Greece

Sitting in a coffee shop with Gus, Harley could see her lover nervous about this meeting with one of the people in who worked for the American heart association. Since coming here to Greece to not only start a new life with Harley, Gus wanted to look into what happened before his death when it came to the heart transplant. Before he made love to Harley on the day when the two of them came here to Springfield, he had a flash back to day he died in the motorcycle incident and a saw a text on his cell phone that he couldn't make out what it was, but from the beginning it said urgent message regarding the transplant for Olivia's heart. Harley decided to look into it which is why today the meeting they're having was important to him. It could help Gus and Harley solve another piece of the puzzle of what Gus thinks happened when he was taken to that compound. He didn't want to think of anything going wrong during this meeting with the man, who was actually in Greece visiting a friend of his, so when Harley called him up, explained everything he decided to meet with them surprisingly. Taking a sip of her coffee, Harley could see Gus was still nervous waiting for the guy to show up.

Harley - "Gus, are you alright?"

Gus - "Huh? Who me? Of course I am Harley why?"

Harley - "One because you are nervous and number two you haven't drink your coffee yet Gus. It's probably cold by now"

Gus - "Me? Nervous? Come on Harley...oh alright I will admit, I am nervous. This meeting could answer some questions that's been on my mind lately"

Harley - "Whatever happens Gus, we'll take the next step but for now we just need to be positive and focus on what's important. You know I will be there for you right?"

Placing her hand on top of Gus's, he allowed her to softly squeeze her hand as Gus smiled. He felt so blessed to have Haley in his life again after he came back to her from the years of hell he suffered while being held captive.

Gus - "Yes, I know that Harley, were in this together"

Gus learned in and was about to kiss Harley before a man walked up to the two of them getting their attention.

Harley - "Michael Vaughn?"

Michael - "Yes, that's me. I used to work for the American Heart Association till I retired. Miss Harley Cooper, correct?"

Harley - Yes Mister Vaughan, Harley Cooper, Private Investigator. This is Gus Airtoro, who's my partner, another Private Investigator"

Michael - "So you're Gus Airtoro? I've heard a lot about you from miss Cooper and your situation. Whatever you need from me sir, just know that I will do all I can to help you"

Gus - "Thank you Michael, have a seat so we can begin"

Michael took a seat at the table before he pulled the chair and sat down after Harley and Gus sat down themselves. Now the good stuff can finally begin right? Hopefully Michael had everything he remembered when it came to handling Gus's heart transplant so that Olivia could live the rest of her life. If it wasn't for that heart transplant than Natalia would not have married Olivia, the two of them would not be raising Francesca, or anything else that benefited Olivia when it's all said and done. If Olivia has Gus's heart, then who had the previous heart transplant that she was supposed to have in the very end? That heart transplant should of went to Olivia in the first place but now at least they were going to find out the truth. When the waiter came back to check on Gus and Harley who told him everything is fine before asking Michael what he wanted to have. Michael ordered a cup of coffee with sugar as the waiter nodded before he went back to make the cup of coffee. What they didn't know was that the waiter looked back at them before the guy pretended he put the sugar in after making the coffee. Instead he took out a small patch as he ripped the top of it up before pouring all of it into the coffee and then went back to the table to give it to Michael.

Cedar's Hospital

For one Ava Peralta (Michelle Ray Smith), as she woke up, opened her eyes and looked up at the ceiling, she could feel a part of her head ringing in pain. Groaning she looked around as her vision at first was blurry, but started to clear up. Ava could feel these tubes connected, wrapped around her arms and a small plastic object around her mouth. What the heck just happened? Why was she in a hospital? Not any kind of hospital but in Cedars Hospital? Ava's back in Springfield? How though? Ava must have been driving in the wrong direction be fore something or someone hit her? But what was it though? Another car, a mac truck, a full on collision? Does her mom and Natalia know about Ava's incident? They had a right to know, heck, she could of probably died but at least she wasn't drinking. Or did she? There's a lot for Ava to process but right now, she hated the thought of being at a hospital like this. Despite, Shaking her head, Ava's vision started to become clearer before seeing someone, a female dressed in scrubs, a nurse to be exact approach Ava and put her hand on top of Ava's. Ava moved it away before trying to take the small plastic item covering her mouth.

