Metro Bar

Double checking the bills and costs of the Metro Bar, Henry was hard at work as they say making sure everything is going to be paid for. The past couple of months have been really quiet at Metro despite nights where one of the customers gets too rowdy and in the end Barbara and Henry have to kick this person out. It didn't matter who it was, man or woman, they were not going to ruin Barbara and Henry's business. The two of them put in a lot of work to make sure this place is running smoothly as ever. One, two, three or whomever wasn't going to destroy what they created unless some kind of earthquake or a natural disaster destroys the Metro, then they would have a problem. For now though, things were good between them both. There was no Sienna, no other woman coming between Henry and Barbara. Their love was still strong but deep down for Barbara, who was in the office getting a lot of work done, felt that something bad was going to happen. Or maybe something good, who knows really? Hearing the door open, Henry looks up to see his friend Katie come in and right off the bat, he could tell something bothered her. Simon wasn't in Oakdale anymore, so what seems to be the problem?

Henry - "Okay Katie...what happened?"

Katie - "I come in and you're already asking me like I committed a crime or something"

Henry - "When you're friends with someone for years, you know them oh so well. Now tell me, what happened Katie this time?"

Katie - "Well before I say anything...let me show you"

Katie took out the pregnancy test from her purse and showed Henry. His mouth, his jaw dropped at the sight of seeing the test before taking it and made sure he wasn't missing out on anything or that his eyes were deceiving him.

Henry - "You're...you're pregnant? Katie Peretti Hughes, my favorite friend in the whole entire world is freaking pregnant?"

Katie - "Yes your honor, guilty as charged"

Henry laughed before he picked up two glasses and placed them on the counter. Then he took out a bottle of champagne and started to open it.

Henry - "This is great news, how about we have a drink to celebrate? I know you have to go back to work or whatever but nothing wrong with a little fun"

Katie - "Oh I don't know about that Henry, the worst is about to come and I don't know how to handle the situation

Henry - "The worst is about to come? What do you mean? You're freaking pregnant Katie, you are going to be a mom again"

Katie - "Yeah, i am going to be a mom again but I don't even know who's the father of the baby will be"

Henry stopped opening the champagne bottle and looks up at his friend confused, even surprised Katie had said that.

Henry - "Say what again?"

Katie - *Sighs* "Chris or Simon may be the father of my child...I don't know who it is Henry"

Henry puts the bottle down on the counter and saw how Katie was conflicted on what she just said. She didn't know who the father of the baby was between Simon and Chris? That only meant one thing, Katie slept with the man who she was once married to and that is Simon Frasier. Did Chris even knew about this? Because if not, Chris has a right to know but Henry knew Katie wouldn't a mess up her marriage to Chris on purpose. If anything, had to be the night when Donovan was going around town trying to mess up everything and get his revenge on Simon and Katie. Something happened and then Katie and Simon slept together. When Henry visited Katie and Simon as they told him everything, it started to make sense to him as they explained that Donovan used some sort of gas on them causing the two to sleep together. And now this pregnancy that Katie just told Henry started to make sense, as his friend just made a big mess. But Henry knew deep down she didn't mean to start anything. She really loved Chris and not Simon, Katie also put the past behind her with her former husband. Now this could open up another can of worms where one guy is the father and the other is not.

The Intruder

In her office, Emily, the owner of the Intruder, was working on the next issue of the Intruder at the moment and everything seemed to be lining up so far. She always loved putting out issues of the Intruder for people to read up on the gossip that's going on around in Oakdale. Sometimes there were interviews between whomever and lets say Lisa Grimaldi , the same woman who couldn't stand Emily at times and Tom's mother by the way. Hell, Emily still didn't like her or Barbara Ryan Coleman , her mother in law but all of them have been able to co-exist and get along. Now there were sometimes where they wanted to rip each others heads off based upon what they put in the Intruder. It wasn't her fault that her staff would come up with ideas to make the Intruder more interesting. Sometimes you have to take chances and take risks, Emily understand what had to be done in order to make the Intruder the next big hit. Even she at times was taken a back by other gossip magazines who say false things about her but Emily had to remind herself she's just doing her job. The people had to be informed of what is going on in this town when it comes to the drama. Hearing the door open, Emily saw her husband Paul come in with a stack of mail in his hands.

