- To Shigeraki, thank you for your assessment. However, I have to suggest you read the chapters thoroughly again. It was never stated that the MC died, he was just heavily injured. I will also confirm this: During the time Vergil is the Amnesiac "Takeru Silver", he is basically in a worse condition than DMC3 dormant Dante. If you followed my story up until this point, then you already know that Vergil isn't at full strength, all the remaining power he had left was dormant, coupling with him suffered Amnesia before he regained his true identity resulted in his powers not worked properly, obviously he would suffer more than DMC3 dormant Dante, who knows exactly who he is and have not lost a single ounce of his powers throughout the DMC3 events. Also, he did not reincarnate as a Devil, he remained as a triple-blooded Nephilim, like I stated in the latest BIO update, and he'll stay that way.

Vol 5 Short stories:
*Story 1: Maou Shoujo's movie*
"The Dragon Overlord of Despair which brings misfortune to Devils! This "Magical Girl" Levia-tan will destroy you!"
DOOOOOOOOOOOON!
In front of me, a magical girl wielding her magical staff, caused the surrounding area to explode with her immense demonic power.
"Quit you babbling. Now, show me what you got", I said.
Right now I'm wearing a prop of the Boosted Gear Scale Mail while sitting on a prop throne.
Yes… I'm currently in a movie studio with the "Magical girl", or should I say, "Maou girl", Serafall Leviathan.
How and Why am I in this? Let's go back a bit, when the 2nd semester started.
"Vergil, it's an emergency"
I was checking the Boosted Gear in the clubroom, why others were playing trading cards. Upon hearing that, I immediately stood up.
"What, did Sirzechs and Azazel told you any new info of their findings!?"
"Umm, Sorry Vergil, no, it's not from Onii-sama."
Dammit…
"But I received a request from a Maou-sama personally. It's from Serafall Leviathan-sama."
From that girl huh.
"*Sigh*… What did she ask?"
"She's requesting to borrow Koneko, Gasper, and Xenovia, while Vergil is the main."
Main? For what?
"Hiiiiiiii! M-Me too!? I-I don't like to stand out~!", said Gasper as he screamed. He then ran to his box and hid inside.
"But, why us?", asked Xenovia as she pointed to herself. Koneko also nodded.
"It seems like she is in need of your special powers.", said Rias.
"Hard pass. Tell her I'm busy", I said bluntly.
"I'm afraid that you can't, Vergil. I already consented to Leviathan-sama", She said while put her hands together for a sorry expression.
…
I facepalmed immediately.
Can I get some solitude doing what's need to be done? I'm having enough problem with just Urizen.
"I want to go with you, but Akeno and I have to leave here for special business. We'll have Yuuto guard us. I have already told this to Leviathan-sama, so that won't be a problem. Asia, you will also follow Vergil. It will be a good experience for you."
"Yes. I will be going with Vergil-san.", said Asia as she nodded.
"So that's the story. I will now leave the rest to you, since I have to escort Buchou and Akeno-san."
I then felt Akeno holding my arm.
"It saddens me that I have to be away from you, but responding to the Maou-sama is something my Vergil-san would do.", said Akeno seductively.
"I wonder who consented without asking my opinion?", I said as I glared at Rias who is whistling while looking to the side.
"I know that you're displeased. But please don't be rude, okay?", said Rias.
You little…
"… Fine", I gruntly said.
*Remote island*
We went to a remote island by using a teleporting magic circle. There are no ship docks or even a hotel.
Hmmm, this island seems to be somewhere in the Atlantic or the Pacific. You couldn't even find a sandy beach. The scenery of this island is mostly dominated by forests and mountains.
"Now where is that childish Maou?", I asked, annoyed.
As we looked around…
DON DON DON DON!
We felt lots of tremors. Then, a giant creature appears while pushing down trees. Is that… a Tyrannosaurus Rex?
"Yoo-hoo~. Servants of Rias-chan~. It's Levia-tan~.", said Serafall. She's wearing her magical Girl clothes.
""Stop~ stop~.", she ordered the T-Rex.
"Tou!"
She jumped off the T-Rex, spun around in the air and...
BANG!
She landed face-first on the ground. Having failed to land on her feet, her pants were exposed.
She got up immediately, smiled, and made a peace sign at us with her fingers. But her face is covered in dirt.
