A/N: This is the closest I'll ever get to writing a Beach Episode. Oh, and my Pinterest has an image dedicated to this chapter if you wanted to see it. Wish links worked on this damn site but whatever, (P.S. I hate drawing hands (T_T) ). Review Time!
To Cobb: It is true he used around 15% but remember, with Yuki involved his training with Full Cowling begun before the Sports Festival. And if what I've written and planned has told me anything, things are gonna get dangerous, hehe. Thanks for reading.
To Murtaito: Always great to know I'm maintaining a level of entertainment, and that final fight was alot of fun, especially since I technically got to write a bit of Monster Hunter too, win-win. Well, I look forward to your reactions in the future.
Enjoy (And remember, the rating will now be MATURE for dark themes and the like appearing in the future!)
Special - Beachside Suprise
During I-Island...
"I'm not sure about this..." Not that this was the first time I've worn something this bare but the circumstances are different. I'm not only surrounded by my friends, some with... more assets than me, but I also have a boyfriend that happens to take even my tactile nature and blow a fuse, granted, he's improved since then but this was the equivalent of shooting yourself in the hand with low caliber bullets to try and gain resistance to a higher caliber
|You're overreacting|
My brow furrowed as I stared at myself in the mirror, giving my smooth skin and faint scars a once-over. My mask sat on my right temple, I wore a two-piece white and blue striped swimsuit, revealing my past scars. I had a slim yet toned body, my peachy skin soft and smooth to the touch while I ran my fingers over some of my faded marks, running past firm muscles, feeling the nanomachines under my skin resonate to my fingers. "Gee, you would know, wouldn't you. Spending all that time at the coast, having fun with your fellow Fallen when you weren't trying to terraform Russia."
...I see your point | Though I am not heartless | Sundays were off days, even for Fallen
That was a strange but fascinating slither of information, but not helpful. Patting my cheeks I could only sigh. Then there was a tap on my changing room. "Yo, Yuki, ready to go?" I knocked twice then pulled the door open to find Kyoka waiting just as equally flustered as I am.
My eyes widened with a bright smile. Kyoka kept twirling her right jack around her finger to keep a semblance of confidence but she wore a yellow two-piece swimsuit, that shiny, silver music note attached to her necklace forever present. I had to admit, whoever said Kyoka wasn't beautiful really is an idiot, Akio really lucked out with Kyoka, her figure wasn't as 'out there' as some of the other girls but that suited her just fine.
"Wow, okay, yeah we are too much alike." She chuckled dryly
My sad nod was all I could give as we headed out to face the music. 'I know you're probably thinking the same way I am, but at least we have each other, right?' Seeing my note gave the rocker an eased smile, herself nodding in agreement with a nudge of her elbow
"Let's just get this over with, could use some time to wind down." Agreeing with her in the idea of a nice, relaxing day at the beach we made our way out into the sunlight beaming down upon us. The beach was abuzz with visitors, almost as if the events of Ravage were a distant memory, for me, that's how I intend to remember it as
"Ah, I was wondering when yoooo... wow." The meek voice traveled across from a small table, finding Akio looking at us from over a pair of shades, a faint, pink blush rising to his face while he cleared his throat. "Ahem, I-I... y-you look... amazing, holy crap..." I couldn't resist a smirk as Kyoka picked up on his faint whisper, seeing her jacks spasm while mustering the courage not to hide behind me
"...t-thanks, A-Akio." These two were just too cute together. But, as life would have it, karma comes full circle as my gaze caught sight of a familiar head of blackish-emerald hair approaching, setting four drinks down on the table, blissfully unaware of our presence
"Akio?" He waved a hand in front of the Nightmare Host's eyes, bringing a stutter to the boy as he smiled, taking his drink
"Thanks, um, you might want to turn around, bud - Valhalla awaits," He prodded his finger to his right at us, when those green orbs realized who was staring back I swore his world practically froze
Steeling my resolve I cracked a smug, toothy grin, keeping my right eye shut, a new note between my fingers. 'Like what ya see, Zuzu? Told ya I didn't mind the staring' His voice became almost inaudible, sputtering nonsense as Akio patted his back to keep him steady
"How the hell do you do that?" Kyoka hissed to me, her face still a tinge of red. "You make it look so easy."
I leaned down with a note. 'I'm sweating up a storm here, I know he stares from time-to-time but he's never given me a response other than this' A part of me was, strangely, worried if he did care for my appearance, petty as that sounds I am somewhat conscious of my body, sue me for being human
My next note was on the verge of materializing as Izuku opened his mouth to speak, drawing our eyes and ears to him. Though by now the heat on his face wasn't as bad. "Y-y-you lo-look..." He sucked in a breath. "You look beautiful, Yuki." He replied without an inch of hesitation, catching me blindly
Staring back at his serious gaze I couldn't hold back the boiling blood rising to my cheeks, stepping closer nervously to lightly kiss his cheek, smiling warmly. I mouthed a 'thank you', watching that stupid, dorky smile return that had my heart on the fritz beside Kyoka. Now I felt how she felt, unable to say anything while hopelessly falling for our respective idiots.
"How does he do that!?" A secret I must uncover, SIVA!
|No Comment at this present time|
"You're ignoring me!?" Why am I even remotely surprised?
"Move it, Deku..." An ever-so-familiar voice seethed behind Izuku, startling him to the side
"K-Kacchan?" He eeped as the red eyes snapped to me, so I looked the other way, pretending to watch the beautiful waves slosh to the beach
"Oi, you Mute Bastard!" There wasn't a second to breathe as the embarrassing moment was torn down by Dumb-Dumb's sudden arrival, flames cast behind him as he pointed to me, eyes without any desirable details. "Time to settle this, I'm going to destroy you at volleyball! So quit wasting my time flirting with that useless Deku and get over here!"
My sly gaze only increased. 'Wow, didn't think you want me to mop the floor with you TWICE while on I-Island, that's a record for you' That made his whole body tremble with fury, teeth ground against one another. 'Are you sure this isn't just to get back at me or are you trying to impress someone, perhaps, hmm?' I leaned closer, poking at his chest as he exploded with rage, but that faint tint on his face told me otherwise
"Wow, talking about pulling the pin on a grenade." Kyoka crossed her arms over her chest, eyes wide at the heat overpowering the sun
"More like you pulled the pin and threw it into a fireworks display," Akio added matter-of-factly, handing Kyoka her soda
"HURRY UP BEFORE I DESTROY YOU!" He soon snagged my wrist and dragged me away from my friends as I smiled and waved at Izuku's head snapping back and forth in shock, hands reaching out to my form as I was kidnapped
'Wish me luck, guys!' Guess relaxing will have to wait, but this will still be fun, hehehe
A few more pictures joined the rest on the bed. One was of Yuki and Mina against Bakugo and Kirishima in an intense match of volleyball, both sides looking like two dragons were ready to square off, the class watching with a mixture of cheers for both sides.
Another picture was of Mina and Yuki's combined power smashing the ball into the sand behind Kirishima. The one next to it was Yuki narrowly evading to the right as Bakugo targeted her blindspot, causing fright to rise to the girl at his explosive punch to the back of the ball.
The final picture was that of the four standing together, the score definitively tied. Bakugo was bitter but didn't stop Kirishima from putting his elbow on the blonde's shoulder while he gave the camera a peace sign. To their left Yuki and Mina high-fived, smiling brightly.
To Be Continued...
As I said, closest I've gotten to writing a Beach Episode, will I maybe expand on this trope in the future? Maybe, I dunno, guess we'll see. Hope you enjoyed, appreciate the support as always, seeya after the rest of my break, heroes!
