These two are so slow...when are they finally going to notice it...
Freya sat in her chair in front of her giant window and looked down on Orario.
For a while now she had been in an excellent mood...not to say excited. She had had to hold back very much so as not to show her excitement, as she saw Ryuu in the pub for the first time after she left the hospital.
At first she wanted to greet and hug her like always...then Freya had noticed the change in Ryuu´s soul orb. Normally it had a green color, one edge lightly white due to her link with Bell...but now there was a white spot inside her soul.
And Syr had seen this more than one time in her life and she knew exactly what that meant.
Ryuu is pregnant!
The two soul orbs pulsed in the rythm of Ryuu´s hearbeat, in that early state, Ryuu´s body wasn´t aware of the change.
Syr wanted to cheer with her so badly, but she couldn´t reveal it...and so she waited. When the Familia´s went on their quest, Freya had talked to Hedin that she needed a special charm...fast.
She wouldn´t risk that something happened to Ryuu...or that small life that was growing inside her, if Ryuu would find out what the pendant did, Syr would just pretend to be surprised.
After they had returned, Syr had looked at Ryuu whenever she wouldn´t notice, Ryuu´s behaviour changed...but she still didn´t notice it.
Mou, Ryuu! How slow can you be! There is a new life inside you! Notice it! I want to talk to you about that! I want to cheer with you...help you think about a name...go shopping for clothes...geez...you mortals can be so slow sometimes...
Only as Syr she could live out that girlish side of her. But Freya also felt great joy, she was a goddess of Fertility after all. In turns she sent Hogni or one of the Gulliver´s to watch over Ryuu from the shadows, their job was easy. Crush and destroy everyone that might attack or try to rob Ryuu for whatever reason...no danger, for what Freya saw as her niece, was allowed.
Who knows...on of their children might someday become my Odr...

That went on over a month after their return...and Freya got restless.

Ryuu...notice it! You are pregnant for two months now, how can you not notice that?! How slow can you be...How can you not notice...I even made Astrea see this test-rod in town...wait...don´t tell me she is using it wrong? Gosh, Ryuu!
Having to wait for a new form of entertainment was something Freya wasn´t used to...it was somehow exciting, a form of sweet torture.
Geez Ryuu! Notice it! But...i-it´s not like I have prepared some clothes for the baby and gifts for you beforehand o-or anything like that...Mou...Ryuu you dummy...

But after waiting for two months...

Freya drummed on the arm of her chair in a rhythm that would say Ottar. "I am annoyed.", if he were present.
Her eyes hung on her mirror, watching the subject of her troubles, she was alone as always when she used it.
"Good morning Ryuu." She smiled as she saw Ryuu waking up. "I won-"
Freya stopped as she saw Ryuu jumping out of the bed and running into the bathroom.
"Oh morning sickness again...you poor thing...the wonders of pregnancy..." She chuckled.
As she watched Ryuu vomitting, she wished Syr could hold the hair for her.
Sigh...
She watched as Ryuu took the tiny rod in her hand.
I wonder why it isn´t working...what is she doing?
Ryuu did something with the rod and placed it on her stomach again...this time the crystal started to glow.
"Wow..."
Freya was speechless.
She couldn´t tell what caught her eye more...Ryuu´s expression or..her soul.
It was like a new sun was born...Ryuu´s orb shone so bright that Freya was nearly blinded by it. At the same time Ryuu´s face showed so much emotions one after another, joy, worry, disbelief, hope, fear, love, happiness ... and so many more.
Even if that wasn´t possible, Freya could see Ryuu´s thoughts on her face. "I am pregnant!"
"Finally!" She couldn´t stop herself from cheering.
It was about time...
Bell´s orb pulsed as he came running to Ryuu...it was like an explosion. Even Freya couldn´t say which of both was more excited. The flow in Ryuu´s soul orb changed...it concentrated more on the middle. Freya knew what happened, all of her thinking was focused on one point...protect your child.
You mortals are so fascinating...a new life arises ...just like that...
As Bell and Ryuu were about to hug each other, Freya waved her and and shut the mirror off.