"Be amazed! Serafall Leviathan, at your service!", she said.
… She has overwhelmingly high tension and an easygoing attitude, as always…
But enough fooling around.
"You better give me a good reason to waste my time being here. So what do you want?", I bluntly asked.
"Booo~. You're so rude, Vergil-chan. I called all of you over to help us shoot our film~"
She explained to us while posing. Film? What is this foolishness?
I then noticed a film crew with equipment coming to us.
"Serafall-sama! Scene 21, [The magical girl who gets friendly with an ancient dinosaur]! We got a good shot for it!", said the film director. He was wearing a a hat and sunglasses, holding a megaphone.
"Director-san, these people are the ones I spoke to you about."
"Oh! I see, so they are the Gremory group, who achieved an outstanding result in the Rating Game!"
"Well, the thing is, this film director-san over here thought, "This is it!", when he saw the fights, of all of you, from Rias-chan's group. That's why he gave all of you this offer~.", said Serafall.
"The truth is we are currently shooting a film version, of Serafall-sama's tokusatsu programme, "Magical Levia-tan", aimed at children. We would like all of you to appear as her enemies."
I raised one of my eyebrows.
"Levia-tan?", I asked.
I became confused after hearing the name of a show I had never heard of, but….
"…It is basically like a tokusatsu hero programme, that is currently highly praised in the Underworld. It's quite popular among children."
Koneko explained to me.
So basically, one of those cringy superhero TV shows.
"The setting is about me, Levia-tan, who is the ally of Devils and fights against Angels, Fallen Angels, Dragons, and those related to the Church. I will be annihilating all the enemies of Devils at once.", said Serafall with a pose.
"And how is that a good reason for me to be here? There are others you can pick", I asked with my eyes half-shut.
The director then says, while putting his thumb up.
"You are a legendary dragon, a holy sword wielder, a Vampire, and a Nekomata youkai! Yes! It's filled with the rivals of Devils! On top of that, all of you are known throughout the Underworld from the recent match! All of you are being talked about a lot! That is why I asked for all of you to act as the enemies of Levia-tan!"
…
"This seems interesting.", said Xenovia.
"I-I'm scared...but since it's Maou-sama's request...", said Gasper, hiding behind my back.
…
Did they just consent to this stupidity?
I then saw Serafall walked towards me. As she was right in front of me, she held her hands together in a begging expression.
"Please, Vergil-chan~. Help us make the film successful~", she said.
Why should I…
"Sirzechs-chan and Ajuka-chan already has information of "that" for you", she continued.
…
Hold on…
"How do I know that you're not lying?", I asked.
Hearing that, Serafall then took something from a magic circle she made.
It's an USB.
"here, this contains all of that has been gathered about "that" until this point."
I tried to take it immediately, but she was a step ahead and retracted her.
"Will you please help us~?", she said with a cheeky smile.
…
It took me a while to think…
I then turn around to the kids.
"Are the two of you also fine with this, Asia, Koneko?"
When I asked both of them…
"Yes, I will do my best."
"Yes, if they are okay with having me…"
They gave me their approval.
…
"*Sigh*… Fine, I'll help out as well"
"Yay!", Serafall jumped continuously in joy.
It was then decided that we would help Serafall and her crew in the stupid film…
For an important USB…
*Later*
GASHAN GASHAN
The sound of metal colliding. The filming began as soon as we agreed to appear in the movie and we are currently inside a forest.
I changed into the costume that was given to me…..
It's red-plated armor. Apparently, this is an imitation of Boosted Gear Scale Mail.
Initially, the director asked me to use Balance Breaker, but I declined. I will not use Balance Breaker for this stupidity. They weren't too surprised as they immediately took out this imitation from their package.
It's filled with weight by standard, but this is nothing to me.
Apparently, it is made using Devil's technology and even though it is very tough, they made it as light as possible. It also happens to have a high resistance to impacts.
The quality of the imitation is high. It can also emit sounds from the jewels, and slide open the mask as well.
"Giii Giii!"
Mysterious cries can be heard again. Doesn't matter if it's another T-Rex, I'll kill it if it dares interfere with my progress.
"Vergil-san"
Asia's voice. When I turned around…..
"D-Do I look good in it?"
Asia is standing there wearing a costume, equipped with ominous-looking accessories.
"Asia, what is that costume?"
