Chapter 42: Running In Circles

Jordin then looks around after what has happened.

"What the hell is this?" Jordin wandered as he tried to walk towards Susumu, but was stunned by electricity flowing from the grass. "Gaaah!"

"Hmm… Looks like the trap has worked." Susumu said as his Stand slowly orbited around him. "Proclaimer is the name of my Stand. And I'm glad that you two as volunteers can help me out for this moment…"

"What are you talking about?!" Jocelyn shouted.

"Hush! Don't talk to a college student at Josho Sun University!" Susumu said. "And don't even think about approaching me, or else my Proclaimer will make you regret walking towards me!"

Jocelyn sighed.

"I gotta get him while he's distracted…" She said to herself. "But it's gonna take a while, huh?"

Jordin then escaped from the electrical trap set up by Proclaimer.

"Urgh… Hurts…" Jordin said as he got up. "I don't know what's going on, but I'm not gonna give up here!"

Jordin then rushed over to Susumu around the area they were in, escaping any possible electrical traps.

"Smart move, but that's not gonna give you an advantage." Susumu said.

Proclaimer then made Jordin fall and moved him to one side of the circle in a 180 degree direction, while Susumu walked to one side in a 90 degree direction.

"I don't know what the hell am I gonna do!" Jordin shouted. "You really want to take down this Milo guy?!"

"Correct! I'll make sure that everything goes well!" Susumu replied. "And I'll also make sure that I take revenge for what I have done!"

"But what if his Stand is tough?"

Susumu was silent.

"I don't need help." Susumu said. "I can do this on my own."

Jocelyn was then hiding behind a tree to try and get to Susumu.

"Ok… Hoping this will work." Jocelyn said. "I'm gonna pop out and give him a surprise attack that will be quite a shock…"

Jocelyn then saw Susumu being distracted from paying attention to Jordin.

"Alright!" Jocelyn said as her Stand, Thunder appeared. "Let's do this!"

Jocelyn then appeared behind Susumu and have Thunder attempt to attack.

"I got you!" Jocelyn shouted.

Proclaimer then appeared to twist one of Jocelyn's legs. Jocelyn then falls to the ground.

"Argh! What the hell?! He twisted my leg!" Jocelyn shouted..

"I can tell that your Stand is faster than my Proclaimer, but I can time what you folks can do when it comes to speed." Susumu said.

"Huh? I can't move my other leg…"

"That's because Proclaimer paralyzed the other leg as well, so you won't be able to move…"

Jordin then runs through the circle while Susumu is distracted, and gets stunned from 2 traps, but is still able to pass through and survive.

"Leave her alone!" Jordin shouted as Hybrid Theory appeared.

"ORIYAH!" Hybrid Theory shouted as it punched Susumu in the face and sent him flying near a tree.

"You got him!" Jocelyn said.

Susumu then slowly got up.

"Looks like being distracted by another person is my weakness…" Susumu said. "I guess I'm not ready for Milo…"

Proclaimer then appeared again.

"Make her back to normal, Proclaimer." Susumu said.

Jocelyn then felt her legs functioning again. She got up and was with Jordin as they approached Susumu.

"Looks like you've lost…" Jocelyn said.

"I did…" Susumu said. "And you're gonna finish me off, huh JoJo?"

Jordin looks down.

"I'm not gonna do that to you, Susumu…" Jordin said. "Even if we did become brothers in the first place…"

"I see…" Susumu said as he got up. "I guess I'm getting what I deserved…"

Jordin and Jocelyn were confused with what he have said.

"What?" Jocelyn asked.

"I said I am about to get what I deserved." Susumu replied. "The hawk is about to take my heart… Trust me, it hears and knows everything we experienced…"

A hawk was then flying above Midori Park and saw Susumu and smiled.

"Tamago!" Susumu shouted.

Tamago, the hawk that was flying above, then swooped down and attacked. Thunder then appeared to punch away the hawk. The hawk then flew away.

"Huh?" It fled from your Stand's attack…" Susumu said.

"I had to use Thunder." Jocelyn said. "I didn't want it to hurt you two…"

"I guess I'm gonna live, for now, that Tamago fled…"

"Tamago? What kind of name is that?"

"He's a bad egg."

"Heh heh… Makes sense to me." Jordin said.

"Now then, I suppose we'll be able to roll back and see what's next for our plan to take down Milo and avenge our parents…"

"That could work, I guess…"
