College applications are hard.

I've been working on my essay to get into Leopold University for two weeks now, and I still haven't gotten it to where I want it. I want it to be perfect, but given the question is "Why would you make a great addition to Leopold?"...I really don't know a good answer. College is about pursuing what you want to do for the rest of your life, but I don't know what I want to do. How can I fit in at Leopold if I don't even know what I want to do? How can I write a college essay when I can't even fully answer the prompt?

Sybella had been beating herself up over not knowing what she wanted to do for several weeks now. All of her friends knew what they wanted to do after high school: Elsa wanted to be a scientist, Winnie wanted to teach Gym, Tanis wanted to do something history-related, and Phantasma wanted to start a music career. Sybella? She had no idea what she was going to do.

The vampire princess had already spent countless hours and days obsessing over the fact that she had not made any sort of decision as to what she wanted to do with her life, so she knew she couldn't waste any more time on that this morning. Both for her sanity and because she had to get to class!

The vampiress put on a purple dress with bat prints on it along with some matching purple-and-black bat socks, before heading downstairs to her first class of the day.

"Government!" Coach Micucci announced. "That's what class you're in right now!"

"We already know that. We've been in this class for a month." Sidney rolled her eyes.

"Well sorry!" Coach Micucci snapped. "I thought it would make a transition...for some reason. Anyway, today we're gonna talk about the executive branch of the government, which is led by the president. Man, do I hate him! Today, that schnook raised taxes! Next year, I'm going to vote against President -"

Micucci was cut off by a man in a blue police uniform bursting into the classroom.

"Sir, I'm afraid I can't allow you to say that!" the uniformed man cautioned.

"Oh yeah, and why not?" Coach Micucci put his hands on his hips. "I know, probably because that stupid rule I'm not supposed to talk bad about the government, because I'm the Government teacher."

"No! I'm from the Squad of the UDT...Unnecessarily Dating Things! Sir, if you say that president's name, you'll make this outdated so that future generations can't enjoy it as much!" the man in the uniform warned.

"Jeez! Sorry." the coach half-heartedly apologized. "I won't say the person...or chimp's…name."

This comment caused Sybella and her friends to give the coach a very strange look.

"Hey, you don't believe in the possibility of a monkey president?" Coach Micucci shrugged. "Because I sure do!"

"Alright...I'm going to leave now, sir, but don't you dare try to date anything again!" the blue-uniformed man slowly backed out of the room in a cautious way.

The class continued on, with the coach making vague references to the structures of today's government.

"And that's what President Hmm-hmm's plan for this country is." Coach Micucci mumbled.

"Man, gotta love that President Hmm-hmm!" Sidney joked, followed by the sound of the bell.

"How's your college application coming?" Sybella inquired of Elsa.

"Great! It's already done! I just submitted it to MIT last week, and we'll see what I hear back." Elsa said. "I think I'll get in though! How's yours going?"

"It's going to take me until the end of the century to complete mine." Sybella sighed.

"Hey, don't worry! We've still got plenty of 19-wonderful left!" Phantasma assured.

"How's yours coming, Tanis?" Sybella asked.

"It's going great! I submitted mine yesterday!" Tanis exclaimed. "I'm sorry yours is taking so long. I wouldn't worry, though. You should be able to get it done by the time we've got our tour tomorrow afternoon!"

Despite the fact that Tanis's comment was supposed to assure Sybella that she was not an impostor, it actually made her more anxious. She'd entirely forgotten about the tour at Leopold University that she'd scheduled for tomorrow. How was she ever going to decide what she wanted to do for the rest of her life in just a day?

Sybella somberly made her way over to Mrs. Griffin's class to be a teaching assistant, which slightly cheered her up. She loved being in class (and teaching), but sadly, she couldn't just be in class for the rest of her life. She had to figure out what she wanted to do.

"Hello, Sybella!" Mrs. Griffin greeted. "Today, I'd like to try something different. As you know, many of the students didn't do great on their presentations on Tuesday. I think it might be helpful if you taught the students about what you took away from Human Studies, back when you took the class in your freshman year. It might help if they hear an actual account from someone their age about what they learned in this class."

"Really? Me?" Sybella asked in surprise. She didn't think of herself as a teacher at all.

"Of course! You were one of my best students!" Mrs. Griffin exclaimed.

