Duncan Calls in a Favor.
At Kevin's house. Kevin walks into the garage and gets into the Ford Gran Torino and drives to Miami.
At Duncan's shop. Kevin pulls the car into the back lot and into to a spot where Duncan is standing smoking a cigarette. "So what's this favor you need?" Kevin says engine still running. Duncan snuffs his cigarette out and gets in the passenger side of the car. "So there's guy in Tampa Kevin looks at Duncan as he backs the car and says while laughing "Tampa, you couldn't find a guy closer to wack. So what's the story?" Duncan says "He's an arms dealer who is looking to steal my supplier." "So we plug the leak and everything flows freely." Kevin says.
The men drive a while Kevin says "So who's buying from him?" "Not sure. Russians maybe?" Duncan replies. "You think he got backup?" "Nah, he's a young buck." Kevin hits the gas causing Duncan to sink in the passenger seat.
The car pulls up to a residential street and see a red Porsche 911 targa sitting in the driveway with a blonde man standing in the door way of the house. A green Ford Econoline van pulls into driveway. Three men get out. "We're going down the block." Kevin says as he pulls away from the vantage point.
Twenty minutes late the van pass the Gran Torino. Kevin pulls up to the house and parks directly behind the Porsche. The blonde haired man gets out of the car and stomps up to the passenger side door and yells "What the fuck do you think you're doing." Duncan opens the door with enough force to knock the man on to the ground. Duncan gets out of the car and stares at the man. Kevin gets out of the car, walks over to the man on the ground. He reaches into his waist band and pulls out a beretta cheetah and shoots the man twice. Kevin walks up to the Porsche and says "I'm taking this." Duncan gets in the Gran Torino and pulls away.
On the highway. I always wanted a Porsche. Let me see what this can do. Kevin grabs the mirror and sees the GranTorino and hits the gas. He gains a good amount of distance and pulls to the shoulder. He watches Duncan passes him. Kevin speeds up to him and stops along side of him at a stoplight. "I'm taking this to Sunshine Autos. The men pull into Sunshine autos. Kevin gets out of the Porsche and walks into the dealership. He stands in the doorway of Mako's office. She keeps typing until Kevin knocks on the wall. "What can I do for you?" Mako says as she looks up from the computer. "The Porsche out here." He says as he points. "Here's the key" he drops it on the desk. "You'll need to 'fix' the title." "Okay, we'll have that fixed for you." Kevin walks back outside and gets into the Grandtorino. Duncan looks over at Kevin from the passenger side and says "What is it about this car?" "I like it and it's a nice car." Kevin responds. "No there's more to it than that." Kevin pulls out of sunshine autos and guns it. "That's another reason." Duncan waits for Kevin to slow down "I'll stop prodding." "The real reason I love this car. A friend of mine locked me in his office, walked into a situation to get a woman convicted. He committed sucide, shoot by these punks. This got me out of trouble. He left me a tow truck which I sold to RYO and this car." Duncan sits in silence. "Anything else I can clear up for you." "No, sorry man." Duncan says with his voice breaking. "Don't be man. Not to many people know the story behind this car.
The car pulls onto the highway heading towards Miami. A green Jeep Grand Cherokee follows Kevin. The Jeep follows them all the way to Duncan's shop. Kevin pulls into the yard as the Jeep stops at the store entrance. Kevin and Duncan walk into the garage towards the store. Kevin slides his arm towards across Duncan's torso and says "Wait up man, that guys stocking us." Duncan says "I don't recognize him." "Get in the truck. I'll follow you out." "You think shits going to go down?" Duncan says as he pulls up his shirt to show a Glock. "Look at you having a gun." "I got to stay prepared. We were going to deal with an arms dealer." Duncan walks up to his truck one hand on the handle of the truck one hand on the gun. He gets into the truck and drives off. Kevin walks out of the shop and starts the Gran Torino. He puts the gun on the dashboard. As he pulls out of the yard the Jeep follows Kevin. They pull up to a stop light. Duncan pulls the truck behind the Jeep and throws the gun on the dashboard. The light turns green and Kevin pulls off, the Jeep behind him pulls a u turn. Kevin and Duncan pull up to another traffic light. Kevin rolls down the passenger side window. "What did you do?" Kevin yells "I fuse he saw it on the dash." Duncan say. "I was going to take Ava out to dinner. You thing Gwen wants to join?" "I'll see if she's up to it." Duncan says, he rolls his window up and pulls out his phone. The men move through the street. Duncan passes Kevin throwing a thumbs up. He texts Duncan saying "I'm going to take Ava to Andreas." "See you there." Duncan responds.
Kevin pulls into the garage to see Ava dressed up. She gets in the car. They head towards ocean beach. Kevin says "you know why I love this car?" "A friend of yours g ave it to you after they had passed away. Why, you forgot that you told me?" "No." Kevin says "Duncan was asking me about it." Ava looks at Kevin and says "I know about Ava, first of all I wouldn't rat and second I'm not saying anything to anyone. Can I ask you something?" "Yeah, sure." Kevin responds. "What happened to Alayjhondro?" "I honestly don't know. Last I saw of him he bought a Lincoln and was acting strange. My guess, he was running from some one, lost control of his boat and drove off of a bridge and landed in the ocean." "So who do you think did it?" "To manny to list but my first guess the Italians." Ava says "He was an arrogant prick who thought he was the smartest person in the room. I'm surprised none of you busted his jaw." "Given the chance I know Mike would have." "Do you know how Javier is doing?" "I haven't spoken to him. He hung in the background." They pull up to the restaurant . Ava see Duncan's truck and says "Gwen and Duncan are joining us?" "Yes they are. I wanted to thank them for the help in Jersey."
Kevin parks the car at a meter and they walk in to the restaurant. A hostess greets them. The table says "Table for two?" "Actually I'm looking for a man with a green Mohawk.." Kevin says. The hostess says "Follow me." They follow the hostess to a table where Gwen and Duncan are sitting. "How are you feeling Gwen." Kevin says as he sits down. "Get this baby out of me!" The whole table laughs. "I'm good in all seriousness, but I want little Gabriella out here." Gwen says. "I love that name." Ava says. "Thanks it was my Grandma's." Gwen and Duncan kiss. Ava grabs Kevin's leg and leans in for a kiss. They both kiss.
After finishing their meal, the group leaves. Kevin looks in the rear view mirror and sees the green Jeep. He drives home as the Jeep pulls off.
