9h agoIn his office, Vice Principal Todd was looking at his phone of his old days in Harmony Heaven. Then he started scrolling around to other boy bands: Boyquake, Big Time Rush, and the men who gave him and his old band their big brand - NSYNC.
"Brantley," Principal Hopkins interrupted, "are you going to help our with that charity dinner tonight?"
"Right," Brantley replied. "And Big Time Rush is going to be the main attraction."
VP Todd hired Big Time Rush because the theme of Lititz Heights High's annual charity pizza dinner was Boy Band Memorabilia.

In the cafeteria, Kaylin, Estrella, and Paige were helping out while they were watching Big Time Rush perform "This is Our Someday." Just as they were about to sing the next verse, Kirby came up and sang dreadfully.
"That pink puffball is horrible," James groaned.
"We had to do a reunion gig for a school for a magic haven," Logan added.
"Tell that to Carlos," Kendall replied. "It was his idea."
Paige knew that she needed to keep Kirby from ruining everything, so she got out a Hawaiian pizza, which lured Kirby. While Kirby was rushing over, an article for a newspaper got onto his face. He removed the article and sucked the whole pizza in one bite.
"Tell that to Canada," Kaylin said as she spotted the article in the paper.
Original drafts of Harmony Heaven songwriter Alyssa Gentry-Cord stolen from Kansas City Boy Band Museum. Police say that their only known clue was a Roadhouse Fantasia coupon from the quaint town of Lititz Heights, Pennsylvania.
"Alyssa Gentry," Paige recalled. "She was Hamony Heaven's main songwriter."
Kirby was horrified because the original book was stolen too. He wanted to round up the others, but Estrella stopped him. "Leah and Tania are attending their spa day with their mom at Kailani's Hibiscus Spring" she explained, "and Rylie is taking Aaron to his annual doctor's appointment."
Just then, Peter came in shredding his skateboard through the charity dinner. "YO! DUDES!" he shouted. "Peter Hayato is in the house!"
Principal Hopkins was so annoyed by Peter's disturbance, she told him to leave. Kaylin, Estrella, Paige, and Big Time Rush felt very bad that Peter got kicked out of the charity pizza dinner.
Outside the cafeteria, Paige decided that he should help them solve the mystery and include Big Time Rush. Peter smiled, knowing that his sister always had a plan. Asking about suspects on who would take the book, Paige thought about three possible ones who had a connection in Kansas and with boy bands.
Suspects
Brantley Todd (Vice Principal of Lititz Heights High) - Former Harmony Heaven member and creepy appearance.
Ryan Carpenter (Postal service man) - Knows a lot about boy bands.
Harvey Tremble (Policeman from Kansas) - Former security guard for boy band museum.

After the charity dinner, Estrella, Kaylin, Kendall and Logan were arriving at the local music shop where they decided to look for answers for the museum theft. Unfortunately, they found nothing until they saw a note that says, 'It's gonna be me to take the notes, be sure you give me credit for the Harmony quotes.'
Logan thought that the culprit misspelt the note, but Estrella knew that this was lyrics from a familiar song - they just didn't know where.
Suddenly, Swinger was going around banging cymbals until Kendall confiscated the cymbals form him. "Cymbal-banging monkeys," Kendall laughed. "What next, birds that insult people and hamsters with Australian accents?"
Nervously, Kaylin and Estrella shook their heads in exaggeration.

At Guavera's Cantina, Paige, Peter, Kirby, James and Carlos decided to talk to Brantley about his experience as a boy band member. Inside, they saw the entire LHPD having BTR Karaoke. Onstage, a '90s-styled policeman was dreadfully singing "I Want It That Way" from the Backstreet Boys. "Dude," Carlos whispered, "that singing is horrible."
"I know," James whispered, "but look at the way he danced."
After the policeman danced, everyone nervously clapped. Even though his singing was horrible, they agreed to applaude so they wouldn't hurt him.
"Nice, Harvey," lied Chief Hess. "You should join the circus."
Harvey thought it was a compliment and sat down to read "Boy Band Dancing for Weirdoes."
Chief Hess was with the Hayato twins and was annoyed. Not only had he hated Paige and her friends solving crimed before he did, but he also hated Peter causing a pigsty in the town. He got so annoyed, he kicked them out of the Cantina. VP Todd was horrified because it reminded him of his judgements, so he placed his fake fangs in, scared Chief Hess, and told him to let Paige and her friends solve the mystery. Delighted with Chief Hess's decision to let them solve the mystery and not to press charges, VP Todd left...but not before he snatched something from Officer Tremble's pocket.
Outside, VP Todd cheered the boys up with some bored and peaceful Shinkomon cards, and the note, "My voice may be hated, but it ain't no lie baby, bye bye bye."
Paige had a feeling that this might be a clue.