"Oh...well…I guess if you say so." Sybella began to get nervous. She had no experience teaching and didn't know how she could get through to these students. At least Julia was in the class though. She was a very smart girl. Sybella decided to act like she was teaching a room full of Julias in order to calm her nerves.

"Umm, hi class." Sybella stuttered. Ugh, that was so awkward. "Mrs. Griffin asked me to help you guys out a little bit. So, your presentations on Tuesday were supposed to be about one thing you've learned about humans."

"I've never learned nothin' from nobody!" George exclaimed, as he attempted to write with the eraser side of his pencil. "Why isn't this writing?!"

He then flipped over the pencil to the lead side. "And why isn't this erasing?!"

"One thing I've learned about humans is that while they may treat monsters horribly, it often comes from a place of fear or lack of education about monsters. If many humans knew the truth about monsters, do you think they'd represent and treat us so horribly?" Sybella inquired of the class.

"That's a great point!" Tate exclaimed. "I never would have thought of that!"

Tate was generally a goof-around student, so it made Sybella feel good that she had gotten through to him.

"Now that I've shared one thing that I've learned about humans, what's one thing that you've learned?" Sybella inquired of the class.

"I've learned that we need to call out humans when they make unfair stereotypes about monsters." Julia raised her hand and replied.

"Good, Julia." Sybella smiled. Julia was the brightest student in this class, so she wasn't at all surprised to get such a good response out of her. The trick would be getting through to the others. "Tate, how about you?"

"We've gotta be patient with humans. They can take a long time to warm up to monsters, but the important thing is to be kind and not reinforce any stereotypes. Like this." Tate responded, as he made a scary face.

"Good! Samantha?" Sybella laughed, as she called the name of a freshman brunette werewolf that she had never met before this class.

"I think it's important to fight against harmful stereotypes, and also teach humans why the stereotypes they have about us are so wrong." Samantha insightfully suggested.

"That's a great strategy, Samantha!" Sybella complimented.

"I've got one!" George exclaimed, to which Sybella's heart sank a little. Surely it would be something silly or ridiculous.

"Don't let the stupid humans get you down! Just do your thang and ignore them haters, baybee!" George advised.

Perhaps a bit shallow and silly, but it was sort of good advice.

"Umm...good advice, George!" Sybella smiled, trying not to giggle.

"Awesome! I've always got the dopest advice!" George nodded.

All of a sudden, the same uniformed man as before burst in the room.

"Stop! I'm from the UDT and you are unnecessarily dating things! How do you know the word 'dopest' will still be relevant in a few years?" the man interrogated.

"Uhhh…" George stuttered.

"That's right! You don't!" the UDT guy scolded, as he cautiously backed out of the room. "Just don't let it happen again."

Sybella tried to shrug off the strange man's sudden appearance and kept teaching the class.

The vampiress was relieved to be done teaching when the bell rang. She'd enjoyed being up in front of the class somewhat, but mainly, she was nervous.

"Wonderful job, Sybella!" Mrs. Griffin complimented. "You're a natural teacher!"

Sybella certainly didn't think so. She felt like she barely passed for a tolerable teacher's assistant. She'd maybe thought about teaching as a pipe dream once or twice, but certainly never seriously.

"Thanks...but I'm not…" Sybella began, before Mrs. Griffin interrupted her.

"If you're about to play down how amazing you were, don't even think about it. You did as good as I usually do! I think the students learned a lot from you today." Mrs. Griffin informed.

"Thanks!" Sybella beamed a little.

"You're very welcome. Have a wonderful day and weekend!" Mrs. Griffin smiled.

"You too!" Sybella reciprocated, as she rushed out of the room so she wouldn't be late for Yearbook.

Sybella shuffled off to the Yearbook room, which was just a few rooms down from the Human Studies classroom.

A brunette vampire wearing a green shirt and ripped jeans, otherwise known as Savana, was the first to acknowledge her.

"Sup, fam?" Savana greeted.

"Not much. Just getting ready for my big college tour tomorrow." Sybella answered.

"Ooh! Big vamp on campus!" Sam exclaimed.

"Quiet, you!" Savana shushed.

"Yeah, we need to start working on taking pictures for the yearbook." Sami brought them back on track.

Sam took out her camera and took individual pictures of Sami, Savana and Sybella.

"There's our pictures." Sam pseudo-finished. "Now, let's get back to the gossip."

