Hello! I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry for not updating! This is the longest that I haven't updated! It's been almost a month! I am soooooooo sorry! I just was really busy and had a lot of stuff going on with school. All the state tests and everything were just so stressful. I am so sorry! And I might not update for a while again because of everything that is going on. Again, I am sooooooooooooooo sorry! But anyways I really hope that you like my story so far! Here is the next chapter! Tony walked down the hallways for a few minutes until he turned a corner and saw at least ten soldiers with guns guarding a door that had a blue aura coming out from underneath it, and he quickly went back around the corner before they saw him
"Thor." Tony whispered
"What?" Thor replied over the comm
"I found him." Tony stated "I found Loki."
Now
"Where?" Thor asked
"Hold on." Tony whispered and then Jarvis pulled up a map of the army base that showed him, Thor, and Loki and the scepter
"Couldn't you have shown me this earlier?!" Tony said quietly to Jarvis "Just...nevermind."
"Okay. Thor. Take a right then a left." Tony stated
"Okay." Thor said in reply
"Go strait, strait...now turn right again." Tony said
"Okay." Thor replied
"Then go strait until you get to me. But be quiet and don't say anything. There's a ton of guards here." Tony exclaimed after a few moments
"Okay." Thor said
"And don't worry. I have a plan." Tony stated
"Okay." Thor replied and a couple minutes later Thor was walking up to Tony
"Okay." Tony said to Thor as he turned and carefully peaked his head out the corner to look at the soldiers "There are at least ten soldiers guarding the door. They're guarding the scepter which is in that room. And Loki may or may not be in there with it."
"Okay." Thor said as Tony backed up and turned to him again "What is your plan?"
"First we have to get rid of the guards." Tony stated "How are we going to do that."
"We could just go and fight them." Thor exclaimed "We would win. And then we could go in and get my brother and the scepter."
"Yeah, but then it gives us away...You know what nobody cares anymore. Let's do it." Tony said
Back with Steve, Clint, and Natasha
I can't do this anymore..I can't..." Bruce's voice echoed through Natasha's head
"Don't Bruce. Please." Natasha begged Bruce as he pointed the gun to his head
"I hurt to many people Natasha." Bruce stated, tears flowing down his face "I hurt you."
"Please." Natasha pleaded, tears streaming down her cheeks "I love you."
"I'm sorry." Bruce said and then he pulled the trigger
Natasaha jolted awake, breathing heavily, the covers sticking to her body, covered in sweat, and tears pricking at her eyes
"Woah. Natasha. It's okay. It's okay." Clint said as Natasha quickly got up and then she squeezed her eyes shut and closed her hands into fists
"Are you okay?" Clint asked
"Y-yeah..yeah I'm fine." Natasha stated, starting to calm down
"Sit down." Clint said, pushing Natasha back down onto the ground "Another nightmare?"
"Yeah." Natasaha replied quietly
"Is everything okay?" Steve asked, looking at them with worry
"Yeah." Natasha said "Everything's fine."
"Are you sure?" Steve asked
"I just had a nightmare." Natasha stated "I know. It's stupid. I'm crying and everything."
"No. It's not." Steve said, getting up and going over and sitting next to Clint, and Natasha "I still have nightmares of the war every now and then and I cry a lot."
"Yeah. I still have nightmares too." Clint said
"Thanks." Natasha said after a couple moments
"You're welcome." Clint replied
"Do you want to talk about it?" Clint asked after a few moments
"I...Do you guys remember on the Helicarrier when Bruce told us that we couldn't kill him because he tried..." Natasaha said
"...Yeah...I remember that..." Steve replied
"We'll...in m-my dream he he..." Natasaha said with tears starting to prick at her eyes
"What? What happened?" Clint asked
"Bruce put a gun to his head." Natasaha stated, a few tears starting to fall "And he pulled the trigger."
"Did...did it kill him?" Clint asked
"I-I don't know. I woke up before I-I could find out...I don't even know if I want to find out." Natasaha said, looking down
"Yeah." Clint said quietly
"Are you okay?" Clint asked after a few moments
"Yeah." Natasaha said in reply "I-I'm fine."
"Okay." Clint said
"Can I see him?" Natasaha asked after a couple moments
"What?" Clint replied
"Can I see him? Can I see Bruce?" Natasaha asked again "I need to make sure he's..okay."
"Yeah. Of course Natasha. Come on." Clint said as he helped her up
"We're gonna go see Bruce again?" Steve asked
"Yeah." Clint stated
"Okay." Steve said in reply as he got up from the bed "I'm coming too."
"Okay." Clint said "Let's go."
Then they all walked towards the door, out of the room, and headed to the dungeon to see Bruce
Back with Tony, and Thor
"Ready..." Tony said and then the soldiers turned the other way "Go!"
