Chapter 43 Shopping part 2, Dan and Jacob's shopping, Harry learns
9th January 1998, Oxford Street, London, England
They passed the Alley they apparated in. Hermione keeps walking with determination followed by everyone else. Finally near the end of Oxford street what is very close to the Leaky Cauldron she stops and walks into a store. It is another clothing store while not very expensive it still has good quality and nice clothes.
It takes almost one hour before all the girls got the clothing they like and even Hestia is persuaded to buy anything she wants, but she doesn't buy much.
When Hermione sees everybody is done she immediately go next door to the book store. Remus talks to her.
Hermione asks "you mentioned two books, Remus. What kind of books do you mean?"
Remus says "James, Lily and Sirius wanted to learn Harry muggle martial arts and hand-to-hand combat so if you lose your wand and in James and Sirius case their knives or swords you won't be defenceless. Also as most pureblood only use their wand they would be defenceless without a wand and you would be at an advantage if both lost their wand. I know Harry is strong and maybe can even call his wand to his hand but it is always a good idea to have back up."
"I know a bit of martial arts and hand-to-hand combat to help him although I think your father may be able to teach Harry more and I can help with the magical side of that to retrieve something that will give you the edge. However, I think you have an advantage anyway especially against Death Eaters, but Death Eaters like Greyback you need everything you can get. Lily learned it in her youth and she taught us what she knew. She was very good as did until the start of her fifth year. During the first four years, she did it a lot during the summer."
"It is a shame that neither James nor Sirius had the discipline needed for the different kind of fighting she knew well Sirius never did James had the last year around 6 months before Harry was born but as Lily was pregnant she couldn't teach then. I don't remember which ones but she knew a couple. I wished I had time to learn it but with trying to keep the werewolves from fighting, my enhanced power that could hurt practice partners and the many movements to stay ahead of Tom I didn't have much time to learn it."
Hermione nods before she says "I know a few books that are here that could help. What is the other book?"
Remus smiles and says "I knew you know what to get. The other book I meanwhile I don't mean a special title is about strategic and tactical that we can use although I need to ask Dora and Kingsley to look which one can work and if she knows if any proven to be against Death Eater the last few years. Kingsley may also look at what worked in the first war and may still be now. But Hermione you need to make sure Harry agree to train the others if they want to fight and I mostly mean the other Hogwarts students. Only if we can train them and they will follow Harry then we can use strategic and tactical Harry needs to learn."
"Personally I think most will prefer to follow Harry instead of me or Kingsley even though Kingsley was a senior Auror and squad leader. We can help them trust Harry if we say we trust him and if want or needed to advise him, but they trust Harry the most not mentioning some may still see him as the chosen one."
Hermione nods and immediately walks away quickly disappearing between the large bookcases while the shop doesn't seem so large on the outside and isn't magical.
It was almost half an hour later Hermione comes back with a pile of books with the most common martial arts books.
Hermione says "I want to buy more but I don't want to let Harry pay too much. I already think we used too much not what is on the card but more than I think we should. Here is also a book with fighting strategy and tactics."
Remus says "all right now we need to find the other girls and we can go home."
Hermione nods and says "I let the others know."
It took less than 5 minutes before all the others are gathered. All of them have some books and after it is paid. They leave the store and walk back to Gee's court. Tolly and Dissey bring them back to the Entrance Hall as they could as Potter's Elves.
9th January 1998, Diagon Alley, London
Jacob, Dan and Tarby pop in near the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron but the archway is the solid wall. Jacob immediately goes under the invisibility cloak which is just in time as he was not a second under the cloak as some eyes shift in their direction. To make Dan a pureblood wizard with the same beliefs as the dark families, Death Eaters and the supporters of Tom Tarby is dressed in a filthy pillowcase and Dan in a dark robe that looks a lot like the Death Eater robes.
Tarby is not happy but Jacob said it is necessary and promise that when they return he can immediately clean himself and dress the nice clothing with the Potter crest but now a pillowcase without crest would be the best.
The eyes that look at Dan and then at Tarby smile. Dan sees it but is instructed by Jacob to not react on that and only talk to others when needed as pretending to be a pureblood wizard and acting like one is a big difference especially for muggles that cannot be taught to fool the Death Eaters and other purebloods in the short time they had to prepare.
It doesn't take long before they reach the Slug & Jiggers Apothecary. Jacob is sure most of the more common potions and potions ingredients will be able to get here. Also, the Slug & Jiggers Apothecary have a good reputation as oppose to some other potion and potion ingredients shops. Jacob will grab Dan's left upper arm if the potion or potion ingredient isn't right if Jacob is completely sure the potion or potion ingredients are wrong.
For all the ingredients Jacob doesn't grab Dan's upper arm on his left although he manages to let Dan know that the quality of the ingredients is not very good by using to grab Dan's right shoulder. Dan uses his hard military voice. The clerk shakes from fear and immediately gives better quality when Dan says that his lord doesn't like to be displeased. The only thing Jacob is sure that will work during this time is Dan looks like a Death Eater with the black cloak although no mask of course with the ministry under Tom's control it isn't needed every time.
They had a lot of the list but the more rare and expensive items are in the Apothecary what is mostly used for the merchant at least before Tom coming back was proven true by the ministry. They walk in and see that there was only one clerk who is already shaken with fear as he sees only a large man in a dark cloak and a poorly treated house-elf what is almost a clear sign from I am a follower of You-Know-Who, don't cross me.
Dan walks forward to the clerk and grabs a list and says what he needs. The clerk nods and immediately walks to the back to find the items Dan said. When the clerk is gone Dan asks "I understand about the potion ingredients but there are some potions on her too where are we going to get them?"
Jacob whispers "Dan I prefer if you keep your voice down. I know a potion store a little further in Diagon Alley closer to Gringotts than we are now. Also, I have a connection with the healer shop a few doors down I think I can get some potions there. Don't forget we also need to go to Potage's Cauldron Shop."
Dan whispers back "yes, I know. I remember from Hermione's first time when Professor McGonagall showed us around. Andromeda says that she needs about a dozen cauldrons of the three normal material. I guess four of each. Of pewter, brass and copper if I remember correctly."
Jacob nods as he whispers "I think that would be best but why not five each to make sure and three collapsible Cauldron as that one is easy to carry although you can't make the more difficult and aggressive potions in that one, healing potion, pain potion and Blood-Replenishing Potion should be able if you know how to brew."
Daniel gives a small nod before he says "I think a collapsible cauldron is not worth it."
He sees the clerk come back with a couple of vials in his hand while a couple of vials and boxes levitate and following him before he uses his wand to put them on the counter so Dan and Jacob under Harry's invisibility cloak can look at the ingredients.
Dan moves his hand at all the vials. When he looks in the box he sees similar ingredients and grabs them. A few vials before the last vial Dan feel Jacob grab his upper arm. Dan hold the vial so he is sure Jacob means this vial. Jacob keeps holding Dan's forearm.
Dan put on his solder face and almost slam the vial back on the desk what will break the vial unless it has an unbreakable charm on the vial.
Dan try to use the angriest voice he never used unless someone under his command screwed up when he was a captain in the SAS what barely happened.
Dan says "do you think I am stupid. This is not what I asked for."
The clerk says "I am sorry my Lord but I assure you that this is what you requested."
Jacob keeps on his forearm so he knows the clerk is lying. Dan says "try again. I would hate to tell my Lord that you didn't give me what I wanted what I get for him."