Later at Roadhouse Fantasia, Kendall, James, Peter and the Klue Queens were going over a few clues. Meanwhile, James, Carlos, and Kirby were both hogging up all the desserts from the buffet when Rick and Tokkori secretly told them "come here" in Spanish. Knowing that their friends of the Klue Queens, they snuck by the boys room.
"Y'all must be Bandana Man and the El Meteor fella," Tokkori growled. "Shouldn't you two burn your faces?"
James was offended, but Peter told him to mellow out. "Forgive him, mates," Rick whispered. "He always insults people. Anyway, we heard about the theft in Kansas. Tokkori snuck into the police station, went into one of the workers lockers, and took this."
From Rick's hands, they showed the boy band museum. After whispering to Paige's ear on whose locker they stole it from, Paige got an idea.

The next morning at the Lachey apartments, Harvey was coming out of his apartment in his pajamas when the mailman, Ryan Carpenter, came in with a note.
You're cordially invited to the Boy Band PJ Party at Guavera's Cantina.
Come at 8am.
Looking at his watch, he realize it was already 7:30AM.
After he left, Ryan contacted Paige about their plan.

At Guavera's Cantina, everyone was going around in '90s apparel and were getting ready to ambush Harvey. When Harvey barged in while wearing his teddy bear pajamas, everyone laughed at him. Harvey was so embarrassed that he tried to escape. Observing a glue stick from the arts and crafts corner, Paige, Estrella, and Kaylin shouted, "Kirby, suck it up!"
Kirby gulped it and turned into Glue Kirby.
"Organic and non-toxic of course," Kaylin reminded.
Using the glue power, Kirby trapped Harvey into the glue. He tried to get out, but he dropped the stolen songbook. Luckily, Tokkori popped out and grabbed the book in time.
"Impossible!" Harvey shouted. "I had this plan out perfectly. I didn't go through all the trouble of going to that karaoke convention in Kansas, which is a perfect excuse to cover up my operation."
"Of course a few clues were there," Estrella said, "like that those crazy notes we found at the music shop and Guavera's Cantina that said 'Gonna Be Me' and 'Bye Bye Bye', both which are part of NSYNC songs, and of course that book you were holding that says 'Boy Band Dancing for Weirdoes' meaning that you must know a lot about dancing, but not their singing. Finally, there was the map of the museum Tokkori found at the police station."
"I use to be a lyricist for Palmtree Records," explained Harvey. "I tried to audition for 'Big Time Rush' season 2, but they couldn't stand my singing. Instead, they inulsted me by telling me to go to the police academy."
"You know," Kendall replied, "you kind of remind us of Jett Stetson: a bit prideful and stupid."
Chief Hess decided to take care of it form here. "Looks like your demoted to janitor," he declared as he dragged a sticky Harvey away.
"Don't worry," Kaylin replied. "Thanks to the rain outside, Harvey will be less sticky."
Kirby cheered with victory while eating some corn dogs. "Kirby," asked Estrella asked curiously, "where did you get the corn dogs?"
Hearing this, Kirby pointed at Carlos, who was giving Swinger a banana on a stick. "Carlos," Logan asked sternly, "did you tell Kirby about your secret stash?"
"Yes," admitted Carlos. "But he was super hungry."
"Carlos got banned from the Friendly Scouts for life for eating all the cookies," Logan explained. "Felix was totally embarassed by this."
"Who cares?" Kaylin asked. "LET'S PARTY!"
Everyone celebrated with BTR songs.
The End
