Chapter 41

The earth phase passed in another week.

Yuuji was feeling a lot better, however the mood was soon spoiled as he was called into the council once more along with Suiryu.

Suiryu himself sort of knew what was going on, they wanted answers on Yuuji's suddenly transformation. "What has been happening to you boy!" one demanded right off the bat.

Suiryu wanted to speak on his behalf, Yuuji was going to keep this a secret from them. He had worked on a good lie to use as well, yet his brother spoke. "I am going through an elemental phase. The dragon in me once had these powers, but lost them over time since he was going from host to host. But I ate a special grade curse, it triggered in him. Since then, I have been obtaining the other elements to consume. I just need three more to balance out."

No one moved in the room. Suiryu however snickered and took out his phone, taking a picture of these old men with their jaws slacked. "Elemental… how on earth… WHY!" another shouted.

"This is impossible for one to obtain!"

"Not it isn't," Suiryu said aloud. "Elemental is the basic and first jujutsu. It has evolved beyond modern practices to say the least since it was here before that was even created. If anything, this is the most primitive and powerful form of jujutsu. Sukuna had touched upon it, but never to the extent my brother has."

They still didn't move. The notion was too horrifying for them to wrap their minds around.

"In other words, he's gotten far stronger than before…"

"Yeah," Suiryu said and smirked.

"How much stronger…"

Suiryu paused as he looked to Yuuji oddly. "How do you feel?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "Same as before, why?"

"No reason," He turned back to the council. "Yeah, dunno on that one too. Unlike curse energy and divine energy, one emits that from their bodies. Elemental… it's ingrained into you, becoming part of your soul and doesn't necessarily emit any sort of aura. So… who knows at this point," he said with a careless shrug of his shoulders. "Well, I think we're done here…"

"Wait!" they protested. "We need to properly inspect him…"

"How?" Suiryu demanded. "How the hell are you going to do that when you have no idea what the fuck has happened to him?" he demanded in a stern tone.

"Besides, I am hungry, lunch should be ready soon…" Yuuji said as he patted his stomach.

"I could eat too, let's go. In fact, let's eat out!" Suiryu suggested.

"You're buying?"

"Always,"

"We're not done here!" the council protested.

But they walked out anyways. Yuuji snickered as Suiryu smiled as well. "I am rubbing off on you too much… normally you would be meek and humble, do as they said. Now… it's like fuck you, I'm going!"

Yuuji nodded. "I don't want them to keep putting me down and throwing 'you were the demon vessel to Sukuna' in my face every time I see them. Or if something happens to me, I get blamed for disrupting the balance of power or whatever…"

Suiryu patted his back proudly. "I knew you were my brother!" he said proudly. But then a pause came over him. "Say, Yuuji, let's do a beach outing soon, the weather is warm and I think we need some time off."

"Well we do have a lot going on…" he muttered. "I mean we still got the fifth hand to deal with. We haven't even begun looking for Sukuna's other belongings, not to mention the divine users have gone oddly quite… I don't trust it…"

"Me either to say the least. As well we got to get the other three elementals…" he sighed aloud. "Too much shit not enough shovels…"

"And how… despite being all powerful or whatever… We got it rough!"

"You got it rough, I feel like I have been living every teenage boy's dream at this point! Hot model, rock star…"

Yuuji froze. "Damn you, you have been!" he protested. But snickered. "You know, I think it's for the best though. I mean you probably have never done anything fun for yourself."

"Nah, but that's besides the point. Let's do lunch first, then, let's plan a beach outing, not the domain one, an actual beach… I've never been to one."

"Beach party!" Yuuji cheered.