Leah - "Hey, hey, it's okay, you were in a car crash and brought here to Cedars. You're going to be okay"

Ava - "Too late. Who the heck are you?"

Leah - "Leah, Leah Bauer, now you need to relax Ava. Like I said before, you were in a car crash, thankfully though you're still alive"

Ava - "Car crash? Great, just great, after fighting for my life now I find myself here in this hospital. What a life"

Leah - "You should be lucky to be alive Ava, not a lot of people still get that chance to live their lives to the fullest. Everything will work out for the best"

Ava - "Easy for you to say, you've never dealt with what I had to go through"

Rosita - "Ava?"

Ava sees Rosita behind Leah, someone she hasn't seen before at first or has she. Then she remembered Rosita from time to time due to her visits to Springfield in the past. Ava also remembered she had a boyfriend who is Natalie's son.

Ava - "Rosita right? Your Rafe's girlfriend right?"

Rosita - "Yes I am Ava. I'm sure Leah told you but how are you holding up?"

Ava - "My head still hurts for starters but isn't there anything for the pain?"

Leah - "You just need to rest Ava okay? We'll call your mom to come down here but for now, just don't okay? Stay in your bed"

Leah and Rosita leave the room before Ava rolled her eyes again, wishing she wasn't being told of what to do. Of course, Leah and Rosita are staff for the hospital, they're just doing their jobs but Ava didn't know how she got here still? Car accident? Why was she driving here to Springfield? Was it to see her mother? Was it for someone else though? There were some questions that had to be answered but at least she was going to see her mom, whenever Olivia arrives. At least Ava remembers her mother owning a hotel in this town that has done so well called the Beacon Hotel, and worked hard at achieving her goal. Ava's family came first so she should expect Olivia and maybe Natalia, Ava's step mother to come in to see her. But Ava couldn't help somehow to think of seeing Leah out of all people when Ava first woke up. Despite how Leah sounded in her voice, she did care about Ava as a patient but it's nothing more than that right? It wasn't like Ava was falling for her which she isn't, but a part of her wondered if she was going to see her more in Springfield along with her family? Ava had to admit, she was starting to at least like Leah for who she is as a person.

The Marler Residence

Phillip held his jaw as he looked up still shocked that an angry Ross punched him like that with no regards. It was almost like Ross was nearly pleased of what he just did as Blake stood back in shock too. She's seen Ross get angry at times whether it was something Blake did, or Dinah did or when Ross's family was threatened, he would immediately take action legal wise, etc. But this, this was personal between Ross and a man who was his nephew, he was family to him and to find out about Phillip's actions behind his death made the man feel betrayed. Phillip on the other hand could see that he made Ross upset, pissed off, angry over something but then he figured out Ross knew about his nephew's role in his so called demise. That's the reason Ross punched him like that, and now here they are. Even when Dinah pulled up in her car and saw what happened she immediately got out and ran up before getting in the middle of the two before Blake joined him. Phillip straighten himself out as he slowly got up and looked around briefly, noticing some of the neighbors were watching what was happening. Great, now this could end up on Twitter, Facebook, social media, etc. because of Ross and Phillip's current situation.

Dinah - "Woah, woah, woah dad, what's going on?! What the hell just happened!?"

Ross - "Why don't you ask Blake and Phillip or ask Phillip himself? For a screw up, Phillip sure knows how to twist the knife in people's backs! He's done that so well over the years just like his father did!

Dinah - "What are you talking about dad?"

Phillip - "He's talking about the day he died and the reason he was gone for so long...because of me and partly because of Rick too"

Blake - "Your father knows everything Dinah about the plan crash"

Dinah - "Oh...that..."

Ross - "Oh that is right Dinah, and this son of a bitch is going to pay for what he did to me!"

Phillip - "Can we not do this here and in front of everyone? All I came here was to see you, visit you, and get to hang out with you"

Ross - "And not tell me the truth right? Hide behind it like a coward in sheep wolves clothing, is that it Phillip?"

Phillip - "I was eventually going to tell you, just not like this!"

Blake - "Let's just all go inside please, so the two of you can handle this like adults? We don't need an audience"

Ross looked around at the neighborhood, noticing how others were watching them then back at Phillip. Glaring at his nephew, Ross walks back inside the house with Dinah following him back inside, hoping he was going to be okay. Phillip came into the house before Blake closed the door behind him as all of them have privacy all of them need.