For Freya it was an unknown experience, Ryuu was the first mortal that was so important to her, that carried a new life in her.
Why do I feel like a mother, an aunt, a sister and a grandmother at the same time?...NO! Not a grandmother! Definetely not! Ryuu what are you making me think?!
Bell...you did well.
Freya chuckled, Ryuu never had to know that she had watched what the two of them did in the night they returned from the hospital.
I have to say you two impressed me...no wonder she got pregnant from that...just what did you make out of my pure little Ryuu...Bell you naughty, naughty rabbit.
She rememberred well how Ryuu was in the first time after she had rescued her. Something like what they had done even to imagine was impossible.
You were so weak back then...so hurt...my poor Ryuu. How much happened since then, just look at you. You had lost everything...even your will to live...and now you have your mother back, you are married and you are pregnant...you are happy.
Were those ... feelings of motherhood?
I guess I´m as much your mother as Astrea ! Freya sighed. Oh Ryuu...what did you do with me...
Usually she was the one who influenced others ... but...that poor little elf who had lost everything...stole a piece of Freya´s heart. As Syr she had helped many people in the dark times, had in her own way prevented many from losing will and Orario from perishing.

Freya had made plans just in case Ryuu wouldn´t come to the pub today, she just had to see her on that special day.
After all, the young life inside Ryuu was the fruit of Freya´s labors.
Now that Ryuu is pregnant the question isn´t anymore will they have children...but how many will they have. I´m counting on you, Bell!
Before she finished changing, Freya heard a knock from the door.
"You may come in." She knew who would come in, that knock was unique.
"Lady Freya." Ottar opened the door and turned around after closing it since Freya was in the middle of changing, sometimes she loved to tease him like that.
"Ottar, what brings you here?"
"Lady Freya, I would like to talk to that boy, if that is okay with you."
"With Bell?"
"Yes."
"Hmmm...why? From man to man?"
"From warrior to warrior."
A knowing smile crept onto her lips. "You want to fight him right?"
"He is the strongest adventurer in the city."

"Yes, and I would like to give him an advice."
"I guess thats not only out of your good heart...you hope he will get stronger and you will have a stronger opponent to train with right?"
"As always you see right through me, Mylady."
Freya giggled. "You are good Ottar, I wanted to ask you that myself. I have to be sure that Bell gets as strong as possible...I´m curious how long he will need to reach your strength...or even surpass you?"

"Go talk to him, but wait until the day after tomorrow. I doubt that either today or tomorrow either of them will be able to have a clear thought."

"Hm.." Amid looked at the crystal orb she had in her hand.
Slowly the crystal ball changed it´s color to pink.
Amid smiled. "Congratulations you two, I can confirm that you are pregnant, Lyon."
The expression on Bell´s and Ryuu´s faces after Amid said that, was one of the few joys of being a healer.
Ryuu was lying on a hospital bed, her shirt pulled up so far that her stomach was exposed, her left held Bell´s right. Both were so nervous, so hopeful...it was a sweet sight.
Without saying something, both looked at each other, smiling from sheer happiness and giving each other a kiss.
"That to say..." Amid looked again at the crystal ball. "It looks like you are at the end of your second month now, it happened about when you two left the hospital."
They sure didn´t lose time after going home.
"*Hic*" Tears of joy filled Ryuu´s eyes and she softly placed her free hand on her stomach. "I´m so happy..."
"Ryuu." Bell kissed her again and put his free hand next to Ryuu´s.

