Kyouka was sitting against the wall right next to the nurse's office, hugging her knees against her chest.

'Why, Izuku? Why did you have to push Todoroki to use his flames? You could've beaten him and moved onto the next round so easily. I still don't understand even after your explanation. Is it because of his backstory?' Kyouka thought to herself before the image of Todoroki's face flashed in her head, causing her eyebrows to furrow. 'He probably told you that sob story just so you would feel bad for him and not only focus on winning. He knows how sympathetic you are and used it against you. Hell, I would bet he made up all of that sad crap before talking to you.'

And even if it wasn't made up, that doesn't give Todoroki the right to be pitied.

Izuku had gone through his own fair share of shit too, being tormented by Bakugo for most of his life and feeling like he could never amount to anything. And then he trained so hard for 10 months to finally get the opportunity to have a quirk of his own.

She remembered how hard Izuku pushed himself, resorting to ruining his own body if he felt like it was necessary to complete his training. She hated the memory of Izuku working out past midnight, hurting himself and still not thinking he was good enough.

At least Todoroki had a strong start, being blessed with such an amazing quirk and having the reputation of being the son of the number two hero. He was set for life straight from the beginning. There was no question that Todoroki would be one of the most powerful heroes out there, even if he only used his ice.

But he just had to let Izuku know about his stupid past. What reason did he have to share that kind of info in the first place?

Kyouka then stared at the ground as if it was her enemy, her breathing starting to get a little heavy while she clenched her teeth.

'It's all Todoroki's fault. Your current injuries and the loss of your victory. It's because of him. You were going to win this festival, Izuku. I know it would've happened… I swear, I'll get that bastard back for what he did to you, Izuku.'

A part of her wanted to find Todoroki right now and do everything she could in her power to get her payback.

She knew she stood no chance against him in terms of power, but if she could just catch him off guard and get her hands on him when he's all alone then she could…

Before dark thoughts could enter Kyouka's mind, a voice called out to her. "Jirou?"

Kyouka snapped back to reality and blinked, looking up to see Momo standing right in front of her. "Huh, Yaoyorozu? Why are you here?"

"I could ask you the same thing." Momo responded, crossing her arms. "I knew you stayed behind to talk to Midoriya, but you were gone longer than a couple of minutes. So I got worried and looked for you."

"Oh… My bad." Kyouka said, losing interest immediately. "Well, you can see I'm doing just fine so you can go on ahead and join the others."

"Aren't you going to come with me or at least prepare in one of the waiting rooms?" Momo asked, sitting next to Kyouka. "Iida's match is about to start and you're up next. You can't miss your match against Ashido."

"To hell with the festival. Just let the teachers know that I forfeit and to give the match to Ashido. I'll be staying here." Kyouka mumbled as she looked to the side.

Momo gasped. "What are you talking about? You're not seriously saying that you're giving up, are you?"

"Of course I'm saying that. What else would I be saying?" Kyouka asked as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Jirou, you have to understand how important this is-"

"Blah, blah, blah." Kyouka cut her off, her hand making a talking motion. "Look, if it's so important then why don't you fight in my place instead? You wouldn't mind having a second chance, right?"

"That isn't allowed and it would be a disgrace to the principles of the festival. I don't appreciate what you're saying, Jirou."

"If you don't like what I'm saying then you can kindly leave. I'm going to be staying right here whether you like it or not."

"And do you think Midoriya would like that?" Momo suddenly asked. "Do you honestly believe he'd be content with your decision?"

Kyouka felt her anger rise in an instant as she glared at Momo and aggressively poked against the other girl's chest, ready to fight her again. "And just what the hell do you know about Izu-"

"I may have only known Midoriya for a couple of weeks and don't know him nearly as well as you do, but I can tell that he's the type of person who would never want to be the reason for his friend forfeiting something as important as the Sports Festival. Especially when it's his best friend." Momo cut off Kyouka as she stared her down with unwavering eyes. "He would want you to keep moving forward and do everything in your power to win. Do you want to disappoint him by just giving up? Are you really going to do that to Midoriya? Do you care about him that little?"