"What gossip?" Sami put her hands on her hips in disapproval. "Besides, Sybella was going to interview someone, remember? Let's allow her to get to that on time."

Oh crap. In all of the time spent worrying about the college application, Sybella had forgotten to ask one of her teachers for an interview.

"Umm...oh yeah...I'm going to interview...Mrs. Griffin!" Sybella exclaimed. She hadn't actually asked Mrs. Griffin yet, but given she was so complimentary of Sybella, surely she'd be okay if the vampiress asked her for a brief interview.

"Did you ask her yet?" Savana inquired, looking suspicious due to Sybella's stilted response.

"Uh...no." Sybella hung her head, ashamed of being caught in a lie.

"Oooh, busted!" Savana shamed.

"You're goin' to the slammer of shame, pardner." Sam teased, tipping a fake cowboy hat.

"I'm sure she'll be fine with it." Sybella assured. "She said I was her favorite student. I just taught her class and she said I did an amazing job."

"Teacher's pet!" Sam further harassed in a playful way.

"Ooh, that's cool." Sami responded. "Have you ever thought about becoming a teacher?"

Her? A teacher? She didn't feel qualified enough to be a teacher. Despite Mrs. Griffin's assertion that she did an amazing job, she felt like she stuttered and stumbled the whole way through her first time teaching today.

"I guess not." Sybella shrugged.

"Well, you really should think about it." Sami advised. "You seem like you'd be a great teacher!"

"Thanks." Sybella smiled, not fully believing the witch.

"Anyway, I'll let you get off to your interview. We've gotta get back to work on the pictures." Sami waved goodbye as she walked back over to Sam and Savana's workstations to get them on track. "This isn't the yearbook!"

Savana appeared to be looking at a picture of a muscle-bound vampire with his shirt off in a magazine.

"Oh shit, look at this hot vamp. His name is Theo!" Savana pretended to wipe the sweat from her brow from how "hot" this vampire was.

The last thing Sybella saw before leaving the room was Sami giving the other vampiress a disapproving look from the magazine she was reading.

Sybella passed the front door of Grimwood's, and luckily, saw Mrs. Griffin just as she was leaving for the day. The vampire would have thought she would have still been in her classroom, so she was really glad she decided to take this route.

"Hey, Mrs. Griffin! Do you mind if I ask you a few questions for the yearbook?" Sybella quickly blurted.

"Why, of course! I can take a few minutes." Mrs. Griffin agreed.

"Alright, thanks! What is your favorite part about Grimwood's?" Sybella inquired, taking out a pencil and notebook to write her teacher's answers down.

"I love all the students here. They are amazing and most of them are very dedicated to learning, and inclusive of others." Mrs. Griffin responded.

"Great answer!" Sybella complimented. "What would you say students take away from learning Human Studies?"

"Very good question." Mrs. Griffin smiled. "I would say the biggest thing they learn is how to cope in a world where humans are not always very inclusive of monsters. They also learn why humans behave the way they do around monsters, and how to change the world for the better."

"The last question is, what's the most rewarding part of teaching?" Sybella followed.

"Honestly, students like you are the most rewarding part, Sybella. You have a real thirst for knowledge, and you seem like a lifelong learner. That's all a teacher could ever ask for." Mrs. Griffin replied.

Sybella was speechless. Was Sybella really that good?

"Thank you, Mrs. Griffin. That means a lot." Sybella felt humbled by her instructor's comment.

"You're very welcome, Sybella. Now, I must get going, but I will see you on Tuesday!" Mrs. Griffin informed. "Have a good weekend!"

Mrs. Griffin's comments really helped assure Sybella's feeling of being an imposter at what she was best at. Maybe Sybella was cut out for teaching after all!

Friday, September 27

I'm still on Cloud 9 from Mrs. Griffin's thoughtful and honest commentary on my teaching skills yesterday! I was able to write the rest of my college application last night (and will have Miss Grimwood put it in the mail today) because I think I want to be a teacher. I want to inspire students to think critically and embrace knowledge as much as Mrs. Griffin and all my other teachers have.

When Sybella arrived at Environmental Studies class, she was reminded of another big event today besides the tour.

"Hey, Sybella! Ready for our last Harvest Dinner tonight?" Winnie howled with excitement.

"Wow, there's so much going on today!" Sybella felt a little overwhelmed, between the college tour, her two classes, and the Harvest Dinner.