Ross - "Alright, you want to talk, then talk! Why did you do it Phillip? Actually, how could you? Why? I'm you uncle for god sakes, not your enemy!"

Phillip - "First off whatever or however you found out, it's the truth...I was the mastermind behind sabotaging the plane, hiring Rick who hired a mechanic to mess with the plane...all of it"

Ross - "So you did all of this behind my back, stabbed me from behind and pulled the rug out from underneath me? You know Phillip, your father would of done something like this...but you? Never in a million years would I imagine you pulling this off"

Phillip - "I knew you were coming to find me, I just...I just wasn't ready to come back home. There's no way I could of trusted you, besides the fact that were family"

Ross - "You weren't ready to face the music, you wanted to remain behind everything and not hurt anyone. I could understand that but...to have me dead-"

Phillip - "I didn't want you to die! Don't you understand that!? You would of betrayed me and have me taken to the authorities, to tell them where I was. Guess where I could of went to, prison, I was suffering with many issues and I just...just snapped. You have to understand uncle Ross, I would never want you to die...don't you believe me?"

Ross narrowed his eyes and looked at Phillip, seeing the guilt on his face, noticing how much he could see there was regret coming from his nephew. But all of this was so fresh for Ross that he couldn't believe Phillip would do anything like this. Blake and Dinah watched, regretting how all of this came to be, as they should be happy, glad that Ross was starting to rip into Phillip, but both knew Phillip changed over the years. Of course he had his faults but taking away Ross from them along with Rick was so cruel and now it felt like all for nothing. If Burke had just told Blake, Dinah, their children, everyone about their loved ones who thought Ross died earlier and not now, then maybe things between Ross and Phillip would have been better. Ross just couldn't shake the thought of Phillip committed a crime like the one he did. How he didn't go to jail after his return or when Ross was out just goes to show you that no matter what your last name is, you can get away with everything. Prison may not be good enough for Phillip this time, nah, that's too good for the man because he'll always get away with any crime the man commits. He could blackmail someone in the government and in the end, he'll get pardon out of it.

The Marler Residence

This had to be the saddest day in the life of Ross Marler after he heard Phillip's part in all of this when it came to that tragic day. Blake and the others must have been so devastated when they thought they lost Ross, all because of Phillip and Rick's antics. Ross was not in the mood for excuses right now and despite Phillip being honest, telling the truth along with everything else, none of it excused what happened. For Dinah, she didn't expect to see this when she came to the house to see her father. Back then, there was a lot of unresolved anger directed at Phillip, mostly him than Rick, when it came to Ross. So over the years when Lizzie started dating Bill and hooking up with him, Dinah couldn't see Bill fall victim to another Spaulding since her dad was just taken off guard by Phillip. If Phillip had just stayed away from everyone in this town and not come back, maybe Dinah wouldn't have snapped. All she was doing is looking out for her brother Bill, who's adult by the way and can take herself and didn't need Dinah to intervene. Things were better now between them all, but here comes Phillip who looked guilty but at least owning up to his mistakes. Ross though was just in too much pain as Blake along with Dinah continued to watch before she stepped in.

Blake - "It's obvious right now that the two of us are going through this, but you should be able to at least work it out"

Ross - "Work it out with this man who should be locked up in a sanitarium after what he did to me? You must be crazy Blake!"

Blake - "Ross please!"

Phillip - "No no Blake, your husband has every reason to be angry with me. I'm the one who made things worse between us and I need to fix it"

Ross - "And how in the world can you fix it Phillip? There's no coming back from this, you know that!"

Phillip - "You're right, that's true, there is no coming back but at least I have tried to stay on the narrow path"

Ross - *Chuckles* "Don't make me laugh like I am starting to Phillip. You're such a joke/"

Dinah - "He's telling the truth dad, he's been there for me, Blake, and the rest your children when Phillip returned. Phillip made bad choices and the one he did to you was unforgivable, there's no coming back from that"

Phillip - "Just like when you had my daughter kidnapped so Bill wouldn't marry Lizzie or be with her for the rest of their lives Dinah?" You hired a scum SOB in the name of Grady Foley, Cyrus's brother, the one who disappeared into thin air the past ten years? Remember?"

