A/N: Time to work my magic... or whatever surmounts to it in the real world. Review Time!
To Murtaito: The hype is real. The villain I've got lined up will be... interesting. And yeah it's Yuki and Akio, those two are really something else. As for 1-B... not really anything other than some moments with Yuki and the rest really, I just pointed out the fact they weren't present with 1-A at the cliff.
To: Cobbb: Can't say or promise anything but Izuku's gonna be going through quite a few developments himself, right now (If I can remember) his power is roughly 20 - 25% with some strain. Well, happy to see you're entertained.
Enjoy.
Chapter 39 - Steamy Perfection
The afternoon stretched by as Yuki and Akio lost track of time, the latter having spent his time sleeping atop the roof of the main building to bask in the sunlight for a bit, his shadow doing the same, then his ear twitched, followed by a weary sigh.
"It's nearly half-past-five..." Viral knew it would take the class long but he hadn't expected them to draw out the skirmish for so many hours
"Hehehe, maybe we should've stayed." Akio decided to play it safe and kept his eyes closed for the time being
Back inside the kitchen, a pair of scornful, onyx eyes followed the humming bluette as she zipped around the many counters, testing and detailing the finishing touches of the massive array of food she had cooking for a few hours. Pots simmered and aromas filled her nose and Kota's, though he did his best to refrain from losing his poker face while observing the mute.
The timing was certain | It seems the others survived | A little earlier but most of the main dishes are ready
"Awesome, you're the best as always, SIVA!" Yuki chirped in her head while the A.I hummed to her words, leaving her to list off the many times dotting her right eye, some left on hold at a low temperature while she prepped what was left for her class. "I haven't cooked this much in months, feels like forever ago."
"How are you doing that?" For the first time all afternoon, Kota spoke, surprising Yuki from her cooking frenzy to peer down at the little boy. Though his face hid it well, she could tell he was curious
Tapping a finger to her mask's right lens the eyes curved. 'Before you assume, it's not my Quirk, I just have a list of times dotting the HUD in my right eye, helps when prepping so much food in one go' She dusted her hands off. 'It's really easy, the timing and initiative to learn is all there is to cooking'
Her next note left him silent while her head tilted toward him. 'I may be training to become a hero but I want a life outside of that world too, and this makes me happy :)'
Then that glint vanished, replaced with anger. "Why waste your time being some stupid hero, all you idiots do is kill yourselves or fight just to be famous, nothing good ever comes-" He was then struck in the forehead by Yuki's index finger, making him wince while she pulled her mask back. "Hey, why'd you-!"
'I became a monster because of my power' Her words appeared before him, 'A hero saved me when no one else would, Mr. Aizawa told you just the scars on the surface, but, the things I've had to endure could have very well made me into something far worse than any villain could imagine' She felt her body tremble at the image. 'Kota, please do me a favor, don't bastardize my friends' dreams, they're here to prevent tragedies like mine from ever happening again, I know you harbor resentment and I won't pry into why, but, if you ever want to, come talk to me'
He scoffed. "Why would I give a damn about anything-!" Again he was stopped, only now by the strange girl ruffling his hair under his hat warmly, staring back at his hateful eyes with care and compassion
'Because, I'm the only one in the world who understands how you feel' That was all she left as she shot up, flinging herself at the kitchen in a panic to keep everything under control, sweating bullets as Mandalay walked in with a laugh at the flustered girl, easing her to go and see her friends while she handled the rest, Yuki then bowed rapidly as thanks, fueling the short laugh coming from the Pro
Kota just stood there, lifting his hand to wear Yuki put her hand underneath his hat.
When Yuki finally joined the others she... couldn't help but wince in horror as Kota struck her boyfriend right in the balls with his foot, leaving Izuku reeling in agony. Her eyes went on the fritz as she flew to their sides, glaring down at Kota. 'What the hell, Kota!? That's my cinnamon roll you just dismantled!'
"You said not to bastardize their dreams..." He huffed cynically, surprising the girl while she held Izuku by his shoulder and chest, watching him storm off with his head low. "...so I didn't, I just hate them all."
