Holly smiled at the sight of Paul holding a chocolate cake with a candle in the center. Beside him was Cat, wearing of all things a paper party hat. She knew he was
probably uncomfortable, but if he was, he didn't show it. When she opened her gift, a beautiful pink scarf, she hugged Paul tightly and kissed the top of Cat's head.
It was the best birthday ever.