"So Lyon."
"Yes?"
"As of today you shouldn´t enter the dungeon and try not to get involved into fights."
"Of course." She nodded.
"I advise you to come by for a chekup every few days, if your husband don´t has time, you can bring a friend or your goddess but not more than one person."
"Do you have any tips?"
"You need a lot of rest, don't overwork. You can still work in the pub for the next months but don´t overdo it."
Both nodded, it was quite cute to see them this excited.
"Also take this." Amid opened a small cabinet and took out a few tiny boxes. "This tea will help with your nausea during pregnancy.
She pointed at the second box. "Inside here is a special lotion, use it when your stomach starts to bulge, I recommend that you do that." By her last words she looked at Bell.
"Me?"
"Yes, loving skinship is important during pregnancy, it helps calming your mind." Amid opened the last box. "This is a special massage oil, use it together but be very, very careful when you massge her stomach and breasts."
"Why my breasts?"
Your breasts will soon become very sensitive, don't be surprised if they grow a little, that's normal. Since it is your first child, you might be confused with some changes that your body will make. The flow of your juices will change."

"Getting angry, soon after that sad and other things. Your body is in turmoil right now, but don´t worry, it is only a possibility. Elves don´t tend to have very strong symptoms."
Ryuu sighed in relief and lightly squeezed Bell´s hand.
"Mr. Cranel, there is one symptom that you will likely have."
"Huh?"
She smirked. "You will most likely become overprotective...very overprotective."
Oh I can already see that. Ryuu giggled lightly.
"One very important thing, don´t be afraid. Pregnancy is a wonderful experience, especially since it is your first. And that you are so young, most elves are way older before that happens."
She got lightly red. So...I will be a young mother. Ryuu liked that thought, it let her smile.
"One last thing, I´m sure you already know that but Mr. Cranel need to know it too. The chance for you to get pregnant again for around five to ten years is so small, that there are only a few records of it ever happening. Not a couple is known to have been different, mixed racy or not. It might be a trait of your race, maybe one of the reasons why your people have so few children."
"Five years to ten years..." Ryuu looked at Bell thoughtfull.
Bell couldn´t help but smile. "Let us manage this one first, before we think about a second child." His eyes were filled with love for Ryuu.

"Feel her?"
Bell and Ryuu got big eyes. "Her?"
"Yes, the rod you showed me turned pink, that means you two are having a daughter...why are you looking at me like that? Did you even read the note that came with every tool?"
Ryuu looked at the hands that were on her stomach, then at Bell. "A daughter." A smile so beautiful, even the gods of beauty would fade away against it, came to Ryuu´s lips.
He couldn´t help but grin as he looked at her stomach. "A daughter...our daughter." A small laughter came from him.
"Bell?"
"Ryuu! We are having a daughter! A little you! Ahaha...I can´t help but laugh...I am so happy! Can you believe that? A daughter!"
Overwhelmed by his feelings, Bell kissed Ryuu again filled with love.
Wow...those two really love each other.
"To return to your question, between the end of the fitfth and the middle of the sixth month you should be able to feel her movements. Most likely she will wake you up at night sometimes."

"Let´s just say they tend to get very emotional. You can bring one female friend, nothing more. Also I need to know if you would prefer the "forest"."

It´s a special tiny forest about the size of your Familia´s estate that is part of my Familia´s territory inside Orario, the trees were grown in a way that they would block any view from the outside. Most elves prefer this one, it feels more natural and helps calming down the childbearing mothers, that´s why my lord Dian-Cecht built it."

Together they walked slowly through the city in the direction of the mansion. They haven´t told anyone yet, they wanted to be sure that the test was correct. Both walked slowly, holding hands openly, smiling and giggling again and again.
Their hearts wouldn't stop fluttering with excitement.

"Yes?"
Bell grinned. "I am going to be a father...a papa! I can´t believe that...It is so wonderful."
"Ehe...and I am going to be a mother...it is...I can´t describe it."

Ryuu was pretty sure she felt loving gazes from heaven.
"That reminds me...maybe we could ask Haruhime for advice for the massage."

"She told me, that in the past she learned how to comfort pregnant women..it was...quite common where she lived."

"Ryuu I know you don´t like it when someone sees your skin or touches it...but this is important."