Kyouka was left speechless at Momo's words before tears began to well up in her eyes as she remembered what Izuku last said to her before he passed out. He wished her luck for her next match, hoping she could move on even though he won't be there with her.

All Izuku ever wants out of Kyouka is to be the best person she can be and not lose herself. She knows that because that's exactly what she wants for him as well.

What would that make her if she ignored his words entirely? Would he still see her as a friend if she betrayed him like this? She told herself that she would show Izuku what she could do and show off that she has determination too.

Izuku gave it everything he had and it would be disgraceful of her if she did the complete opposite.

"N-No… I…I wouldn't do that to Izuku… I can't do that to him." Kyouka said in a choked up voice, taking her hand off of Momo and putting it over her mouth. "I-It's just I don't know why he had to lose like that… He was fucking winning his match by a landslide. He had Todoroki at the edge of the arena while he was too worn out from using his ice. He could've easily punched or pushed Todoroki out in an instant and then victory would've been his. Anyone else would've taken that opportunity."

"I can understand what you mean. I'll admit, Midoriya's actions were unclear to me as well." Momo said with a sigh. "But maybe something is going on with Todoroki that only he is aware of?"

Kyouka knew she could've explained Todoroki's entire stupid backstory, but that would be outing herself out from when she eavesdropped on Izuku and Todoroki's conversation after the cavalry battle.

"Maybe…" Kyouka mumbled, taking her hand off of her mouth as tears streamed down her cheeks and dripped onto the floor. "I-I thought I wouldn't have to see Izuku injure himself again after he learned that new technique of his. I thought I wouldn't have to see him in another hospital bed. I understand that he broke himself because it was the only way to counter Todoroki's attacks, but I still hate the sight of his limbs breaking. I always will. I promised myself that I would stay by his side if he ever ends up in this state again, but I'm not even allowed to do that. I feel so useless."

"Jirou, it's okay. You're not useless. You thinking about Midoriya and wishing you were by his side is just as good as being with him. I am sure he would say the same." Momo reassured with a smile.

"You really think so…?" Kyouka asked as she looked into Momo's eyes, looking for any doubt the other girl might have.

Momo's eyes remained unwavered as she gave a nod. "I know so. Now tell me, are you still going to give up or will keep moving forward?"

Kyouka gave a small smile back. "I'm going to keep moving forward." She made a fist, looking at it. "I'll kick Ashido's ass and show Izuku that he was right to put his faith in me."

Momo sweatdropped. 'A little crass with the wording, but I'm glad to see she hasn't lost her fire.'

Momo then created a handkerchief from her hand before handing it to Kyouka. "You do that. And we'll all be cheering for you... Midoriya included."

"Thank you, Yaoyorozu." Kyouka said, taking the handkerchief and wiping her tears with it. "I seriously needed that talk. You probably thought I was being a drama queen, huh?"

"No, not at all. But if anything, this confirms a little theory I've been having for a while now." Momo stated as Kyouka looked at her in confusion.

'Theory? What theory could she possibly have that would get confirmed from this talk?'

"Jirou. Do you possibly have feelings for Midoriya?"

Kyouka's face went red at the question before covering her face with the handkerchief. "Wh-What do you mean by that?! I-I think you're talking crazy right now! Don't think you can make me admit things because I'm emotional right now!"

Momo couldn't help but giggle as she put her hand over her mouth. "It's alright, Jirou. It's a little obvious once you start paying attention, honestly. I started to notice back at the USJ when I saw how caring you were towards Midoriya when you were applying his bandages. Then your attitude during and after Midoriya's match confirmed my suspicions. I know it's not unusual for best friends to be so passionate about one another, but your passion was different. I could tell…" She then gave a playful smile. "Also, I notice the glances you give him every so often during class. Remember that I do sit a couple of seats behind Midoriya. I'm genuinely surprised Midoriya hasn't noticed yet, considering how perceptive he is."