The clerk shakes from fear but he keeps claiming it is what he asked for. After almost five minutes Dan has enough. He grabs the collar of the clerk and drags him over the counter barely evade knocking over the box and the vials.
Dan holds the clerk close to his face and says "you give me the real ingredients or I have the target for target practice. I wonder how long you last."
The smile on Dan's face would scare Jacob and Tarby and turn their blood to ice if they didn't know him as is clearly shown on the clerks face he thinks the same. The clerk nods and walks to the back. He quickly reappears Jacob realize Dan's arm showing it is what they want.
Dan says "is this the best you have?"
The clerk and says "yes, my lord."
Dan says "fine. Here. You must be happy I am at least pay you half-blood. Next time I won't be so merciful and I am sure my lord would be happy to meet you if you resist again."
Dan pays for everything and Tarby snaps his finger and the ingredients are moved to the manor. They quickly left the shop and walks into the healer shop a few doors down and one of the few that is still open. It is watched by Death Eaters with the idea that hurt people who probably fought against them will go there but as long as no injured wizards or withes enter they do nothing and Dan doesn't look injured.
Most of the Death Eaters think he is a pureblood Lord that when their master Voldemort came from Europe we wouldn't be the only one but there aren't that many that they know of. However, they hardly knew any of them so Dan could be one of them. He went to the healer shop to get potions even though they don't sell potion but a wizard that isn't native to Britain wouldn't know that.
9th January 1998, Healer Shop, Diagon Alley
A witch that is dressed as a mediwitch/ healer is shocked when Dan walks in. Dan says "Tarpy seal the door."
Tarby did and the mediwitch almost faints when she sees the house-elf close the door but also close the blinds. The Death Eaters outside doesn't matter as they could see that the mediwitch is beautiful but didn't dare to intervene as Dan looks dangerous and also they were afraid of their master ordered if he ordered what Dan was doing and they intervened they would be punished. Every one of the watchers had been crucio'd by Tom at one time and didn't want a repeat.
Inside the store, Dan looks around and says when he doesn't see anyone but the mediwitch "if you trust her, Jacob."
Mediwitch thinks the wizard is crazy when not a second later Jacob Greengrass appears. The Mediwitch knows Jacob as she is the only healer of the shop as it is her shop. She had two apprentices but they are both muggleborns so they went into hiding. They are muggleborns as St. Mungo's will never allow muggleborns unless they are married or supported by wealthy and/ powerful families like Lily was.
Jacob smiles and says "sorry for the theatrics but right now the Death Eaters may be looking for me."
Mediwitch takes a deep breath before she says "that is alright Lord Greengrass. I am happy that you are not Death Eaters right now. I know they have been looking at the store for days I think they are waiting for someone or something."
Jacob says "I do have an idea and if they do they can wait a long time. Didn't you have apprentices?"
She nods and says "yes, the two young apprentices I had, both of them are muggleborn and female. I think you know what happens to them if they get captured. I am a pureblood and it is my duty to heal all who ask. I especially heal those who have no money to go to St. Mungo's."
Jacob nods. As this is her store and she has barely an income although she works part-time at St. Mungo's to earn a living he barely charges her for any of the ingredients that she needs for potions. She doesn't get the best ingredients although she got the above-average ingredients most of the time.
The mediwitch asks "what can I help you with Lord Greengrass?"
Jacob smiles and hands her a list with a couple of things scrapped out. It was the list with potion Andi requested as she didn't have the time to brew them like a dozen of contraception potions as it takes a couple of days if not a week to brew. It depends on the environment what can delay or accelerate the potion.
She says "I can help you. Normally I won't give people potions if they can be taken right away but I can understand with the Death Eaters in Diagon Alley you would not bring any young women especially your daughters in into here. May I ask why you need that much?"
Jacob says "let just say my daughters have a lot of friends who are used to the potions and there may be some boys around. You may know that with the war going on some girls and boys may be desperate to continue their line and don't want to wait. I can agree but some of the friends of my youngest daughter are a bit too young to think about getting children even if they want. I just want to make sure that they think about and if needed can give them protection if the chance is that they can't control themselves. We can make it but for a couple of girls, we don't have enough time to brew it our own. I also hope you can give us half a dozen flushing potions."
"If someone acts wrong towards me or other people we trust flushing potions can give us an idea if someone is potion up to act like that."
The mediwitch nods and says "I completely understand Lord Greengrass. I can give you most of it but for some, I can't give you the required amount but I think the Potage's Cauldron Shop sell some of them and I also remember the Pewter Potions shop also sell quite a lot of potion also most on the list. If you still need some there is a stall close to Gringotts it may be expensive as it is nothing more than someone trying to benefit from the war but the potions are good and really work against some of the other stalls that suddenly popped up when You-Know-Who took over the ministry."
"Did you hear that only some Aurors are really newly marked Death Eaters and that most of the former Auror force quit? I heard that only low-level Aurors like John Dawlish among others still work for the ministry. I heard a rumour that John Dawlish try to arrest people who were against You-Know-Who agents in the wizengamot and John Dawlish does everything to improve in the Auror force even if You-Know-Who control it. I heard he tried to arrest Holyhead Harpies Beater and Captain Gwenog Jones as Hestia Jones was a former Auror and her niece and ward Megan Jones didn't show up at Hogwarts like many other female students but also Harry Potter."
"Some say Harry Potter flee England, but I just know he is still in England fighting against You-Know-Who and his Death Eaters. I can tell many don't think but I just know he does. I may not know him but I knew his mother although I didn't talk to her much. I heard he looks a lot like his parents inside and out. His parents would never give up so he would also not and that is not to mention him being a tri-wizard champion at only fourteen years old."
Dan and Jacob only nod. Jacob says "I like to talk, but we don't have much time if we stay too long the Death Eaters outside may get suspicious."
The mediwitch says "oh yes I am sorry Lord Greengrass I will get the potions right away."
A few minutes later she came back with the potions. Jacob says "I am sorry we need this much after the war is over I will make sure I get you the best ingredients for free even if I make a loss on it."
The mediwitch says "thank you, Lord Greengrass."
Jacob smiles and says "Jacob is alright Madam."
The mediwitch says "I am Heather Fawley. you can call me Heather. It is shame you are married though but I am sure Isabel remembers me even though I was a Hufflepuff."
Jacob was a little bit shocked but his Slytherin came out to protect his shocked face. He suddenly says "that is why you remained me of the previous owner, am I right?"
Heather smiles and says "yes that was my mother. I was her only apprentice so I can continue her work what I am more than glad to do as it was her duty to heal people who ask for it and through her so now it is mine. I am happy I can continue her work and I am proud I can. It is a shame she couldn't see the apprentices I took under my wing as she did with me when we were here or in St. Mungo's to be a teacher and not a mother too only at home she was."
Dan says "Miss Fawley I am terribly sorry but we need to go."
Jacob says "you are right Dan. Miss Fawley, please take this as an open invitation after the war is over I think Isabel would love to have you over for dinner, maybe you can meet my daughters and their friends that evening."
Heather says "I will love that. Please say hey to Isabel from me."
Jacob says "will do" before putting on the invisibility cloak while Tarby transports the potions to the hospital wing in the manor. He knows Tolney will keep an eye on them until Andi returns.
9th January 1998, Diagon Alley
The other shops went without a problem. Some were afraid of Dan but they didn't try to scam him, extort him or give him the wrong ingredients.
