A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.

Chapter 4: Bridging the gap [part 2]
Rukia sat at the rooftop of the Kurosaki's house. Staring at the moon, wondering what Byakuya is thinking, now that she's gone.
Is he angry…
Did he miss me.
At this thought, Rukia shook her head at the seemingly inappropriate way that random thought appeared in her mind.
Suddenly the cold night wind blows, causing her to shiver.
Rukia hugged herself for comfort.
It's been almost 2 months since she had lost her ability as a shinigami, and yet, her powers have not returned to her.
For how long will she wait. She does not know.
Except that, if she finally returned to Soul Society, she's going to face the penalty of her crime.
The crime of giving her shinigami powers to a human.
And the punishment…
Will be death at least…
She knew, but she does not regret.
Does not regret that she was able to save Ichigo and his family.

At the Karakura high school.
As Rukia watched Ichigo and his friends, she could not help but feel sad amidst that happy moments.
Love…
Friendship…
Companionship…
Are nothing but a saddening emotion…
"I guess I have overstayed in this world" Rukia uttered to herself, as she flee from Kurosaki's residence. Knowing that the hunters are probably after her.
"Glad you know, Rukia" Renji exclaimed as he swung his sword towards Rukia who is currently in her gigae, having failed to have her shinigami powers back.
"Renji!" Rukia uttered in surprise. For it's been a long time since she last saw her childhood friend.
