Gotham City || Gotham Academy March 23, 13:30 EDT ||

Tim smiles in amusement while watching his crush joining the competition. The cream-haired girl shook her head with a smirk. "Timmy, how long are you going to stare like a lovesick fool?"

She dark orange eyes with short cream-colored hair fastened with two red clips on either side of her head.

"I'm not a lovesick fool, Lyds." Tim defended himself and Lydia gives him a pointed look. "I feel sorry for the others."

Zara is joining an eating competition to see which contestants can last long to eat. It's only her and the boy left to eat more. No one apart from Lydia and Tim knows Zara has a bottomless stomach.

"How is she?" Lydia asked Tim worriedly. "I don't know Artemis very well as Zara does. How is she coping?"

Lydia is part of the Team under her alias 'Hera' her mentor is Arthur to train her abilities. She rarely joins the mission because Lydia is helping Arthur to look after Aaliyah.

"Faking all her emotions." Tim answered truthfully while crossing his arms. "She's masking her feelings and I hate it."

Lydia nods her head in understanding and patting his shoulder. "That's why Arthur allowed me to come back and help you guys out."

"We miss you keeping Zara on the line." Smiling softly and flinch at her usual mischief look. "Why do I have a feeling you're plotting something?"

"What kind of plotting are you talking about?" Lydia asked innocently and batting her eyelash at him. "I have no idea what you're talking about T."

"Liar."

Lydia rolls her eyes and scoffs. "I'm Zara's best friend and your wing-woman to get your girl."

"Lydia!" Tim covers her mouth and blushed slightly. "Hush!"

The cream-haired girl pushes his hand away and her eyes blaze with determination. "I'm rooting Timara and no one is going to break my ships!"

He flinches and steps back nervously by Lydia's declaration. Lydia knows Tim likes Zara more than a friend when they meet each other through Dick and Ruby. Zara is a special girl who's always bold, confident and speaks out of her mind without hesitation. The blonde mage has her perseverance and ensures the safety of her team and other people. Ever since Artemis died, Zara is on leave temporary until she's ready to get back to the Team again. It wasn't the first time Zara leaving the Team whenever her emotions are compromised.

"Timara?" Tim asked Lydia with a skeptical look on his face.

"Yours and Zara's shipping name." Lydia answered bluntly and runs away from him while he chases her.

Mount Justice || March 23, 21:05 EDT ||

"Nightwing, why don't I take it from here and look after them?" Saber suggested and Nightwing shook his head. "It's getting late and you work yourself too hard. Ruby is worried about you."

"I know." Nightwing sighs softly and smiling lighting at him. "Did Ruby ask you to switch places?"

"No I-" He was cut off by the AI.

"Recognized: Blue Bettle, B-2-2, Impulse, B-2-3"

Impulse laughs happily. "Haha! Left them in the dust!" He exclaimed happily.

"Left who in the dust?" Saber asked them curiously. "What do you have in your ha-"

"No freaking way!" He squeals happily. "It's the mighty Saber in the flesh! One of my favorite heroes! You have an amazing-"

Saber coughs and gives him a pointed look not to change the subject. "You're changing the subject."

"Sorry." Impulse smiles sheepishly. "Souvenir." He answered.

"Souvenirs are Beast Boy's thing, èse." Blue Bettle pointed out bluntly.

"Really? Thought it was Kid Flash..."

"Can we get to it?" Nightwing breaks them up and wanting to go home badly to see his family.

Blue Bettle clears his throat. "Sorry. Aqualad attacked us with Icicle Jr... the Terror Twins and a ninja I didn't recognize." He explained their brief encounter.

Impulse showed them the device. "This is how they tracked Blue. I made sure they couldn't do it again." The future speedster commented.

Saber sighs softly. "How will you know? That device is foreign and possibly an alien tech. You brought here without consulting us first. It's a rookie mistake." He lectured Impulse.

Nightwing sighs annoyingly. "Saber is right. Give it here." Impulse handed the device to him and he immediately scans it.

Saber scratches his neck and exhales softly. "You're giving him another extra job when I was supposed to switch places with him." He spoke softly and they smile sheepishly.

"Sorry, Saber." Impulse apologize.

"Don't be-" He froze as his face turned serious. "Ambush! Five of them!" Saber yelled.

They hear the computer beeps and Arthur immediately catches Superboy. The blond boy puts him down and grabs the unknown female leg before throwing her towards Tommy. He summons his swords and clashes against her sword.

"Saber, behind you!" Blue Bettle yelled.

Someone put a collar on Saber and shock him completely. His entire world goes dark.

Luminous and Celestial are immediately aid Mal's help as he heard his emergency call. The girls gasp in shock to see their second home, Mount Justice is destroyed by someone. "Who would do such a thing?" Celestial asked in a hushed tone.

"I have no idea, Cel." Luminous answered with a disbelief look on her face.

"Celestial and Luminous!" Both turn around to face Mal. "Help me out. Lu, can you sense any presence in here?"

"I-I'll try." Luminous stuttered nervously and exhales softly. Closing her eyes to tune them out before opening it. "I sense Wolf, Superboy, Nightwing and-" They heard a whirring sound. "Sphere."

"The rest?" Mal asked her curiously.

"Once we find them." Celestial answered and summoning Sora. "Search from the skies if you see them, Sora."

"I found them and they're in the ocean." Sora answered and points them straight.

Celestial's clothes changed into Sora's form as she followed the bird spirit. Luminous carried Mal as they followed as well. The three of them stop to see Nightwing and Superboy are unconscious.

"Nightwing!" Celestial cried out his name and carried him.

"Superboy, wake up!" Mal yelled and giving Sora a look to wake Superboy.

Sora uses his wing to blow the water towards Superboy and he gasps in shock. "Wha-what?" He stuttered.

"Questions later." Sora spoke up and lowering his body. "Ride on me and grab Wolf. The S-Cyle's sinking." He explained calmly. Superboy immediately grabs Wolf and rides on Sora's back.

"Will Sphere be okay?" Mal asked Superboy worriedly.

"Uh, yeah, I think so." Superboy stuttered. "She folds up to heal. We need to go on the shore."

"Where are the others, Superboy?" Luminous asked him worriedly. "Saber is supposed to switch Nightwing's job for tonight."

Superboy looked away sadly. "They captured them." He answered with a sorrowful look on his face.

"What?" Celestial asked in a hushed tone while they're flying. "Them who?"

"Saber, Impulse, Beast Boy and Blue Bettle."

Salem || March 24 2:30 EDT ||

"Why did he has to go extreme for this?" Ruby asked worriedly and hugging her arms. "It's not only Lagoon Boy they have but also Arthur, Garfield, Bart and Jamie"

Zara pursed her lips and looking at the scarlet-haired girl. "That's the reason why he traded my place. My life is going to be more in danger if Lust and Magnus have me."

"Do you think Kaldur would spill Arthur's magic?" She asked Zara curiously.

"No, because Arthur rarely joins us and let people assume his sword is magical." The blonde mage answered. "He wanted his magic to keep it a secret until it's time for him to reveal it."

Ruby looks worried and staring at the table in deep thoughts. "I hate waiting and Arthur wanted to make sure they gathered enough information to bring them down."

"Once we sabotage them, it's also time for us to destroy the anima." Zara exhales and reverting her Exceed back. "I wish Nightwing has an idea to find our new HQ especially a few of them don't have their own home."

Ruby remained silent and pray for everyone's safety. They trust Arthur's judgment to ensure everyone's safety.