They walk past the Daily Prophet when Jacob immediately grabs Dan's arm. Dan stops instead on keep walking. He looks why Jacob stop him and see that he is standing in front of the Daily Prophet office and the only stand that sells the days paper. All the other prophet are sent by owls. Dan wonders why Jacob stopped him as they cannot get a subscription even owls can find them what Dan wonders as he heard Hermione tell Emma about them when she asked where Ginny Weasley was.
Dan looks at today paper when he is almost shocked on the front was a picture. He doesn't recognise it but the title got his attention. The title read "Madam Longbottom resist arrest and escape."
He didn't need to read further to know if can only be Frank's mother. He grabs six of them and pays him a galleon. The clerk can keep the change. They got one for him, one for Jacob, one for Frank, one for Remus, one for Kingsley and most importantly got one for Harry. Harry needs to read it as Frank probably wants his mother to be safe and Harry's Ancestral Manor is also according to Hermione Neville is a very good friend if not his best friend beside her although she never said that Harry would go through the fires of hell if it will help Neville. Hermione said that Harry was very mad at himself when he knew Neville fought against the Death Eaters at Hogwarts and he wasn't there to help Neville.
He walks away immediately after paying and walks towards the apparition point. Just a few minutes they reach and a second later when Dan grabs Tarby's hand and Jacob put his invisible hand on Dan and Tarby's closed hands they disappear.
9th January 1998, Entrance Hall, Potter Manor
When they returned Dan says "thank you, Tarby. You can lose those disgusting garbs and put one your uniform what you are more than worthy of."
Jacob just nods agreeable who had put off the invisibility cloak.
Tarby immediately bows and says "thank you, Mister Dan and Mister Jacob."
When Tarby pops out Dan says "well Jacob I don't know about you but I think the shopping went off without a hitch. It seems your crash course and clothing worked to keep the Death Eaters away or at least not rousing much problems and suspicion."
Dan sees the bags with the ingredients but before he can carry them to where they need to be Tolney pops in and pops out with the bags. Dan is still holding the papers and says "Jacob we can better inform Frank and Harry about Madam Longbottom. I think Kingsley and Remus also need to know. I don't know if Bill wants to know but I am sure he can use one of ours paper to read before Harry can make a decision. I don't think the girls need it as they can read Harry's mind and the other can surely borrow one of ours. Well actually borrow one of Harry's as we used his money to buy the Daily Prophet newspapers."
Jacob just nods. Dan may not see it that way but Jacob thinks that they became closer as pureblood and muggle, as friends something that he never thought would happen or was even a chance it would happen even though he doesn't hate muggleborns and muggle. He maybe had a very small dislike but it seems it just depends on the muggle like it is with wizards and witches perfect example his dislike of Malfoy if you put it lightly as he really likes Dan more than some other wizards and witches he doesn't dislike and is even a bit friendly with.
They want to go to the kitchen to get lunch as it is past lunchtime when Harry walks down the stairs and says "Dan, Jacob I am happy to see you are unharmed and save. I take it you got want Andi wants."
Jacob says "yes we did Harry. However, what Ragnok said is true Death Eaters are in big numbers in Diagon Alley. It looked like they are on the lookout maybe for Order of the Phoenix members or you if word came out you have been seen there. Maybe they try to find Kingsley's body or know Kingsley can survive and try to take him out thinking he is still injured. There are many reasons but those or one of the most probability although I noticed that there was quite few that look at Gringotts that is a lot less busy than the last time Isabel and I were there as you obviously know."
9th January 1998, kitchen, Potter Manor
Harry says "why don't we eat and relax before we think why the Death Eaters were big in numbers in Diagon Alley and if Tom is stupid enough to do something to the Goblins. I may need to warn Ragnok and Bonecrusher if we suspect Tom is planning something to the Goblin Nation."
Dan and Jacob talk during lunch that Harry needs to know something but asks if he can wait until the others have returned. Harry accepts. Frank and Antione came in. They took a seat on their normal seat. They are the only ones with Harry, Hagrid, Dora and everyone in the hospital wing.
Harry asks "Wissy did the others got safely to where they want to go?'
Wissy nods and says while making lunch "yes Master Harry. Lady Hermione did go there first before she called for Wissy, Dissey and Tolly to bring the other."
Harry says "that is great. Thank you Wissy."
Wissy only bows quickly as she is still making a warm lunch. Dora comes in a takes her normal seat. She is hungry although when Wissy asks what she wants Dora groans some of the weirdest combinations you have ever seen. Nobody notices when Wissy turns to make what Dora requested a large smile appear on her face. Wissy remembers the weird combinations Dorea and Lily had when they were pregnant with James and Harry respectfully although both were in the other manor near Crawley as that was the main manor. This manor was kept in good condition by the elves but didn't live here until James and Lily left for Godric's hallow and their untimely deaths especially as the other manor got destroyed by an attack from Tom and his Death Eaters.
During the lunch Harry, Antoine, Frank and Dan talk about what they saw in Diagon Alley beside the many Death Eaters. Dan gives Harry the bag with Galleons as they didn't use it all while they got everything that Andi asked for even a bit more from everything that she requested.
After lunch Wissy had made food for Hagrid, Grawp. Fluffy and Fang she gives to them while Harry and the others were eating. Tarpy made sure the hippogriffs have more than enough food he bought with Harry's acceptance to keep the Hippogriff's fed.
Harry went back to his office as it was the only place he can keep himself under control about last night. Dan and Jacob follow Frank to the library where Frank has been looking through spells, charms and everything else he had learned before his incapacitation as he still wants to become of hit-wizard capabilities although Fudge disbanded the department when he came in power in 1990.
Besides Frank and the only other one that can become it with the training is Kingsley although Frank must admit that Harry isn't far behind. The only thing Harry misses is the Auror training and licence. Frank like some others including James had already a full Auror licence while they were still in training in their third year, but as they were also training as hit-wizard meaning they were the best of the best they already had a full Auror licence although Barty Crouch Sr. who was head of the DMLE at the time wasn't happy with it, the Head Auror put his own job on the line to get Frank and James that. Sirius would get it in December that year but he was incarcerated at the beginning of November although Sirius was better than him. Still, Frank would never admit it.
Frank became mad when Dan and Jacob told him about the attempted arrest of his mother. When Frank knew it was John Dawlish that tried to arrest his mother he chuckled. John Dawlish is an Auror but he knew him and he found it a wonder he wasn't killed in the first war and in last year when the ministry fought against Tom.
According to Frank, it was a miracle John became an Auror at all, but think his family uses the limited power they had to get his trainer to let him pass as that wasn't uncommon for pureblood houses to use for their Heir (or Lord) to not shame the house. House Dawlish is pureblood but doesn't have much power so they probably bribed the trainer or someone who had the power to let him become an Auror.
Frank started laughing harder as he imagined how easily his mother would have defeated Dawlish if not 'teaching' him a lesson while she did it not that Dawlish will learn or take any 'advice' from anyone especially as his now probably the Lord of House Dawlish although his house doesn't have a wizengamot seat that they lost generations ago.
Dan and Jacob gave him the newspaper so he can read it. Dan and Jacob hadn't read it yet so there should be more information. She is now actively searching for by the ministry for breaking a false law. There is a second accusation that she is part of a terrorist group trying to overthrow the government. If you are a Tom supporter it may look like that but even though she wants to overthrow the government and get back to the old ways with maybe small change. She doesn't want to overthrow the government to become the minister (dictator) like Tom did although Tom uses one of his Death Eater to control the new minister by using the Imperius curse on the current minister.