"I sure am!" Sidney jumped in. Sybella had forgotten that since it was their last year, Miss Grimwood had invited all the seniors to the Harvest Dinner, instead of just the five of them like normal. Sybella and her four best friends were the headmistress's first class of students, as their first year at the school was when Grimwood's had opened, so they were the first graduating class of Grimwood's. Sybella loved that Miss Grimwood was trying to make it so special for them!

An unfamiliar male phantom walked in the classroom and made his way up to the front of the room.

"Hello students. Mr. Menville is not here today, so I am filling in for him. My name is Mr. Hertz. I also lost his lesson plan in my car, so today, we're just going to watch Glee."

"Sweet! I'm filled with glee knowing we're going to watch Glee." Sidney punnily replied.

"I a-glee with that!" Phantasma joked.

"Stop!" the same UDT official burst in the room. "Do you know if you watch that, you're watching a dated show?"

"Sir, I'm just trying to waste some precious, precious time with these children that could have been spent learning. In what crazy world is that not allowed? Besides, Glee is probably gonna be one of the most critically acclaimed shows of all time!" Mr. Hertz rebuked.

"Well, I suppose I can't argue with that." the UDT person slowly backed out of the room once again. "Carry on."

Sybella and the class spent the rest of the time pointlessly watching an episode of Glee, which even the vampiress had to admit was pretty good.

She had finally arrived at her final class of the week. The final class before she and Tanis's college tour, and the final class before the final Harvest Dinner!

"Greetings, class." Mrs. Innes began class. "Today, we're going to be reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling."

"She sucks!" Eric dissed.

"Stop! The young man is right!" the same officer shouted, as he burst into the room. "You can't read this!"

"Why not? It's one of the most critically acclaimed books of all time." Elsa asked, using the same argument as had been previously used in Coach Micucci's Government class.

"Yeah, what do you have against J.K. Rowling?" Alexis questioned. "She's one of the most beloved writers ever. What could make you hate her?"

"Oh, you'll see." the UDT officer ominously said. "In the meantime, I suggest you read this similar book."

He handed Mrs. Innes another book, which she read the title of as it reached her hands. "Teenage Glasses Wizard and the Confined Space of Hidden Truths?"

"Now, take my words of advice and don't read or do anything dated, ever. Anyway, I just found out I've been transferred to Hawaii, so you'll never see or hear from me again! Bye now!" the UDT officer stated. As he was about to leave, another man burst in the room in a black uniform reading "WCO."

"Stop!" the other man shouted. "I'm an officer of the WCO, Writing Cop Outs, and I'm here to say you cannot be transferred to Hawaii! It would simply be bad writing to write your character out of this story as a mere joke, especially in such a predictable way!"

"What the hell's going on?" Tate exclaimed.

"What does he mean, 'character'?" Alexis asked for clarification.

"Oh, I think the MJWC are at it again. Meta Joke Writing Convention, that is. Now, let's forget this incredibly odd incident ever happened and remember, don't ever try to be meta in your writing. It simply doesn't work." Mrs. Innes shook her head, as the two strange officers exited the room.

"Oh c'mon, Mrs. Innes. Even I'm smart enough to know that. Aren't I, readers?" Eric asserted, as he looked directly forward as if he were looking directly at the camera.

"Who the hell are you talking to?" Elsa snapped.

After a strange Literature class, it was finally time for Sybella's college visit!

"I just know you're going to love Leopold University." Miss Grimwood smiled. "One of my dearest friends went there, and she heartily enjoyed the experience."

"It's definitely my top choice!" Sybella replied, before turning to look at her mummy friend. "Are you ready to go, Tanis?"

"Yep!" Tanis exclaimed.

"Leopold University will be lucky to have you. Any college would, in fact. Now that we have students that are seniors, the colleges have practically been knocking down the doors trying to recruit you girls."

All of a sudden, the doorbell could be heard. Confused, Sybella went to answer it for Miss Grimwood. Upon opening the door, she saw a small one-eyed green creature, and a big blue monster with horns. The latter was holding a sign reading "Monsters University."

"We wanted a crossover too!" the blue horned creature said in a sad voice.

"No!" Sybella shook her head and slammed the door. "I can drive, Tanis."

"That's so cool you can say that! Actually, that's so cool that I can say I have a friend that can say that!" Tanis beamed.

Sybella found the mummy's comment to be incredibly adorable.