Ross - "What the hell is he talking about Dinah?"

And that was the moment where Dinah knew she should of just kept her mouth shut at the last part of what she said. Phillip committed his fair share of misdeeds in the past but it didn't mean that Dinah was sneaky clean while Ross crossed his arms and looked at his daughter. Blake gave Dinah a look to just shut up and not say anything.

Ross - "I'll ask you again Dinah, what the hell is Phillip talking about?"

Dinah - "Well dad...what Phillip's saying is a hundred percent true I did have Lizzie kidnapped"

Ross was shocked and stunned hearing the truth from Dinah, rubbing the back of his forehead, just speechless of what he's hearing. Dinah, embarrassed of what she just told her father looked down at the floor in shame.

Phillip - "Not only that I was the one who found my daughter when it was said and done. Your daughter also did that for selfish reasons, one of them was to get back at me, correct Dinah?"

Blake - "Phillip, don't try and excuse yourself from what you did to Ross"

Phillip - "Who says I am excusing myself from this Blake? Ross knows and I basically confirmed it for him. *Looks at Ross* "Uncle Ross, I am sorry for what happened. If I had just turned myself in, none of this would of taken place. I just hope that you forgive me in the end"

Ross - "Number one, don't call me Uncle Ross. You lost the right to call me that when you pulled this stunt on me. Number two, get the hell out of my house and don't come back, stay the hell away from me Phillip. Number three, you tell your friend Doctor Bauer that I am coming for his ass. You understand?"

Phillip - "Look I will just leave okay? You obviously need time to take all of this in, i'll be on my way out. Take care of yourself"

Phillip walks away and leaves the house as he opens the door. Ross and Dinah watched him while Blake catches up to him before he walks out.

Blake - "Phillip wait...I am so sorry you had to experience that today. Ross didn't mean what he said at the end, you're always going to be family to him even when he's just angry right now"

Phillip - "You got nothing to apologize for Blake, this is all on me and I need to fix it. But first my uncle needs to cool down so that's what I will let him do. See you around"

Phillip walks down the steps before he got into his car and drove off, away from the Marler residence while Blake watched. She felt bad for Phillip the moment he almost got into it with Ross, but all Blake hoped for in the near future was peace between the two of them. If they could be cordial that is and not get into any fights but nothing was for sure, and then there's the children. Jason, Kevin and Clarissa, hopefully those three don't try to follow any advice from their father after Ross found out by himself including Phillip explaining everything to him. Ross wasn't a violent man but he would make sure to go after anyone legally for hurting him or his family. Back inside the house Ross, while he's still angry at Phillip, he looked over Dinah and was embarrassed still. So Dinah explained everything of what she did to Bill and Lizzie when they were an item as the two sat down. Ross, despite being disappointed that Dinah acted in that way and used Phillip including others to cover her ass or to get back at, still loved her. So the two of them hugged before Dinah left the house. Needing some time alone by himself, Ross went upstairs to his office as Blake watched him, and walking into his office, Ross sat down at the desk and cried. At least it was over, but nothing could be the same again or could it?

Cedars Hospital

Laying in her bed still after waking up from the incident she just went through, Ava looked around still while Leah took notes of what she see's along in the monitors. Rosita was making sure the tubes that were tied around one of Ava's wrist was on so that it wouldn't come off until it was time for Ava to leave. Ava could still feel the pain from her head despite her being patched up and everything felt a little dizzy to her still, but at least it wasn't as bad as it was before. She was just thankful to be alive but still didn't know anything before ending up here. If she was in a car accident then who crashed into her? That's one of the things Ava wanted to know, even if the police were investigating the incident too. Did Springfield PD know about this as well? They should be here at any minute but Ava reminded herself to relax. She knows at least Leah would tell her to not move again. But for Ava, she just wanted to be out of this damn hospital and go right back home to stay with her mom and Natalia. Ava couldn't stay at a motel, not even the Beacon Hotel since her mother owns it. Out of the corner of her eye, Olivia and Natalia came into the room as Ava smiled at the pairing as Mel came in behind them.

Ava - "Mom, Natalia!"

Olivia - "Ava, honey, thank god you're okay!"

Olivia hugged her daughter who was glad to see her but relieved that she'll be okay. These two have come a long way of forming a relationship together as mom and daughter after the nasty truth came out about Ava, including Jeffrey's part in all of this.

