A/N: I know that this chapter has been long overdue, I just couldn't come up with an appropriate ending for this series or well in my case, I just wanted an epilogue that was perfect. Since this is the only written piece of work with multiple chapters that I actually managed to finish, there was a lot of anxiety that came along with it and making sure that it's the best thing that I can produce. So, I did what I thought was best, I gave it some time and let nature take its course. In the meantime, I wrote one-shots and of course my Mafia story…

So, about Guns and Scalpels, I'm sorry. I know I have taken a huge break from it, but I couldn't really come up with a way to proceed that I was happy with. Like I wrote a couple of drafts but it all seemed repetitive to me, so I'm not sure where to go with that story, if you all have any suggestions, feel free to hit me up.

Thank you so much for supporting this story, I really appreciate each and every single review, favorites and follows, even the occasional negative ones!

Anyway, without delaying the epilogue any further, here you are!

Enjoy!

Chapter 42: Epilogue

Present Day

It was a cold December evening in Seattle with the roads covered in snow creating an ideal situation for… you guessed it, accidents. Ideally, Arizona shouldn't have been paged to the hospital today, it was her day off and she wanted nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with a hot cup of cocoa in her hand re-watching some old Christmas movie. But there was a multi car pile up and her being a double certified fetal and pediatric surgeon the hospital had called her in and she had to suck it up and do her job.

Arizona had been meaning to take a fellow under her wing and expand the elite club which was fetal and neonatal surgery, but since she too had just a handful years of experience under her belt, the blonde thought that she could use her time and write papers and perfect her techniques before she took on teaching. No matter how much she wished that she could rely on anyone with days like these, she knew that her type A personality would just not allow it.

It wasn't that Arizona didn't want to go to the hospital, but more like the weather had flared up the pain in her leg and she was hoping that she could avoid wearing her prosthetic or standing in general. Well, look how that turned out to be.

So far, she had to operate on two moms and three babies. Yes, to make things worse, one for the moms was carrying twins. But with Karev's much needed help she managed to keep all of those babies inside of their mommies.

"You doing okay there Robbins?" Karev asked as he grabbed the sponge from the table and started scrubbing his hands.

Arizona followed his actions and plucked a kit for herself from the dispenser. "It's Dr. Robbins to you Alex. I may not be the head of Peds anymore, but I am still your mentor," Arizona smirked.

This was the dynamic the two shared. Alex knew that the blonde wasn't serious and often liked to pull his leg whenever the opportunity presented itself and honestly, if it would have been anyone else, Alex wouldn't have tolerated it. But this was Arizona, she was the reason that he was still operating, that he was in Peds and out of jail. She made him the surgeon he was today.

Alex threw the sponge away as he pressed on the foot pedal that got the water going. "Were! You were my mentor Dr. Robbins."

"You know what they say Karev. Once a mentor, always a mentor!" Arizona started as she peeled the OR gown from her body and discarded it in the nearby bin. "Besides I'm scared that if I don't mess with you every once in a while your inner frat boy will start resurfacing," she replied.

Alex pushed open the door as he and Arizona exited the scrub room. The evening was still young and Alex was hoping to go to the bar before he headed home.

"You got any plans for tonight?" He asked.

"Yeah, I have Sofia and-" but before she could complete her sentence Alex interrupted her.

"Callie not-"

"Nope."

"You know you can always come over for a drink," Alex offered but Arizona continued giving her a look that meant 'really Alex?' but he couldn't help himself. He saw how rough the years had been on the blonde and wanted to do anything to make Arizona's life a bit more easier. "What? Mer and I drink all the time with the kids around."

Arizona was shocked to hear this. Mer was a good mother, hence she found it hard to believe that the general surgeon had still managed to keep up with her beloved tequila. More than that, she slightly envied Meredith that despite having three kids she still enjoyed the occasional drink.

"I find that hard to believe Alex."

"Well, we do wait till the kids are asleep, but you know what I mean."

