While Leroy Jethro Gibbs had laid down on the couch with Lucy joining him on the floor next to him. Marcie was more worried about him in regard to his physical and mental well-being.

She contacted a friend of hers an ex-Marine from Camp Pendleton needing to search for information on the local Cartel. Jerry Avery working for the Metro police in Alexandria, Virginia. She had sent off the email to his computer in his office. Hopefully, she was going to be getting an answer soon.

After she was done. She had to finish off on a story she had been working on Ex senator William Anderson and his daughter Melissa of the D.O.D.

Sending off the finished article to her editor before deciding on taking a well-deserved nap with Jethro downstairs on the couch. Unless he wanted to sleep and not interested in fooling around.

Editor Daniel Addison walked into his office after having a meeting with his reporters. There was a phone message for him to call. Ever since he was approached by two men from the local Cartel. He was scared for his life. He was able to contact the F.B.I. with them calling back when he was in the meeting.

Seeing the number on the desk along with all of the file reports. He had to do something unlike his last processor being killed in the process.

Locking the door so that no one will be able to walk in unannounced.

Dialing the number...

REGIONAL F.B.I. Tobias Fornell was sitting at his desk with his feet up once again with his entire office a complete mess like always.

He had just finished up a kidnapping case with his partner when his office phone was ringing. He's been waiting for the editor of the Washington, Post to call back saying something about a death threat from the local Cartel.

When all of a sudden he jumped with his feet hitting the floor with the phone ringing. "This is Special Agent Tobias Fornell of the regional F.B.I. Office how can I help you?"

"This is Daniel Addison editor of the Washington Post. I need your help with protection. I have been approached by a member of the local Cartel needing locations of Shannon and Kelly Gibbs." he says with a deep breath.

"When do you think they will approach you again?" Fornell had to ask.

"They are supposed to be coming to see me again in the morning and I have no idea what to say to them sir?" he was scared as hell.

"I will talk with my boss to set up a team of agents to watch them unless they try to cause you further problems," Tobias said with his long-time association with the Cartel.

"I highly appreciate this Agent Fornell. I will be in my office until late this evening in case something comes up?"

"No problem Mr. Addison." Tobias had to say with going back to his work in the office.

Marcie was sleeping in bed with her cell phone vibrating on the coffee table. She looked at the time finding that she had been asleep almost two hours. She looks at the caller I.D. and the name of Jerry Avery her friend. Grabbing the phone she had answered it. "Jerry that was fast calling me back?" she says in a soft tone.

"Yeah, I know Marcie. Listen I was able to check the location of a flower shop in Annadale for where a small casino is run by the local Cartel. Do you want me to contact NCIS or the F.B.I.?"

"I think it's best Jerry. Even though I am supposed to be turning in a story to my editor at the Washington Post."

"Don't you think it's too dangerous with turning that story in the first place?" he had to say on the subject.

"I tend to agree with you, Jerry," Marcie responded.
