-One day-

Stella's POV

"I'm surprised you didn't punch the guy. I would have already given a girl a black eye if they tried to get with Nate." Leah commented after we told her what was going on.

I can see Leah doing that…

"Oh, believe me, I wanted to. But Stella told me I couldn't as he was still living in La Push." Seth said with a pout.

"True, we can't harm humans as much as some of them may deserve it." Leah said with narrowed eyes.

I am currently having breakfast with the Clearwater family. I came yesterday with Seth and after leaving my luggage on Leah's room. Seth and I decided to watch a romantic comedy movie and before long we fell deep in sleep.

We've decided that I should just stay with them for the next few days until Kyle returns to his university.

I wish I didn't have to lie to Karen, especially after she's been so kind to me, but If I tell her It will only pain her more.

Nevertheless, it's best to remain positive and I'm thankful Sue let me stay in their home and I can spend more time with Seth and his family.

Today is a new day and I know I will enjoy my stay here.

Seth's POV

A few days have passed since Stella has been living in my house, and I'm having a blast! I love having to see her all day long, the only thing to make it better was if we slept together as we did back when we were traveling looking for her pack mates but I know my Mom wouldn't approve.

It's okay, one day I'll marry her and we can sleep together every day.

As happy as I am of Stella staying in our house I don't forget the reason why she is there, to begin with.

Kyle.

I felt my blood boil just at the thought of him.

I know Stella is an attractive girl, heck I've seen the looks she receives from guys in our school. But everyone knows we're together and they respect it and keep their distance.

Kyle didn't get the memo.

He doesn't care that we're together, so much so that he made moves on her.

I know Stella told me to not fight him but she didn't say anything about having a 'chat' with him.

Today was Stella's day for patrol so I knew it was my chance to visit a certain someone.

I knock on the door of his house. After a few moments, the door is opened by a certain brown-haired guy.

"Kyle." I said in a steely voice.

Kyle didn't seem to care about my tone and replied boredly, "Stella isn't here."

Before he could close the door on my face, I reply, "I came here to talk to you."

At my reply, he straightened up and looked at me in the eye, and with a mocking smile, he says, "What? You want another chemistry lesson?"

I didn't come here to joke with him, so I was blunt, "I know you like Stella, but she's my girlfriend. This is your only warning, stay away from her." I said with a harsh glare.

He didn't reply and with that, I walked away, back to the packhouse where I will wait for my imprint.

Stella's POV

Days pass in a blur and as I had imagined, I had really enjoyed my stay with the Clearwaters.

Leah and I only became closer as I stayed at her house and even Nate had to come over as Leah didn't visit him as often as she used to.

"Dang Stella! You trying to steal my imprint! You got your own!" He whined as he held Leah close while she rolled her eyes.

I giggle at the memory.

Sue and I hadn't had a chance to really know each other but after a few days of staying with them, me and Sue were able to connect and she saw me as her daughter.

"Thank you for helping me with dinner, Stella! I always wanted a daughter to teach her how to cook." Sue said gleefully.

"You do have a daughter, Sue." I say motioning to Leah.

"Leah doesn't like to cook, she will happily order takeout for the rest of her life." Sue sighed.

"Just the way I like it." Leah quipped as she read her book.

I loved spending more time with Seth, I knew I could never get tired of my life with him at my side. These days were like a preview of how my life will be with Seth in the future when we finally marry and live together.

After showering, I noticed I ran out of body lotion. I knew I had left my spare bottles at Karen's house.

I should go with Seth, he will get worried otherwise.

I use my superior hearing and smell and knew he wasn't anywhere in the house.

I thought of the day of the week and remembered it was his turn to patrol.

Leah was also gone, probably in Nate's house as he has been insisting that she should visit him.

I decide to go on my own and send Seth a quick text letting him know where I am going.

Once arriving, I use my superior smell to see if Kyle was in the house. After confirming he wasn't in the house, I use my keys and enter the house.

Karen wasn't home either so I go straight to my room and start looking for my body lotion.

The lotion isn't where I thought I had left it, I begin looking in the restroom and I find it in the cabinet. I happily put it in the backpack I brought with me. Once in the bathroom, I notice I had forgotten my favorite perfume, and quickly put it in the backpack. I begin looking in the restroom and closet in search of any forgotten things.

In my focus, I hadn't noticed that someone had entered the house and heard a noise coming out of my room and decide to check who it was.

"Well, well. If it isn't Stella." I heard a voice that halted my movement.

I turn around to find Kyle with an amused grin.

"Kyle." I state simply and decide to leave my search for another day, I quickly grab my backpack and make a beeline for the door.

Kyle notices my movements and stands in front of the door, blocking my exit.

I glare at him as he smirks, "Where ya going? We should catch up."

"I'm good." I reply curtly and get closer to him, intending to push him away of the door if I needed to.

"Well, I'm not good." He scowls and grabs me from the shoulders. "Why did you need to run away to your boyfriend's house? Ha, do I make you uncomfortable?"

I growl in disgust, "Yes, I am uncomfortable." I take his hands off my shoulders and glared coldly at him. "Don't touch me."

"Ha! Do you know how many girls are after me? I'm a pretty popular guy y'now. And here I was thinking of helping you out to enter my university." He smirks smugly.

"I'm not interested in going to your university." I shoot back.

Or anywhere you are.

At my comment he looks at me angrily, "You don't know what you are saying, I could make your life way easier."

Gosh, why doesn't this guy get it! I'm not interested, he really needs to get off his high horse.

"After all, you're an orphan. You need all the help you can get." He says, making me snap.