After about a half-hour of driving, the girls finally arrived at Leopold University. The vampire and the mummy beamed at the beauty of the arboretum as they drove in the entrance to the college. It seemed like there were trees for miles!

"Wow, look at this place!" Tanis exclaimed. Just as they reached the end of the arboretum, they noticed there were two ponds on either side of the road.

"Yeah, this is amazing!" Sybella agreed. "Who wouldn't want to come here?"

The vampiress stopped her hearse when she saw a male werewolf wearing a sweatshirt waving them down at the main gate.

"Hello. Are you here for the tour?" the person inquired.

"Yes! I'm Sybella Dracula and this is Tanis." the vampire princess introduced.

"What's your friend's last name?" the individual asked. Tanis was about to open her mouth, but stopped when the guy spoke again. "Eh, actually, it doesn't matter I guess. You can turn to the right and park in that lot."

The vampiress thanked the man, before following his directions and parking.

Sybella assumed the man was the gatekeeper or something, but as they parked, she saw the guy follow them.

"Hi, my name's Bill and I'll be your tour guide!" the werewolf, apparently named Bill, introduced.

"Nice to meet you!" Tanis greeted. Before Sybella had a chance to do the same, a female vampire came up and looked very frustrated.

"Hey! He's not your tour guide! I'm the real tour guide!" the female vampire snapped.

"Ah man, you got me!" the werewolf sighed. "I do technically guide people, though… guide them astray! Hahahaha!"

The werewolf strangely ran off, leaving the two girls with the real tour guide.

"That guy's been impersonating tour guides all week." the other vampiress shook her head. "Don't pay too much attention to him. Every college has gotten one, and he's ours. I hope that doesn't ruin your opinion of our college."

"Don't worry, we've got plenty of people like that at our high school too." Sybella rolled her eyes, thinking mostly of Eric.

"First, I'd like to guide you to the main places on campus: the dining hall, the study areas, the gym, the library, the residence halls, and any other buildings you may be regularly in." the other vampiress said. "My name's Nicole."

"Nice to meet you, Nicole!" Tanis chirped.

"Nice to meet you." Sybella followed.

The girls began walking to a building marked "dining hall."

"So, what do you think you'll be majoring in?" Nicole inquired.

"I'm going to major in History!" Tanis answered.

"Awesome, Tanis, you'll be in the Quad then, along which is the building that most History, Communication and Education classes take place in. What about you? It's Sybella, right?" Nicole looked at her clipboard, which presumably had the two of their names on it.

"I'm not sure. I'm thinking...teaching." There was a long pause before Sybella said 'teaching'. Even with Mrs. Griffin's high praise, the vampiress still didn't feel qualified or certain she wanted to do that for the rest of her life.

"You don't sound so sure." Nicole observed.

"Well…" the purple-haired vampire princess stuttered. "I don't know if I want to do that for the rest of my life. I'm not that good."

"I really wouldn't worry too much about that. The point of going to college is to figure out what you want to do. It's a time to experiment. That's why they have electives outside of your major that you're required to take. The college wants you to have a broad knowledge base, so you've got a lot of options to choose from. No one expects you to know what you want to do for the rest of your life. Maybe you'll find out you don't want to do it after all, and that's okay. People change majors all the time." Nicole advised. "As for your second point, no one is amazing at something before they go to college. If you were an automatic natural at it, you wouldn't have to go to college!"

She'd never thought of it that way before. In fact, the vampiress now realized she had put so much pressure on herself to have to be an expert at teaching to be able to pursue it, that she hadn't even thought rationally about it. Of course she'd need training before she could be the amazing, flawless teacher she wanted to be. Moreover, she now could say she wanted to be a teacher, because she felt like the pressure was off. She had never made the connection between her love of learning and wanting to teach, because she thought she had to be perfect at something to want to do it. College was just a time to pursue your interests and see what you liked, not a competition to be perfect at everything. The realization that she didn't have to be perfect lifted a heavy weight from her shoulders, that she had imposed upon herself for so long. Nicole's explanation prompted an epiphany in Sybella that changed her whole perspective on life after Grimwood's. Of course, she didn't want to be completely vulnerable with this random stranger she'd never met before, so she simply replied in awe: "That's such a great point."

"Thanks." Nicole smiled, baring a fang in a quirky way. "I think a lot of students feel the pressure when they first come to college, but no one expects you to be perfect at everything during your first year of college, much less your first day. Just pursue what you think you might like, and you'll find out if it's for you or not."