That only left Yuki to sigh in defeat, looking worryingly down at Izuku who wheezed from the pain. 'Sorry me and Akio didn't stick around, but if I had to fight those dirt monsters again I think I might have PTSD' She joked, hearing a collection of groans from the class that had clearly been through hell, so, with her pride on the line, she helped Izuku to his feet, surprised that he leaned against her chest for support without thinking. 'I'll be honest you guys did better than me the first time around'
"Huh? You're serious?" Mina panted, looking around at the reactions of the others
Yuki then nervously played with one of her locks shyly. 'I may have... only gotten here at eight at night' With this revelation the group gawked at their almost unbeatable classmate admitting she struggled herself, despite the fact she soloed the whole forest but she wouldn't bring that part up
"NO WAY!?" From their reactions it clearly put a spring in their step again, so that was good enough for her while she winked, motioning for them to come on in while Izuku finally recovered, jumping back with a steamy face from where his head was situated, making Yuki giggle silently
"Enough playing around, get your stuff off the bus," Mr. Aizawa drawled. "Once your bags are in your rooms we'll have dinner in the cafeteria, after that you can bathe and sleep, tomorrow your training starts in earnest, you better get a move on." He didn't show it, but Yuki could tell that man was enjoying every moment of this and the suffering of his students
"Come on, everyone, perk up!" Pixie shot her hand high with a smile. "Little Yuyu is the one who cooked while you were out battling with all your hearts!" Then she started gushing, droll slipping down her cheek. "It's like heaven...~!"
It didn't take the class long to realize every word Pixie Bob spoke was nothing but the wholesome truth, with Yuki standing before the tables with a blank look on her face, watching them all eat with gusto and bliss in their eyes."THIS IS AMAZING!" Kirishima and Kaminari cried while scarfing down the bowls in their hands, leaving Yuki to sweatdrop at their reactions
'Is it really that good? I honestly just go with the flow when cooking, and time everything' She knew her food didn't kill people and she just nodded nonchalantly whenever her Mom would compliment her skills, outside of training with SIVA it was probably the one hobby Yuki experimented with the most
"Yuki, you never told us you could cook this well!?" Ochaco gushed
"Yeah, I think you might have Akio beat with this one," Kyoka smiled, pointing her chopsticks toward the faux-brown-haired teen who raised his hand
"I second that!" He admitted, going back to his meal
Then Yaomomo beamed. "The flavors are just so sweet and leave a great aftertaste..."
From the guys' side, Shoto looked up from his meal, offering her a soft look. "Your talent is excellent, you shouldn't doubt yourself."
"Yeah, this might as good as Lunch Rush's food!" Sero compliment, even Izuku managed a satisfied nod of approval
"We were gonna do it ourselves but Yuyu and her friend already arrived early that when we came back to check on them she was already working a mile a minute!" Pixie, with a far more eased aura, smiled at them. "So you better enjoy it because from now on you'll be helping her and yourselves with your own cooking."
Yuki stood there, memories of her Mama teaching her how to cook without a recipe and the issuing chaos that inevitably befell the two, laughing as her Dad gawked at the two as they laughed together, Nana doing the same off to the side as she would watch with big blue eyes, her fanged smile wide with wonder. It took forever for them to clean the kitchen, remembering her Dad asking how in God's name did they get stains on the ceiling.
With all these positive notions rekindling the memories, Yuki slumped back against the wall, startling a few as she smiled brightly, keeping her eyes closed while brushing aside a stray tear. 'I'm happy you all are happy too! So enjoy 'cause once training for the day is over I'm gonna show you how to cook with pride!' Many gave out a chorus of cheers at the declaration, Akio himself agreeing beforehand to share the load in that regard
"THANK YOU!"
From the other side of the sliding door, Yuki held her hand close to her chest wrapped in a towel, it boggled her why she felt... insecure as of this moment, she wore pretty revealing clothing before, smiling at the reaction she got from Izuku back on I-Island and that time he walked in on her bathing, though that was on her for not locking the door, he couldn't stop blushing for the whole night.
Are you well? | Is this about your scars? | You've got me, remember, you'll be fine
Touched by his words she adjusted the mask on her right temple, smirking a little while gripping the handle. "You should be honored, SIVA, many men would kill for a chance to see the heavens waiting beyond this door." He chuffed
While I can see the appeal | Your kind does not interest me | Besides, I have seen you when you're indecent far too many times to care
Silently laughing at his admittance of the ex-Fallen she threw the door back to find the steamy waters ahead. The rest of the girls have already descended into bliss, not realizing she was approaching them. With a grin, Yuki slithered off to the side while they murmured about the hot springs, her grin that of a cat that swallowed the canary.