Frank wants to find his mother immediately and have a couple of ideas about where she can be. Dan and Jacob agree but stop him from leaving as they remind him that Harry needs to know as it is this still his manor and not Frank's. Frank decides to go to Harry but again Dan and Jacob stop Frank.
Frank asks angrily "why do you stop me again? I want to find my mother!"
Jacob as a fellow pureblood answer "Frank, believe me, we want to find her too, but something has happened last night considering Harry. Until the girls talk to him I think we need to let him be. Also, I think we need to discuss with the others as I think Harry will want to have the other thoughts too, but I think Harry will help you anyway. I just have one question, Frank. Does your mother have a problem with Harry having multiple wives for all his lines although he still needs a couple?"
Frank thinks and says "honestly I don't know. I think my mother doesn't like the law although she will probably understand. I can talk to her about it but that doesn't mean she will like it when she sees it. I think I can prevent her from saying something about it but that is about as much as I can do. Although as it is Harry and House Potter she maybe can accept it more although it may require Harry and Neville is probably best to continue the alliance as I did with James."
Jacob nods as does Dan although Dan doesn't comment as still isn't comfortable with it while Emma is better if not alright with it as it makes Hermione happy with the love of her life and gets the sisters she wants. If Dan only thinks about Hermione in it he can accept it but when he sees the other girls with Harry he starts to doubt again.
It was almost time for dinner when Harry still in his office feels a group enter the grounds without weakening the wards. He also immediately feels Hermione, Katie, Luna, Susan and Astoria are close.
Hermione says in her mind to Harry 'Harry we are back. I think you like your new clothes. They should be in your closet already. Where are you?'
Harry wants to ignore her but it is Hermione, his wife, his best friend and he knew sooner or later he would face the music about what happened.
Harry thinks back 'hey Hermione. I am in the office on the first floor. I was thinking about Tom actions at Hogwarts among others.'
Harry didn't but he decides they didn't need to know. Hermione felt Harry unease but she didn't know if it was what happened to Susan and Astoria or if Harry found a difficult place to go to. Hermione knew they could always do as they even managed to break into the ministry while Tom controls it. They only got away with a small injury of Ron although they did lose Grimmauld Place or at least they thought so. Here they can apparate outside of the wards as they aren't in a busy city like London also there is no Death Eaters just outside the wards.
Harry remains in his office and as expected his wives immediately came to him as Tolly and Dissey almost begged to put away the last things they bought except the books Hermione bought for Harry although she also bought some for herself as did the others, those books were placed in the library.
Harry waits patiently as he knows he needs to face the girls. The whole day he has been gathering courage and now finally he thinks he has enough. The door opens and to his relief, the girls didn't look mad or angry, but he does notice something is wrong with Hermione although she seems physically alright.
Harry already blames himself for keeping his Occlumency shields up as his girls went shopping. He just didn't want to intrude and trusts Remus, Kingsley and Bill to keep them safe. He still makes sure they were fine from time to time but only that nothing more like hearing what they are thinking like that would be like he intrudes and that was also one of the reasons he didn't go although the biggest reason was that he is easy to be recognized but so is Hermione.
While they obviously did something but before he can ask Hermione says "Harry we found someone from the Order."
Harry asks "who? I thought most of the order is in hiding or fled England."
Hermione says "it is Megan's niece Hestia."
Harry asks "Does Dora knows?"
Hermione says honestly "I don't know. Why?"
Harry asks "wasn't Hestia also an Auror in the same year as Dora? And good friends?"
Susan says "I don't know about them being friends but I do know that they were in the same year. I heard my Aunty talk about them with Master Auror Moody in the summer and in Yule of the third year Master Auror Moody came to Bones Manor and I kind of listened in if they knew something about Sirius to warn you, Harry, if I could. However, they only talked about the graduated Aurors and Dora was in the first place and Hestia was somewhere on the top but I don't remember which place exactly."
"It was possible it was also to find the best protection from the Aurors that Sirius didn't know as former Auror. I think Aunty hoped that new Auror would be a better fight than old Aurors as Sirius was really good."
Harry nods and just like the other girls they were happy while Susan was sad about Amelia she wasn't as affected as earlier. It seems Susan's soulbond with Harry and all the friends made her able to be happy again and the grieving period was completed. She finally is looking to the future and just like Harry has the dream to have a large family. The only difference in her dream is that the large family was large as she had many children from Harry while still followed Amelia's career as Auror.
She doesn't know if she first wants a child or children before becoming an Auror or first complete Auror training and a year or two of being a (Junior) Auror before becoming a mother. Ever since the DA, she wonders if she can be an Auror or not and is thinking about becoming a mother first and then maybe become and Healer or field healer as she has a caring character and knows a couple of healing spells she can cast 'almost' perfectly. She still needs to learn more if she wants to become a healer but she knows that Tom is the greater threat right now and with him still around the future will be hell for (pureblood) girls like her or even nonexistence.
Hermione says "what I saw in the order I think they are friends. I don't know good friends but they did share a bedroom when they stayed at Grimmauld Place sometimes."
Harry nods and asks "where is she now?"
Hermione says "I asked Megan to see if there is a bedroom available that she would like."
Harry says "no offence Hermione but there are more than enough bedrooms. I think we could house the whole Gryffindor house and maybe one of two other houses too including all the head of houses."
All the girls nod even Hermione.
Hermione says "now that is alright with you I guess."
Harry nods and hopes Megan is also happy having her niece with her.
Hermione continues "we need to talk Harry, but know you did nothing wrong."
Harry dreaded this but knew it was coming it was also the reason he had been gathering courage. He didn't have the fear anymore they would leave him, but he wants his wives to be happy especially happy with him or at least with the unusual family that is forming.
The group walks towards the desk. He sees that Katie closes the office door. Harry sighs ready to face the music. He grabs his wand and the girls didn't react to that knowing Harry would never hurt them or anything. The girls were right Harry waves his wand and five very comfortable chairs appear.
Harry wonders why Gabby isn't here but he immediately put the thought out of his head as the reason his wives are here is because of what happened last night also Gabby isn't bond with him be it a Veela bond or soul bond. He thinks 'she would probably be here if she was bonded.'
As soon as all the girls took a seat he calls for Tarpy if they want something to drink. All the girls and Harry took a butterbeer and less than 5 minutes later Tarpy return with a tray with six butterbeers. He levitates the butterbeer on the desk, one for each before bowing when the girls thank them as does Harry and pop out.
Harry waits for them to talk. He doesn't look at anyone and tries to evade their eyes without making it look like he tries to evade their eyes.
After what almost looks like an eternity Astoria says "Harry we are not mad at what happened last night. Susan and I are also not mad at you. We are your wives after all."
Harry says "but I shouldn't have done that. I know you are my wives and all but I touched you there while I didn't ask if it was okay."
Susan says "but Harry you were asleep when it happened. It would be weird to ask us while you were asleep. Honestly, I don't mind. I know most guys liked me for my breasts. I never liked them trying to touch them but I don't mind it is you, love."
Harry tries to look at the girls and while Susan and Astoria have small blushes the Ladies Potter have a small smile showing they are not mad.
Harry says "I am happy you are not mad, but I still shouldn't have done it. I don't want to push you girls further than you want. I don't want to force you into something you don't want or go faster in this new relationship than that you want."