"Ready?" Bell looked at Ryuu, they were standing in front of the door to the Mansion.

They opened the door and walked in.
"Ah Ryuu, Bell, welcome back." Astrea smiled as they walked in, she was about to wipe the dust from a cabinet.

"Ryuu? Is something wrong?"
Ryuu looked at Bell, they had talked about how to tell it to the others, but Ryuu wanted Astrea to be the first one to know.
"I will call the others, take your time you two." He waved and walked smiling into the house.
"Ryuu, speak with me, what is wrong?" Now Astrea looked really worried.
"Mother ahm..."
Carefully Ryuu took Astrea´s hand.
"Ryuu?"
Ryuu slowly pulled at Astrea´s hand and put it on her stomach, smiling without saying a word.
"Ry-!" The eyes of her goddess got bigger and bigger. "Don´t tell me...you are...I mean...?"
"Yes!" A bright smile beamed on Ryuu´s face.
"No!" Astrea clapped her free hand over her mouth, she didnt know what to say...tears of joy came to her eyes. "Ryuu I..."
Ryuu just smiled at her mother, looking as happy as Astrea had never seen her before.
"Ryuu!" Overwhelmed by her emotions, Astrea put her arm around her only child, laughed and cried at the same time.
Both women enjoyed the moment, Mother and child united in a moment of pure bliss.
"Ahm Ryuu...a..a..and...wh-what..."
She whispered into the ear of her goddess. "A daughter."
"Ehehe...my first grand-child.."
Astrea never before felt such happiness.

Haruhime´s eyes wandered back and forth between them, Fina sat on her lap as most of the time. She had seen this behaviour in her past, the careful way that Ryuu moved now, Bell´s light glances to her stomach...those smile to each other.

Both started to smile like they had never seen them. "Yes..." He looked to Ryuu, who nodded. "Ryuu is pregnant."
Silence followed at first.
Hestia´s eyes became big. "Pregnant?"
"Yes."
"A...baby?"
Bell´s grin widened. "Yes!"
Her eyes wandered to Ryuu, who put her hand on her stomach, smiling.
"In your belly?"
She nodded smiling.
The penny finally fell.
To say they were happy would be like saying water was a little wet.
"Beeeeeelll! My little Beeeeeell! Ryuuuu!" A small crying form flew over the big table in the middle, pulling both of them...Ryuu very gently and carefull..into a loving hug. "I´m so haaaaapyyyy! Wääääh! My little Bell makes a grandmother out of me! I´m way too young for that."
"Congratulations Master Bell! Ms. Ryuu...and lady Hestia, you are thousands of years old..."
An idea came into Lily´s head. More Familia members that are smaller than me, yes!
"Shhhhh! Little supporter!"
"Preg...nant?" Fina looked up to Haruhime.
"That means a baby is growing in Ms. Ryuu."
The girl beamed. "A baby?! Aaaww they are so cute!"

"I am happy for you." Naza smiled in her calm matter.

