Rumi frowned slightly as she glanced over at Izuku. Earlier that morning she had woken up to find her boyfriend working on paperwork by himself. She had tried to entice Izuku back to bed, but the green-haired man had politely declined while saying something about overdue paperwork.

Currently, Izuku was driving Rumi and Uraraka to a nearby convention center. Cassandra was doing a meet and greet, and had asked if Rumi and Izuku could provide some extra security. It was clear that the American singer was still worried that her mentally unstable brother might show up, and honestly Rumi did not blame her.

Rumi's gut was telling her something was bothering her boyfriend, but no matter how much she had asked he had refused to tell her. Izuku's unwillingness to discuss the problem had practically confirmed that something was wrong, and Rumi was determined to figure out what it was and then fix it. Rumi had hoped that Izuku had gotten over his bad habit of hiding his problems, but it seemed that the man still had some demons left inside him.

Suddenly, Uraraka's inquisitive voice broke Rumi out of her brooding.

"So, where are we going?" The teenager asked curiously. "You guys didn't say much, and I was just wondering if I needed to be prepared for anything unexpected."

Izuku was quick to answer. "We are going to provide some extra security for a VIP. They have been targeted by the PLF in the past, and any event with large crowds always warrants some extra security. Just follow my lead when we get there, this will be a good learning opportunity."

Uraraka nodded and returned to staring out the car window at the passing scenery, seemingly satisfied with Izuku's answer.

A few minutes later, Izuku pulled the car up to the rear entrance of a massive convention center. A standard security checkpoint guarded the entrance, and Izuku immediately pulled the car to a stop and rolled down his window.

A stocky security guard with reptile-like scales on his arms stuck his head out the checkpoint window and inspected Izuku's sedan.

"Visitor parking is out front." The security guard grunted. "Back here is for employees only."

Holding out his ID card, Izuku leaned back so the guard could clearly see Rumi. "I know, we are here to provide some extra security for Thelxie."

The guard's eyebrows lifted in surprise and quickly changed his tone to something more respectful. "Sorry about that boss, just doin my job." The guard then pushed a button on his desk which raised the thick security gate blocking the entrance. "Head on in and park anywhere ya like. I will let them know yall are coming."

Nodding his thanks, Izuku steered his car through the gate and into a crowded employee parking lot. Finding a parking spot, Izuku pulled the car to a stop and turned to look at Rumi.

"Miruko, please don't start any fights." The handsome agent said pointedly. "We don't need to cause a commotion. Just keep an eye out for anything suspicious."

Rumi rolled her eyes as she heard Uraraka giggle softly. "Yeah sure, whatever you say Midoriya. You make it sound like I am gonna punch the first person I come across."

As everyone got out of the car, Izuku simply stayed quiet and gestured for his two partners to follow him inside.

Passing through another security checkpoint, Rumi followed Izuku through several service hallways until they walked out into the main convention hall. A massive crowd stretched out in front of them, people milling about as they visited vendors and different stalls. A long line seemed to be the center of attention, hundreds of people standing patiently as security guards maintained order.

"Well I guess we just follow the line." Rumi said with slight amusement. "Never really saw the point of doing stuff like this, seems like a big waste of time to me."

Izuku shrugged as he guided his teammates towards the long snaking line. "Well clearly there are plenty of people who would disagree with you."

"Umm...Agent Midoriya?" Uraraka said quietly as she looked around at the crowds. "Did you say Thelxie earlier?"

Showing his ID to one of the guards, Izuku nodded. "Yup. Why?"

Rumi glanced back at Uraraka who seemed to suddenly be very conscious of her hero outfit.

"W-well...my friend was talking about her and how amazing she is." Uraraka explained. "I don't really follow the music scene like she does, but is it okay for an intern like me to be skipping the line with you guys?"

Rumi could not help but snort in amusement as the three of them continued to walk. "Uravity you need to have a little more confidence. You are training to be a fucking pro-hero, stop acting like a wimp and forget about being like a regular person. Being a pro means you get some nice perks. Don't sweat the small stuff and just focus on the job."

Izuku nodded in agreement. "She is right, Uravity. Right now you should be focusing on doing your job."

As they continued to walk, Izuku explained the intricacies of protective work to Uraraka.

Eventually, they reached the front of the line.

Sitting behind a table full of merchandise, Cassandra wore a bright smile on her face as she interacted with her fans. Beside her, Miyu stood like a protective guardian. The shark-toothed woman's eyes constantly surveying her surroundings with practiced skill. Cassandra was wearing designer clothes that perfectly complimented her blue skin and red hair, while Miyu wore the standard black government suit. Spread out around the table, muscular security guards kept the line of fans moving while also preventing photographers and paparazzi from getting too close.

Spotting Izuku and Rumi, Cassandra stood up and said a few quick words to one of the security guards before disappearing through a nearby door. Immediately, the security guard announced that Thelxie would be taking a short break and would return in a few minutes.

Following Izuku, Rumi walked through the door and entered into a temporary waiting area full of food and drinks. A bottle of water in hand, Cassandra smiled happily and gave Izuku then Rumi a big hug.

"Thanks for coming guys." The American singer said cheerfully. "I feel so much better with you here. It's been a busy day and there have already been a few crazies that tried to get a one-on-one interview with me."

It was clear that Cassandra was speaking in code about Oscar, to which Izuku nodded understandingly.

"Miruko and I will always have time for you Cassandra." He said honestly. "That's what friends are for."

Rumi smiled as Miyu walked over, and gave the muscular woman a friendly fist bump.