The smile on the Ladies Potter grows as Harry shows them his chivalrous and noble side while also being a gentleman. As the smiles grow the love for Harry from all his wives grow even larger if that is possible. Harry still looks nervous.
Susan says "you didn't Harry. We like sleeping with you and if you accidentally touch as we don't mind also as you didn't go further. We don't mind as you didn't push us. As it was beneath my nightdress but not beneath Astoria's you probably knew Astoria wouldn't want that at least not yet."
Harry again says "but it isn't right even if I accidentally did it in my sleep. I think it is better than none of you sleep in my bed for a little while."
All the girls look shocked until the Ladies Potter angrily glares at Susan and Astoria. What shocked everybody is that Luna screams angrily with not a single sound of her normal dreamy voice "tell him Susan ….. or you Astoria. If I can't sleep without Harry anymore ….." at the end only a growl was heard.
Susan is afraid of this Luna. If Susan didn't know better it looks like Luna is a Veela, is about to let her Veela out and attack her. Hermione and Katie while still shocked narrow their eyes in anger at Susan and Astoria again.
Harry stared in silence with his mouth a little bit open at Luna. His sweet innocent Luna, his little moon. Luna is really mad he never seen her like this not even after the ministry or when he told everyone about the unforgivable he used. Not even when she heard someone call her Looney Lovegood. She is not Looney. She is unique and that made her even better in Harry's eyes.
Anyway, he is shocked but also wants to know what Luna means. When nobody says anything Harry says "what does Susan need to tell me, Luna?"
When Luna doesn't say anything he says "come here my little moon."
Luna hears him and went to him but she still looks angry at Susan and Astoria. When Luna is next to Harry he grabs her and move her to his lap and snogs her to make her lose her anger. It took a couple of minutes before Harry stop and Luna has her dreamy smile back and the anger disappeared from her face.
Harry isn't sure if this is a good idea as he just said they can better not sleep with him.
He hears in his mind 'don't forget the others.'
Luna smiles at him when he looks and she jumps from his lap.
Harry asks "Katie?"
Before he can ask she is already next to him and jumps in his lap. They also snog until she put her hands in his hair and start to attack him more than before. After a few minutes, they need air and stop snogging. Before he can ask Katie to get off his lap she already jumped at him. Harry doesn't even need to ask Hermione as Hermione immediately walks to him and take a seat on his lap and they almost immediately start to passionate snog.
It took almost 10 minutes before they stop. Harry knows that Susan and Astoria hope he asks them too but he hopes that this works to make them tell him. He didn't want to but when he calmed Luna down and he must think about the others he didn't have another plan.
Hermione remains in his lap as he looks at Susan and Astoria. Hermione put her head on his chest as he asks "will one of you tell me what Luna means?"
Astoria looks longingly at what the Ladies Potter did before also looking longingly at her hand with still the Black betroth ring, not the Lady Black ring. Susan knows that she needs to tell him and hope he isn't too mad and let them sleep with him again even if she needs to apologize or he wants to punish her for what she did. He has some control over her that was in the contract to protect her, but she is afraid for a moment before she realized this is Harry she is thinking about he would not punish her that would only hurt her.
Astoria hit Susan with her elbow as to say it is your idea you must tell him.
Susan nods at Astoria and says "alright Harry. First I am very sorry if I troubled you, it wasn't my intention. We as your wives were wondering how to show you that you can touch us as far as we allow. I asked Hermione what I was thinking but she was against it. However, when I finally was in your bed I couldn't care what Hermione thought and couldn't control myself."
Harry want to know where this is going although he had a hunch that his hands touching their breast wasn't as accidental as he thought, but can't believe his sweet Susan would do that although she has become much more confident after Amelia's death.
Harry motions her to go on.
Susan nods before she says "I waited until you were asleep and when I was sure you were deep asleep I finally could do what I have dreamed of since our fourth year. I dreamed of it in the third year when I knew about the marriage contract but after Yule, in our fourth year, I knew I really wanted you to do it. I wanted you to touch my breasts. As you wouldn't do it on your own I thought this was the next best thing. I had a very nice dream when you holding my breast. I also moved your hand under my nightdress."
"Astoria moved your hand to her covered breast. I am very sorry Harry. Astoria and I really liked it but we didn't want to trouble you and for that, we are deeply sorry. I hope you can forgive me for being so forward but you are our husband. If we want to have a large family we eventually will see each other naked and I thought if you know you can touch us we can start to be more comfortable around each other and when the time is there to complete the bond we won't be so embarrassed."
Susan stops talking and looks down. Harry feels her sadness. Hermione sees Harry face and knows what is going to happen. She reluctantly gets off his lap. Harry wants to walk to the other side of the desk to console Susan but before he can Hermione put her hand on his shoulder. Although Harry can easily stand up and shake her hand off he doesn't. Katie and Luna went to Susan and pull her up. Within a minute she stands before Harry and squeals when Harry pulls her on his lap a bit forcibly.
Harry hugs her before snogging her. Harry says in his mind to her 'alright Susan I can understand but still I was afraid you will be mad that I did it. Maybe if you told me when we woke up we wouldn't have this problem.'
Susan thinks 'we tried but you wouldn't listen.
Harry thinks 'you did? Then I am sorry. Although, you could have told me before we went to sleep that if it happened you won't be mad. Or even ask me to do it when we went to bed. I know I will probably not do it but if you told me what you told me just now you probably talked me into it. I didn't want to feel you up like I thought I did.'
Susan thinks 'I don't mind as long as you don't feel me up in front of anyone except you wives or the other can't see it.'
He hears Hermione 'Susan stop that. Also, Harry as if you would have done it if she asked. Harry, you are very stubborn and although I am not happy she did it was probably the only way to get you there. Maybe if she said it would make her happy that is the only reason you may do it, but I know why Astoria followed Susan. Astoria is fifteen and I know you have a bit of a problem with that.'
Harry thinks while snogging 'later' before blocking Hermione and focusing on Susan who doesn't want the snogging to stop. Finally, they stop and asks "Susan can you get off my lap?"
Susan wants to shake her head but she knows Astoria also wants this. Astoria almost flew into his lap the second Susan left his lap. Harry and Astoria snog but Harry is gentle with her as her being fifteen is still a bit of an issue although the difference is only two years and she will be sixteen in March.
When they stop Harry calls for Tarpy.
Tarpy pops and asks "what can Tarpy do for Master Harry?"
Harry asks "Tarpy can you please get the box with the crest on this ring out of my bedroom?"
He shows Tarpy one of his rings and Tarpy bows while popping out. Within a minute he returns with the requested box. Harry says "thank you Tarpy you continue with what you are doing."
Tarpy bows and leave again. Astoria was still on his lap with her face buried in his chest as she is happy that Harry understands and forgive them. Harry asks "Astoria can you please get off my lap?"
Astoria reluctantly does so. She immediately doesn't regret it as she sees Harry grab the box, open it and grab one ring that looks a lot like her Black betroth ring. Harry put the box down and look at Astoria.
Harry says "Astoria, I am sorry I waited this long but the last couple of days many things happened. Astoria I want to say many things to show that I know you and love you, however, I cannot but I can say this."
"Astoria while I hoped I knew you better these last few days made it clear that you really love me. The soulbond is the proof but even besides that I can feel your love for me and I can honestly say that I think I love you too. Maybe not to the extent as Hermione, Luna, Ginny or Katie yet but I am just like with Susan I will love you both sooner than later. Therefore Astoria will you please accept the Lady Black ring and officially become my Lady Black for the most ancient and most noble house of Black?"