"Yes, it's supposed to be a costume for the priestess who worships the Dragon Overlord."
Oh, so she's a priestess. If you think about it, she does look like one…
"Apparently I am the evil holy sword wielder."
Xenovia appeared. She looks like an Amazon warrior.
"But an evil holy sword wielder….. Fufufu, it might be a fitting role for a former Christian like myself who became a Devil on a whim."
*Sigh*
Here goes her thoughts and wonders about unreasonable things, again….
"… And I'm a maid."
This time it's Koneko. She's wearing a maid costume while having her cat ears and tail revealed.
"Why a maid?", I asked.
"The director wanted a moe enemy.", she answered. Not sure what are those dumbasses thinking. I feel sorry for the kids, but they're gonna have to bear with it for now.
"...Where's Gya-kun?", asked Koneko.
That's right, he's the one taking the role of the Vampire. Where is he?
"...I-I'm here.", said Gasper. I look around to see a box with two holes.
…
"What the hell are you doing, Gasper?", I asked with my eyes half-shut.
"W-When they were choosing my costume, I ran inside this box and the Director-san who saw that...[This is new! Alright, we will position you as a Danball Vampire!]...And that's how it is.", said Gasper as I facepalmed.
"Are you really okay with this?"
"Yes!", said Gasper in a lively voice.
…
You know what, I'm not going to care at this point.
"Everyone, after all of you look through the script, we will move onto filming."
We got an announcement from the staff.
Let's see where this stupidity will go…
*Scene A "Levia-tan VS Nekomata Youkai & Danball Vampire!"*
The filming began with Serafall flying through the forest, where the evil beast resides, using her devil wings.
"...Levia-tan, I won't let you go past here.", said Koneko.
"You must be one of those who are trying to resurrect the Dragon Overlord of Despair! What are you planning to do by waking up the Dragon Overlord sleeping within this forest!?"
Huh, Serafall sure is in high spirits.
"…..It's none of your business. If you are planning to get in our way, we will just have to eliminate you.", Koneko responded defiantly. She has good acting skills.
"Tou! Levia-beam!", she said as her magical stick fired of a pink beam.
"Magical Levia-tan basically doesn't use any CG, we try to get attention by having her act using her actual demonic powers.", said the staff member.
DOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
An explosive sound occurred in the direction the beam headed, and the trees were blown away.
"Just make sure no one dies pointlessly in the process, other than that I don't care", I bluntly said.
"It's okay. Serafall-sama weakens her attack when it hits others.", said the staff member. Good, I don't have to worry about the kid's safety.
"...You won't be able to take me down with that.", said Koneko as she dodged that.
"Amazing! To be expected from a Gremory servant!"
The director was also applauding.
"…Ugh."
Koneko acts by dropping on her knees.
"The cat Youkai-san! Now, will you still fight me!?", said Serafall, pointing her stick to Koneko.
"...S-S-Stop right there~.", said Gasper as he echoes his voice. His… box appears in front of Serafall.
"I...I...I aaaaaaaaaam a Vampire~!", said Gasper. He's so nervous that he can't even say his lines properly.
"Unlike the n-n-n-n-n-n-nekomata, I...I...I...I..."
Before Gasper could say any more.
FLAP!
A giant black shadow came into the filming area. I look uo to see a fat bird flying above us.
"Gii-Gii-!"
Wait… that sound… It's from that bird.
"Gii-Gii!"
It flew up, into the sky.
Hey, Gasper was taken away, high into the sky. Is that bird Levia-tan's familiar or something?
"That bird, what is that?"
"No idea."
Then the staff and the director had an ominous conversation
…
What did I say again? I don't have to worry?
With that in mind, I create a sphere of crimson demonic flames and projects it towards the fat bird.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The bird got fried immediately as one of its' leg lets go of Gasper Box.
After that, our lunch was composed mainly of roasted bird meat. I also learnt of the bird's race, the race called "The magical-birds of the Heavenly sky", Ziz.
Well, other than that, it tasted like chicken.
*Scene B: "Levia-tan VS Holy-sword Wielder & Danball Vampire Shogun!"*
"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin! It felt as though I was being lifted up! My body felt as if it was being taken up all of a sudden~!", said Gasper. I rescued him and I heard him crying inside the box.
By the way, the scene of him being taken by Ziz was added into the film because it was interesting.