'She noticed that too?! Man, I thought I was smooth with those glances. Shit, I can't think of a better excuse…'

Kyouka sighed, knowing there's no way to convince Momo otherwise. "Yeah… I've had feelings for Izuku for as long as I've known him. I can't think of a single day where my feelings have been any different…"

Momo widened her eyes at the extra details Kyouka provided. "You two met in middle school, is that right? So even since then?"

"No- Y-Yeah!" Kyouka quickly saved herself with a nod before her face turned a light red. "I've loved him ever since the first day of middle school…"

She almost slipped up there and admitted that it was ever since they were children. This was her first time ever telling somebody this. The only time she shares her feelings is when she writes in her notebook and she's completely honest there. She's gonna have to practice lying about certain details when it comes to her love for Izuku.

"Amazing. Love at first sight? It sounds like something that only occurs in fairy tales." Momo pondered, cupping her chin. "Is that really how your feelings are with Midoriya?"

Kyouka nodded with full confidence, smiling as she looked up at the ceiling. "Exactly. I remember the moment my feelings for him began so vividly. When we bumped into each other on the school rooftop and the first thing he did was offer to help me up. Then I looked up at his adorable face and everything just clicked. Granted, from there things got a little rocky between us after that, but I wouldn't have changed that moment for the world. I didn't realize my feelings right away, but it didn't take long for me to realize just how important Izuku is to me and that will never change…"

'Wow… I've never seen Jirou talk so passionately about something before. This must be true love then, huh?' Momo thought to herself as her smile widened. 'It's quite adorable.'

Momo then felt her phone vibrate before checking it to see it was a text from Ochako.

Uraraka: IIDA WON HIS MATCH! WHOO!

Uraraka: Btw did you find Jirou yet?

Yaoyorozu: Yes I did. And Iida winning his match means that it's almost time for Jirou to begin hers. I'll let her know.

Uraraka: K!

"What was that?" Kyouka asked, tilting her head.

"Uraraka was letting me know that Iida's match has ended. That means it's almost time for yours to begin." Momo said as she put her phone away and sighed. "It's a shame though. I would love to hear so much more about your feelings since I've never had a girl talk before and it's quite exciting if I'm being honest."

"I wouldn't mind doing it again, but you are keeping what we talk about a secret, right?" Kyouka asked with a serious tone as she stood up.

Momo stood up as well, nodding. "Of course. I promise to not tell a soul. It would make me a horrible person if I shared secrets like that."

Kyouka looked satisfied with that answer before looking like she has more to say.

"Oh, one more thing, Yaoyorozu..." Kyouka called out in a timid sounding voice.

Momo raised an eyebrow at Kyouka's sudden tonal shift. "Yes? What is it?"

"Well, now that you know about my feelings for Izuku, there's something I gotta ask you." Kyouka said in a cold tone as she stared right into Momo's eyes with an emotionless look. "Just how do you feel about Izuku?"

The entire corridor suddenly got cold as Momo felt a shiver travel down her spine and could feel her hairs standing on end. "H-How do I feel about Midoriya?"

"Yeah… It shouldn't be a hard question to answer, right?" Kyouka asked as her face got closer to Momo's as if she was a predator ready to attack her prey at any moment.

'What has gotten into Jirou all of the sudden? She's not usually like this. Maybe it's just some of her lingering grief from Midoriya's loss mixed with her nervousness for her match against Ashido? Yeah, that has to be a reasonable explanation.' Momo explained to herself, trying to justify Kyouka's behavior.

However, that didn't stop the tall girl from feeling like she was the smallest person on the planet right now.

"I-I see Midoriya as a good friend and a trustworthy ally. However, I could only see our relationship going as far as being platonic, I promise you." Momo answered in all honesty.

The corridor's temperature returned back to normal in an instant as Kyouka gave a smile as if nothing happened. "Cool. Well, I'll be seeing you. I got a match to get to."