Arizona smiled. Her mentee truly had a heart of gold. "That sounds really nice, but right now, I want nothing more than to strip out of these scrubs, get some nice warm pajamas and remove and put my leg away for good," a couple of nurses who totally didn't mean to eavesdrop on their conversation had an odd look on their face. They probably thought what could this doctor mean by 'remove and put my leg away from good'? She loved that some of the new nurses didn't know about her leg and the ones who did, often looked at her skeptically when she walked around the hospital as if to say 'Hey! How can you keep up with such a pace? You only have one leg!' but Arizona had continued her physical therapy when she had decided on getting a leg she could jog in, her main argument was that she wanted to keep up with her child but actually, the real reason was that she missed running.

It seemed like such a stupid reason to her. Arizona missed running so she wanted a leg that would let her jog easily. But she was a marine's daughter. Her father, the Colonel had conditioned her head to be awake at the crack of dawn and go for a ten-mile run around the neighborhood. Although, Arizona was far from running ten miles in one go but she had strengthened herself to run a little over three miles in a go and was slowly upping her distance.

Going for a run was another form of therapy for Arizona, the fresh morning air, the burning in her lungs and the showtunes she heard on her run was the best way to kick start her day, but since Seattle had witnessed a relatively harsher winter this year, Arizona preferred going to the gym than risking a fall in the winter. Besides, it was really rare that Arizona actually got time in the morning rush of packing lunches and getting everyone dressed and getting to school, that she usually went for a jog during her break, but with her leg giving her problems every winter, even those had significantly reduced. Right now, Arizona considered herself lucky if she could get through her routine stretches without facing any temper tantrums.

"Alright, I'm going to go see Jo before I head out? You sure about not wanting to come over?" Alex asked as they stepped into the elevator.

"Be a third wheel between you and Jo? I'm good thanks!" Arizona commented. As the elevator doors closed.

Alex leaned over and pressed the buttons as the elevator came alive. The blonde almost considered changing her clothes before she went home, but she was just so tired that she wanted to go home as soon as possible and just eat junk on the couch. There was a maple bacon donut that she had hidden in the fridge with her name written all over it.

Back at home, Sofia fetched her iPad from the drawer as she video called her mother. It had been a long time since she had seen Callie and she really missed her.

The little Latina had had a rough day at school and it didn't help that she didn't have both of her mothers with her to help her through it. Sofia was getting impatient by the second. It was only New York! Her mom should be awake right now and probably not at the hospital, but she wasn't completely sure about it. There were times when Callie had promised her that she'd call but an emergency always seemed to pull her away from making that call.

Sofia concentrated on the iPad hoping that the universe was nice to her today and with some magic she could telepathically tell her mother to pick up her call. Just as she was about to give up and cut the call, the screen flashed 'connecting' and soon after that, her mother's face took up the whole screen.

"Hey mija, how was-" Callie saw the red little nose and puffy eyes as her heart melted. Clearly her daughter clearly had a rough day "What's wrong bubba, what happened?" she asked.

Sofia stammered as she tried to get a few words out "Mom-mommy, I got Whis-Whiskers home, but Momma refus-refused to look at him," Sofia said as she sniffled.

Callie had no idea who Whiskers was but, she had an idea that it was probably a class pet. However, what bothered Callie more was that Sofia seemed to be alone at home. It looked like Arizona wasn't around so she was more worried about having her daughter sitting all by herself and crying. Besides, Callie failed to recognize where exactly her daughter was since the little brunette had wrapped herself up in a big thick blanket which covered up most of the screen.

"Sof, where are you sitting right now?" Callie enquired.

"I'm-I'm sitting on the couch."

Callie stained her ears hoping to hear a baby-sitter or Arizona in the background. They couldn't just leave her alone all by herself right? Usually Arizona had dedicated babysitters for whenever she had to rush to the hospital, so Sofia was never left alone at home.

Arizona was probably in the bathroom soaking her leg. She knew the weather would have been rough for the blonde.

"Honey, where's Momma?" Callie asked.