"SIVA, here's how I disrupt the peace," With a running start, Yuki propelled herself from the wall and high above the girls, only Ochaco realizing this before it was too late. While peace and tranquility soothed their minds, Yuki's chaotic impact with the water brought a chorus of yells from the girls as they leapt from their skin in fright. "I call it, Perfected Dive!"
Throwing her hands up with a sharp smile the girls all turned to find the mute humming as she leveled herself back into the hot bath, towel left at the edge before she splashed down. "YUKI!" They screamed, seeing her wink and stick her tongue out
'Sorry~ Couldn't resist' She joked, swimming to put her back to the edge with a sigh. 'This is really nice though...'
Yaomomo looked at her with disapproval. "You shouldn't be so bold, what if one of the boys saw you?" At this, Yuki blinked, pondering on it a moment
She shrugged. 'Eh, not the worst thing to happen, besides, Izuku's seen me naked before' The words drew a long silence, and Yuki swore she heard SIVA facepalm
On the other side of the wall, the boys heard the splash and shriek, some pretending not to listen, with Kaminari growling in protest. "This is just torture at this point."
Akio, who had been half-submerged beneath the waves brought his head up, finger prodding at the wall. "From what Viral told me Yuki just scared the living Jesus out of them, hehe, brilliant execution too." Upon hearing this half the boys gawked at the Nightmare Host, himself blinking while tilting his head off to one side. "What? What I say?"
"You lucky bastard..." Kaminari soon grabbed the boy and started thrashing him back and forth. "You could have told us you can see what lies beyond that wall, you lucky bastard!"
"I~I On~nn~ly go~ot a~a pl~aay, by~pl-aa~ay!" Akio dizzily replied, thrown back into the water as the others relaxed
"You shouldn't be prodding into their privacy like that, it's indecent!" Iida reprimanded Akio, so again his hand jabbed from the water, pointing to the shadow by the wall, to which the one eye that glared back narrowed
"For your information, I do not find your kind attractive, I can understand the appeal but nothing more," His shadowy hand tapped his chest. "I'm a creature comprised of dark energy and emotions, feeding off souls and negative feelings, what is there to gain other than the embarrassment and shock from Yuki's little stunt, hehehe."
"WHAT!?" The girls screamed in unison, followed by Hagakure's shocked voice
"M-Midoriya's seen you n-naked before!?" If there was a gavel it had come down on his head, the greenette sat there, face from the neck up boiling hotter than the water itself as the boys all looked and gawked at their meek classmate, his eyes darting around in a frenzy with his arms waving wide
"I-It's not like that - I-It was a-an accident!?" He shrieked but the damage was done
"Tch, the shy one is so bold, how that's for indecency?" Viral cackled while Kaminari cried out
"Dammit, Midoriya, you've already gotten to see what lies beyond, you smug traitor!" He yelled with righteous fury, freezing the boy in place as he threw his hands up in defense
"Man, Mirdoriya, didn't think you had it in ya..." Kirishima was surprised, seeing the crimson on his face darken
"I didn't see anything!" He begged them to listen but half of them agreed, Midoriya was a fortunate man among them
"Oh, so it was just an accident?" Tsu put her finger to her chin, Yuki nodding simply at their blushing faces, though Mina now shrunk down as her juicy gossip was a mere misunderstanding
'Yeeeeah, in hindsight I should have locked the door, aw well' Not that she minded if Izuku saw me - Stop it brain! She thankfully hid her own blush well thanks to the heat of the bath. 'Zuzu's a dolt at times but he's really sweet and protective so I know he'd never do something to hurt me'
The girls 'awed' at this, not realizing the torture said boy was currently enduring thanks to the guys, but for Kyoka she chuffed upon hearing the boy's wails for mercy. However, the pinkette pipped up from her spot on the edge of the pool. "Hey, so why do you always wear that mask wherever you go, even in the bath?"
At the curious notion of Yuki's most notable addition to her look, all their eyes spun round to the girl, seeing her seize up as Kyoka bit back a curse, knowing well of Yuki's 'issue' revolving around that mask. "Hey, guys, this isn't something-" Her words were cut short by Yuki's hand, the left reaching up to rub its surface tentatively. "Yuki..."
