(A/N: I own nothing read last chapter and read Velgamidragon's We Are the Men in Black.)

Who was that?

Vermouth frowned as she picked up her binoculars and focused on the base of the Ferris wheel where customers entered the gondolas. Curaçao was there with several PSB officers, one of them she recognized as Bourbon's immediate subordinate, but there was another man present she'd never seen before. He was huge, wearing a tan suit with black dress shirt and white tie, and from the way the other officers were interacting with him, he seemed to be a superior.

Vermouth frowned at that. Bourbon hadn't mentioned anything about getting a new boss at the PSB; had he been briefed on the MiB already? That could be troublesome to her plans. She focused the binoculars to get a closer look at him. Standing next to Curaçao, he seemed to be about Gin's height, maybe even taller, though that was harder to gage. He has a square jaw, a short gray beard and matching hair, tan skin, and a bushy eyebrow. The other one seemed to be missing due to some old-looking burn scars on the right side of his face. She swore she'd never seen him before, yet there was something familiar about him. She couldn't think of what or who, but the feeling was strongest when she stared at the one visible sharp-angled dark blue eye.

Something else grabbed her attention as well. She saw Cool Guy sneaking around inside of the Ferris Wheel and winced, he'd find the bombs then. Great. At least he wasn't trained to handle bombs or disarm them as far as she was aware. But how had he known to go there? How had he gotten there so fast without her seeing? Probably because she was busy hijacking the light system to cause a black out in a little while when Gin and the others were on approach.

But that threw a big wrench in her plans. She couldn't detonate the bombs while her Cool Guy was in there! She'd never want to hurt her Cool Guy. What's more was that if he was in there then it was likely that he would run into or at least see her accomplice.

She immediately dialed into the radio she had given him and hoped he'd listen to her about this. He'd better or he'd never get his revenge for his sister and she'd kill him herself if he dared hurt her Cool Guy.

"Nhlsm. It's me." Vermouth said and she heard an inhuman high pitched shriek from the other end of the line that she had no trouble at all understanding.

"You already know that we have to do anything we can to kill Curacao and keep her from returning to the MiB." Vermouth said, knowing that if anyone checked the logs they'd see that there was definitely something off about what had happened to Curacao in the MiB building.

"But there's something else now. A little boy, black hair, blue eyes, about three feet tall and smarter than any normal human boy is. Let me make this perfectly clear Nhsm. That boy is not to so much as have a scratch on him understand? If he does then I'll kill you myself. If it's between making sure Curacao is dead and that little boy is safe then that boy better safer than anything else in this universe. Understand me?" Vermouth demanded, her voice darker than a black hole and as cold as the North Pole.

"Good. Remember. The boy is not to be hurt at all and if you can then kill Curacao. If need be then kill any of the retrieval team aside from the silver haired male Jynnan Tonnix. He'll be useful in his grief." Vermouth said and earned an affirmative noise from the gRg-oil.

"Please Cool Guy get out of there." Vermouth murmured as she focused on the little bit she could see of her Cool Guy who seemed to have gone completely into the inner part of the Ferris Wheel where he couldn't be seen from the outside, even with her binoculars. Damn. She hoped he got out of there before the charges blew up.

If there was a single hair on his head out of place…

Glancing back at the Gondola loading spot Vermouth noticed that Curacao and the PSB agent, was it just the one right under Bourbon or was it also the new superior? She wasn't sure. Looking into the Gondola however she only saw Curacao sitting down, and it didn't look like she was actually handcuffed like they expected her to be, and the only PSB agent Vermouth saw was the one right under Bourbon.

That was good. He should be easy for Curacao to knock out once she regained her memories. Then Vermouth would have her answer on whether or not Curacao would still be under her mind control serum and honestly that was the biggest gamble of the entire thing. If she had her memories and the mind control serum no longer worked on her right now, then she'd probably get ahold of her brother immediately and let him know about what happened which would definitely ruin everything.

But if she was still under the effects of the mind control serum…then this could be saved and she was sure that there were more uses for Curacao…but if nothing else at least Nhsm would get his reward for his services these last few weeks. He'd get to kill the sister of Jynnan Tonnix, kill the sister of the agent who had caused his sisters death.

Right now all she could do was wait and hope and keep a careful watch.