Emily - "Looks like someone has you preoccupied"

Paul - "Or something...the mail man came in with mail for everyone. Just when I saw yours, I basically snatched it out of the basket"

Emily - "Can't say I blame you, people can be so lazy by not getting their mail until the last minute"

Paul starts to look through her mail and sees what was interesting out of all the mail. Sometimes Emily gets junk or something big that happens.

Paul - "Hmmm...let's see what we have here...you got this...you got that...what's this?"

Paul gives Emily the mail she has and Paul points at the one mail that peeked his interest. Emily picks it up before she reads the address out loud.

Emily - "Paulina Carrera, Puerto Rico...I wonder who this is"

Emily opened the mail before she took out pictures of someone that she couldn't make out at first. When she looked closer at all of them, Emily's jaw dropped.

Emily - "Is that who I think it is?"

Paul walked around her desk and leaned in to see what Emily is looking at and even he couldn't see it at first. But then he noticed the person in the picture and for a guy like Paul Ryan, he's seen the crazy side of this town.

Paul - "Is that...Andy?"

Emily - "Yes...that is Andy Dixon and it looks like he's having sex with a mysterious woman...woah"

Paul - "Now there's something you don't see everyday...but this Paulina person...who sent it to you. Do you know who she is?"

Emily shook her head, no, she didn't remember or know anyone with the last name of Carrera. If she did, she would of know it by now but the picture of Andy Dixon was damaging to his reputation in a way. He was related to his mother Kim who's married to Bob Hughes, both of them were the patriarch and matriarch of the Hughes-Sullivan family after Chris and Nancy's passing. It was a good thing that the two of them didn't see this or they would of flipped on Andy. After everything that happened with Hope's rape, this is the last thing that they need to see. This is the last thing Andy needs to see, but why send it to her? Whoever this Paulina person was probably wanted her to put this in the Intruder, but would she actually do it? They always say that sex does indeed in certain publications, well unless you're Playboy which the Intruder isn't. If the two of them were just kissing and locking lips then that's one thing, but this was just someone who may be trying to blackmail them. Does this have to do with Hope's rapist or someone else related to the person responsible for violating Hope? Emily had the sneaky suspicious that things were getting more complicated by the minute.

Oakdale University

Natalie Snyder, the second daughter of Holden and Lilly, was seen leaving her dorm room and going to her first class for the day. Coming to college since last year has been an experience she will never forget, as Natalie has had a lot of fun but also had to work hard in order to get good grades. She always made it a goal to never have lower grades including a D+ or an F since sometimes Natalie can be off focus if one of her teachers/instructors never made the class more interesting. But besides all of that, she was enjoying the good life at college and bring her own person, being her own woman. Lilly and Holden both supported whatever decisions she wanted to make and at first, Natalie didn't want to go to school. She didn't have the motivation for it and felt insecure so talking to her parents, they both encouraged her to go to school so Natalie can at least make a difference and discover what she wants to do, so here she is. Approaching the building where her first class takes place, she notices a young man who seemed lost. Natalie couldn't help but noticed that he looked absolutely brand new to the college, so this was her first time seeing him, so she walks up to the guy.

Natalie - "Hey, having trouble looking for your first class? What's your name?"

Kayden - "Kayden Harrison, what's yours?"

Natalie - "The name's Natalie Snyder, what class do you have?"

Kayden - "Let's see...photography"

Natalie - "Oh cool, this is the building that the class is in, it's called Creative Arts"

Kayden - *Smiles* "Thanks, it's been a long day for m. It's my first day at Oakdale University. I just transferred here"

Natalie - "Really? Where from?"

Kayden - "From New York City University, there were more opportunities here than back in the big apple. Originally I am from the city by the way"

Natalie - "So you went to college in New York and you're from the city as well? Not bad, I guess you love it back there"

Kayden - "I do but sometimes it can be so boring, so you just have to expand your horizons out there. At the end of the day I am glad to be transferred here to Oakdale U. How long have you been at Oakdale University?"