Astoria got happy tears in her eyes and almost nod as happy and energetic as Dobby still do. Harry grabs her right-hand removes the Black betroth ring and put the Lady Black ring on the same finger. The ring resizes and immediately a light connects the rings of Harry and Astoria until all the rings from the girls and from Harry Lord Potter, Lord Black and Lord Bones ring light up and start to connect them to each other as Harry is Lord of all the houses.
Astoria immediately jumps back on his lap as Harry remained seated and snog him senseless.
Susan and Astoria are now even more profound in the bond. Susan is ecstatic that her ring and Lord Bones ring is now connected to the Potter and Black rings. The bond cannot be broken as long as Harry is Lord of all three houses what all the girls want for as long as it possibly can. Susan now also knows that even when more Ladies Black, Peverell and maybe Lady Gryffindor and Lady Slytherin she will still be in the bond and secretly hopes the others will also enter the bond even if they aren't soul bonded to Harry.
Susan has talked with Luna and with the Hufflepuff's and thinks she knows who for certain get a soul bond with Harry and who will need to work for it or the change is small until the marriage at least.
Luna told her without telling her that some of Neville's girls will get a soulbond if Neville hasn't lost his confidence he had since his sixth year and even got more during the year partially thanks to Harry but also as Neville grew up. Also, his grandmother is proud of what he did in the ministry and finally finds him worthy of the name Longbottom, his own wand although it was needed and according to his grandmother made his parents proud.
Tarpy pops in and immediately apologize when he sees Astoria snog Harry. He tells Harry that the dinner is ready. Harry with a goofy smile barely able to come up for air when Astoria made a sound of displeasure he asks Tarpy to return the box of rings and made the others know that dinner is ready.
After Tarpy pops out Harry gently get Astoria off his lap before he says "girls I think we can better go down for dinner."
Luna blocks Harry's way before he can walk around the desk. Luna looks up with her blue eyes and asks "Harry, my love can we now sleep with you when it is my turn again after what Susan told you and explained herself?"
Harry says "I guess so but if you are afraid I touch you I may be a better idea that you do not."
All the girls say at the exact same time "I don't mind."
Harry sighs and then says "well Luna I guess it is no problem them. I however do request none of you does the same thing Susan and Astoria did. If it happens when I sleep I can't help it but please don't do it on purpose especially when I am asleep."
Luna gives Harry a hug before almost skipping away happily. Harry and the other girls follow her out of the office to the kitchen.
9th January 1998, Kitchen, Potter Manor
When they reach the kitchen only Dora and Remus were already there as were Jacob, Dan and Frank. Apparently, they have been talking about something important as they immediately stop when they notice Harry.
Harry almost immediately went to sit at the head of the table with Hermione on his right and the full embodiment of happiness Astoria on his left. When Daphne came in with Tracey and sees the happy smile of Astoria looking with love and almost adoration at Harry.
Daphne is happy Astoria is happy but she wonders what makes Astoria so happy as does Tracey. Tracey hopes she can have some time with Harry soon and hope Daphne will be there with them. Tracey and Daphne have been friends before even Hogwarts. They have barely any secrets and want to be together when Harry gets to know them. Both Daphne and Tracey both knew that they need to ask Hermione as she is the head-wife/ first-wife of this family although Luna comes very close and if what was said in the school last year Ginny will also be close. Daphne thinks that Luna and Ginny are at the same level as Hermione if not now soon they will be.
Slowly everybody comes in. When everybody has taken a seat except those in the hospital wing. Even Hagrid has taken a seat with Fang beside him lying down. Hedwig and Crookshanks were also in the kitchen. Crookshanks is circling the Kneazles from Mrs. Fig who also has come down. Hermione keeps his eyes on Crookshanks as she notices Crookshanks show interest in especially the young female kneazle.
Hermione says only "no Crookshanks."
Crookshanks stops and starts walking to Fang. Fang barks but Crookshanks just keep walking before pushing his head against Fangs head. Fang barks something. Crookshanks answers before lying down next to Fang.
Hedwig has flown to Harry's shoulder and keeps sitting there. She has let him be more alone but that doesn't mean that she doesn't keep an eye on him or sense his presence to make sure he is alright. During dinner, Harry fed some bacon strips and some owl treats that one of the elves had bought.
9th January 1998, Potter Manor
It was after dinner when Frank says "Lord Potter I have a request."
Harry thinks this must be important to address me like that.
Harry asks "what can I do for you, Lord Longbottom?"
Frank hands Harry the Daily Prophet and Harry immediately notice the title. Frank says "I would advise you to read the article."
Harry nods and starts reading. About five minutes later he puts the newspaper down what is immediately snatched by Hermione. Hermione is only a second faster than Daphne as Hermione sits closer to Harry than Daphne otherwise the Daily Prophet would probably be pulled apart in two pieces.
Jacob expected this and gives his one to Daphne who immediately starts reading with Astoria and Tracey reading from both sides of the same article.
Harry says while Hermione, Daphne, Tracey and Astoria are still reading "Lord Longbottom I guess you want me to allow her access here and if needed find her as I understand her location is unknown."
Frank says "it is more allow her to be here as I have a few ideas where she can be in hiding she is right now."
What the others don't know is that Hermione is talking with Harry about what the other soulbond hear. When Harry asks if they agree to let Madam Longbottom come here all five agree and gets a feeling Ginny would also agree with Harry.
Harry says "Lord Longbottom as I trust you as I do trust Heir Longbottom and that is not to mention the Alliance we have for many, many generations I will allow her access. If you can give me the locations where she could be I…."
Hermione says "no Harry. The elves can look at the location and relocate her here."
Harry wants to argue but he can't win if Hermione mind is made up and when all his other wives and betroth including some other girls agree with Hermione he knows he is beaten. He knows he can't even try and says "Lord Longbottom if you agree and it is possible we can send some of our elves to the location to find her and maybe one or two others can grab clothing and other necessary things from Longbottom Manor."
Frank says "thank you, Lord Potter. I think we may need some sentimental things and maybe the clothes for my mother as Alice and I thanks to your generosity have a wardrobe that is large enough for the moment."
Harry nods and asks "does everyone agree?"
The men look with approval at Harry and nod. Most of the women nod although Narcissa and Bellatrix don't show their decision. Harry doesn't ask as he knows why.
Harry says "alright Lord Longbottom it seems we agree. There is, however, one thing that needs to be addressed before the elves can try to find her. Narcissa and Bellatrix are under my protection from all my houses. While I can understand her being mad I will not let her threaten or attack them. Actually, that is also for any of the others for that matter."
Frank nods and says "I understand Lord Potter. I am still not happy with Bellatrix Le…"
Harry eyes narrow but before he can respond Astoria says angrily "It is Bellatrix Black, Lord Longbottom."
Frank is stunned. Harry smile at Astoria and gives her a wink when he says "Lady Black is right Lord Longbottom. I understand you are still not happy but it wasn't her fault and she could resist it enough to not kill or hurt you more."
Frank looks and says "I am sorry Lord Potter-Black and to you Lady Black and Madam Black."
With the last look, he tries to look apologetic to Bellatrix and a bit friendly, but Bellatrix is afraid and looks very sad.
Alice says "yes, where are both sorry. I think if we can talk to my mother-in-law Madam Longbottom before she can see both Madam's Black we can tell her try to convince her to not be mad."
