don't get cocky, Pukei!" Ryker exclaimed, making fun of the man's name
Lucci reached down and grabbed Ricky's dagger and drew it and readied for a swing. Ryker saw what was happening and jumped and flew threw the air above Lucci and landed next to Ricky who was just getting up. "Observation haki, I never thought a child could wield such a power." Lucci stated
"Let go of my dagger ass face!" Ricky yelled out, holding his stomach where Lucci had kicked him
The man made a smile, "And why should I?" He asked
"Because a man I respect gave it to me! Pell of the royal Alabastian army! The only person from my home to ever help me after the death of my parents gave me that! And I won't let scum like you touch something so precious to me!" Ricky yelled at Lucci
He laughed, "In that case, catch!" He answered, throwing the dagger at Ricky
Ryker and Ricky were too slow to get out of the way of the blade but no pain ever came. The boys looked back and saw that a hand was holding the dagger that was attached to the deck of the ship. "So you've chosen to interfere Nico Robin?" Lucci asked her, taking a glimpse behind himself
She was bleeding slightly from the last hit that she took but had a look of determination on her face. "I won't stand around and watch you hurt these two children who risked their lives for me Lucci!" She told him with feeling
"Don't forget about us!" Ryker exclaimed as he and Ricky ran at him, Ricky grabbing his dagger once again
The agent just reached both of his hands out and grabbed the two as they ran at him. He then slammed them into the deck with force as they both yelped in pain from it. Lucci then let go and prepared to strike the both of them to finish it but before he could attack once again, Robin had used her Devil-Fruit to restrain the man. "Don't you dare Lucci!" She told him as he looked over at her in distaste
"Now Ricky! Use your haki!" Ryker told him as Ricky began to concentrate as much as he could into his dagger as it began to turn black
Lucci used more of his strength to break Robin's grip and then grabbed the boy's arm and stopped the dagger from going any further towards him. As he did so he looked and saw that Ryker had jumped up and kicked the top of the dagger which overpowered Lucci's grip enough so that the dagger went closer to his body. "Iron Body!" Lucci exclaimed as the dagger hit his body
The two boys then were shot back along with the dagger as Lucci got to his feet once again. He felt the spot where the dagger was and saw that his clothing was cut in that spot and felt around some more and was surprised to see a small bit of blood. "Would you look at that, looks like I can't take you two lightly anymore." He said to them as he began to change. The two boys went wide eyed as they began to grow scared.
Elsewhere on the island. . .
"Oi Pedro!" Naruto yelled out as he ran after his leopard mink friend
The mink turned around, "What is it?" He asked with a raised brow
"The World Government officials are on the island, I want you to return to the ship and get it prepped and ready to go." He ordered as the mink nodded and complied
Naruto was about to run off and find more of the others until Pedro stopped him, "Wait Naruto! Do you know where the others are?" He asked his captain
"No I don't, I have Ace and my other brother Sabo looking for them. When you return to the ship you should find Nico Robin there with Ryker and Ricky, don't be alarmed. She's on our side." Naruto explained to Pedro who nodded along
"Roger!" Pedro began, "And Naruto! Be be careful!" The mink told him
Naruto flashed him a grin, "I'll try my best!" He said before running off in the opposite direction in which he came
Pedro looked off towards the ship and began running. He looked on as some of the people began to leave the festival and after a moment they began to do it at a quicker rate. "Hey did you hear! The Pirate King is here!" One of the civilians spoke to another
"What! He's here!?" Another questioned
"Hey! The Marines are on their way!"
A woman was shocked, "They'll surly send someone strong to capture the Pirate King!"
"We need to get out of here! It'll be a war zone!" Another explained
Pedro bit his lip. 'Shit! The Marines are on their way. This isn't good. I need to hurry to the Great Wave and get her ready to go. I hope those two kids have done enough already so we can get her going sooner rather then later.' Pedro thought as he arrived at the bottom of the ship
Immediately the leopard mink heard a scuffle on the top of the ship as he arrived and jumped up onto the deck to see what was happening. To the mink's shock, standing there was one Rob Lucci who was now in his hybrid form holding a bloodied Ricky. Pedro immediately drew his sword and pointed it at the Devil-Fruit user, "Leave the boy alone!" He yelled at Lucci who grinned
"I never thought the King of the Pirates would be so willing to send another lamb to the slaughter!" Lucci bragged as Pedro rushed him which put him on the defensive
Lucci had dropped Ricky in the process and began to defend himself with his claws. "How dare you raise a hand against my friends!" Pedro said as he kept up with quick slashes, most of which Lucci had managed to block with the odd one slipping through and landing
The Devil-Fruit user was put on the defensive before he managed to push Pedro's blade to the side of him when he attempted another strike and used the dodge to land a punch to Pedro's ribcage. Lucci attempted another strike but Pedro rolled backwards to where Ricky was, he immediately pulled to boy closer to himself so that he was not a target for Lucci. "Ricky! Where is Ryker and the woman?!" Pedro asked the boy, not taking his eye off of Lucci whom was smiling
The boy was panting, "He threw her into the water. . .she's got a Devil-Fruit. . .Ryker jumped in after. . .her. . ." He managed to get out and Pedro nodded
"More of the crew will be back soon, can you walk?" Asked Pedro again
The boy began to tear up, "No. . .I-I can't feel my legs . . ." He cried out
Pedro nodded, "Ricky I need you to be strong okay, what I'm about to do is going to hurt."