"I'm not an orphan!"

"Well, there has to be a reason why you're staying with my Mom." He looks at me with a sadistic smile, knowing he has hit a nerve. "Either an orphan or your parents kicked you out of their house."

"None of those are true! Not that it's any of your business! Get out of my way or I will use force." I threatened.

"Oh force? I don't mind a few scratches, heck I welcome them." He leers.

Not caring anymore, I grab his shoulder and use enough force to only get him away from the door.

He was surprised by my strength but soon started chasing after me.

I was able to get out of the house before he grabbed me from behind.

"Damn, you got some strength on those thin arms of yours. I wonder what else you're hiding from me." He whispers in my ear.

I feel disgusted from his touch and without another thought, I push my head back with force, hitting his face.

Not expecting that, he completely lets me go as he grabs his bloody nose.

"You bitch!"He yells, enraged.

I glare at him and prepare for the incoming fight. I knew I could take him on, I will do it in self-defense and hopefully, the town elders won't give me a punishment.

Kyle raised his hands about to punch me, and looking at his movements I easily avoided his punch.

He doesn't give up and throws more punches my way but I managed to avoid every single one.

Compared to shifters his punches are sloppy, his movements predictable.

Tired from avoiding him, I catch his fist and applying pressure I crush his larger hand.

He screams in pain and tries to use his other hand to punch me and I plan on grabbing it but another hand stops him.

"I thought I warned you to stay away from my girlfriend."

"Seth!" I exclaimed, not expecting to see him here.

Seth grabs him from the shirt and lifts him up, glaring harshly at him.

"Dude chill! I'll stay away from her!" Kyle yells, fearfully.

Wow, he's more scared of Seth than me? I'm offended.

"That's not good enough anymore," Seth replies coldly.

"I want you to pack your bags and get the hell away from here. You will tell your Mom you need to leave early and not tell her about any of this. I won't tell your Mom you've spent days harassing Stella."

Courage surges to him and not caring about his defeated state he says defiantly, "And if I don't what? You and your monster girlfriend will beat me up?"

I suppress a chuckle, his insult amuses me.

"I won't beat you up. I will report you to the police for sexual harassment towards a minor." Seth says and watches Kyle's face pale full of terror.

"You can kiss your scholarship goodbye after that." I say smugly.

"And say hello to jail." Seth finishes.

"Fine!" Kyle yells and Seth lets him go, Kyle scurries away inside the house.

I lean towards Seth and hug him, "Thank you for coming, though I had it handled."

Seth pouts and hugs me back, "I know you had it handled, doesn't mean I won't try to protect you."

I giggle at his cute reply.

"I'm so sorry for his behavior…" A familiar voice rang out.

I look at the source of the voice and see the sad face of Karen.

"K-karen! You're home early." I shout.

"I had a feeling I had to come home early so I did, and I'm glad I followed my instinct." Karen says.

Did she see everything? Did she hear everything?

Karen turned her sad eyes towards me, "I'm sorry my son bothered you, I could see he had a liking to you but I never thought he would take it this far." Karen sighs. "I should have put a stop to him as soon as I noticed his crush on you."

"It's not your fault! He's old enough to make his own decisions." I quickly say hoping she doesn't feel guilty.

"It is my fault, I spoiled him too much and he's used to getting what he wants." Karen says, regretfully.

"You spoiled him because you love him, you never thought he'd turn this way." Seth tells her.

"Thank you both for thinking of me, but that still doesn't excuse my son's actions. I will punish him for what he did." Karen said with more strength in her voice.

We were only able to nod at her.

"Stella…" Karen says turning to me. "My son will leave by tomorrow morning. It is entirely your decision but will you come back to live with me? I will understand if you feel uncomfortable and will prefer to live elsewhere."

I could feel Seth also staring at me waiting for my answer.

"You've been nothing but amazing to me." I say while grabbing Karen's hands. "This incident is not your fault so I could never feel uncomfortable. I'll happily go back to living in your house starting tomorrow."

"Tomorrow afternoon." Seth adds on my behalf.

Right, since Kyle is leaving until tomorrow morning I should wait until tomorrow afternoon.

"Yes, tomorrow afternoon." I finish.

Karen nods her head in understanding, "Thank you Stella."

"You have nothing to thank me." I smile.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow then. I have to have a serious talk with my son." Her face turned serious when she mentioned her son.

"See you tomorrow." I smile and with that, Seth and I go back to his house.

"Darn so you won't be living with us anymore." Seth sighs.

"We both knew my stay was going to be temporary." I tell Seth while hooking my arm through his.

"Doesn't mean I didn't want it to last longer…" He mumbles.

I smile and nuzzle his shoulder.

"One day we will live together, just the two of us." I smile up at him.

Seth's eyes soften at my remark.

"Yes, one day."

I could hardly wait for that day to come, waking up and seeing his face first thing in the morning. Eating together on our dining room table. Watching Tv in our living room and falling asleep in each other's arms only to repeat the same things the next day.

And looking at his eyes, I knew he was thinking the same thing.

One day…

And with that, the Kyle arc is over! (lol it was only 3 chapters but that's more than enough) Sorry for taking long, as usual school, work and social life have kept me busy.

Can't believe it's already been 42 chapters, talk about a long story. This was one of my first stories (and my most popular one) so I've learned a lot while writing this. Probably shouldn't have made it go back and forth in POV's at the beginning (the same scenes, just in different POVs) But well at least I learned. There are still some things that I need to add to the stories so if I had to estimate, there are going to be around 10-15 chapters to add and then I will bring the story to a close.