As if right on cue, the brunette heard the door opening before Sofia looked up and quickly tucked the iPad in between the couch cushions.

That was strange.

"Here you go Rebecca, thanks for looking after Sofia on such a short notice," Callie heard Arizona's voice over the cushions. Maybe her daughter had forgotten to cut the call or maybe she didn't press the button well. But Callie couldn't help but stay on the line.

"Sofia, did you finish your homework?" Arizona asked as she removed her coat and hung it up. "Sofia? You can stay mad at me, but when I ask you something, I expect an answer."

That peaked Callie's interest. Exactly what was going on between Arizona and their daughter?

"Sof, why aren't you speaking to your mother?" Callie spoke up.

Sofia shifted from the couch and sat on the cushion that she had hid her iPad in. She knew that her Momma had already heard the sound but she still couldn't help but hope that she didn't.

"What was that?" Arizona asked "That sounded a lot like your mother."

"No, it doesn't!" Sofia answered quickly.

"Sofia Robbins Sloan Torres! Did you get your iPad out of my drawer?" Arizona asked as she walked towards the couch.

The little Latina was avoiding eye contact with her mother. She knew she was in trouble.

"I… Maybe."

"Sofia?"

Arizona tapped her foot as she waited for her daughter to fish out her iPad. Which took roughly three seconds before Sofia bolted to her room and slammed the door shut.

"Arizona? What happened?" Callie asked as Arizona took a seat on the couch before she placed the iPad on a stand.

"You mind if I place you on the table for a minute? I need to take my leg off."

"Yeah yeah take your time," Callie replied as she watched the blonde removing her scrub pants before she removed her prosthetic and placed it beside the couch. "Feel better?" Callie asked when the pediatric surgeon picked up the iPad from the table.

"You have no idea," but Callie did understand the relief the blonde felt, in fact the smile clearly gave away how Arizona felt as she quickly massaged her leg.

The brunette saw her contemplating pulling her pants back up but instead, she just pulled the blanket that Sofia had left behind and draped it over herself.

"So, where were we?"

"Sofia giving you a lot of trouble?" Callie asked. Their daughter had just turned ten and was constantly testing how much of her parents' boundaries she could push.

"Yup, I grounded her."

"What did she do this time?" Callie asked as she leaned over and grabbed a bottle of water off the nightstand.

Callie knew that it had to be something big for the blonde to actually ground her daughter. From day one, it was evidently clear that Arizona was the nice mom, the kind mom who rarely scolded, whereas Callie was the stricter mom, the mom who loved saying no to everything. They knew that their daughter liked to take advantage of Arizona's heart and would often ask the blonde for the new kitchen set she had her heart set on or the new doll even though she had a million of them.

"She told me that the class pet was sick and asked if I could make him feel better," Callie couldn't help but smile at that "I told her very nicely that I work with children and I can't treat Whiskers. You know what she did the next day?"

Callie shook her head as she tried to keep her smile in check. Arizona was clearly pissed and she did not want to add fuel to the fire.

"She brought Whiskers home and I found her in one of my coats with a couple of bandages and my stethoscope hanging around her neck, treating him," Arizona had a look of disbelief on her face "Why aren't you mad about this?"

"It's just a class pet Arizona," Callie tried to justify, but Arizona was not gonna have it.

"No no, it was a freaking hamster pooping and peeing all around the house."

That got Callie's attention "What do you mean by 'all around the house'? Tell me the hamster was in the cage at all times!"

That was the reaction Arizona wanted "Nope, Dr. Sofia Torres MD took the hamster out and was treating it when I entered. When I saw it, I screamed so loudly. Calliope, it was a brown rat like thing, it was super gross. It probably got scared when it heard me."

"You're telling me there's a hamster roaming around freely in the house," Callie asked, equally horrified by the situation.

"Yeah until I got Karev to find him and put it back in it's cage. I cleaned the entire house thrice. Thrice! Just to be paged for a surgery in the middle of the snowiest day I have seen all winter!" Arizona complained.