Tony ran out from behind the corner and started to shoot at the guards and Thor started hitting them across the room with his hammer
"Try not to hurt them." Tony stated as he shot another soldier, stunning them, and then hitting thier head and knocking them out "They're still good people. We're just here for Loki."
"Okay." Thor replied as he hit another one into the wall, knocking them unconscious
"Look out Thor!" Tony shouted after three of the soldiers that were left pulled thier guns out and pointed them at him and Thor
"Ahh!" Thor shouted as the soldiers started to shoot at him and he jumped behind the wall
"Hold on!" Tony shouted as he ran behind the wall too when the rest of the soldiers pulled thier guns and started shooting at them
"Thor." Tony said
"Yes." Thor replied
"Do you think you could like shock them all or something to knock them out." Tony asked as he carefully looked around the corner at the soldiers slowly getting closer and then turned back to Thor
"I think so." Thor stated
"Okay." Tony said and then backed away "Try not to hurt them."
"Okay." Thor replied and then turned around the corner and jumped and slammed him hammer on the ground, sending lightning everywhere and a huge shock wave through the ground, knocking all the soldiers unconscious
"Wow. Good job." Tony stated as he walked out from around the corner, and looked at all the soldiers knocked out on the ground
"Thank you." Thor replied
"Okay." Tony said, turning to the door which had a blue glowing light going through the cracks "Let's go get Loki."
Back with Clint, Steve, and Natasha
"Do you think they have Loki yet? It's been a long time." Natasha said after a few minutes of walking down the halls
"Maybe." Clint replied
"Guys?" Clint said after a couple moments
"Yeah." Steve replied
"I know I've asked this a lot but really...what do you guys think is going to happen after all of this? Do you think anything will change after all that's happened?" Clint asked
"Honestly, I don't really know what we're going to do after this." Steve said "I'll probably just want everything to go back to normal...waking up in the morning, having breakfast..."
"Telling Tony how bad he is at cooking." Clint added and they all laughed
"Yeah." Clint said "I want it to be like that to."
"But it can't...it won't...nothing will be the same after this...Bruce won't look at himself the same again... he'll think he's a monster..." Natasha said, looking down at the ground "Nothing will be the same..."
"Natasha" Clint said
"Don't Clint...I know that will happen." Natasaha interrupted and everyone was quiet for a couple moments
"Well that might happen." Clint said as he stopped Natasaha and she looked up at him "But we won't look at him differently."
"Yeah." Steve agreed "We'll still see the kind, shy doctor that he is. We won't just see the Hulk."
"Yeah." Clint said "We just need to convince him that he's not a monster, and that he's not a danger to us anymore."
"Yeah." Steve agreed again
"We'll fix this. Okay?" Clint said
"Okay." Natasha replied after a moment "Thank you Clint."
"You're welcome." Clint said and then they started to walk again
"So... I'm sorry to ask this but..I'm just curious..." Steve said to Natasha
"What?" Natasha asked
"You're...You like Bruce?" Steve asked and Natasha stopped in surprise
"I'm sorry. That was rude to ask." Steve said
"No, no it's fine it's just...I do like him..." Natasha admitted
"You do?" Steve said in reply
"...Yeah." Natasha said "...But with everything going on I just... don't think I'll ever be able to be with him...or even tell him that I like him."
"Yeah..." Steve said
"Yeah you will Natasha. Because we're going to fix all of this." Clint stated
"Yeah." Steve agreed
"Clint, you've been saying that this hole time and nothing has gotten any better." Natasha stated "How do you even know that we can fix this?"
"Natasha, we will." Clint said, grabbing and squeezing her hand "We have all been through a lot of things together...If you got through your past with the Red Room, and I got past mine, we can get through this."
"What if we can't." Natasha asked
"We will." Clint said "You and Bruce will get through this... together."
"But it's just...what if he doesn't like me like I like him..." Natasha asked after a couple moments
"He does." Clint said, squeezing her hand more "He just... doesn't want to hurt you."
"Yeah." Steve agreed
"Okay...Thank you Clint" Natasha said and then they started walking again and a few minutes later they were at the dungeon
Back with Tony, and Thor
Tony opened the doors and they walked inside
"Hello again brother." Loki said "Having fun with your friend?"
"Give us the scepter Loki." Thor demanded and Loki frowned
"Why should I." Loki asked
"Give it up Reindeer Games!" Tony said as he held his blasters up towards him
"What if I say no?" Loki said
"...Then we hurt you." Tony replied
"Just give us the scepter Loki and we can all go home. Back to Asgard, together. And we can forget about all of this." Thor said
"How can I forget about this?!" Loki yelled "You, hurting me! You, putting me in prison over and over again! You, ruining my life! And you, trying to say sorry for all of it!"
"Brother-" Thor started
"I am not your brother!" Loki shouted over him "And we will never be! Ever!"