It seems the director was "deeply moved" by the cardboard box Vampire being away by the giant bird; that he immediately decided to use Gasper again for the next scene.
… Well, this kid is the only Danball Vampire in the world who ever flew up into the sky, being taken away by the giant bird after all….. Rather than that, when I looked at the script, I realised that Gasper's role was changed into a "Danball Vampire Shogun"…
Then the location changed, to mysterious ruins. It seems like they prepared this whole ruin, with stone carvings, for today.
Levia-tan and the holy sword wielder, aka Xenovia, fight there. I lent my holy sword Ascalon to Xenovia. She still can't control the power of Durandal yet, and since the destructive power of it is insane, it wouldn't be a matter of filming any more.
"Holy sword Wielder-san! Move aside from there! I can't let you awaken the Dragon Overlord!"
"Fufufu, like I will let you do that!" , said Xenovia. She really is putting effort in acting.
"Here I come!"
"Bring it!"
They both moved quickly and sparks flew as the sword and stick clashed. That stick must be sturdy to hold its own against Ascalon.
"Ku, you are strong Levia-tan~."
Well, Xenovia is bad at acting. So it's time for the added emergency scene.
"Vampire, please save me~.", said Xenovia, calling for help. I look around to find Gasper, but I can't find him.
The camera focuses on the position where Gasper is located. Then—
"Munch munch."
There is a T-Rex which is munching and eating the box Gasper is in!
"Again!?", I shouted.
I then quickly make my way to the T-Rex, pried open its' jaws to take Gasper out. Then.
DOOON!
A crisp punch that instantly knocked the Jurassic predator unconscious.
*Scene C "Final Battle of Levia-tan. Resurrected, The Dragon Overlord of Despair & Danball Vampire God!"*
"Fueeeeeeeeeeeee~! It was stinky~! The dinosaur's mouth was so warm and wet. It was scary when he was munching on me~!"
Gasper was saved, again, from being eaten. He's crying again in the new box.
About the scene where the "box" was eaten by the dinosaur, again it was decided to put that scene in the film. Apparently, they decided to add Gasper in the last scene as well.
Now he's a God-class. Becoming a God-class being by being eaten by a dinosaur and taken away by a bird monster? Stupid.
"It's going to turn into the best film there is~. The part where you can't predict how the story will end, will be the key point for its success!", said Serafall.
Yeah yeah sure, whatever.
"Danball-kun! I will send your lines to you!", said the director. What he wrote was...
"Fall Angels," "Disappear Fallen Angels" and dangerous messages like that.
…
"What is this foolishness? Isn't this supposed to be a kid's film?"
"I don't want this to be a mere children's film. This film will change the World!"
…
What kind of film is this going to turn into…
Well, that doesn't matter. It will be my scene from here. I checked my lines. After Asia finishes her prayers at the altar, there will be a glow and then I have to appear, along with an explosion and smoke.
I'm really pondering why I'm even doing this…
What is standing out in the scene for the final battle is a big statue of a dragon! In front of that there is a ritual taking place to remove the seal on the Dragon Overlord and Asia, who is acting as an evil priestess, is saying her prayer.
"Dragon Overlord-sama, Dragon Overlord-sama. Please hear my evil wishes~. Please defeat Levia-tan with all of your mighty, evil power~.", said Asia. She sounds like she really is acting.
After the prayer, Serafall appears.
"So this is the place where the Dragon Overlord of Despair is sealed! Ah! The prayers have already started! This is bad!", she said as she confronts Asia.
"Stop your prayers now!", said Serafall as she aimed at Asia with her magical stick. Asia stood up while lifting her arms up. Now after that, the statue will split and I show myself, who's hiding behind the statue.
"Aaah, Dragon Overlord-sama. Now is the time for your resurrection~.", said Asia as the statue splits.
A flash occurs and the statue splits open while making a rumbling sound.
I stood tall as the smoke slowly dissipates.
"Who dares wake me up from my sleep?", I said menacingly.
Yes… I'm somehow following the dumb script, that was made specifically for my comfort…
I noticed that the director didn't say "cut". Serafall then appears in front of me, pointing her stick at me.
"So you have finally awoken, Dragon Overlord! I won't let you go to the Underworld! I will obliterate you right here!"
