Leni was seething and gritting her teeth in anger and rage. If there was one thing she absolutely hated, it would be any members of her own family get hurt or pushed around of any kind.
At last, unable to control her anger any longer, she charged at Screaming Eagle, catching him off guard with the fire blazing in her eyes.
Kyle looked rather surprised to see that, and he felt himself being punched in the face and stomach to and fro. Right after he suffered three or four more punches, Eagle managed to keep himself together, and dodged many punches. After he gained his composure, he felt his arm being grabbed by Waterboy's strong arm. "You know, just pushing a random kid is considered assault and battery. Didn't your mother ever tell you that?"
"Pfft, like I care about my mother?" said Screaming eagle before he was being punched in the face dozens of times by Waterboy. Before the water hero could deliver his most powerful punch, Kyle managed to take a breath and wail at him, making the water hero tumble on the floor, making him land on his feet, and seething in rage. "Ooh, you mad?" said Eagle.
"No one hurts my brother!" Leni shouted while using her hands to control some decoration plants in the building, and tried using them as whips like an octopus would use to catch or swipe it's prey. Waterboy himself managed to try and use water whips from his hands to try and knock him out in midair. Alas, this villain was faster than the others had anticipated. For a new villain, he was much of a fast learner.
Screaming Eagle managed to hover and dodge many vines and water waves with his metallic wings. "you're feisty." he said to Leni with a smug smile. To his attention at Waterboy, he gave a look of annoyance. "And you, are just a pain in the neck. I've heard about you being a water superhero. Waterboy, right?"
"Yeah, that's my name, runt." said Frankie, looking mad at him.
"Well, you should date me, sweetheart." Kyle looked at Leni again before purring like a cat
Leni just growled and said: "are you being fresh with me?"
"maybe I am. little hard to tell for you, beautiful?" Kyle taunted her.
If there was one thing Leni didn't like, it was a boy being fresh. While Screaming Eagle looked a little handsome (even if he was wearing a bird-like mask) he was obviously coming on too strong, and girls do not like it when a boy comes in strong, especially in a creepy way. Waterboy knew that it was no way to treat a girl, and Screaming Eagle obviously had no respect towards a girl.
"I already have a boyfriend."
She saw Kyle take in a deep breath, getting ready to emit another powerful, supersonic scream from his bellow. quickly, Leni used the vines she was controlling as. large shield to she wouldn't get blasted into the wall.
He used his wail and the vines were doing all they could to block the blast. finally, after seven seconds of resisting, the green vines managed to bounce back the sound wave and hit Screaming Eagle, making him fly off-course.
"Nice one, Leni." Waterboy congratulated her. "You're really in the zone."
Leni smiled at her friend. "Thanks Fra- I mean, Waterboy." the blonde girl replied
While it looked very painful for him, Kyle managed to regain his composure after he was flung a few hundred feet, looking angry. He used his wings to flap himself towards Leni and held her in a tango-like fashion. "you know how to fight, I'll give you that, Leni." he said.
"Well you know how go annoy me." Leni said. "no one pushes my brother like that!"
"come on, just give me a kiss."
"For the last time; no! i already have a boyfriend, and you're too fresh. how dare you treat a lady this way! My boyfriend is a really sweet guy, someone like you can never be."
"Oh? I can be a better boyfriend, whoever this guy is."
"Look, you better just..." Leni suddenly thought of an idea. she never thought she would actually do this, but this new bird supervillain is starting to drive her nutty. "Ok. you want a kiss, as you wish."
she suddenly got on him and pressed her lips on his, catching him off-guard. at first, he started to enjoy it, but he felt his vision go blurry and he fell to the ground, unconscious.
Turns out, Leni gave him her poisonous kiss to put him out of commission. While Kyle was finally down for the count, Leni began gagging and wiping her tongue out from the kiss. it wasn't that bad of breath, but it smelled like beef and cheese a little bit. Waterboy looked a little off-guard as well, but remembered about Leni's poisonous kiss and how she would use it.
"Ew! Ew! Ew! Ew! Ew!" Leni exclaimed with disgust. "I am never kissing that guy again!"
"OK, Leni. easy." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, it was just one kiss." Waterboy added. "There was probably no option left to beat this guy. Though, maybe I could have finished him off myself, but that kiss caught me by surprise."
"Sorry. i can't believe i just did that." Leni said
"I think you had to knock him out like that, Leni." Lincoln said. "He probably would never back down if not for that.
"Well, the police can handle this. I just need to scrape all of this off my mouth when we get home."
"Yeah... good idea." said Lincoln. "Come on, let's get out of here. The police can handle the rest." As soon as they went back, Frankie washed his handsome face in the sink while Leni was washing her mouth with a sink sponge and some hot water from a bowl, rapidly scrubbing her mouth with it many times. She wanted to be absolutely sure she scrubbed all of the Screaming Eagle out of her head.
Lincoln looked a little weirded out and confused and went up to her as Leni continued to scrub her tongue and mouth. "OK, Leni." he said, "I think you scrubbed all of the Screaming Eagle out of your mouth."
To be on the safe side, Leni gave her mouth one more rapid scrub with hot water, and put the kitchen sponge back. "I totally hope so." she then gave a feeling of disgust down her spine. "I don't think I'll ever forget about that kiss."
"I think that's the least of your problems, Leni." Lincoln pointed. "The biggest one is there is another supervillain out there causing trouble. He might be in jail now, but he might break out with his supersonic screaming."
"Lincoln, you're right." said Frankie. "I've seen it all the time in the comic books. The bad guys always get out somehow. Whether they use powers or not. That, or they disguise themselves as prisons guards to blend in and wait for the perfect moment to get out of there."
"Are you ok, Lincoln?" Leni asked. "I mean when Eagle pushed you like that, did it hurt?"
"No. It was just a push." Lincoln replied. "Nothing too bad or too serious."
Leni smiled and hugged him tightly. "Good. But I hope I didn't kill him."
"Nah, the doctor said that kiss put him in a coma-like state." Lincoln remarked. "He'll wake up in a few hours, in his jail cell."
"Serves him right." Waterboy said. "That kid sounds like a real criminal. I would like to know more about him though. Who was that kid anyway?"
"Good question, Frankie." said Lincoln. "We can find out about him from the police if they interrogate him. That's what they mostly do with people booked for committing a crime like that."
"True. So true."