'It's a keepsake from a very close friend, he's basically family to me' She smiled earnestly, eyes looming at her murky reflection in the water. 'When I was... in a bad place, it was him who saved me, gave me this mask, saying it's a reminder of the one he used to wear, a way to hide from the world'
Her words brought a sorrowful air around the girls, none of them bar Kyoka realized just how dark Yuki's world was, they had glimpses thanks to Kovik but hearing this made fact that not everyone has lived their lives free of cruelty. None more than Yuki herself. With a smile, she plucked the mask off her head, holding it close to her chest.
'I won't ever part with this gift, the only way I would is if I die' They saw it then, a flame burning in her eyes at that solemn vow. Then her eyes eased, waving a hand sheepishly. 'Sorry, didn't mean to get all serious, just that I really don't like taking my mask off or having it away from me!' With that, she slipped back onto her temple
"Oh hey, I almost forgot!" Mina beamed, pointing to Yuki with a half-lidded gaze. "How did you and Midoriya get together? I heard you both made out on I-Island, hehehe."
This brought back the girl's blush, waving her hands as her mouth became ajar. 'W-What!? N-n-no we, we didn't um, m-makeout... I-I - w-we just... kissed...' She started to fall apart under their judgemental stares, Yaomomo adding fuel to the fire
"You two just look so cute, I'm sorry!" She gushed, further increasing the girl's hot-and-bothered heart as she shot up, waving her arms wide
'Can we talk about something that isn't my love life, why me!?' She begged them, huffing as they merely laughed at her flustered reaction. 'This is payback for my scare, isn't it?' Her deadpan look met a chorus of hums in response
"That and abandoning us in the forest with Akio, sorry, Yuyu." Ocha smiled sweetly, and Yuki realized she couldn't be mad at a smile like that, even Bakugo would suffer attempting to resist the sweetness
"Okay then, let's talk about... hm-hm-hm..." Hagakure trailed off, but somehow that only darkened Yuki's form, feeling she should run while she had the chance. Or rather she would, but the invisible girl had vanished, her outline no longer visible above the water.
Sensing great danger Yuki twisted her body around slowly in time for a fountain of water to spray her, and for two soft forces to grab her chest, squeezing as the tactile girl's resolve fell apart, being fooled as she suffered her worst fear. "I'm the centerpiece of an anime cliche... whyyyy~!" She wept internally while attempting to pry the invisible hands off her chest
"Hehehe, you're so soft, Yuki!" She purposefully made that loud enough for those beyond the wall to hear, followed by a shriek and gargle and the maddening laughter of a familiar Nightmare to Yuki's ears, causing her eyes to tinge red with fury, hearing Hagakure's laughter die in her throat. "Ah... hehe, might have gone too far..."
"Ya think?" Kyoka remarked, hand on her face as Yuki's demon eyes locked to the invisible girl's orbs, which scared her most of all.
'You know, I'm thinking-' She flipped the note. '-Perhaps I can use my Quirk to temporarily make you visible, then throw you across the wall, how's that sound?' If the water wasn't already heated the girls would have felt Yuki's skin boil the bath further with her toothy smile and piercing eyes
"Kota!" As if by a miracle, Izuku's voice shot across the bathhouse as Yuki saw the faint glimpse of the little boy fall toward the boy's side of the wall, then Yuki realized why. Given the fact someone had to keep watch encase someone tried to do something indecent, that meant they had a clear view of both sides
Looking down at her own bare, naked form, Yuki's eyes softened back into their blue orbs, herself mentally cursing as she grabbed her towel and made a B-line for the exit, but not before glaring at Hagakure. 'I will get you and I'll make it look like a bloody accident' That left the invisible girl to wallow in fear as Yuki left their sights
Izuku wasn't with Mandalay in the staff office for long after catching Kota, but in that short frame, the door was about to shoot open, but SIVA appeared in her right eye. She wanted to ensure Kota was okay, being partially to blame for the boy's stumble and fall after catching a glimpse of heaven.
Wait | You will want to hear this | I have dug around records myself
She didn't understand what he meant by that, but with her ear to the door, she could hear Mandalay explaining something to Izuku in a grim voice. "-It was a villain, two years back Kota was so small, they were killed while protecting citizens, perhaps the most respectable way for any hero to die, but..."
Hearing this, Yuki put a hand over her mouth, images of chaos and static running through her head, then of blood dripping down her Mom's face, that weary smile despite the pain. Kota... had lost them too, without any warning.