Harry says "I am sorry Lady Longbottom, but if she cannot let her anger go and is a danger for them then I am sorry but then I cannot allow her access."
Frank says "I can only try my best as Lord Longbottom, but I cannot do more as she is still my mother. Even if I got my Lord ring I don't have, it wouldn't work on her."
Harry nods and starts thinking with the girls what would be the best course of action. Harry hears them but also manage to follow the other questions or comments around the table.
Jacob says "sorry Lord Longbottom but I have a question if you don't mind."
Frank give the motion to ask him.
Jacob says "thank you, Lord Longbottom. It isn't a secret that Madam Longbottom is a strong supporter of traditions and laws however she hates a few laws and traditions that seem disrespectful for witches although she upholds all laws and traditions. I think if Madam Longbottom sees Harry here with multiple wives she will 'fight' against it. I don't who what she will do but I think it will not be good."
Frank know that as it is also the reason he only has Alice as his wife and never searched for a second what James did in the form of Narcissa although Lily didn't want to him too. James loved Lily dearly and could see nobody else as Lady Potter the first the moment he saw her at the Hogwarts Express in their first year. Charlus and Dorea didn't mind as it is for the continuation of House Potter and knew that James would treat them right if he succeeded what he didn't.
Madam Longbottom only sees the bad part about it what mostly is the wizard trying to get his own harem where the witches are submissive in any way what by Harry it isn't and would never will even if he has control over a few he would never abuse it like many wizards especially wizards from dark families will do.
Frank nods he knows it is true especially when his father was still alive. It was one of the things his parents argued out for a long time. His father only agreed that in the wrong hands the witches have a horrible life but he also saw the benefit in the law what infuriated his mother more but besides that, they really loved each other.
Frank and Alice were thinking if there is any way to get Madam Longbottom here without raising any issues what is hard. Harry is already protective of his family with Narcissa and Bellatrix, his wives and betroths he is even more protective of. Also including that multiple girls are interested in her grandson all if not most of those girls are also here.
The others were talking with each other if it was a good idea or not. After almost 20 minutes Harry stands up. Many notice and stop talking as he is Lord Potter and Lord of the manor. If this was a dark family his word is law. Harry is not from a dark family or raised by a dark (magical) family that is why he let everyone talk before he knows he needs to decide. He doesn't want to decide but as Lord, he must make the decision. He could let his wives decide but he knows enough that it shows a sign of weakness and indecisiveness.
The first that stop talking are his wives, Narcissa and Bellatrix. Slowly the others follow and after almost 5 minutes everybody stops and look at Harry.
Harry says "I say we allow Madam Longbottom to stay here but before she can move in the manor Lord and Lady Longbottom talk with her about everything that is needed. If she can't accept that she will be contained in a room that will be assigned to her. Until she honestly says she will not overreact or attack Narcissa and Bellatrix. Also, don't try to break up my wives and me, but also not try to talk girls out of their love for Neville."
Luna thinks 'or for those that love you.'
Harry thinks 'Luna I know you said more but please don't let it be much more.'
Luna thinks 'I will be alright Harry, trust us.'
Harry thinks 'I do.'
Harry asks "is that agreeable Lord and Lady Longbottom?"
Frank and Alice look at each other. After a few minutes, Frank sighs and says "that is agreeable but I think that need to be said before she comes otherwise this will look more like a prison than a safe place."
Harry says "that sounds reasonable. I would ask you to go Lord Longbottom but as she thinks you have still lost your mind and kidnapped I think it is unwise. Kingsley can you and Remus talk to her. Remus as order member when Lord and Lady Longbottom were the first time and Kingsley as you are a very reliable Auror. If you want I can give you a letter signed with the seal of Lord Potter because of the Alliance she maybe trusts it even in the time like we have like now."
Harry continues immediately "Jacob I think it would be wise if you also go with Kingsley and Remus as she knows you for the Wizengamot and as a neutral, she may trust you. Bill and Fleur I would like for one of you to go too not for a particular reason but there are the possibility Death Eaters will attack or wait until others that are against Tom and in this case us arrive before they will attack as they can use her as bait without her knowing. I will give you all a Portkey to here just in case but I will also make sure some elves go with you. I think with that the most problems can be solved. Does any of you have things to add?"
When nobody says something Harry asks "does any think this is a bad idea?"
Jacob stands and says "I am not sure if getting Madam Longbottom is the best idea, but Lord Potter if that is what you decide I would be glad to help any way I can."
Astoria gives her father a large smile and Daphne give a small smile to her father before trying to get her mask up but if you look good enough you see the cracks in her mask.
Harry nods and says "thank you, Lord Greengrass. I will send the elves tomorrow as today has been a tiring day for most of us and the elves also worked hard today and deserve their rest."
Hermione smiles at that as Harry about how he treats the house-elves but she knew he already did that. She likes however that Harry tries to show the others that the house-elves are as important as the others but that the elves need to be respected as persons and not objects like Dobby was treated before Harry tricked Malfoy into freeing Dobby.
Harry asks "Remus how is the box with Luna's wand going?"
Remus says "I am not sure but I think if I can work tomorrow on it I will be done. There were a couple of nasty curses and hexes. It has some kind of lock that I need to remove before someone can open it and there are still a few small curses and hexes. I hoped to be done earlier but with all the things that happened, I didn't have much time. Bill and Fleur can you help me with the last ones and the lock also as you experience you may found something I overlook."
"I wanted to wait until I was done but the lock especially seems pretty hard to remove or fool if we want to retrieve Luna's wand and maybe more than can be used temporality until we can get them a new wand for their own. I think Ollivander with the right ingredients maybe be persuaded to make wands for those that need it and after that those that may need another one as you are different including magical when you were eleven. It isn't uncommon for adult witches and wizards to get a new wand as the former doesn't work completely anymore if you don't break or poorly treated your wand."
Harry asks "alright. Narcissa have you been able to have an idea to get crafting items for Ollivander if he wants to help us by making new wands for a couple of us?"
Narcissa says "I have thought about it and the best way of getting crafting items is to search Mr. Ollivander's store. The front may be destroyed but maybe the back has a storeroom that is not completely destroyed. I don't know any other way to get the wand wood as you need special wood that has the quality for a wand and that also means most probably a Bowtruckle defend it. Also, I have no idea where to get it or without arousing suspicion if I can even find it."
"The crafting items for the wand core is a lot more difficult to get than the wood. We can hope Mr. Ollivander has most of the crafting items for the wand cores as I have no idea how to get it without arousing suspicion or at least get a lot of attention to what we won't want. Wand core items are closely regulated by the ministry."
Harry nods before he asks "Narcissa, can you if Mr. Ollivander is able, talk with him to know if his store has most crafting items left and where to find them or that he knows where to get the required crafting items if his store doesn't have anything left?"
Narcissa nods and asks "Andi is Mr. Ollivander awake?"
Andi says "I think so as he has been awake for most of the time the last couple of days however, I don't know if or hopefully when we get the crafting items he can make the wand although he has sort of been practising with his hands, however, I don't know if he pretends to make wands."
Harry says "that is great let me know tomorrow. Now if you will excuse me."
Harry doesn't wait and stands up to leave. Everybody stands up to leave. Wissy pops in to start to clear the table. Harry notice and says "Wissy thank you for the wonderful meal. I would say even better than Hogwarts."
Wissy bows and thanks to Harry for his praise. Harry smiles and says "if you need help just let me know."