Momo watched Kyouka's back as the other girl began to walk away, sighing in relief. 'What happened?' She shook her head, trying to not think about it too much. 'No, thinking about it may just lead to ridiculous conclusions. I wish you luck, Jirou. You have my and Midoriya's full support.'

Flames erupted from the four corners of the Arena as Kyouka and Mina were standing at opposite ends of each other.

"These two are the only girls left in these matches! But only one will survive and move on to the semifinals! From the hero course, Kyouka Jirou! Versus, from the same class, Mina Ashido!"

"Hope you're ready for a whooping, Jirou!" Mina exclaimed as she stuck out her tongue.

"Trust me, I'm not the one who's going to get whooped." Kyouka remarked with a small smirk.

"Get ready…"

'I'm winning this, Izuku. I won't have it any other way.'

"Go!"

Mina started the match by sliding towards her opponent with her acid at a fast speed, as Kyouka sent out her earphone jacks towards her to attack.

Mina jumped, dodging Kyouka's earphone jacks before landing and continuing to slide towards her. "Whoops! Nice try, Jirou, but you're not getting me with those!"

'Of course she dodged them. She managed to dodge Aoyama's lasers, so why should this be any different?' Kyouka thought to herself, sighing. 'But good thing I have a backup plan…'

"Don't worry, I'll be more gentle with you than I was with Aoyama!" Mina taunted with a snicker as she got closer, now being a few feet from Kyouka before pulling back her arm for a punch.

"Is that so? Behind you, Ashido." Kyouka simply said with a smirk as she pointed behind her opponent.

"Huh?" Mina turned around to see Kyouka's earphone jacks coming straight for her. "Crap!"

Mina came at a full stop before starting to throw acid at the earphone jacks to stop them from coming closer to her. She knew that if those things got into her ears then she would be done for. 'It's not like I have earplugs like Yaoyorozu!'

"Hey, don't forget about me." Kyouka called from behind Mina, distracting the other girl before her earphone jacks plugged into the ground below her opponent's feet, channeling her heartbeat into them and destroying the ground below.

Mina began to lose her footing as Kyouka quickly ducked down and used her right leg to sweep the back of Mina's feet.

"A smooth sweep!"

"Wh-Whoa!" Mina yelped out before she fell on her back, closing her eyes on impact.

However, when Mina opened her eyes, she was met with two earphone jacks just centimeters away from her eyes while Kyouka stood there with her arms crossed, smirking. "So, are you gonna give up or do you want to know how it feels when these things are jammed into your eyeballs? Sero might want a warning in the future."

Mina's entire body shook in fear as she imagined the pain before sighing in disappointment. "I…I give up…"

"Ashido has surrendered!" Midnight announced, pointing her whip at the two girls. "Jirou is victorious!"

Kyouka retracted her earphone jacks and sighed in relief. 'Good thing I ended that as quickly as possible. A stretched out match against Ashido would've screwed me over, considering her physical abilities are the best out of all the girls in class. Good thing she's a bit of an airhead though.'

"Dang it. That was such a lame way for me to lose!" Mina whined as she sat up, pouting. "I was hoping to at least look awesome."

Kyouka began to leave the arena before looking up at the bleachers and seeing that Izuku was still absent. 'I wish you could've seen that, Izuku. But at least I know you're still cheering me on. I'll see you soon…'

Izuku was walking through the corridor, making his way to the bleachers to join his friends and watch the remainder of the matches.

His right arm was all bandaged up and in a sling, while two fingers on his left hand were covered in bandages. Meanwhile, his jacket was hanging off of his shoulders with some bandages covering his torso as well.

The young boy had just gotten dumped with some info from All Might just a few moments ago. He had learned that All Might used to be quirkless just like he was. That made him feel much closer to his idol and gave him a bit more faith that he can be a worthy successor. However, he couldn't help but think of the possibilities if someone like Todoroki inherited One For All. His mind started to drift to the possibility of Kyouka having it, but he shook his head, not wanting to get too many ideas and end up going on a needless muttering spree.

