Class started and Rose was getting anxious. She still managed to follow in class and to be on top but she had trouble concentrating on her tutoring sessions. She knew that she needed to speak with Jenny Collins, to tell her how she felt so that all of her hidden anger didn't resurface later, but the waiting made her anxious and, sometimes, a bit short tempered. She snapped a bit at people during the past few days and she was thankful that they were all understanding. Fred was especially sweet, knowing what she was going through, and every time she snapped at someone, she found out that he went back to the person to explain why she wasn't acting like she usually did, making sure she wouldn't lose friends over this. The one time she snapped at him, he simply hugged her, told her he loved her and that he was willing to be on the receiving end of her snapping and anger if it helped her feel better, which of course only made her love him more.
The board she had placed in Gryffindor's common room so students could help each other with the lessons they had problems on was very popular, so popular that it had expended to other houses and they were now looking for a room big enough and neutral where they would all be able to meet and work on their lessons together because sometimes, the best person to help a 4th year Ravenclaw in a class was a 5th year Huffelpuff and sometimes A 6th year Gryffindor needed the help of a 7th year Slytherin.
"Miss Rose? I have the chamomile tea you asked for." Dobby told her once classes ended and she sat down in the common room.
"Thank you Dobby, maybe this will help me concentrate on my search of the perfect room." She replied with a smile.
"What do you need a room for?" he asked her.
"We need a room where we could all work together on our homework. My idea to help each other when we need it was so popular that it expended to other houses and we need a large room where we could speak or practice magic. The Library won't work because she refuses to let us speak and the classrooms are too small. Harry suggested the Chamber of Secrets but it would be too scary for most people I think." Rose explained.
"I know just the room Miss Rose! It's called the come and go room, or the room of requirement. I can show it to you right away if you want, the room becomes anything you need it to be. A bathroom, a bedroom, anything! Dobby used it last year to help Winky when she was too sick or sad to work. I'm sure the room would be perfect for you and your friends to work on your classes!"
Dobby was especially excited to be able to help a member of the Potter family and Rose followed him, loving the idea of this room. Once Dobby left, Rose used her mirror to call her brother who joined her in front of the room with their friends. Soon, the news was given to everyone who had been interested in the sessions and they established a schedule, two hours every day after classes, where the room would be used for this only and people would be able to come either to give help, get help or simply do their homework with people nearby capable of helping.
"You know, Dumbledore told me once of a room he found one night, he had never seen it before and it turned out to be filled with chamber pots, just when he absolutely needed to find one. He could never find it again after that. Maybe this is it." Harry told them excitedly.
"I wonder, if you'd need to hide something, would it turn into a storage closet?" Fred wondered, already thinking of adding this room only on the more expensive versions of the maps.
He was sure that students who'd buy their maps would love to know about this place, a place where they could hide illegal items, or themselves when they need to escape a teacher or a prefect on patrol.
"Let's check it out." Rose smiled and since she had been the one to ask for the room, she closed her eyes and concentrated on a room fit to hide something.
Soon, everything around them changed and they saw rows upon rows of objects appearing all around them. Brooms, chairs, tables, desks, bottles, books, closets... Of course they had to move out of the way from the large piles of furniture, but the whole scene was very impressive.
"So much junk!" Ron exclaimed.
"Some of this could probably be useful. Look at all of this... Even books! How can someone dump books!" Hermione frowned.
"They might be dangerous." Rose frowned, looking around as well.
They were looking around, George had put a bottle in his pocket and Rose was opening a wooden cupboard to see what was inside.
"Selling all of this could bring lots of money to the school to help poorer students. Imagine the size of the yard sell!" Harry whispered.
"They might want to get a few Ministry of Magic employee in there to check for dark and dangerous objects first though." Hermione frowned.
"Doesn't this look like Ravenclaw's lost Diadem?" Rose asked Hermione who nodded.
"Maybe it's a copy, a lot of people have tried to copy it through the years." Hermione replied as Rose went to reach it.
"Don't touch it Rose!" Harry exclaimed.
"Why, what's wrong?" She asked him with a frown.
"Don't you feel it? I can definitely feel something... Something similar than what I felt when I touched the diary." Harry shook his head.
"You do?" She frowned, putting down the box it was in.
"Rose, don't you think He could have hidden one in here?" Harry asked his sister.
"We should get Dumbledore and Sirius here." Rose nodded and Harry took his mirror out, calling Sirius and telling him that they might have found an Horcruxe, that he needed to join them with Dumbledore here.
The others left, though Fred and George decided to come back later and look around, see if they'd find rare ingredients for their shop. Rose smiled when she saw Hermione carry two books out while Ron looked at a bottle of what looked like old and expensive alcohol with envy but didn't take it.
When Sirius arrived, he had the Headmaster with him and the Potter twins were waiting for them in front of the room, with the door open. Rose explained how Dobby showed her this room and how they decided to try and see if it would work, if it would truly become anything they needed it to be by looking for a good room to hide things.
"This must be where I found the room full of chamber pots a few years ago." Albus declared thoughtfully.
"I thought about this when Rose showed us the room." Harry nodded with an amused chuckle.
"Let's see this." Sirius nodded and Rose guided them to the diadem.
She had placed it back on the shelf she had found it on and Dumbledore immediately nodded.
"It is Ravenclaw's lost diadem and I can feel dark magic all around it. We need to destroy it." He told them.
"He could have come to hide it in here when he came to ask for the teacher's job." Harry suggested.
"Yes, probably." Sirius and Albus nodded.
"Do you think there could be more than one in this room?" Rose asked, looking around them at everything.
"I doubt it. He probably wanted to have them spread all around, separately, to be safer. This way if one was found, people would think it's the only one." Albus replied while shaking his head.
"Well, not too bad for one day. We found one more Horcruxe!" Harry smiled, looking at the diadem.
"We were looking for you Rose, I was about to use the mirror to call you when Harry called. We've arrange for you to go and visit Jenny Collins in Azkaban Saturday in the early afternoon. Remus will come to pick you up in the morning and bring you back later in the afternoon." Sirius informed her as they left the room, Albus had the Diadem with him and was going to destroy it in his office.
"Can I go with her? I don't want her to be alone..." Harry asked, making his twin smile tenderly.
"Sorry, but only her, it was hard enough to convince Fudge to allow a teenager to go inside Azkaban as it is. And after the last evasion, he refuses to let any prisoner out, even those who need to be interrogated. She might not be dangerous but she's deranged enough to decide to join Voldemort at the next occasion." Sirius shook his head.
"Don't worry Harry, I'll have Remus with me." Rose reassured her brother.