Even before seeing the entire place, Sybella knew she was going to love Leopold University if the students were as smart and as kind as their tour guide was.

After Nicole finished showing them the various places on campus, Sybella quickly recounted everywhere she had visited in her mind before they had to leave to get back to Grimwood's: the spacious dining hall with tons of options; the comfy, cozy study areas; the residential halls, which seemed so warm and inviting; the library, which seemed nice and quiet; the career center, which could aid her in finding her perfect career should she need help; and the gym, where she could get a little exercise when it wasn't nice outside.

"Thank you guys so much for coming here for a tour today! I hope you liked the place, and feel free to contact us if you think of any other questions." Nicole waved the girls off, and she led them back to the parking lot.

"No, thank you! Leopold University is definitely my first choice." Sybella revealed.

"Mine too!" Tanis followed.

The vampiress had applied to a few other universities, like Kingston University and Moranis College, but after the amazing tour, there was no doubt in Sybella's mind that where she really wanted to be for the next four years was right here at Leopold University.

The two girls talked all the way home about the amazing experience they'd had at Leopold University, between the super nice people, the beautiful scenery, and the seemingly endless possibilities there. After what felt like a long drive, the girls came home to Grimwood's just in time to join the others for the Harvest Dinner.

Miss Grimwood didn't skimp at all on the delicacies from the garden for their final Harvest Dinner: between the squishy squash, rotten watermelon, moldy cucumbers, and unripe pumpkin. There were around 30 people sitting at the table, which was a tad bit jarring because there were so many folding chairs crammed around their large dinner table so everyone could have a place to sit.

"So, did you girls have a good time at Leopold University?" Miss Grimwood inquired, as Sybella and Tanis served themselves vegetables from the Grimwood's garden.

"It was amazing." Sybella raved. "In fact, I think it's my first choice."

"Mine too!" Tanis exclaimed.

"It is?" Sidney inquired, who was sitting right next to them. "Mine too! We'll be going to college together...if we all get in, that is."

"I applied to go there too." Alexis revealed. "I really hope we all get in!'"

"So, Sybella, do you have any more of an idea of what you want to study now that you've gone on a tour and finished your application?" Winnie asked. Sybella felt a bit of pressure, as it seemed like everyone around them was looking at her.

Nonetheless, she confidently revealed. "I think I want to be a teacher."

"That's so cool!" Phantasma exclaimed. "What do you want to teach?"

Admittedly, Sybella hadn't really thought much about that yet. She thought for a moment, but then remembered Nicole's advice that she didn't have to make a final decision set in stone before she even got to college.

After a long period of silence, Sybella thought of how much she enjoyed being a teaching assistant for Mrs. Griffin, and responded: "Actually...I think I want to teach Human Studies."

Author's note:

So I'm realizing there were a lot of very meta jokes in this chapter. I guess I was just in a meta mood when writing this haha.

And once again...it's reference time!

- Phantasma's vague "19-wonderful" comment is a reference to the Rankin-Bass film Rudolph's Shiny New Year, in which they attempted to not date the movie by referring to the new year at the end of the film as "19-wonderful," since the film was released in 1976. Both fortunately and unfortunately for them, the film is still popular today, so "19-wonderful" seems quite awkward now given we're in the 2000s lol.

- Mr. Hertz showing the class a rerun of Glee because he doesn't have a lesson plan seems unlikely, no? That would never happen in real life, right? Actually, this is a personal reference to my Economics teacher during my senior year of high school, who would oddly show us episodes of Glee many times whenever she was too lazy to come up with a lesson plan that day. How the teacher wasn't fired, I have no idea, especially since it was well-known at our high school that she would do this on a regular basis. Also, I think it's safe to say the teacher in question is not ever going to be reading this, so I'll just add that "Mr. Hertz" may or may not be a slight variation on the spelling of her real last name haha.

- The green one-eyed monster and the blue-horned creature from Monsters University is a reference to the film Monsters Inc. and its sequel, Monsters University. If you didn't get that reference, that's why the blue monster was asking for a crossover haha.

- Kingston University is a reference to the setting of the first Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! episode, "Mystery 101."

I hope you enjoyed this chapter and are continuing to enjoy the fanfic! Only eight chapters left, so enjoy them while you can haha!