Izuku then arrived at the bleachers above where his friends were sitting and looked down to see Bakugo and Kirishima fighting in the arena before sighing in frustration, realizing what match he missed. "Dammit. I seriously wanted to watch Kyouka's match against Ashido."

He looked at the brackets before smiling as he saw that Kyouka was the winner of that match. 'I knew she was going to win against Ashido. It does suck I wasn't there to cheer her on though. I'm assuming Kyouka made it a quick match, considering how amazing Ashido's physical abilities are and her excellent use of her quirk.'

He knew that Mina was going to be a tough match for Kyouka and he imagined a few scenarios in his head before he went through his surgery. One thing Kyouka could've done is get close to the edge of the arena and use Mina's momentum against her, tricking her out of bounds. Another option could be using one of the self defense techniques he taught Kyouka to render Mina immobile. But that wouldn't work with Mina being able to produce her acid from her entire body, not just her hands and feet, so Kyouka would have no choice but to let go of Mina.

"Man, I'm excited just thinking about it. I definitely have to watch the recording of that when I get home. And probably rewatch her fight against Yaoyorozu as well." Izuku noted before widening his eyes as he remembered about Iida out of the blue. "O-Oh yeah, can't forget about Iida's match either." He then looked back at the bracket and smiled as he saw that Iida won his match against Shiozaki. "Good for you, Iida."

He had no clue why he completely forgot about Iida for a few moments there. It's like Kyouka was the only thing on his mind. Maybe it was just because he was thinking of Kyouka's match the most before his surgery? He then shook his head and decided to not let his mind linger on that thought for long and just accepted his personal reason for forgetting about Iida.

"Bakugo's having a heck of a time dodging Kirishima's attacks!"

"Whoa, Kacchan's on the defensive? I guess Kirishima's quirk seems simple on the surface, but it's still effective." Izuku muttered to himself, watching the match and seeing Kirishima continuously throw punches at Bakugo as he kept dodging.

"Midoriya!" Iida called out from behind as he approached Izuku. "I take it your surgery must have gone well. I'm glad."

Izuku snapped out of his muttering before he could go on his spree and looked at Iida. "Yeah, thanks. And congrats on your win."

Iida stood next to Izuku and looked at him. "I'm up against Todoroki. I watched your fight with him closely. Maybe I can learn from it."

Izuku gave a small nod. "Yeah… Is Ingenium excited that you've blown through the bracket? He must be so proud of his little brother."

"I'm not sure. I called him earlier, but he was working." Iida answered with a bit of a solemn look on his face.

"Oh, sorry."

"No, it's for the best. When we do talk, maybe I'll get to tell him that I won." Iida said, now smiling.

"Well, you still have Kyouka standing in your way, and let me warn you, she can be quite stubborn." Izuku retorted with a raised eyebrow.

Iida chuckled. "She is your best friend, so I would expect as much."

Izuku sweatdropped, giving a small frown. "What is that supposed to mean?"

Iida just continued to chuckle in response and Izuku's smile grew before returning his attention to the match. However, a certain force of nature wasn't going to let his attention stay on the match for long.

"Izuku!" The green haired boy suddenly heard from behind before being practically tackled from behind and enveloped in a tight hug.

Izuku immediately recognized that voice as Kyouka's, causing him to smile in both happiness and a little bit of pain. "I-I'm happy to see you, Kyouka. Also, ouch… A little more gentle, please. Not fully healed yet."

Kyouka's face went pale at Izuku's request before loosening her hug on him right away. "Shit! S-Sorry about that…"

'Dumbass! Why did I immediately hug him like right after he just went through surgery?! I could've easily been a hell of a lot gentler!'

Kyouka wasn't even thinking. All she did was let her body act first and foremost as soon as she saw that green hair of his. Now she was getting worried that she might've hurt him to the point where he has to return to the nurse's office.