"Loki..." Thor whispered
"Leave." Loki said "Now."
"No. We need the scepter, so give it." Tony said as he pointed his blasters and readied them
"Please Loki." Thor said "I'll-I'll convince father to keep you out of jail, I'll I-I'll be a better brother, I'll-I'll give up being king just, just come home...please."
Loki looked down and was silent for the next few moments and then he looked back up at Thor
"...You would really do that?" Loki said
"Yes, yes of course Loki. Of course." Thor said
"You might..." Loki said as he stared at the ground and then he looked up "But father will never change."
And then Loki shot at Thor and Tony, sending them across the room, and then ran
"Get him." Tony shouted as he got up from the ground, and then they ran after Loki
"Brother!'" Thor shouted as they chased Loki through the halls of the army base "Come back."
Loki led them into a pitch black room
"Loki?" Thor said as he carefully walked into the dark room
Loki shot at Thor but missed and then Thor jumped towards the direction the blast came from and tackled Loki to the floor and tried to grab the scepter from him
"Hold on." Tony said as he scanned the room for a light switch
"Okay. Found a light switch." Tony said and he turned the lights on
"Give me the scepter Loki." Thor said as they rolled across the floor
"No." Loki replied as he pushed Thor off of him and got up and went to run but then Tony shot him in the back, knocking him into the wall
"Sorry Reindeer Games but I did say I would hurt you." Tony said as he held up his blasters and hot ready to shoot again as Loki got up from the ground slowly "Just give us the scepter."
"No." Loki replied again and then copies of him went everywhere
"Seriously this again?!" Tony said with anger as he started to fight all of the Loki's that attacked him
"Just find Loki." Thor said as he punched one of the illusions across the room into the wall
"There!" Tony said as he pointed to Loki escaping through a door
Tony and Thor fought and destroyed the last of the illusions as they went after Loki
"Loki! Stop!" Thor yelled as they ran after Loki, and then Loki stopped and turned around
"Please Loki." Thor said "Give us the scepter."
"Give us the scepter. Now." Tony demanded as he pointed his blasters at him
"Fine." Loki said after a few moments as he held up the scepter "Take it."
"Thank you brother." Thor said
Then he went to grab it, but then when he tried to his hand went right through it and that Loki disappeared. And then he heard a gasp and turned around to see a long sharp green and gold dagger sticking out of Tony's side through his suit
"Stark." Thor said as he ran over to him
Thor looked up to see Loki running away with the scepter, and then he started to swing his hammer as lightning gathered around him
"Brother!" Thor shouted and Loki turned around and stopped
"Oh no." Loki said when he saw Thor coming at him with lightning surrounding him
Thor shot all of his lighting at Loki, surrounding him and knocking him to the ground. The lightning faded as he walked towards Loki and then put his hammer on his chest
"Seriously." Loki said after he tried to get up but was stopped by Thor's hammer on his chest "This again."
Thor ran over to Tony in worry, who was on his knees, holding his side in pain
"Stark." Thor said as he kneeled down next to him "Are you alright?'
"Yeah. I-I'm fine." Tony exclaimed as he started to try and get up
"Let's just get the scepter back to Asgard." Tony said as Thor started to help him get up "Nad you can heal me there right?"
"Yes." Thor said in reply as He helped Tony to start walking towards the scepter "Of course."
"Okay. Good." Tony said "Then let's just get to Bruce."
"Okay." Thor said as he carefully let go of Tony and went and got his hammer and Loki
"Come on." Tony said as he picked up the scepter "Let's go."
"Okay." Thor replied as he walked over to him with Loki "Are you ready."
"Yeah." Tony said, still holding his side
"Okay." Thor replied and then he lifted his hammer and a beam of rainbow light sent them back to Asgard
Back with Steve, Clint, and Natasaha
"You ready." Clint asked Natasaha as they stared at the giant golden doors infront of them
"Yeah." Natasha replied and they pushed the doors open and went inside
"Do you guys think that Thor and Tony have gotten the scepter yet." Steve asked as they walked to the back of the dungeon
"I hope so." Clint said in reply
"Yeah." Natasha agreed as they got closer to Bruce's cell
"You okay?" Clint asked Natasha after a few moments as Bruce's cell got into view
"Yeah." Naatsha replied as they approched the cell that Bruce was in "I'm fine."
They stopped infront of the cell and Bruce looked up at them with his icey blue eyes and snarled, and then Natasha closed her eyes and looked away
"Natasha." Clint said
"I'm fine." Natasha said in reply, opening her eyes, but not looking towards Bruce "I just want him back."
"Yeah." Steve said as he put a comforting hand on her shoulder "We all do."
"Uh...guys?" Clint said and Natasha and Steve turned to the cell Bruce was in to see the golden shield disappearing, along with all the other cells shields