Wissy says she will before continue clearing the table.
Hermione says "Harry I will go to the library to look for spells for when you are going to train the girls."
Harry wants to disagree but he knew no matter he will lose the argument and just says "alright Hermione. I think we should start with the spells we covered in the DA and continue on that. I think we also need to see how far the girls that weren't part of the DA like Daphne and the other Slytherin among others or were too young although that is only Astoria now, Gabby is also too young but she is a Veela and she wasn't at Hogwarts. We also need to help those who had trouble with the spells. Maybe Lupin can help as he taught me."
Hermione says "the spells are a good idea but I think most want you to teach them. They like Remus but it is you that taught us the first time and while Remus taught you some you also learned some yourself for the tri-wizard tournament and how you fight and survive is all you."
Harry says "but you helped me with the tri-wizard tournament….."
Hermione immediately interrupts and says "I only help find spells, you learned to use them. You are really good at the practical part what is more important than the book smart….. what I have."
Harry says "Hermione, book smart is also important as you need to know what the spell does and how to perform it. You made that very clear after I almost killed Malfoy with the spell Snape wrote in the half-prince book."
Hermione walks to Harry and kisses him before she says "I am sorry the potions made me think you were wrong while Malfoy could have hurt and even kill you if you didn't defend yourself. I think you are partially right but during a fight casting the spells is more important than knowing everything about it."
Harry says "thank you, Hermione. Maybe you are right. I am going to the office as I need to work on my Occlumency."
Hermione says "Harry can you please help me with it. I try to clear my mind but it is very difficult."
Harry says "I will, but another time if you don't mind. Maybe the others want to learn too, maybe we can do it as we did with the Patronus charm in the DA, we still need a new name."
Hermione nods before going to the library. The others were already there as they passed her when she was talking with Harry, although not everybody is there.
9th January 1998, the wives bedroom, Potter Manor
Hermione, Katie and Luna were getting ready for bed when Luna asks "Hermione are you going to Harry soon?"
Hermione asks "what do you mean?"
Luna says "you met your old bullies today. The Nargles tell me you are still a bit upset even though you tried not to let it bother you. I don't mind if you sleep in Harry's bed again. I would like to join but you can better be alone tonight. Tomorrow we will see who will sleep with Harry."
Hermione wants to argue but Luna wasn't wrong although Harry's presence in her mind kept her calm and she feels his love it still bothered her a bit. Hermione asks "Katie you don't mind if I sleep with Harry alone?"
Katie says "I don't mind although I would like to at least once. I do wonder if we all fit in his bed. His bed is quite spacious. I think we should try once maybe tomorrow or sometime soon maybe if Ginny comes here like Luna said won't take long. I mean only the wives of course. I honestly don't know if we fit with Daphne, Tracey and Su although Su, Luna, Astoria and Ginny are quite 'small' and thin also I am also not big. But I am not sure with the large breasts of Susan, Daphne and you Hermione not mentioning your arses especially yours and Susan's."
Hermione blushes a bit. She doesn't think her breasts are that big. Yes bigger than Katie's and smaller than Susan's but to be honest Susan has easily the largest breasts. Even though she likes boy's …. well, actually only Harry even she could see in Hogwarts that Susan's breasts were large and the largest of the school in their fifth year. Her arse is one of the biggest although Susan tops her again and know that it is easier for delivering children but tries not too much about it right now.
She hears Astoria and Susan consent with Katie's plan. Hermione is lucky they don't comment on her thoughts if they could hear them.
Hermione says "thank you, Luna and Katie. I will go to Harry's room but first I need to change for bed."
9th January 1998, Heirs Bedroom, Potter Manor
Harry walks into his bedroom after he spends some hours thinking and working on his Occlumency shields. He is was mostly thinking about the ring, but also what Death's other surprise is. As he couldn't think of anything he is wondering to use the ring to call for Sirius and apologize as it was his fault.
Harry know with the love he now has he would be strong enough to repress the urge to kill himself to join Sirius and his parents and for that, he feels very lucky, but that doesn't mean seeing Sirius and his parents will hurt less especially according to the story they will be between a ghost and living human and they were not happy. Even though Harry wants to see his parents and Sirius them being happy even in death is much more important.
Before he can think more his door opens and he sees Hermione standing there. However, instead of a nightdress like last time now she wears something that looks like her pyjama like she wore in their third year after Sirius managed to get in the Gryffindor common room as that is the last time he saw Hermione in her pyjama. It doesn't matter to Harry as she will always look beautiful even when she wore the unrevealing robes from Hogwarts.
Hermione did notice Harry surprise that she is here and not wearing a nightdress. Hermione decide to tell Harry why as he is her husband, this is biological and an important part for later in life when she wants his children.
Hermione says "Harry, I see you wonder why I don't wear what I wore the last time I spend the night with you. I am sorry but I having my period right now, but I met some bullies from before Hogwarts and I want to spend the night with you."
Harry looks a bit surprised but also clueless with a hit of embarrassment.
Hermione asks "Harry, you do what I mean right?"
Harry says "I know a bit. When Sirius and Remus talked with me in the summer before our fifth year. Sirius went a lot into what girls like not only to woo them but also in sexual situation Sirius also told me what men including him liked. Remus on the other hand told me more details about that but also told me about girls. Your ….. period is menstruation right?"
Hermione nods and Harry continues "Remus told me it is needed for women to have children. And it happens about every month and it is natural, but also that it can happen women are, sorry to say, kind of moody during those days. Remus says it takes about 3-8 days until it is over and then about one week to two weeks later it is the best moment to try to have children but it isn't uncommon is can happy outside of those days but it is more uncommon at least that is what Remus said."
Hermione nods and says "that is about right. I am happy at least Remus told you about that and don't worry about women being moody. I know I am and to be honest last night before you were going to bed I suddenly got mad at you without reason. Women also get mood swings like I was suddenly mad at you. Also, I feel fat, ugly and icky all over. Sorry, I understand if you don't want to spend the night with you."
Harry while becoming embarrassed says "you don't have to be sorry for being a woman. I would like to spend the night with you and you are not fat or ugly at all. I also don't find you icky."
Hermione smiles with tears in her eyes. She thinks 'damn hormones.'
Hermione says "thank you, Harry. And even though you said you don't find me fat, ugly or icky it is how I feel, but like you said it is natural and as it gives me the ability to bear your children I can live with it also after this period I can ask Andi if she can make or have the potion that will reduce the symptoms like fewer mood swings, fewer toilet breaks but also fewer cramps, moodiness and less aching of certain parts."
Harry says "I am happy for you and the others there are potions for that."
Hermione still had tears in her eyes.
Harry notice and says "Hermione sorry if I did something bad that made you sad or mad."
Hermione hugs him, gave a groan from unease and says "Harry you didn't do anything. I just my hormones and what you said. It made me feel happy you didn't find me fat, ugly, icky or even gross."
Harry says "Hermione you are still you, the women I love and is my wife. I can never find you fat, ugly, icky or gross."
Hermione says "we can better go to sleep. Harry can you hold me gently because of well you know."
Harry nods, Hermione turn to the other side and Harry gets behind before gently put one of his arms over her stomach. They both fall quickly asleep.
Let's end here for now. I firstly apologize for the long update, but I didn't have my laptop for two weeks and it was a little busy the last few weeks.
In the next chapter the first day that there is time to look through Sirius's gifts and there is a beginning of additional structures to the manor and more.