Izuku chuckled before turning his head to see his best friend. "It's alright, honest. The pain is already starting to fade away."

Kyouka sighed in relief, glad that she didn't cause him too much pain. "That's good to know. But if you need me to do anything else, then don't be afraid to ask."

"I would hate to be the one to ruin this moment between you two, so I'll be off." Iida suggested but noticed that Izuku was about to protest. "It's fine. I should probably get a head start, considering my match is coming up. I wish you luck, Jirou."

Kyouka widened her eyes, looking at Iida as he began to leave. 'The hell? Was he always here? I didn't even notice Iida was next to Izuku. Guess my vision was a teeny bit tunneled when I saw Izuku…'

"Y-Yeah, good luck to you too…"

"Bakugo is countering again! But what's this?! It seems to be working this time!"

The two friends snapped their attention back to the arena to see Bakugo seeming to damage Kirishima now before starting to fire a barrage of explosions at his opponent, not letting up.

"No way… Kirishima's defense is being broken through." Izuku commented. "I guess it makes sense. Every quirk has limitations after all."

Kyouka finally released her hug from Izuku and stood next to him before sighing. "Looks like the asshole is about to claim another victory…"

Bakugo then fired one last large explosion at Kirishima, sending his opponent flying and falling on the ground, now knocked out cold.

"Kirishima is knocked out! Bakugo is the winner!" Midnight announced, pointing her whip at Bakugo.

"With that vicious carpet bombing, Bakugo advances to the third round! Ladies and Gentlemen, our final four!"

Both friends looked up at the big screen to see Todoroki's, Iida's, Kyouka's, and Bakugo's faces on the big screen.

'So I'm really up against Bakugo, huh?' Kyouka thought to herself and lowered her head. 'I knew this was coming, but it's just now hitting me. Fighting Yaoyorozu and Ashido is going to look like a cakewalk compared to Bakugo. The only advantage I have is being with Izuku when we wrote down a lot of his notes on Bakugo, but I can't imagine that making things much easier with his damn quirk. This is gonna be hell…'

Izuku was obviously looking worried at these two matchups, mainly Kyouka going up against Bakugo. 'It's not that I don't believe in Kyouka, but from what I saw from Kacchan's matches against Uraraka and Kirishima, he's not going to go down easy. This is the most motivated I've ever seen him and that is the most frightening thing about this...'

And if Izuku was being completely honest, he wished that he was the one who would be in the semifinals so he would have a chance to finally go up against his old friend. At least he didn't think he wished that for some personal grudge, but he wanted to have a chance to go up against Bakugo on equal terms in this festival.

Kyouka noticed her hero's expression before gently patting his back. "Hey, no need to worry about me. Sure, my quirk may not be stupidly powered, but I can be one stubborn bitch and you of all people should know that. I mean, I gave Yaoyorozu a run for her money and she got 1st place during our quirk apprehension test."

"Well, you definitely aren't a bitch, but the stubborn part is correct." Izuku stated, his face looking a little less worried before giving a small laugh. "I even gave Iida a small warning about that if he manages to beat Todoroki. I really hope my stubbornness didn't rub off on you."

Kyouka smirked. "It probably did, but that's for the best. I can't imagine a quality of yours that I wouldn't want to rub off on me."

'Well, maybe one… His forgiving nature. He probably doesn't hold a single grudge towards Todoroki and I don't fully understand his feelings on Bakugo even after all this time. But I bet he doesn't hate Bakugo as much as I do, even though he should hate that asshole even more.'

Kyouka and Izuku hadn't had a serious talk about Bakugo ever since their first year of middle school when she learned about their relationship before and after Bakugo got his quirk. She knew that one day they would have to have another one of those conversations, but she didn't want that plaguing her mind right now.

"Well anyway, let's get down and join Uraraka and Yaoyorozu to watch Iida's match." Izuku suggested before beginning to walk forward, but was stopped by Kyouka grabbing onto his wrist.

