41. Chapter 41: Author's Note

Whoa, I can't believe I'm writing this. This story seems to have been going on for so long that I never imagined this moment to actually happen lol. (~5 years?!) It's an odd feeling. I feel like I'm giving up a piece of myself forever. Like what? o_o

Other than the fact that I will miss brainstorming and living in the Hunter x Hunter world, I'm truly glad we are seeing through with the end. Because guys, can I just say times are so different from when I first started this. The amount of stress and shxt I never thought I'd go through, like damn—I honestly thought I would die before ever completing this. So, I find it insanely amazing and VERY satisfying that I can conclude it officially. #proud

That aside, it was also fun watching the characters grow —both mentally and physically lol. I truly enjoyed every minute of this 😊. It was tremendous fun including every character I could and making this align with the anime, 'cause in my eyes that just validates the story even further. And as much as I would love to make a season 2 or a Killumi story with their roles reversed (because we still need more Killumi fics!), I honestly need a break lol. So, no guarantees. I doubt I will. (But who knows what the future holds).

I would also like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you guys who read, reviewed, favorited, followed—all of the above. You guys are freakin' awesome and the real MVPs. I remember always being stunned at the number of reviews I would get every time I posted this story, especially in the beginning. It was so refreshing and made me realize how valuable this was, considering there weren't many Killumi fics to begin with. This story wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for all the love, feedback, comments, and suggestions I got. (over 100!) *Breathes* With that said, I guess this is where we say goodbye. It's been one hell of a road with these two but I think now it's finally time to let them live peacefully. XD.
