When Pacey and Joey were twenty-seven they found out they were pregnant. It all started when Joey wasn't feeling good, constantly throwing up to the point where she would end up falling asleep on the floor.
One day she realized that she was indeed late for her period, she paced back and forth until Pacey got home and when she saw him he knew immediately knew that something was wrong.
"Are you ok?" He asked gently as she shook her head. "I am late."
"Late? Late for what?" Pacey said completely clueless about what was happening.
"Pacey, I am late." She repeated herself. She was sure sooner than later he would get what she was trying to say.
"Again, I will ask... late for what?" He asked. Joey hit him on the top of his head a little.
"My period."
"Ouch." He said and then realize what he said. "Wait, are you... pregnant?"
"I... don't... know." She said as she walked into the bathroom and got out a pregnancy test box. "I was waiting for you to come home to see-"
Pacey pushed her into the bathroom a little as she laughed. "Well, come on Potter what are you waiting for?"
"It's Witter," Joey said with a laugh as she walked into the bathroom. "You will always be Potter to me." He said with a smirk.
Joey found herself blushing a little and then realize she wasn't going to pee with him just standing there.
"Um, Pacey. I kind of have to pee to find out the results."
"Right." He said as he walked out of the bathroom.
A minute later, he asked her if she needed any help and she said she just pees on a stick and that she has done it before.
"When have you done this before?" He asked confused as he heard her flush the toilet.
Joey opened the door and smiled. "Like ten years ago." She whispered as she sat on the floor with the test in her hands and her phone timer on the floor.
"Where was I?" He asked.
"On your fishing trip.." Joey answered as she put her head on his shoulder.
"Pace?"
"Yeah?" He answered.
"Are we ready for this?" She asked.
"I guess we will see in a minute and a half." He answered as he stared at Joey's phone counting down the time.
She lifted her head up and stared into his Pacey's beautiful blue eyes. He is perfect.
"I hope they have your eyes." She whispered. "Really because I always hope your eyes."
"My eyes?" She asked. "Yeah they are brown but in the light they super green. It's one of the things I love most about you."
"Really?"
"That and your smile." He whispered as their forehead clash together.
They were silent for a few seconds until they heard the timer.
"You ready for our future?" Pacey asked.
"You look I can't," Joey said while handing him the test. "Two lines?"
"Two lines," Joey said as Pacey looked at the test, he smiled brightly.
"We are going to be parents, Jo." He whispered with tears in his eyes.
"You're joking?!" Joey said as she stared at the test sure enough two dark lines had formed on there. She smiled as Pacey's lips crash into hers.
"Hi, Mom." He whispered as she had tears coming down like Pacey himself.
"Hi, Dad," Joey said and then their lips crashed against one another.