"No…" Kyouka refused without hesitation. "Do you think we can watch from up here? Just the two of us?"

Kyouka then tightened her grip on him by the smallest amount to not hurt him but was still noticeable. After not being able to spend more time with him while he was in the nurse's office and going through surgery, she was going to make sure she had as much alone time with him as possible, even if it won't be for long.

"Huh? Why would yo-" Izuku started to ask, but stopped himself as he felt what Kyouka was doing. "Yeah… Of course we can."

"The first match of the semifinals! Both come from hero families, making this a battle of the elites! From the hero course, Tenya Iida! Versus, his classmate, Shoto Todoroki!"

Flames erupted from the four corners of the arena as Iida and Todoroki stood at opposite ends of each other.

'Come on, Iida. You can kick this guy's ass. Literally. As much as I would love to have my go at him, you're more than welcome to right now.' Kyouka thought to herself as she glared at Todoroki.

"Start!"

Todoroki started off the match by sending out a wave of spiked ice towards Iida.

Iida then began to run towards Todoroki's flank, dodging the ice wave before Todoroki responded with another wave of ice as Iida dodged that one as well.

Iida was now in between two rows of ice with not much space to run.

"Iida's been surrounded!"

"Whoa, that's the same move Todoroki used on me, but this one doesn't seem as narrow." Izuku noticed as he cupped his chin. "Guess he's not counting on Iida injuring his hands to counter the ice as he did for me."

Kyouka gave a small frown towards Izuku as she heard his words. 'Please don't talk about it like it's clever… If it wasn't for that dirty trick of his, your knuckles wouldn't have been all scratched up and end up bleeding the way they did. Can't you show at least a little bit of animosity for Todoroki?'

Todoroki then sent out a large wave of ice towards Iida.

"Todoroki's going in for the win already!"

Iida evaded with a standing long jump, now being in front of Todoroki in mid-air as the flames from his engines turned blue, activating his Recipro Burst.

Iida delivered a roundhouse kick, that was quickly evaded by Todoroki before landing on the ground and immediately jumping before delivering a downwards kick on Todoroki's head, knocking him down.

"Look at that speed!"

Izuku gasped on seeing that last kick from Iida and made mental notes on it. 'That kick was impressive and required a solid technique to it. The kick I used against Todoroki was weak, considering I was using Full Cowling and he recovered quickly. Maybe I should talk to Iida about that sometime and ask him about other types of kicks as well. Diversifying my move set could prove extremely useful in the future. Sticking only to only punches will only limit my potential…'

Kyouka gave a wide smile and pumped her fist up in the air. "Hell yes! Kick him again, Iida!"

Todoroki began to freeze the ground, but before he could have the chance to freeze it more, Iida grabbed his jacket and immediately began to run towards the edge of the arena.

Kyouka crossed her fingers as she watched closely. 'Well, I was hoping for another kick, but this works too. Throw his ass out, Iida.'

Unfortunately for Kyouka and Iida, Iida stopped running before Todoroki grabbed his arm, starting to freeze Iida's entire body up to his neck.

"What happened? How did Todoroki manage to stop Iida while he was using his Recipro Burst?" Izuku asked, wondering if Todoroki used his ice to stop it somehow.

Todoroki stood back up as Iida's frozen body couldn't move an inch anymore as it just shivered.

Midnight pointed her whip at Todoroki. "Iida has been immobilized! Todoroki advances!"

"Todoroki moves on to the finals without even using his flames again!"

Kyouka sighed in frustration, facepalming. "Damn, he was so close too…"

"Poor Iida." Izuku mumbled to himself.

"Looks like I'm up." Kyouka said before taking in a deep breath and letting it out. "I can do this, right?"

Izuku looked at his best friend and nodded. "Of course you can. You know you have my full support, Kyouka. But please, try to be careful."

Kyouka smiled and licked her lips for a split second, wanting to kiss her hero's cheek again, before telling herself that now wasn't the right time for that. "I will. But you're being a little hypocritical, you know."