Ava - "I was so scared when I woke up mom. How I got here, I will never know"

Olivia - "You were in an incident honey, you do know someone crashed into you right?

Ava - "No, who's responsible for this atrocity? I want answers"

Natalia - "We haven't heard anything from the person who did it since he's in surgery at the moment. The man's in circuital condition"

Ava - "Well whatever's going I just want to know. But I am glad to see the two of you

Mel - "I apologize for interrupting but I am Doctor Melanie Boudreau but call me Mel. You may not remember me Ava, do you?"

Ava - "Of course I do, this is isn't my first rodeo here in Springfield, Mel, but go ahead"

Mel - "Understood Ava. I called your mom and Natalie once you were admitted to the hospital. If it's okay Ava, I would like you to stay here for the night"

Ava - *Groans* "Seriously? I feel fine Mel, seriously I do and that's not a lie"

Olivia - "Don't you want to stay for the night and at least get better? Mel, Rosita and Leah can help you out if something bad happens"

Natalia - "She's right, not only that your boyfriend hasn't shown up as well. I'm sure he would love to see you"

Ava - "Boyfriend? Who are you talking about?"

Olivia - "Your boyfriend, Brian, he would be so glad, happy and relieved to see you. He's coming back from Africa since he's a doctor himself and joined the Doctors Without Borders"

Ava - "Brian? I don't have a boyfriend named Brian at all mom. Are you trying to play tricks with me?"

Natalia - "She's not lying Ava, you have a boyfriend named Marcus"

Ava - *Bitterly chuckled* "So you're going to back up my mother's blasphemous lie huh Natalia?"

Olivia - "Sweetheart were not lying to you. Brian IS your boyfriend, I called him earlier and he's trying to book a flight right now as we speak. You don't remember him?"

Ava - "Hell no I don't remember him mom and neither do you, Natalia or anyone else in this damn hospital or in this damn town!"

Leah - "Everyone, let's all calm down please. How about we just leave the room and give her some time alone?"

Rosita - "Leah's right but Ava, please keep what I put around your wrist on and don't take it off okay? We need that to observe everything"

Mel - "For now though, let's all go outside to talk okay? None of this back and forth is working out for anyone"

Olivia - "Alright, were going to let you be alone but we'll be back"

Ignoring what her mother said, Olivia, Natalia, Mel, Leah and Rosita left the room before Ava kept her eyes on Leah for a bit. She appreciated Leah being the one to speak out since Ava was getting more angry and more annoyed at the moment thanks to her mother. Olivia didn't mean to make her daughter more upset but in all honesty, Ava didn't remember the name Marcus, her supposed boyfriend that's on his way to Springfield. Did she date him before or anything like that? Why couldn't she remember her past before ending up here in Springfield? Where was her wallet or cell phone? Leah, Rosita, Mel or someone else here at Cedar's has her belongings so she could ask them. If Ava had one of those with her right now, she could maybe remember but right now she was too stressed out and her head was hurting. Outside of the room Mel spoke to Olivia and Natalia on what maybe going on with Ava as Leah and Rosita were watching, listening to them as well. Explaining everything that's going on, it could be possible that Ava has selective amnesia when it comes to other people in her life that matters. If she could remember Olivia, Natalia, Mel, Leah and Rosita, why not her boyfriend?

Greece

The waiter comes back to the table and gives the cup of coffee to Michael as he continues to talk to Gus and Harley. So far everything Michael told them about the heart transplant that originally Olivia was supposed to have at the last minute, was taken. Adding to Gus's incident that caused him to die and then he was a match for Olivia as she lived the rest of her life with Natalia, and their children. But if she didn't get the heart transplant before his who did it go to? Many people in the world despite how old they were or how healthy they are have these issues all the times with his or her heart, and at some point a heart transplant was needed for that person so they could live until the end of time. Olivia was too young to die and Gus at the time fell for her after he broke things off with Harley and Natalia. He didn't want to see her life go away, Emma didn't deserve to loose her mother. But the person who had the original match could have been a normal person who lived a normal life or someone with a bad history, a criminal that needed that heart to live so he or she can continue their careless lives. Taking a sip of the coffee from his cup, Michael then puts it back down as he looks at Gus and Harley after explaining everything.