"What a fool"
I said as I project a sphere of crimson demonic flames at Serafall, but she dodged it immediately. After that, we started fighting.
"Dragon Overlord! I shall defeat you!", she said as she gathered a mass of Demonic Power and fired.
The attack exploded, pushes me back a little.
*Later*
Getting back to the story.
I was fighting Serafall for the film. She sure is strong, even when holding back. But I'm no weakling either.
I saw the staff holding a card saying [Good job on the battle. Keep going.].
"Not bad Dragon Overlord!", said Serafall as she gathered demonic power on her stick. As she shot it, she made a huge crater on the ground where it hit.
I retaliated with spheres of Crimson demonic flames and and energy beams of draconic energy. She dodged them all. Also, my craters are bigger than hers.
"Give up Dragon Overlord! You can't win!", said Serafall.
"Hoh? Still having a big mouth I see. In that case…"
I then dropped some of my blood onto the floor. Then…
ZUUUUUUN!
A complex magic formation appeared on the spot of the blood.
"What are you doing!?", said Serafall.
"Come, Vampire. Respond to my call of blood and serve me."
A box with immense magical readings appeared from the magic formation.
I then got a call from Gasper who is in the box.
[S-Senpai! This isn't in the script]
I responded.
[Bear with me, Gasper. This will end soon]
It only took a short moment for Gasper to respond in voice.
"Levia-tan! The Dragon Overlord and I will be your opponents!", said Gasper as he flew up very wildly while in the box.
"What movements! Is this the power of a Danball Vampire God!?", said Serafall, surprised to see Gasper moving so quickly.
"Now, let's resume, shall we?", I said as I joined Gasper in the fight.
We both fought against Serafall in the sky. Somehow, the staff was getting excited.
"Film that box and the Dragon Overlord! You won't be able to film a thing like this ever again! Those two are amazing! The box is flying and those two can keep up with a Maou!", said the director who was overjoyed. Keeping up with Serafall with my current strength won't be an issue.
Though if it's Sirzechs or Ajuka, I will be difficult…
We kept going until the director wanted to call it a scene.
*At the Theatre*
[That is how, Magical Levia-tan defeated two powerful foes, the Danball Vampire God and the Dragon Overlord of Despair, and brought peace to the Underworld… for now.]
The screening of premium filming session. The Gremory group and I, as well as Raynare, Mittelt showed up to watch "Magical Levia-tan: Rise of the Dragon Overlord and the Danball Vampire God!" in a huge theatre.
The last narration just ended and along with that, the film.
"Thank you! Thank you!", said Serafall as she was on stage, receiving applause from and responding to the audience.
Asia, Koneko-chan, Xenovia, and I all appeared in the film. Alongside me, Gasper also received the most attention. Apparently, my character is so popular, the director decided that the film will have an open ending. They are planning a sequel as well.
Which I will, wholeheartedly, refuse. I'm not entering another stupid movie.
"The film was quite good. Vergil and all of you did very well. Especially Gasper, who was amazing when working with Vergil.", said Rias who was overjoyed.
Due to Rias consented without my opinion, I condemned her to not sleep alongside me for a whole week. She did protest with teary eyes, but I did not spoil her by any means.
For some reason, I feel bad doing so…
Hold on…
Why do I feel like that?
It was just consequences for her decisions…
Right?
…
"U..Umm, Vergil-san."
Asia called me.
"What's wrong, Asia?"
"There are girls, who became Vergil-san's fans after watching the film. They are asking for a handshake."
"Hard pass", I refused.
"Eh?"
"I don't have time for them", I replied.
Getting into this cringy movie is already annoying enough. And I don't need fans or any sort similar.
Since I managed to get the USB, I'll let this slide.
*Story 2: Monster SOS*
It happened right after the filming day of Serafall's movie.
That day, Rias had raised her eyebrows at the guest who came to visit the clubroom.
"Rias-san, I have a favor to ask you. Will you allow me to borrow Takeru Silver-san?"
The one who asks with a mighty attitude, is the captain of the tennis club, Abe Kiyome. The Kuoh Academy's Tennis club president who descended from a line of prestigious monster tamers.
Rias answers while narrowing her eyes.
"I feel like rejecting the favor when you are the one asking me, but I will still listen to what you have to say."
At a point in the near past, Rias asked her help for the annual report about the Devils' activities. If was a hassle, asking Kiyome Abe's help, but we managed to pull through.