Callie was about to console the blonde when she saw a pair of tiny hands forming devil horns behind Arizona's head. The brunette smiled at her phone knowing fully well who was behind Arizona, even though she hadn't noticed it yet. It was just so funny with the rant that Arizona had going on, the horns made sense.

"And that's when I grounded her and took away her screen time and of course her iPad. I can't believe she went through my drawer and took it out."

Callie watched as the devil horns behind Arizona's head turned into bunny ears. "She probably just missed me or wanted me to take her side through all of this," Callie suggested.

"And would you have sided with her?"

"Of course not! Besides, I love my bunny too much! Isn't that right Finn?" Callie smiled as she watched Arizona turning around and finding Finn standing right behind the couch.

The blonde leaned over the couch and grabbed him as she placed him on her lap. Finn squealed throughout the process, trying to free himself from Arizona's hold. "Were you making me look like bunny Phoenix?" Arizona asked as she tickled the boy's belly.

"Stop Momma, I can't take it anymore," he smiled as that just urged Arizona to tick him harder.

"Is that so?"

Phoenix nodded but snuggled in closer towards Arizona as he sat on her lap as the tickling died down.

"I miss you so much Finny. What did you do today?" Callie asked as she gushed at the boy who took over her screen.

"I played some and then I helped Uncle Alex find Whiskers and then Momma and I made lunch and then she went to the hospital so I played with Becca and then now I'm talking to you!" Finn finished as he couldn't help but feel proud of himself as he told his mother about everything he did today.

Callie nodded along to all of Finn's words as Arizona gently smoothen down his hair that was standing up in all different directions "Seems like you had quite the busy day."

"We were supposed to go to the park, but Momma said she was too tired, but she promised we'll go when you come back Mommy."

"Yeah, I promise we'll go as soon as I get back okay bubba?" Finn nodded as he got off of Arizona's lap and ran towards… that kid loved running around the house and the blonde was too drained to do anything about it. Besides he was promised an outing to work off his extra energy. If he gets tired by simply running around the house, it would be easy for Arizona to put him to bed.

Callie was supposed to be in New York for three days for her conference but because of the snowstorm that hit New York, her flight got delayed and was now stuck in New York for three extra days. Actually, if the weather would have been fine Callie would have been back for about three hours now and they'd probably be snuggling in bed right now, but Arizona settled for a video call. At least this was better than nothing.

"How are you feeling? Your leg okay babe?"

"It's still a little stiff but it should be fine. I'll stretch it out before I go to bed," Arizona said as she yawned. Three hours of standing in an OR shouldn't have drained her as much as it did, but Arizona was ready to feed the kids and go to bed.

"And how's Peanut doing?" Callie asked. The brunette was intimately familiar with morning sickness and the toll that it had taken on her body, but that didn't mean that she wanted her wife to go through the same pain.

This is what sucked about the conference. If Callie wasn't the chief person of the event, she would have cancelled it. In fact, she was about to cancel when Arizona convinced her to go, when all Callie wanted to do was to hold her wife's hair back when she hurled, prepare her breakfast in bed and massage her leg when she came home. She didn't want to miss a single moment of it. The brunette wanted to be in Seattle right beside Arizona and just hold her, but instead she was in a sad lonely hotel room all by herself. It was a decent hotel though, but the high-rise room in the heart of New York felt like crap when her pregnant wife wasn't there to share it with her.

"Meh, I just puked only once this morning so I'm calling it a freaking victory!" Callie was about to comment on how absurd it all sounded but her eyes were drawn behind Arizona as she found their son climbing on one of the countertops as he made his way to the cookie jar. The secret cookie jar. It was Arizona's stash and apparently the blonde liked to hide her favorite treats in that cabinet. She thought that no one in the family knew that hiding spot, but clearly she was wrong.

They were raising a bunch of hooligans weren't they? One brought a hamster home and let it run freely in their home, while the other climbed cabinets in the name of cookies.

This is what home feels like isn't it? Callie couldn't help but wonder.

"Calliope?"

"Huh?" the brunette snapped out of her reverie.

