The group met up at the Slytherin common room that day. They lounged in the common room with small glasses of butterbeer and their books to do their homework.

Draco's arm was wrapped around Adeleine's shoulders as she wrote some bullshit story for her dream diary.

His butterbeer had already been swapped out for a glass of fire whiskey even though Adeleine protested the drinking on a school night. Draco had sobriety potions in his room so there was no need to be worried at all.

"Are you done yet?" Draco asked impatiently as Adeleine finished her last sentence.

"One second... and done!" she chirped. Adeleine closed her dream diary and quill as she leaned back into Draco's embrace.

"So Theo," Ginny started, "Athena and I have formulated a good plan for you and Hannah."

"Pft, who said anything about Hannah" Theo brushed off the blush that was arising to his cheeks.

"Even if you didn't tell us, it is quite obvious that you're in love with her" Luna spoke up.

"No it's not" Theo said and all of them gave him looks, "Is it really that obvious? How come you guys didn't say anything? Oh my god, what if she knows?"

"Is that really a bad thing Theo?" Blaise asked, "I mean it's obvious that you like each other."

"Yes, it's a terrible thing!" Theo whisper-shouted.

"Why is it a terrible thing?" Adeleine asked with an eyebrow quirked as she snuggled closer to Draco's body.

"Because, she's like the sun. She's perfect and brightens everyone's day. I'm me, Theo, and I have a load of shit and baggage that no one wants to deal with" Theo explained and everyone rolled their eyes.

"Oh come on, Hannah is the nicest person I know" Athena deadpanned to Theo. "She doesn't give two shits about your horrible past decisions."

Theo grumbled in annoyance. Why couldn't his friends just drop it? It's not like anything was going to happen between him and Hannah anyways. She was perfection personified and he was just Theo. Plain old Theo who was climbing up from his addiction.

Adeleine rolled her eyes at Theo. Why couldn't he see that they were made for each other? There was a reason the two had been fated to help each other through Theo's hard times and it seemed that Hannah really enjoyed Theo's company.

"Don't worry, they still have time. Lets just hope it doesn't take as long as Draco and Addy did" Blaise said with a joking tone and Draco scoffed.

"It didn't take that long" Draco countered and Addy giggled.

"It kind of did" she whispered to him and Draco let out a breathless laugh.

The portrait door swung open of the Slytherin common room. The Beauxbatons students that had been sorted into Slytherin were moving into their dormitories. Only about three girls were walking together, all of them blond and pale with blue eyes.

The group looked up from their conversation as the three blond girls walked towards them. It reminded Adeleine of the muggle movie 'Mean Girls' that Hermione had shown her. The girls resembled 'the Plastics' who were the so called popular girls.

"Oh hello Draco" said the blond in the front with a flirty smile and wink.

Draco blinked repeatedly before nodding slowly, "Hello, Marion."

Adeleine remembered the girl from the Slytherin table who was shamelessly flirting with Draco in front of everyone. Maybe the girl didn't know that her and Draco were dating which was understandable since she was new. Adeleine didn't blame the girl as Marion probably just had no idea.

The girl let out a giggle and Athena furrowed her brows, "He didn't say anything funny." Marion shot Athena a glare who narrowed her eyes at the blond home wrecker girl.

"Hi, I'm Adeleine" Addy introduced herself with a smile and her hand out.

"I know, my brother talks a lot about you" Marion immediately answered, swatting Addy's hand away, "Germaphobe."

"Oh alright" Addy said and apologized as she retracted her offer for a handshake. "Who's your brother?"

"Jackson" Marion answered and Addy huffed out some air.

"Why would he be talking about her?" Draco's head shot up and he looked at Addy who gulped.

"Oh didn't she tell you" Marion asked innocently with a high pitched giggle.

"Tell me what?" Draco asked in a growl, turning his head to Adeleine.

Addy sighed, closing her eyes and rubbing her forehead. "He's my ex" she answered before Marion could because she didn't want Marion to twist any words or provide false information.

"What?!" Draco asked in a yell while Marion put on a large fake smile.

"He's my ex" Addy repeated more clearly and confidently.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Draco asked, she noted that his tone was softening.

"Yes, he's my ex" she started, "but from the third year. I was 13 for gods sakes and it was a long time ago. There's no need to bring back any unnecessary drama that happened in the past for a relationship that started when I was very young. There's no need to throw unneeded fuel to the fire."

Draco nodded, trusting Adeleine while Marion huffed in disappointment and pouted. The two girls behind her didn't say anything, slightly terrified of Marion. The two knew the things that Marion could do to ruin Adeleine's life like she had done to many girls in Beauxbatons.