Ricky tensed and readied himself for the pain as Pedro grabbed his collar and threw him back towards the door to the interior of the ship. The boy skipped once and then came to a stop before crawling into the ship.
"How dare you hurt him!" Pedro spoke again to Lucci
"A criminal is a criminal regardless of age." He retorted
Pedro chuckled, "And yet the only scum I see is you!" He countered as Lucci was the one to rush forwards this time
"Finger Pistol!" He yelled out as he shot his finger forward which Pedro dodged
The leopard mink then saw an opening on Lucci's left side and threw a kick at it which the Devil-Fruit user blocked. "Electro Wave!" Pedro yelled out as three waves of electricity came from the mink's hand and struck Lucci at close range, shocking him to the core
Pedro managed to escape the grip Lucci had on his leg from the kick he attempted and rolled back again. Lucci's body smoked for a second before he looked up with a killer look. "Now I know not to take you as lightly as I did before." He spoke as he wiped a little blood from the corner of his mouth
The leopard human clasped his hands together as he then began to yell at nothing before Pedro watched on as he began to get larger in size. The man then blitzed Pedro and caught him off guard with a blow to the rib before spinning and lining up a kick to the side of the head which the mink was quick enough to block but was still sent flying off to the side.
Pedro was bleeding from the mouth before he charged his sword with electro and haki and jabbed it forward. The mink connected with Lucci's arm as the blade effortlessly slid across the side of it, cutting a small wound. "Lightning Jab!" Pedro exclaimed as the aftershock of electricity then hit Lucci, though not as hard as the previous attack
Pedro saw another opening and went for the final blow, holding his sword towards the leopard-man hybrid with his other hand holding the bottom of the sword to assist in pushing it in. Lucci's tail made an unexpected appearance, hitting the sword upwards which knocked Pedro off balance before Lucci aimed two fists at Pedro's chest. "Rokuogan!" He yelled as an invisible energy passed through Pedro which made him spit up blood
Just as the attack hit and Pedro fell back onto the deck, Ryker had come up back on the ship with an unconscious Robin on his back. The boy was beaten up with cuts all over his body with a bigger one being right under his left eye. "O-Oi Pedro!" The boy yelled out as he dropped Robin off and readied his weapon again
"You again?" Lucci said with blood dripping down his face from Pedro's attacks
Pedro went wide eyed and fought through the pain to try and get up again. "R-Ryker! Take the woman and g-get inside with Ricky!" He pleaded but it was too late as Ryker didn't listen
The boy ran straight towards Lucci as the Devil-Fruit user quickly disarmed the boy and sent a fast slashing type attack his way with his claws which caught Ryker on the chest. "AHHHHHHH!" Ryker screamed as blood poured out of his wound onto the deck
The boy couldn't catch a break though as Lucci quickly put his shoe on the boy's head and forced it into the deck before preparing the same attack he used on Pedro. "Rokuoga-" Was all Lucci managed to get out before Pedro got the jump on him
Lucci widened his eyes as Pedro's sword was thrusted through his chest from behind him. "Y-you bastard!" Lucci swore as Pedro panted behind him
A some blood dropped from the Devil-Fruit user's mouth before he used most of his energy to elbow Pedro back. He then grabbed the sword with his tail and pulled it out of his body, only faltering slightly before standing up straight once again. "This boy will share the same fate as you pirate!" He stated as he once again resumed his position with his foot on Ryker's head
"Rokuogan!" Lucci proclaimed as an invisible force passed through Ryker and busted a bit of the wooden deck beneath him
Ryker laid there bleeding heavily, just barely clinging on to life as Pedro looked on with utter shock. He slammed his hand on the deck before he spotted a puddle on the deck with something very peculiar on it. On it was a reflection, a reflection of a full moon. Pedro looked back at Lucci and struggled back to his feet, "It's time for you to see what a true monster is! Leave the boys and woman out of this! I'm your opponent!" Pedro yelled at him as Lucci threw Ryker to the side
As he saw this, Pedro looked around at the moon and stared right at it. Within a few seconds, bolts of lightning began to bounce off of Pedro's form to objects around him. Lucci had to brace himself for the gust of wind he was feeling from what Pedro was doing and dug his claws into the deck to stop moving. Like magic, the mink's eyes began to turn red as his hair began to turn white and grow. His teeth also morphed so much that he had begun to look like a sabre tooth tiger. The transformation had finally subsided and Pedro was standing ther with an all new power at his disposal.