Ryuu chuckled, Hestia was so similar to her mother in that topic. "A girl."
"A daughter! A small Ryuu! I´m so happy." Tears gathered in Hestia´s eyes. "My little Bell is going to be a father...and you will be a mother...I can´t say how happy I am that you two have found each other."
Carefully, Hestia hugged Ryuu and Bell so that her head was between them and whispered. "I´m so glad, you two deserve that happiness..*Hic* Until that day I can still see in my dreams *Hic* how you two looked as they carried you out of the dungeon..*Hic*..I´m so glad."
Hestia was shaking from her tears.
Ryuu couldn´t fight the tears of happiness that came to her eyes...so did Bell.
After the first surprise the Familia´s calmed down...a little bit.
"Hehe...so I was right with my guess about your room."
"Thank you for that lady Hestia."
"Ah not for that."
After that they finally sat down on the couches, since Fina sat on Haruhime´s lap, Chigusa and Mikoto got some tea for everyone. Hestia moved to her armchair, so that Bell and Ryuu had the couch for themself.
"Ryuu are you comfortable? Shall I rub your shoulders? Do you need a spare pillow? Do you want to put your feet up? Anything else?" Astrea walked restlessly around them.
Ryuu smirked. "Thank you mother, but everything is okay."
They talked about various things, would it be necessary to change the rooms around Ryuu´s and Bell´s room?
"Hehe...I have forseen this!" Hestia smirked.
"Lady Hestia?" Bell was confused.
"Aside from Astrea´s room, there are four empty rooms around your room so...well you know...feel free." She grinned a bit embarassed.
"Four rooms...that would be nice...like a dream...so many little Ryuu´s and Bell´s..." Astrea got an enthusiastic look on her face.
"Goddess?!" Now he looked shocked.
"A-A-Are you two expecting s-so m-many grand-children?" Ryuu´s face joined Bell´s expression.
Both goddesses shared a glance. ""Well not right now of course!"" Both grinned.
Bell and Ryuu looked at each other, holding hands and both blushed shyly.
They are so in love.
They definetily thinking about more children right now.
How many children will those two get?
So master Bell really is a rabbit...
The talk continued for a while until.
"So...you two want to go to the pub don´t you?"
"Yes, lady Hestia."
"Then go you two, if I am correct the break should start soon."
"Yes."
"You two keep us pretty busy, that is for sure."
"Goddess?" Bell couldn´t help but jumping back and forth between the ways he addressed Hestia.
"You bring us such wonderful news...and in a week you two will marry...well for the second time more or less."
Both squeezed their hands again and smiled at each other, Hestia was right, in a week Bell and Ryuu would marry in a church. With all of their Familia members and the girls from the pub, since they were Ryuu´s family. They would keep the wedding small, only the families.
You can really see how much in love they are.
I wonder how she will look in her dress.

"Now then goddess, we will be going."
"Have fun you two, stay safe...Ryuu, do you need an escort? Help? Me or Astrea?"
Ryuu showed a warm smile. "Thank you so much lady Hestia, but don´t worry too much, I am at the end of the second month...and I have Bell with me."
Both goddesses were already overprotective about Ryuu, so they needed another five minutes to convince them it would be okay.

"Ah Ryuu, Mr. Bell, hello you two." Syr waved as they entered the empty pub.
"Meow, Nyuu, white hair."
"Feeling lonely on your day off hm?" Mia grinned from the counter.

The other waitresses came into the room, now all of them were here.
"I wanted to tell you something."
"What is it? Not feeling well? Time off again?"
Ryuu shook her head.
"What then?"
"I..."
"Ryuu? You okay?" Syr had this special worried look in her eyes.
"I...am." That new motherly smile bloomed on Ryuu´s face. "Pregnant."

And then...
"Nyyyaaaa! Pregnant?!"
"Oh my! Congratulation Ryuu!" Runoa beamed.
"Pregnant?...Meow...MEOW!" It took a moment for Ahnya.
"Hooo...so you two finally did it...not bad little elf." Mia winked to Ryuu and showed Bell a thumps up.
"Ryuu..."
Syr looked...strange.
"Syr?"
Ryuu knew Syr for a long time and she would expect Syr to be happy, or shocked...but.
"Ryuu..." Without saying more, Syr walked to Ryuu and put her arms lovely around her, hugging her while she left room at Ryuu´s belly. "Congratulation...my little Ryuu."
"S-Syr?" Ryuu felt a drop on her neck...Syr was crying.
"A little you...a small Ryuu...a baby...I´m so happy." Syr burried her face in Ryuu´s neck and sobbed. "So glad..."
"Syr..." She returned the hug lovingly.
After they stepped back, Syr wiped her eyes.
"Meow...I don´t see anything...are nyou really pregnant?" Ahnya eyed her stomach.
Ryuu giggled. "Ahnya I´m only in my second month, of course you won´t see anything now."
"Meow! Then I was right!"
"Hm?"
"For over a month now you smelled more like white hair, Meow!"
"Ahnya...you could smell that?"
"Nya..actually I did too." Chloe raised her hand.
For some reason Ryuu blushed fiercly. "You both...smelled that?"
"Meow...well...there were days were you smelled really strong like white hair...mostly after full moon, Meow."
Now both had a reason to blush strongly.
"Nya...so Ryuu got knocked up..."
"Chloe...please don´t say it like that."
"So...you got pregnant, Nya. Ahnya has a boyfriend now...Syr has a big fanclub...Mama Mia is too old...only Runoa and I don´t have anyone...Nya..."
"Oy...what did you just say about me being old?"
To their surprise, Runoa blushed lightly. "Ahm...actually..."