Izuku rubbed the back of his neck, looking to the side. "I-I know… But with how ruthless Kacchan was towards Uraraka and Kirishima, I have this bad feeling in my gut and I don't want to see you ge-"

Izuku stopped himself as he saw Kyouka holding out her All Might keychain. "It's not fair that we do this only for your match, right?"

Izuku swallowed as he looked at her before shaking his head, pulling out his purple guitar keychain. "No, it isn't fair."

The two friends tapped their respective keychains against each other, both of them looking into each other's eyes.

Kyouka then put away her keychain and started to leave the bleachers. "I'll be seeing you soon, Izuku. Save me a seat, okay?"

Izuku tightened his grip on his keychain before smiling, watching his best friend leave. "I definitely will."

Kyouka was now walking through the corridor as she closed her eyes. 'Bakugo… He's done so much to Izuku in the past and the things I wish I could do to him aren't even allowed in the festival or legal for that matter… But, if I can somehow beat him, then Todoroki will be my opponent. Maybe I can get myself some revenge on two people today. But I know that no matter the results, it still won't make up for what they both did to Izuku. This won't even be close to getting even with them. Especially Bakugo…'

A/N

And chapter 43 is done! Man, I gotta get to read more fanfiction. It's been months since I've picked up a new story and I'm only currently catching up with one. I miss back in high school when I would constantly find new stories.

Hope no one got too mad at Kyouka hating Todoroki. She has a very obvious bias, but she will learn over time. I think.

I know the Kyouka and Mina fight was short, but mostly because I didn't think the fight was that important and was mainly an obstacle for Kyouka.

I was going to make the talk between Kyouka and Momo a lot more serious when they were talking about Kyouka's love for Izuku, but I realized that I have more opportunities for that in the future. Don't want to use up all my serious material now. Too early for that.

I know I've already talked about this early in my story, but once again I've been thinking if I should keep or remove the review section of my author's notes. I personally don't mind doing it, but I want to know if you guys would rather have me keep it or not. Of course, I want to do whatever makes the reading experience best for you guys. Maybe I could make a poll for it, but I'm not sure. Please give your feedback.

Ironically now it's time for the reviews!

DiRunner: I'm happy to see that you enjoyed the fight. I was really worried about writing it.

KingAllen: Let's not get into details, but possibly.

Ability King KK: It will take a while, but it's going to be a whole lot easier than making Kyouka and Bakugo tolerate each other in the future.

Hirude6012: I'll definitely be doing the first movie. However, I'm unsure if I'm doing the 2nd or 3rd one.

Z: Oh god no. I wish I could lol.

Cyber-RK18: Hope I didn't disappoint much.

papaprep: Honestly, same here.

Rando Anon: It is what it is.

Lockheart25: Thank you, but maybe one day Izuku will have a little rematch against Todoroki.

redmen6blight: Well, it will take time for Bakugo to be properly humbled, but never say never.

the only 95: Siempre tendrá a Kyouka para consolarlo. Y no se preocupe, no planeo tomarme tanto tiempo.

TheCrampReturns: And I'm excited for the next anniversary.

Mega Ultra Chicken156: I haven't played it, but I did buy it. First I want to beat Persona 5 royal during the summer and then I'll play it.

Chuck B. Winanaki: I mean, honestly I was kind of working with whatever popped in my head during that fight. But I am a little proud of that hand to hand fight I included. I kind of have fun with making Kyouka a little crazy, but I think I'll acknowledge it with Izuku one day.

bk201fan: Unfortunately it kind of goes downhill from there if you ask me hehe.

Kid74c: I will and thanks for the support!

GrainOfSand: Not a bad suggestion, but I'm not too keen on including the word Shamrock. Sorry.

TheGreatBubbaJ: Hope you're enjoying the story so far.

Well, that's it for the reviews!

That's the end of this chapter! Please feel free to leave a review!
