42.- Epilogue II: Amelia Croft

A mausoleum in Manor Croft is having a minor revamp. The statue of the 1999 MIA Lara Croft is a bit outdated, as she's back home. Lady Amelia Croft supervises the work. "Mom!" Lara says when coming back. "Visiting the mausoleum?" "No, honey, I'm changing the plaque," she says. So they walk together to read the plaque. It simply states: Lara Croft, Tomb Raider.

"Thanks, mom," Lara says. "You know, you already had your fair share of adventures," Amelia says. "Perhaps it's time you settled for a while, and even consider getting married and having children. I'd love to be a grandma." Lara looks at the mausoleum and what it means to the family. "I won't say yes yet," Lara says. "But I'll consider it. Can you find me a suitable groom?"

"The Conjunction of Light" ends. In the next chapter, "The Lost Dominion" starts.