So what does she need today that involves me? It better not be another stupid bet.
Kiyome then continues.
"The truth is, my father will be returning from his travels. I want Silver-san to help me."
Help her?
"Ara ara, bullying our Takeru-san won't be allowed you know?", said Akeno.
As if she can bully me. There are worse things out there than a bunch of monsters.
"…This helping out might turn into a 'flag' for someone's death, it's Senpai after all.". said Koneko.
Such an omen thing to say.
Yet again…
She isn't wrong either…
"So what is this problem that requires Takeru's help?"
Rias asked Kiyome once again.
"My father is telling me to have a marriage meeting. I'm still a high school student. I told him that he is rushing it, but he won't listen to me….. My father is someone who makes sure he "follows through" once he has made a decision."
So it's another arranged marriage.
Hearing her story, the blonde-haired bishounen of the group, Kiba nods his head.
"I see. Abe-senpai comes from a monster tamer household with an ancient, and honorable, origin. So your parents decided to choose your groom immediately right?"
"That's exactly right. To be expected from Kiba-kun."
Hearing that, Xenovia speaks to the nearby box.
"Gasper. She seems to be a monster tamer. Don't you think you are the most fitting to be her consultant since you are a Vampire?"
Hearing Xenovia, I heard "Hiiiiiii!" screamed from the box.
"I don't want tooooo~! I won't be of any uuuusssee~!"
Gasper, the hikikomori, went inside a box today because he was scared of meeting Kiyome whom he never met before.
I've also been told that many individuals, who enrolled to the Kuoh Educational institute in many grades, knows about supernatural existences. Most would be human with special powers and background. I've never met them, and I might never be interested enough to.
Rias asks while making a sigh.
"So you want Takeru, to interfere in your marriage meeting or something?"
Kiyome nods her head.
"Yes, I want Silver-san to act as my boyfriend. I have already informed my father that I have a boyfriend, and that I don't want to have a marriage meeting. Then he told me, if that's the case, he is willing to cancel the marriage meeting under certain conditions. I just need him for that day and…. Arara, I feel like I'm suddenly receiving hostility now."
She was having chills. As I look around, the girls in the room all have dangerous eyes. What are they doing?
"Takeru-san as her boyfriend…..?"
"That can't be, even I still haven't…"
"…I won't allow it."
"I can't let you have Senpai"
"You can't have Takeru-niisan"
"Yeah, you are right."
Asia, Akeno, Koneko, Raynare, Mittelt and Xenovia all speak in low tone.
*Sigh*
So what will be Rias' reaction? Usually, she's the one who would be the maddest of all…
That's what I thought, but unexpectedly, Rias puts her hand on her mouth as she is thinking. Hmm, she doesn't appear to be angry.
She glanced at me once and then said to Kiyome.
"All right. I will accept that request, by receiving a price equal to it."
This is… unexpected.
All the club members were shocked, at Rias' unexpected answer.
And with that… I was forced to act as Kiyome's boyfriend to help her break off the engagement.
I really hope that there's no dumb condition to break it… but that was just wishful thinking.
*Next Saturday*
I and those from the club were invited to Kiyome's home.
Even though I was the one who was requested, the others insisted in following. Well, if they can help with anything, all the better.
When we arrived at Kiyome's residence, there was a giant western-style mansion in front of us.
The garden is huge, and the interior of the house is also delicate. It seems she lives here, by herself, most of the time. Both her parents are famous monster tamers who travel around the world for their work. When she thought her father had returned, after a long while, the matter of her engagement came up.
The place we were guided to, after walking the corridor connecting the western-style building to another building, was the indoor pool.
The others changed into swimsuits, I however did not.
"Ummm, Silver-san? Why aren't you wearing your swimwear?", asked Kiyome.
"Not interested", I replied.

He's riding on a large wagon, wearing a cape and a helm with a horn on it. He looks like he's looking for a fight.
"So you are the insolent one dating my daughter?", he asked with a glare. I then notice Kiyome put her arm around mine.
"That's right, Otou-sama. he is my boyfriend, Takeru Silver-senpai.", said Kiyome as I felt Rias was silently raging behind me. Kiyome's father then spoke without getting off his horse.
"And you're one of those fools who think that an arranged marriage will solve everything.", I said as I glared back.