"I kind of lost you there."

"No… um, I was thinking about the baby. So, Agamemnon is a total no?" Callie teased.

Arizona pretended to think for a while "Actually…"

"Nope! Please don't do that to our child!"

The blonde laughed "Besides, I'm pretty sure that we are going to have a girl!"

Suddenly, Finn realized that his mother could probably see him retrieving the secret cookies. So, he silently pleaded to let the blonde know about it. He thought that he had gotten away with it, but his mother's expression soon changed. Finn could clearly make out what his mother was trying to say and with the iPad's big screen, her frown was way too prominent. She was not happy that he had not one but two cookies in his hand.

Callie narrowed her eyes at him, to which Finn mouthed Sofia before he carefully got down from the counter trying to make as little noise as he could before he made his way up the stairs.

It was a relief that Sofia and Finn had started to get along quite well these days. Sure, they had their moments where they were at each other's throats, but mostly things were good. With baby number three on the way, she wanted the drama to be at a minimum, which she knew was wishful thinking because there was always something going on at the Robbins-Torres household.

"You know Alex insisted on having drinks today."

"Yeah?"

Arizona nodded "I kept on telling him that I had to get back to the kids and he said that he could just come over with the beer."

"You haven't told him yet?" Callie asked.

Yes, they had just hopped into their second trimester of the blonde's pregnancy but with her scrubs, her coat, the NICU and OR gowns and well winter clothing in general, no one could really see the bump. Well, no one apart from Callie, but she had unrestricted access to her wife's body.

Arizona was over the whole cliché talking to the baby in the mommy's belly, but when Callie did it, it just melted her heart into a puddle of goo. The blonde had noticed that Callie had gotten very protective of their little peanut. She often found the brunette caressing her belly in her sleep when she woke up in the middle of the night to pee or rubbing circles on her back when she felt a bit uncomfortable. What she loved more was that Callie did all of this without being told to do so. In fact, the way Arizona groaned told Callie exactly what and where it was hurting. It was almost like she knew the blonde's body better than she knew it herself.

She loved Callie, but being pregnant and having her baby just made her fall in deeper and harder.

"Nope, I just… I like that Peanut is our little secret and I'm not ready to share her with the world, not yet."

Callie smiled at Arizona calling their baby 'Peanut'. They didn't know if it was a boy or a girl yet, but Arizona was sure it was a girl. Initially, the brunette was the one who had started calling their baby that after their first sonogram when the OB had compared their baby to the size of a peanut and ever since then, the nickname kind of stuck. Even though the peanut had grown up to become the size of a peach, they still called the baby Peanut.

"I thought Karev would have figured out by now, he's the freaking head of Peds! Aren't you guys taught how to fish out pregnant women?"

Arizona smiled as Callie recalled one of the jokes she had told the brunette "Yeah, he's the head of Peds who's wife just became an attending, he's focused on sex or well lack there off."

Callie laughed, even though her wife had made him a somewhat decent human being, there was only so much he could do. Besides, if Karev focusing on Jo, that only meant that their Peanut was safe and sound and just something that only the two of them knew about. It all worked out for the better than didn't it?

Callie was about to ask Arizona to lift up her shirt in case somehow her bump magically grew over the past couple of days, when Finn came running down the stairs.

"Momma? What's for dinner?" Finn asked as he crawled up and sat on Arizona's good leg.

Callie knew that Arizona was in no condition to make dinner but also at the same time had warned her not to eat too much junk "Yes Momma, what is for dinner," Callie said letting Arizona know that she was a part of this conversation and was listening to what unhealthy meal Arizona was going to suggest.

Arizona rolled her eyes. "Well, there's some of that grilled chicken we had for dinner yesterday, I can put maybe some barbecue sauce on it with some salad on the side, how does that sound?"

"Can I have some juice with it?" Finn asked.

"Of course honey."

Finn was about to get up from her la when Arizona noticed something on his shirt. "Phoenix, what is this?" She asked.