Being a full Veela, Marion had all the power in the world. She could manipulate boys into doing whatever she's wanted. It was a sick twisted form of mind control and even boys who were gay or asexual could not fight it. Although, through their family tree there must have been a lot of inbreeding in order to preserve the Veela line.

"Wait, is he the guy you told me about in third year. The one that you made the bracelets for" asked Ginny and Addy smacked her inside her mind.

"Yeah that's him" Addy answered and Draco proceeded to pout.

"I want a bracelet" he whined to Addy and she rolled her eyes.

"Why do you want one?" she asked.

"To tie you up with while I fuck on in my bed" he smirked and Adeleine's cheeks began to heat up immediately.

Marion sneered at Adeleine and crossed her arms. "Hey Draco" she cooed and Draco looked up at the girl, "Do you think you could show me around the school?"

Draco cleared his throat, "Erm just ask Granger. I'm sure she would be happy to do it."

Marion was growing more visibly annoyed at Draco's resistance to her charms. It seemed that his love towards Adeleine was strong, but not strong enough.

"But I don't want her" Marion stepped closer to Draco, putting a hand on his bicep, "I want you."

Adeleine watched as Draco's eyes swirled from grey to a blue color. The light blue was faint, but still could be seen in his eyes.

"Alright" Draco nodded in agreement, "Tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow" Marion confirmed as she saunter away with her two minions, a little sway to her hips which Adeleine caught Draco staring at.

"Not again" murmured Blaise as he took the book he was reading and smacked Draco in the head.

"What was that for?!" Draco yelled, groaning as he clutched his head.

"You've just been having a lot of nightmares lately" Blaise answered with a shrug as Adeline pulled herself away from Draco's touch as if it were tainted.

'What just happened?' Ginny mouthed to Adeleine and she shrugged in response.

Adeleine got up from her seat on the sofa, dusting her skirt off and grabbing her books. Ginny and Athena followed, doing the same.

"Where are you going?" Draco asked and Adeleine noticed that his eyes were back to its normal grey.

"I'm a bit tired. I'm just gonna go to sleep now" Adeleine faked a yawn and Draco nodded warily. "Goodnight."

"Wait" Draco stopped her, "Kiss first?"

Adeleine looked at him guiltily, feeling the need to cry as she pecked him on the cheek softly and walked out of the Slytherin common room. Ginny, Athena, and Luna followed as Neville began to clear his things to follow them.

"Goodnight my love" Blaise said to Neville, giving him a parting kiss.

"Night" Neville waved to the Slytherin trio as he walked out of the common room.

"Okay, what the fuck?" Theo demanded as he noticed everyone was gone. "What in the world was that mate? It was like you were hypnotized and Addy looked like she was going to burst into tears."

Draco groaned softly, rubbing his head, "I'm not sure. I can't really remember. It's like my minds blank."

"This happened in the Great Hall too. During dinner the bitch did the same thing to Draco" Blaise explained as Theo drank the information.

"She's got to be Veela" Theo said and Blaise agreed.

"One hundred percent guaranteed."

"But why is she targeting him?" Theo asked to Blaise, seeing as Draco was confused.

"I dunno mate. Maybe cause he's famous and she wants status?"

"But then she could go for anyone. She would have better luck with Weasley or Potter" Blaise shrugged and Theo gave him a confused look, "Boy Weasley."

"Nah, cause Ginny would definitely murder the girl if she came between her and Potter" Blaise chuckled at the image in his head.

"I want to die" Adeleine groaned as she hit her bed.

"I'll kill the girl if you want me to. I will beat her perfect little Veela ass" Athena threatened and Addy knew that she would keep that promise.

"It's alright" Adeleine answered with a humorless chuckle. "I think I just have to go to sleep and hope it was all a dream."

"You know that he loves you, right?" Athena asked seriously with a soft tone.

"I do and I trust him with my life, but I can't help but question it now. I hate it because he trusts me and was mature about the whole Jackson thing, but I can't trust him with Marion. I feel like an absolute hypocrite" Adeleine groaned into her pillow as she watched her owl fly into the room.

"Hey Polaris" Adeleine greeted her owl and handed her a treat which Polaris nipped her finger appreciatively.

Polaris hooted and Adeleine noticed the letter attached to her leg. Adeleine untied the letter on her leg and unrolled the parchment.

Dear Addy,

If it's possible, could we meet up for tea in Hogsmeade on Sunday? I have someone that I want to introduce you to. I'll be at Madam Puddifoot's tea shop waiting for you and 1:00 pm.

Oh and Oliver will be coming to your school with his team to scout for a new chaser. His has gotten seriously injured so they are patrolling the different schools to find the newest sensation before the other teams get to him (or her).