"Hoho, quite a foul mouth you have. Very well. I will test you myself, to see whether or not you are fitting to become a groom for the Abe family."
FLASH!
Weird lightning flashes in the background behind him. It was the mark that signals the start of the contest.
The first match is the land monster battle. A rectangular battlefield created by making lines in the garden, and the battle begins inside it.
"The one I will be sending first is this one. Come out!"
The one which appeared is…a Snow Gorilla that is much bigger than the ape Kiyome has, Christie.
Uniquely, its' whole body is covered in scars. So this one has battle record huh. Interesting.

Putting its' hideous appearance aside, this is troublesome. Our mermaid seems to be a rather peaceful being. Facing that thing might be difficult.

Later on, there were shark fins and meat on the dining table. Well, that's a story for another time.

Our last match was the sky battle in the mountains. We got here by using the magic circle. Since we're deep in the mountains, we don't have to worry about humans seeing us.
Kiyome's father and I are opposing each other on the surface, which has bumpy rocks. If it's this place we can look around the sky, and there aren't things that will become a hindrance.
"Both of us will do the sky battle while riding on top of the monsters. Alright?"
He said to me about the rules.
Then, behind him, is a large strange-looking bird.
"Gyaaaaaaaon!"
The bird made a dangerous cry. Though compare to that old bird on Mallet Island, this one looks like a little chicken in comparison.
Standing next to me is Takahashi, the unreliable bird man who forgets in every 3 steps he takes.
"Fufufu, boy. It's good weather. This wind, this feeling on my skin, is definitely the one for a battle."
"Excited, aren't you?"

I make tight maneuvers in the night sky, before lowering my attitude to go down the dense forest below.
Due to my speed, the ominous bird stopped attacking due to having lost sight of my location.
We definitely got better mobility, but I can't personally attack the bird or that old man directly, doing that would be a violation of the rules.
As I flew around on the Takahashi Board, I suddenly saw a box nearby.

Is this perhaps…? When I open the box, Gasper was inside.

I then move out of the dense forest and fly past Kiyome's father and the bird.
"Oh so you stopped hiding huh!", he said arrogantly.
"What? Couldn't catch me on that obese bird?", I provoke him.
"Try and keep up"
I said as I flew around him and the bird for a few cycles, forcing them to spam fireballs.
As I flew a distance away, I grabbed the Gasper box that I had on the Takahashi board and…
"Gasper! That's your target! Freeze it!"
"Y-Yessssssssssss~!"
A red light comes from the box and the monster bird that Kiyome's father was on stopped.
DOOOOOOON!
They both crash down on the ground.
It's my victory.
*Back at Abe's Mansion*
"It is my loss. Looks like I have to permit your relationship with my daughter… I will cancel the engagement."
Kiyome's father still seems like he isn't convinced. Obviously, the last battle was unfair afterall.
After that, the battle was over.
Takahashi, who was my aerial board, seem to have forgot what happened, but as the battle was over, he seems to be rather happy. He is being healed by Asia.
"Although I don't remember much other than the strange feeling on my back. It was fun today. I want to meet you again on the battle field, Yoshii-san.", said Takahashi as he asked for a handshake.
Yoshii-san? Who's that? Nevermind, this bird's brain is already damaged. The unfortunate damage that Asia's Twilight Healing can't heal.
Kiyome then appeared.
"Silver-san, thank you for today. Thanks to you, the engagement was cancelled."
"No need to thank me", I replied.
Somehow, she's acting shy.
"Even if it was a sudden request, I was really happy that you fought very seriously for m-my sake."

"You looked a bi-bit awesome when you fought together with Takahashi and the others…."

"Everyone went home at once, to take the prize received from Kiyome-san's request. Items related to different types of monsters, which they would be taking back to the clubroom."
"Is that so? Let's go home then", I said as she nodded.

Rias in all the sudden, linked our arms together.
"Now let's go home together. Let's buy some taiyaki on the way back so we can eat with everyone. Fufufu, looks like it will be a date to the taiyaki shop."
"Taiyaki huh… not a bad choice"
We then left Kiyome's place and were walking home.
"….I feel the happiest when I'm like this."
Rias muttered something while hugging my arm.
"Did you say something?"
I asked, but she winked.
"It's a secret."