Natalie - "Since the fall, I am a freshmen, but it's good to learn and understand the culture at the school. Do you have any other classes for the day?"

Kayden - "No, just this one and that's it. Earlier today I had two other classes so after this one, I will be beaten and tired"

Natalie - "This is my only class for today, I have two online classes tomorrow Kayden. How about we grab a smoothie after class and hang out you know? Get to know one another?"

Kayden - "That sounds fine to me"

Kayden and Natalie smiled at each other before they walk into the building then straight to their classroom. Taking the elevator, the two of them step inside before Natalie presses the number of the floor before it moves up. Leaning back against the elevator, Kayden looks at Natalie and smiles before she does the same thing. It was interrupted when Natalie took out her cell phone when she heard it buzz, notifying her of a text from her brother Ethan but when she answered him back, Kayden started taking a liking to her. Natalie's a beautiful woman and he could tell she's a very smart girl, but he didn't want her to get the wrong idea that he wanted her right off the bat. That would ruin any potential friendship or being respectful, cordial to one another when they attend classes together. She probably already has a boyfriend or some guy waiting in the wings ready to score until she breaks it off with him. As the elevator stops at the floor where class is located, the doors open and the two step off. Walking past other students Kayden follows her to the classroom which had a couple other students waiting for the instructor. Sitting down next to each other, Natalie explains to Kayden what to expect as the instructor comes in ready to start class.

Metro Bar

Katie could just imagine what is going through Henry's head such as what the hell were you thinking getting pregnant with another man like Simon Frasier? The man is her ex and now Chris was going to blow a casket fuse when he hears about this, but Katie knew her friend wouldn't think of her like that. Henry knew damn well what happened when she told him all about what Donovan's latest actions. Katie could not forget her mind being so lucid that night when the two of them were going to die in their minds, so they slept together. None of them were in the right minds but they still did it, they still slept together and there's no denying that. Right now she needed her friend's advice, for him to say something since she told her sister Margo the last time she left her workplace. This was weighing on her mind a lot since the day Katie found out she was pregnant, and now she's at a crossroads. Katie doesn't want Simon to uproot again and come here to Oakdale to be a part of their child if it's his. It wasn't needed but he could come back from time to time to see his or her child. And then there's Chris, he would never trust Katie again and may do more harm then damage.

Katie - "Well? I'm waiting Henry, aren't you going to say a word?"

Henry - "I'm...i'm sorry to hear about that Katie. Looks like you got yourself in quite a jam, but they don't know anything do they?"

Katie - "Nope, I can't tell both of them now"

Henry - "Why?"

Katie - "I am pretty sure that Simon is on an assignment or whatever he is doing at the moment. Chris, well, he's at the hospital and I could tell him now, but..."

Henry - "But what?"

Katie - "I can't do it right now...not when I just found out...and also we need to go through the process of me being pregnant"

Henry - "You're lucky Chris or Simon isn't here right now to hear this or they...well Chris would of lost it. He's always got it a temper problem"

Katie - "And he has a right to be upset, Simon and I slept together Henry. What if he already knows in his mind of what we did?"

Henry - "Let's not get ahead of ourselves Katie...how did Chris feel when you told him?"

Katie - "He was so happy and so was Jacob when we told him. That happiness is going to be ruined when I tell Chris, Henry, I just know it"

Henry - "Chris will understand after he's done throwing a tantrum all over the place. What about Simon?"

Katie - "Simon will at least be understanding as well but not throwing a tantrum...your girl sure as hell made things difficult didn't she?"

Henry - "Now don't beat yourself up Katie, I know how much you love Chris. You're not going to give up on him okay? When you tell him you need to be strong and just roll with the punches, okay?"