Finn looked down. Sure enough there was a little chocolate stain on his shirt with a little bit of crumble on it. "When did you eat a cookie?"

"I don't know what you are talking about," Finn replied, but Arizona saw right through him.

"Then how come your shirt wasn't dirty a minute ago and now it suddenly is?"

Finn shrugged his shoulders before squirming away from his mother's hold "Phoenix Mark Robbins-Torres!" she yelled but Finn had already made his way up the stairs.

"Did you know about this?" She asked Callie.

"What? No!"

"Calliope Iphigenia Robbins-Torres! Don't you dare lie to me!"

Callie smiled "You sure are full naming the entire family today aren't you! Besides, I'm all the over here in New York, how would I know if he ate the cookies from your secret stash!" the brunette exclaimed.

To Arizona, the reason sounds about right, but she knew her wife too well. She could easily tell when she was trying to hide something. But she decided to let it go.

"Can't you come back sooner? The bed feels too big without you."

"I know babe, but the weather is being a real bitch, I have my dad's plane on stand by, the minute they say yes, I'm taking off."

Arizona nodded as she grabbed her prosthetic and put it on. It was still a bit painful, but she had to make dinner and she couldn't imagine doing that while balancing herself on crutches.

"This is all your fault by putting your foot down on takeaways and deliveries. All I would have to do it call the Pizza place on 42nd street and have them deliver the pizza in no time. But instead, you are making me wear my prosthetic and slave over the stove."

"I told you Arizona, junk meals only once a week. I'm sorry if I want Peanut to get some good folic acid from an extra helping of spinach," Callie said as she smiled. She did have a feeling that Arizona would get tired of having to cook all of her meals "Besides, if you are nice to me for the next five minutes, I might have a little surprise for you."

"Does this surprise involve me not standing stirring a pot?" Arizona asked as she put on her pants and made her way to the kitchen.

"It might, but you still have to eat the salad but with extra spinach and kale." Callie argued.

"Can I add a bit of mayo to it?" Arizona asked as she made her puppy dog eyes at Callie as she started gathering her ingredients for the salad.

Her maple bacon donut that she was saving after dinner was a strong enough reason to load up on leafy greens, but Callie didn't need to know about her donut plans.

"Just a little bit, okay?"

Arizona nodded and she propped up the iPad by the sink and went to rinse the veggies.

"Okay, go check the freezer."

Arizona switched off the tap and did as she was told.

"This wasn't in the freezer last time I checked. What is it?"

"Open it!"

Arizona carefully opened the container before she leaned down to smell the food. "Lasagna?"

Callie nodded.

The blonde's face broke out into a huge smile "But you were so busy with your presentation. When did you get time to cook?" Arizona was overjoyed. Callie had not only cooked for her but anticipated that she would need a little pick me up when she wasn't in the mood to cook and would give in and have food delivered. The brunette had even left a little note on the cover.

'Dinner is up babe, stick it in the oven for 10 minutes on 325 and it should be enough to give you and all of the rugrats a belly full of lasagna to keep you all satisfied for the night. Love Callie.'

Arizona followed the instructions and closed the oven door as she picked up a timer from the window sill and set it for ten minutes.

"You are a life save Calliope!" the blonde said as she took a seat on the dining table.

"Well, I know how to keep my baby mama happy."

Arizona smiled. "It's pretty late there isn't it?"

"Yeah but I'd much rather be talking to you," Callie replied but she couldn't help it when she yawned. "Besides, I'm pretty sure you're going to call me on your phone in about… an hour and a half?"

Since the last two weeks or so, Arizona's sex drive has been through the roof. The blonde had always been someone who loved sex, the act of physical intimacy thrilled her, but because of the morning sickness, sex was the last thing on her mind, but when the kids went to bed and with Callie snuggled up close to her. She couldn't help but let her hands roam on her wife's body. She was married to a gorgeous Latina, she couldn't help it. There were so many instances that she had to wake Callie in the middle of the night wanting to be touched and the brunette was more than happy to pacify her every need.