"She keeping you on your toes Miyu?" Rumi said lightheartedly.

Miyu nodded as she took a bite from an apple. "For sure, I nearly shot a crazy groupie that tried to make a run for Cassandra." She then opened her suit jacket to reveal a shortened combat shotgun discreetly holstered to her side. "I was going to have a rifle on hand, but Cassandra's manager nearly blew a gasket and told me to keep my guns hidden."

Cassandra then spotted Uraraka, who was standing in the back with her mouth hanging open in shock.

"And who is this little cutie?" Cassandra asked curiously.

Rolling her eyes, Rumi reached back and grabbed Uraraka's arm. Pulling the intern forward so she was standing next to Izuku, Rumi sighed in exasperation.

"This is Uravity, my intern." Rumi explained. "A bit of a wallflower, but we are working on that."

Clearly starstruck, Uraraka gave Cassandra a deep bow. "Nice to meet you Miss Thelxie. I have heard a lot about you from one of my classmates."

Laughing lightly, Cassandra stepped forward and gave Uraraka a tight hug, making the teen squeak in surprise.

"Oh my god you are adorable!" Cassandra exclaimed. "Izuku you never told me about this! Why were you hiding her from me?"

Rumi watched as Izuku chuckled and shrugged.

"She is a recent addition." Izuku explained. "We picked her up not too long ago. She might not seem like it, but she can handle herself quite well in a fight."

Rumi then glanced over at Miyu, who was clearly pouting over the attention Uraraka was receiving from her girlfriend.

"I love your outfit!" Cassandra said to Uraraka. "Did you design it yourself?"

Clearly still star-struck, Uraraka shrugged nervously. "S-sort of. It's nothing special, you have probably seen better stuff in the past." Then the teenage girl's curiosity seemed to get the best of her. "How do Agent Midoriya and Miruko know you? Sorry, I was just really surprised to see you all talk to each other so casually."

Cassandra laughed softly and patted Izuku on the shoulder. "Well I met Midoriya first. It is a long story, but through him I met Miruko, as well as my dashing bodyguard."

Rumi gave Uraraka a deadpan look. "Look kid, trying to figure Midoriya out is practically impossible. I gave up being surprised awhile ago, just go with the flow and try to keep up with him."

Nodding in understanding, Uraraka looked at Izuku like she had just discovered the next All-Might.

"Lets see how Izuku handles the hero treatment." Rumi mused silently. "I really need to get him used to being in the spotlight."

Clearly noticing Uraraka's new view of him, Izuku held up his hands placatingly as he tried to explain himself.

"Uraraka, they all are exaggerating quite a bit." Izuku said awkwardly. "I am just a normal guy, not some sort of undercover hero in disguise."

Obviously wanting in on the fun, Cassandra scoffed at Izuku's statement loudly. "You say that, but you are the one who saved me from a shapeshifting assassin. Not to mention the fact you are the only person who managed to beat Miruko in a one-on-one fight."

Surprisingly, Miyu contributed to the conversation as well. "Midoriya also holds several titles as a marksman, cryptologist, paratrooper, and demolitions expert. He is the only person I have ever met who could place first in the inter-departmental sparring competition while also completing the written exam with a perfect score."

Rumi suppressed a giggle as Izuku gave them all an exasperated look. Meanwhile, Uraraka seemed to be committing every word to memory as she vigorously nodded in agreement.

"I knew it! Agent Midoriya is definitely different from everyone else!" The brown-haired teen exclaimed excitedly. "My friends and I had talked about it, but everyone seemed to be convinced that Agent Midoriya was just a hard worker."

Speaking through gritted teeth, Izuku gave the three women a stern look. "We can talk about this later. Cassandra, where do you want us?"

Miyu quickly answered instead of Cassandra. "Rumi should stay up front with Cassandra. Seeing her with Cassandra will look good for the press. Midoriya and Uravity should patrol the perimeter and keep an eye out for anything suspicious."

Izuku nodded in agreement. "Sounds good to me. Anything else on the schedule I should be aware of?"

Cassandra shrugged. "Well this event is going to end in around an hour, then I have to go get ready for my show tonight." The American singer then perked up like she just had a good idea. "You all should come to the show tonight! Midoriya can bring his girlfriend and Uravity can bring some of her classmates!"

Rumi immediately gave Izuku a quick pleading look, to which the green-haired man smiled and shrugged.

"I am sure my girlfriend would love to go." Izuku said with a grin. "Uravity, you in?"

Her mouth agape in shock, Uraraka pointed to herself in disbelief. "M-me? With my friends?! Is that really okay?! I d-dont want to impose or anything…"

Rumi gently punched Uraraka's arm. "Kid, we were just talking about the perks of being a pro-hero. You just made a new friend, it would be rude to turn down her offer simply because you are too shy."

Uraraka took a calming breath before giving a deep bow to Cassandra. "Thank you very much Miss Thelxie. My friends would love to see your show."

Cassandra laughed merrily. "Uravity, just call me Cassandra. Thelxie is my stage name. Like Miruko said, we are friends now. Let yourself have some fun and enjoy your youth. It will be gone before you know it."

Finishing the last of her water, Cassandra clapped her hands like a teacher instructing a bunch of students. "Alright guys, let's get back to work. After this, we can let our hair down and have some fun tonight."

Rumi nodded in agreement along with everyone else as they prepared to return to the convention area.

"A concert with Izuku." She thought dreamily. "Tonight is going to be a night to remember."