Katie - "You're right...I know what I have to do...anyway...I don't know want to take up that much of your time. I'll get going"

Henry - "Of course Katie, and remember if you need anything, just let me know"

Katie - *Smiles* "Thanks Henry, see you around. Good luck tonight at the Metro"

Hugging Henry, Katie let go before she left Metro's Club with Henry watching her from behind. Shaking his head, he knew his friend was getting into muddy waters but he'll always will have Katie's back. She didn't deserve to be judged by both men most likely Chris if he goes overboard with his anger. Henry didn't mind putting Chris in check and letting him know when he's wrong. Katie deserved Chris's wrath but the one thing Chris should not do is hurt her. Especially if the child wasn't his, she would still need his support. But would Chris be able to work with Simon if Frasier was the father? The two of them will need to put their egos to the side and be there for Katie, she didn't deserve to be alone because of this situation. And let's not forget Jacob, the poor kid growing up will still have his brother or sister, but maybe under a different father of the child. Outside, Katie went to her car before she opened the door and sat down before closing his eyes, starting to cry herself. There was a lot of guilt that Katie felt but she couldn't do anything but just prayed that Chris and Simon would understand. She couldn't loose both of them who meant so much to her.

Oakdale University

After class was over, Kayden and Natalie both went to one of the cafes to get some smoothies before they just sat down and talked about what they liked about class, where they are form, including what their favorite hobbies were, etc. It seemed that Kayden found someone who was similar to him when it came to what the two spoke to each other about. He didn't get the sense or the feeling Natalia was using him at all or vice versa. In his past Kayden could never trust anyone in previous schools when growing up due to the fact that the students made fun of him and could never get into Kayden. Even his past wasn't perfect, but he wasn't telling Natalie all of it, just bits and pieces of where he grew up including the places Kayden would go on vacation, etc. and it was something that Natalie found intriguing in Kayden. The young man couldn't mess up though, he couldn't make things difficult, he didn't trust Natalie with telling him everything else about his life. It was part of his life that's all muddy and not shown in the best of light, but maybe Natalie will understand when the time is right. Still drinking her smoothie, Natalie was in awe when Kayden tells her something she never knew.

Natalie - "You went to the statue of liberty once?"

Kayden - "Yes I did Natalie, when I was about sixteen years old for my birthday. That was an experience I will never forget"

Natalie - "That sounds amazing Kayden, I never went to the statue of liberty but I have been to the city myself and it's a great city"

Kayden - "I know, it has a lot of great attractions, maybe one day when you're up for it...we could go to New York City together. Then we'll go to the statue of liberty together"

Natalie - *Smiles* "Are you asking me out Kayden in the near future?"

Kayden - "Just as friends Natalie, I hope I didn't mean to come across to you like that because-"

Natalie - "No...no you didn't Kayden at all. Actually I would not mind that at all in whenever the time is right, we don't have to rush"

Kayden - *Smiles* "I'm glad to hear that Natalie, hopefully at some point we'll get to know one another better"

Natalie - "And I have no problem with that. You just got here to the university so I hope you have a good time. You'll love it at Oakdale U"

Kayden - "Thanks. Got any advice for me while attending Oakdale University?"

Natalie - "Make sure you get a lot of rest before your classes start the next day and don't stay up all night when doing your homework"

Kayden - "Thanks, I have a test coming up in Script writing, do you take that class Natalie?"

Natalie - "Yes I do but under a different teacher, though I don't mind helping you out Kayden. Just name the time and the place"

Kayden - "Sounds good, how about we make a toast...to a great time at Oakdale University?"

Natalie - "I'll drink to that"

The two of them smile at each other before they clink both of their cups together as they continue to talk. After his first day of school, it was good for Kayden to sit down, relax and talk with another student like Natalie Snyder about himself, as he felt comfortable talking to her. This was the beginning of something new and maybe even more than a friendship, but Kayden was liking Natalie...more than just like, but like like in a way where he could see himself and Natalie together in the near future. But they had a lot of time to get to that point in their lives where they can start dating and such. Of course Kayden, since he was brand new to Oakdale, didn't know that much about the history of the town. When Kayden looked it up, he thought it was just a simple town but of course, since Natalie was related to one of the prominent middle class families, the Snyder's, she could show him around town. Maybe tell him the secrets that she's heard growing up and going to school, high school, including college too that she still hears to this day. She didn't want to scare him that much but he should know, as later on when the two are finished with their smoothies they say goodbye and go back to their dorm rooms.