"A transformation eh?" Lucci inquired, but as soon as he asked the question Pedro had punched him in the stomach
"This is the true power of the mink tribe, you best remember it!" Pedro told him as he then delivered an elbow to the man's back before roundhouse kickiing him across the deck
Pedro then picked up his sword again and began to walk over to Lucci, bolts cracking off of his body and sword he drew the weapon and pointed it a Lucci once more. "This is for my friends!" Pedro stabbed Lucci through the thigh and out through his calf, pinning him down
"Electro Murder!" The mink proclaimed as he grabbed either side of Lucci's face and began to pump through him the power of the sulong electro
After 30 gruelling seconds, the torture finally ended for Lucci as he dropped to the deck panting hard. Pedro pulled his sword out of him and flicked it, getting off some of the blood. "This is what happens when you hurt my friends, and you best remember it!" Pedro finished as another arrived on the scene
"Oi Pedro-san!" Kinshiki yelled from down below just off of the ship
Pedro ran to the edge of the ship and looked over and spotted another one of his friends. "Kinshiki! Quickly, come aboard! The young ones are injured!" He explained as the Wano native began to run again before he heard Pedro yell out again
"Kinshiki! Someone is coming! From behind you!" Pedro yelled as Kinshiki turned
Standing there was Kaku who had both of his swords drawn with a smile on his face. "So this is where Lucci ran off to! I trust that many of you had died during his assult on your ship?" Kaku asked as Pedro walked out of view before throwing the form of Lucci off of the deck to land in front of Kaku
"W-what's this!?" Kaku managed to get out, overwhelmed by shock
Kinshiki chuckled, "Looks as though the baka made Pedro-san mad!"
"Why you! I'll teach you to speak with respect!" Kaku yelled in a rage as he swung his swords at Kinshiki who unsheathed his own and blocked the two strikes with only one of his own
The taller swordsman laughed again behind his mask, "You will have to do a lot better then that! I studied the aspects of the two sword style under my master Oden-sama, I know that style like back of my hand! I hold no fear for you swordsman, only sympathy because you now have to go up against an opponent who can read your movements even before you attempt them!"
Kaku tried to attack again by swinging his left sword but Kinshiki managed to side step the attack and block the follow up from the right. His eyes then glowed red from under his mask as the wano native predicted that Kaku would try and bring his second sword back to slash him but he managed to duck under it. Will ducked, Kinshiki ran his foot along the ground and swept Kaku's legs. The agent fell but rolled up and jumped at Kinshiki again, holding both of his swords downwards and crossed across his chest so that it looked like he was flying at him with two spikes out of his chest.
"Flying Phase Step!" Kinshiki proclaimed as he appeared behind Kaku with his sword in front of him as a few seconds passed before blood erupted out of Kaku's chest as Kinshiki had landed a blow
Kaku coughed up a little more before he turned around, clenching his jaw as he too like Lucci transformed into an animal. This time instead of a leopard, the Whirlpool Pirates were greeted with the sight of a giraffe. "Time for my ultimate attack Pirate!" Kaku stated as he began to fold his body until it looked like he was a cube and then fluttered his legs as fast as he could
Kinshiki watched with a sweat drop before his eyes glowed red again and he dodged an attack that came from above. "Nani?" Kinshiki questioned out loud
"Giraffe Shower!" Kaku yelled as attacks flew downwards at the two at high speeds
Kaku was able to use the rokushiki to stop any from hurting him but Kinshiki was unable. The samurai looked up at them before closing his eyes and relaxing his body. 'Like a leaf in a breeze.' Kinshiki thought to himself as he relaxed his body even more and started to side step the attacks one by one
This continued for the first few before he brought his sword upwards and held the blade across his forearm and used it to ricochet the rest of the attacks away from him. He then opened his eyes to see Kaku spinning with both of his blades twirling around and he jumped back to get some space between himself and the agent.
Kaku yelled out, "2 Sword Style: 360 Degree Slice!"
Kinshiki backed up as he used his sword to block the long continuous strike Kaku was preforming. The samurai then made an odd connection with the other's blade which made his own bounce up above his head which left him open from the chin down. "Got you!" Kaku declared as he stopped his attack and lunged forward with the tow swords prepared to finish their fight
The wano native slid under the strike with only a little of his mask being cut before he quickly turned to finish the fight with an attack of his own. "One Sword Style: Flames of Hell!" Kinshiki yelled as he slashed Kaku's shoulder which then erupted in flames which brought down the giraffe as the man fainted due to blood loss and exhaustion
Kinshiki just sheathed his sword again before he knelt over and picked up the piece of his mask in which Kaku had cut. The piece was no bigger then a pinky finger nail and Kinshiki grasped it hard before walking to the ship. "I was sloppy." He finished
Alright I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! I decided to go in a little different route and focus this one on the rest of the crew rather then just Naruto to just add more character and personality to the other characters. I really do hope you all enjoyed and don't forget to review anything that you guys want to see! Anyways I hope you all have a good time and enjoy yourselves!
