A/N: To the person who responded on chapter 41 I think I wrote this already in chapter 32, but I don't think she will regain custody of teddy sorry, but you'll probably see him in the sequel. Also, I don't think we'll see how the girls celebrate but don't worry we still have some time with Aro and the Cullen's. maybe a bit of Edward/Bella in the next chapter.

Aro's Point of View

The meet and greet was over and Rebecca was with her friends Diana and Athenadora were with her as well. On their 'girl time'. Meanwhile, I slumped in my chair. It was at times like this I was glad vampires could at least sip wine. Today had been a crazy day. I realized that this was just another crazy day for Rebecca, but I was tired. If a vampire could be that.

It had always been hard dealing with the wizarding world. Partially because we all knew they had very little respect for us. I guess I had to be thankful Rebecca was one of the very few who did respect us and although she didn't know it. Mostly because she wouldn't like it. I had the guard detail surround the house. Far enough away that she wouldn't be suspicious, but they were close enough that she could be protected if it was necessary.

Thinking back on her fantasies, it was interesting. Thought the thought that she would say I was bias brought a smile to my face. I noticed Caius materialize in the doorway and took a cup to pour himself some wine, "you seem to be taking this well." He paused to take sip. Even without the use of my gift I could tell what he was thinking.

I guess this happened with someone you may not have known your entire life but a very long part of it. Three thousand years give or take. He was thinking about what to do now. I had an idea and I know he may dislike it, but it might be the best thing to do, "you're calling Carlisle?" he said it as more of a question then a statement, but I knew he could predict me just as easily if not more so.

Despite not having a gift, he was very observant and picked a lot of things up "yes." I sighed "I am planning to call him." He knew what I was waiting for now was his approval. He had a healthy respect for Carlisle, but not the same friendship I did. Also, having to deal with Edward a while ago really would put a damper on his ability to handle another Cullen. even Carlisle.

"fine" he said and left understanding I would like the illusion at least of privacy in my call. I picked up my phone up and typed in the number, remembering how she thought of it as a phellytone. The line trilled "Dr. Cullen here how can I help you?" "Carlisle? I need some help" I heard walking, "hang on just a moment I'm going to somewhere more private." Silence followed for a few more seconds. I heard the wind flowing in the background "okay, what is it that you need help with? is Rebecca ill?" obviously that would be his first guess, "not exactly, the legends about hybrids? There apparently there true." There was silence, but he didn't hesitate for long "so, Rebecca is pregnant with a hybrid?" "yes, and I would appreciate it if you could come and help us through the motions." "got it I'll be in Volterra in two days. Also, is it okay if I bring Esme? Or the kids? I can't really leave them home." I thought for a moment Caius may not like it, but I needed Carlisle at the moment so "yes" was my answer. The line cut, and I sat there waiting for Rebecca to come back.

Carlisle's Point of View

A hybrid? I thought running back to my house. That was certainly unexpected, though I was glad Rebecca wasn't sick. From the stories the kids usually killed the mothers, but I wonder if her theory would be enough to protect her. I sure hoped so.

Bella was here because she felt like there wasn't anything to do besides school and here. I loved that Edward found his mate, and Esme was glad for the prospect of another child. When in the living room I gave a call "everyone." I said barely more than a whisper. My family made there way to the living room and I thought to Edward 'I want to tell them'

"okay," everyone seemed settled so I started "we're going to Volterra for a few days, you can pack up we'll be leaving tomorrow." I said two days because I thought Bella might like to come along too. Besides it would be a good opportunity for everyone to see the Volturi aren't that bad. More so than its already been seen.

Emmett had the first question, "why are we going to Volterra? Is it to see Rebecca again? If so, I'd be ready to leave today." Emmett had always had a fun-loving personality, he hadn't seen Rebecca even for a few weeks, but I was sure their reunion would be like the two hadn't seen each other in years. "Apparently the stories of hybrid children were true. She's pregnant that's all I know. Besides that, everyone can come."

Bella shot up "you mean she's pregnant at nineteen, with a half human half vampire thing? Why doesn't she get an abortion? I mean how can she be fine with having a child with someone who tried to kill me?" she looked surprised at the news, and she still seemed not to have gotten over her last trip to Volterra.

I had a question of my own, "how did you know of the stories?" she answered without hesitation "it was on this website. Vampires A to Z, it's were I figured out what Edward was." Interesting, "an abortion would be for her to decide, and Aro didn't try to kill you he was just doing his job as one of the three leaders." she didn't look convinced, but I asked Edward mentally to try and reason with her to come since I was sure Rebecca and Bella would love having there cousin's around.