"Ahm...I will go on a date in two days..."

With her special bewitching smile, Syr walked over to Bell and surprised everyone as she patted him gently on the lower abdomen. "You did well...little Rabbit." She giggled.
Bell was too shocked to react.

"Aaaaw come on Ryuu, most people gently stroke a woman's belly and congratulate her on her pregnancy. But no one ever pats a mans crotch and tells him he did good...that isn´t fair dont you think?" She smiled like pure innocence while she said that.
"But ahm...I mean...you just can´t..."
"Ehehe! Got you Ryuu!" Syr hugged her playfully from the side and rubbed her cheek on Ryuu´s ear, she really liked to do that...and teasing both of them.
They spend the whole break together in the pub, until Syr excused herself to use the bathroom.
"Ryuu?" They heard her voice from the stairs.
Everyone looked up as Syr came down with a big box in her arms.
"Syr?"
"Hehe...here." She put it in front of Ryuu on the table.
"What is this?"
"Weeeeell, we have this..." Syr pulled out a smaller box with a flame symbol on it. "This is a special scented candle for relaxation, which can be used either while bathing or when you are sitting in the room."
"Oh?" Slowly over the years, Ryuu got used to Syr´s surprises...a bit at least.
"Then we have this special pillow here and...this." She pulled out a long white dress.
"What is this?"
"A so called maternity dress...for when your belly grows."
"You...prepared all that?"
"And even more...I knew that this day would come."
Ryuu looked at Syr...deeply moved.
"Syr..."
"Come here you."
Both shared a loving hug, then Ryuu whispered. "Syr?"
"Hm?"
"Would you...stay by my side...when I...give birth?"
Syr´s eyes widened, Ryuu surprised her. Like that Syr would be the first person to see Ryuu´s daughter.
Tears filled the grey haired girls eyes. "Yes...Yes, I will!"

It was a long day for both of them, after they finally got away from the pub...the other girls didn´t want to let them go...Bell and Ryuu took a relaxing bath, using Syr´s candle.
As night came both layed down in the bed, Bell snuggled up to Ryuu, his hand under her shirt softly stroking her belly.
"Ehe...we're going to be parents..."
Ryuu´s hand joined Bell´s. "A baby...Bell...I´m so happy..."
"So am I."
They kissed each other full of love and slepped for the first time together, knowing that someone else was there...their small family.

But despite all of their happiness, a thought ran through Bell´s mind as they drifted into sleep, holding Ryuu´s belly oh so softly.
I have to become stronger...I must protect Ryuu...and our child...I will become stronger...

Deep deep down in the dungeon a monster turned to dust, an axe was put back onto a strong shoulder. The wielder was a giant of a man...or...bull.
He raised his head as if he was reacting to something. "Bell...soon we will settle this..."

Asterios turned around with his axes and went on his way to fight more monsters...snow whirled around his black furred figure...he was down on the 59th Floor...alone.

Authors Note: Hello everyone and thank you for the Reviews, the last chapter was meant to be a bit stupid but I´m happy most of you liked it. The next special ( can´t say when it comes) will be the Halloween special and it will be much more serious.
Next chapter we will see the marriage...finally.
And after that...you thought we were done with action? Nope we aren´t!