The Intruder

Paul at first was surprised to see the photo of Andy having sex with someone else in what looks to be like some cabin. The way that picture was taken, someone had to sneak on the grounds of the cabin quietly so he or she would not get caught. How could Andy be so careless and not notice someone took more than one picture of him as Emily looked into the big envelope to see more pictures of Andy and whoever this woman was that he slept with. Both of them were shocked to see all of this they were looking at, and Emily, despite her history with the Hughes family, felt bad for them. This could only mean one thing, either someone was after Andy or could be going after other people too in Oakdale. Andy could be the first victim, but Paul didn't really care about anyone else in this town. They were a bunch of smug hypocrites who always judged one another and Paul too, even when they were in the right as well. No matter what Paul could do, at the end of the day some of them would just see him as the monster, as the villain. Some of those same people who judged him deserved to burn too at the same time, but right now Emily still couldn't wrap her mind around it.

Emily - "This is unbelievable...look at all of this..."

Paul - "Whoever Andy laid in the sack with hit the jackpot alright...just look at her go all over him"

Emily smacked Paul in the arm for being insensitive and not thinking straight at the moment. Sometimes Paul could be rude, sometimes cruel to others but that was Paul Ryan so it's not surprise to her. This time it's the step cousin of her son in Andy Dixon

Emily - "Paul please...have some respect. Andy may have not seen this coming, and whoever sent me this...wants me to put this in the next issue of the Intruder coming out"

Paul - "Well...aren't you going to do it?"

Emily looked up at Paul then back at the photos before she put them down on her desk. Standing up, she walks over to get some water at the mini bar before Paul wondered what Emily was thinking.

Paul - "Emily?"

Emily - "I'm sorry Paul I just...I can't do it...I can't do that to Andy and his family. They would be embarrassed but also humiliating. Not only that, Hope was raped too Paul, she's going through a lot right now"

Paul - "And if you published something along the lines of that she'll get upset along with her family too. They'll be coming for your neck dear"

Emily - "Not only that, but I also made peace with Tom and Margo long time. Daniel is an adult, he's not a kid anymore but let's say the story is posted, not only will Tom and Margo have differences with me, so will Daniel probably. Tom will use the Intruder too if Hope and Andy decide to take legal action"

Paul - "You do make some fair points but so what? Tom and Margo, the Hughes family need to understand, none of them are perfect. Neither are you, at the end of the day I will support whatever you decide to do"

Emily, who finished filling her glass with the pitch of water, placed it back down on the counter. Taking a sip, Emily started to think of what's the next step which could result in a million of ways. Some of them good and some of them bad but then she had an idea.

Emily - "I got it...I am not going to push a story about this in the next issue of the Intruder. Andy is going to know what's going on Paul. Can you get me Andy's number so I can call him?"

Paul - "He has his own photography studio called Dixon Photography. When you go online, you should find the site, contact him by e-mail or by phone"

Paul hears his cell phone buzzing before he takes it out seeing a text message as he quickly replies back before looking up at Emily.

Paul - "I'll have to go Emily, a meeting is calling for me right now. Are you going to be okay?"

Emily - "Yeah, go to your meeting and I will see you later at home"

Paul - "Alright, just to let you know...you're doing the right thing Emily and I...support you. See you later, love you"

Emily - "Love you too Paul"

Emily smiles at her husband before she pulled him into a fiery kiss that even Paul loved. Heck, if he didn't have this meeting then he would of locked the door so the two of them could have their own private time. But they could always get it in at home later on at night when the children were asleep, as Emily lets go of Paul and gives him a wink before he leaves the office. Emily sighed though and leaned back against the door, as he still couldn't get out of his mind what both her and Paul just saw. There was no way Andy could know about this through the next issue of the Intruder, that's too embarrassing for him and his family. Hope didn't need that too, she was still going through the issues of what just happened to her, but Andy has to know before whoever sent this could begin some kind of vendetta against him...or maybe he already knows. Going to her computer, Emily looks up Andy's photography studio website, then goes to the contact section. Emily writes down the phone number before she called him but got a voicemail message, so all Emily could do is tell him to meet him at the Intruder ASAP when he can since this was an emergency. When she was done, Emily ended the call and sat back in her chair, not liking where all of this could lead to in the future.

END OF EPISODE 4