Gus - "And so that's it? What else do you know?"

Michael - "I've already explained it to you sir, that's all I can tell you about the original heart transplant that Miss Spencer was going to have"

Harley - '"I think what Gus is trying to say is...do you know who currently has the heart Olivia was supposed to have?"

Michael - "All that I can tell you is that this man owned a couple of businesses. One of them was a meat store, the other was a strip club, but from what some told me is that this was the same man who had a bad reputation where he came from"

Gus - "Meaning?"

Michael - "The man served in the army before he was discharged for disobeying an order, then he was AWOL on two occasions. That resulted in him being convicted under a-"

Michael, who was about to take a another sip of his coffee started to groan in pain before shaking his head and coughing wildly. Putting the coffee down, Michael started to stand up before he fell to the floor which got Harley and Gus's attention, then everyone in the coffee shopped noticed it too. Harley and Gus stood up from the seats to attend to Michael, who was laying on the floor shaking, groaning in pain

Gus - "Easy there Michael, were here for you. It's going to be alright"

Harley - "Michael, are you okay? What happened?"

Michael - "I...I...I think it was my drink...it may have been..."

Harley - "Michael, don't talk too much okay? Somebody call an ambulance!"

Gus immediately remembered the waiter who gave Michael the cup of coffee and started to look around. Out of the corner of his eye, Gus saw the waiter who was about to come out of the back but immediately goes back in before Gus stood up with a quickness.

Harley - "Gus, what's wrong?"

Gus - "Stay right here with Michael until an ambulance comes alright?"

Harley - "Gus, where are you going? What's wrong?"

Gus - "Just stay there Harley, i'll be back!"

Gus took off and ran into the back of the coffee shop ignoring other workers saying, looking for the waiter who gave Michael that drink. The guy must of gave the coffee to Michael on purpose so when Michael starting drinking the effects, whatever the waiter put in it must have been poisonous. Gus ran back into the coffee shop and out there while Harley watched, wondering what Gus was doing but she had to stay with Michael. Outside, Gus looked around before seeing the waiter who was running away from the coffee shop, so Gus chased after him.

Gus - "Hey you, wait! STOP!"

Continuing to chase after the waiter and running past other people Gus felt like he was starting to catch up to the waiter. The waiter then picked up a chair from a table outside of another coffee shop and threw it at Gus causing him to duck. Continuing the chase, Gus noticed a truck coming up ahead on the side of the street. The waiter ran across the street before he was struck by the truck , causing the driver to immediately stop. The guy moaned and groaned in pain before Gus caught up with him, then stopped before leaning down and turning him over, pinning the guy with his hands as he got on top.

Gus - "So, what's a guy like you doing on the run? Why are you in such a rush?"

The waiter didn't say anything but knew he was busted for what he just did to that man. Harley, who left the coffee shop after the ambulance came for Michael, caught up with Gus before seeing him hold the guy on the ground and was confused from what she was seeing at first.

Harley - "The police are on their way but EMT's showed up to take Michael to a hospital. Gus, will get off of him!? Why are you on top of him!?

Gus - "You should know why Harley. He's the man who drugged Michael when he gave him that cup of coffee Michael ordered and thought of getting away from committing the crime, poising the guy. Isn't that right buddy?"

The waiter didn't say anything, nor show any other emotion but silence but cold hearted from the look on his face. Gus grinned, Harley was in shock when she heard that this guy was the one that drugged Michael, but it made sense. That man was the waiter who made the coffee that Michael ordered because he passed out. Though why did he do that? Does he know Gus and Harley? The two of them didn't recognize him except for just now when they first came to this coffee shop. They were even about to get more answers from Michael which could help them nail down the identity of the person who took away the heart that Olivia was supposed to have back then. The cops show up before they get out of the car as Harley and Gus explain everything to them before Gus got up, then the police arrested the waiter before placing him in the car. The police left with the suspect as Harley and Gus decided to follow them. Gus didn't give a damn if the police didn't like it or not but the waiter at the coffee shop who just drugged Michael has the answers that Gus needed. If he, like Michael knows anything then Gus doesn't mind asking the questions but since he wasn't a cop, Gus will have to behave like a good little boy and not cause trouble. Harley would make sure Gus doesn't mess things up but she wasn't going to hold her soul mate away from something like this that's so important.