There were times when they fell into each other's arms, exhausted after an intense session of love making, but Arizona's hormones just woke her up three hours later, wanting to go at it again. The blonde didn't remember Callie being his way when she was pregnant, in fact it was the opposite. Callie didn't want to be touched and she had to go out of her way to make sure Callie was comfortable.

But Arizona on the other hand, she wanted it and she wanted it to be down right dirty.

"I'm not going to call you," Arizona said, but she was more than sure that she was going to give in. "In fact I have been going cold turkey ever since you have been away."

Callie laughed "There is no way you haven't masterbaited for three days, with your hormones out of control, I find that very hard to believe Dr. Robbins."

"It is!" It wasn't, but Arizona didn't want Callie to know that.

"So you are saying that if I check the bottle of lube in your bedside table, it won't be half empty? Before you even try to deny it, I bought you a new one before I left, so think wisely"

"Did you actually?" Arizona asked, she could feel her whole face heating up.

"No, but that told me enough, the extra one is in my underwear drawer, bundled up in my purple lacy underwear."

Arizona imagined her wife standing in front of her with nothing but those purple lacy underwear gracing her curvy hips with her breasts bare and on display as she hooked her thumbs in it and tried to tease her.

"You are imagining me naked aren't you?" Callie asked.

"Nope." It was technically the truth, she was imagining the brunette in her purple panties and not totally nude.

Before Callie could call her out for it, the timer went off. Arizona grabbed oven mitts as she carefully pulled out the container and placed it on the coaster.

"Sofia, Phoenix! Dinner's ready!" Arizona called out. Before she grabbed a couple of plates from the overhead cabinets. "God Calliope, that smells amazing!

"Remember extra spinach and kale!"

"Yeah, yeah!" Arizona replied as she started filling the kids plates with lasagna and salad. She made it a point to show Callie that she was listening to her as she added extra veggies to her own plate before she carried the kids plate and placed it on the table.

"Sofia, do you want juice as well?" She asked as she saw the kids coming down the stairs. Sofia was still pouting whereas Phoenix had changed his shirt. She was right, he had fished out cookies from her secret stash, they were the good kind of chocolate chip cookies.

Arizona waited for Sofia to reply, but the younger Latina simply took a seat as she folded her arms "I know you are still mad at me, but I taught you better than that."

"Yes, please."

"Great! Can you pour a glass for you and your brother? Thanks sweetie!"

Sofia rolled her eyes, "Yeah whatever," she said as she took a couple of glasses and headed for the fridge.

"God, I love preteens as much as I love teens"

"Tell me about it. Can't wait when Finn starts giving us the stink eye as well" Callie replied. "Alright, I'll let you guys have dinner"

Arizona turned the iPad towards Finn and Sofia as they waved bye to their mother. "Goodnight Mommy" both of them said as Callie blew kisses at them through her screen.

"Good night you guys! Sweet dreams, I love you so so much" the brunette said before Arizona turned the screen towards herself.

"Are you tired?" the blonde asked.

"A little bit, but when am I not, why what happened?"

"Ummm… Can you stay awake for like maybe half an hour?"

Callie smirked. She was right, she knew her wife too well. "Sure, just call me on your phone when the munchkins are asleep"

Arizona smiled "Bye Calliope, I love you"

"Love you too babe" the brunette replied before she cut the call. Arizona placed the iPad on the kitchen counter before she grabbed her plate and made her way to the dining table.

Suddenly a thought crossed Arizona's mind. Wait a minute, how did Callie know that Finn had grabbed the cookies from her secret stash and not from anywhere else?

The end.

A/N: How was that! Initially, when I had an idea about the epilogue it was going to be centered around Mark and how he had told Arizona to take care of his girls, but that was just too sad and depressing and I thought that my one shot series already deals with enough moments like those.

So instead, I decided to write this nice sweet little piece of the happy family enjoying their time with each other. This is also the biggest chapter I have ever posted.

Please feel free to review this chapter or the series as a whole, I love reading them! And once again thank you for all you love!