"How do you even begin to explain to a child that his parents died honorable deaths?" Mandalay sounded so lost in her own question, Yuki herself wondering how the Doctors broke the news of her family's deaths to her that day, even they couldn't give it to her straight for what felt like an eternity. "They were his entire world, everything-" Just like Yuki's. "-but to him his parents had left him behind." Kovik had taken them from her.
"All the while they were being praised, everyone kept telling him their sacrifice was noble," But Yuki understood, the times they said she was brave and fought through, what point did that make if she couldn't have walked or talked again with SIVA? What point was there if all she had was robbed from her? For Kota, what other reason could he begin to understand, they left him behind, and that became so engraved in his rage
Yuki had heard enough, picking herself away from the door as something warm ran down her face. Over the years she had seen both the darkest and lightest forms of humanity, the many views, and ideals of heroes and villains, all memorized and taken to heart. It was easy to say what you felt but to those that listened the matter couldn't ever be understood by all. Kota was on that line, to him, people like Yuki were the scum of the earth, and to her, without control she knew what she was... a monster.
Right now, Yuki stood with her back to the wall, hidden in the gloomy corridor as she wiped her tears away. "I want to save him from this, SIVA, I felt he and I were similar but now I get it, he's me, he wants to say so much but anger, confusion, and loss are clouding his heart," "Tch..." She clicked her tongue, punching the wall slightly
"Yuki?" Standing there, Izuku found the girl glaring daggers at the wall ahead of her, standing in nothing but a towel as she turned her gaze to his, softening with a pained smile. Seeing the stains of tears on her face immediately tensed his muscles, moving to her side. "You were crying? Did you...?"
She nodded once, shaking her head. 'I guess I just realized how hard training is going to be, between my own workout, yours, and looking after that little menace; Man, All Might owes me big for this' She was joking, and although Izuku was curious as to what she meant by 'his' training, he reached down and cupped her hands, cutting off her smile with his stern look
"Yuki, it's okay," Hearing those words she pulled her right away, holding out a page
'The girls really made me wonder... why me? Why do you... care so much for... for a monster like me?' The words crashed against his chest, so painfully he almost twitched at her hurtful words toward herself, eyes glaring down at her arms. 'These hands, my mind, my power, it always causes harm, to myself, to the world, all of you, heh, Ravage... even though I said I was fine...' Her hands were shaking. 'I tried to kill you with my bare hands again, I felt it, every vein, every muscle twitch, I wanted... I wanted to-'
"That's enough!" He yelled, startling her as he looked deep into her light-blue orbs, frown fixed to his lips as he scrunched his face up. "You're amazing, Yuki, you're not some monster, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me!" He, in all his time of knowing Yuki, never intended to let his inner thoughts slip out, but now he couldn't stop. "A monster would destroy all in their wake, but not you, every day you fought and fought without me knowing, every time I learned something about you I felt so ashamed because I couldn't understand,"
He bowed his head a moment, grinding his teeth until he forced himself to stare back at her aghast face. "You kept fighting against everything the world threw at you, to save your sister, that's not what a monster would do," He brought her right hand back into his, holding her tightly with affection in his eyes and a sweet smile alongside his growing blush. "That's something the hero Aksis would do, what Yuki Azuru would do."
Her cheeks then puffed out, and his heart rate ticked faster, the painful realization they were alone in nothing but towels, causing his heart to burst. "She looks so beautiful right now..." Then she pulled him closer, pressing her head against his chest for support, and for a time she forgot where she was, wrapping her arms around his waist securely, she felt safe and complete.
A note flew up to Izuku's face, surprising him. 'You saved me so many times, I don't know why, but every time you're near me I feel stronger, confident-' Her arms squeezed him tighter. '-You'd hold me, and my walls fall apart, and I feel like I'm human again, I'm just... me'
"Yuki..." He whispered to her ear, he didn't protest, wrapping both arms around her, pulling her closer to his body while resting his face on her head, face burning as the exotic scent of summer fruits filled his nose.
It's the same she always used whenever she stayed at Izuku's, he accidentally used it himself one day and couldn't get Yuki to stop hugging him so she could know how it smelled coming from someone else, it was so stupid and trivial but he didn't stop her, not that he could, and not that he wanted to.
The things he did for her were so strange, from letting her take his blue jacket that she wore almost all the time to her stealing his old shirts that were bigger than her. There were times they'd play old games together, passing out by the T.V atop one another, those moments were the first few times he felt his hand reach for her mask, only for her hand to snap out, scaring the daylights out of him.
Just the small things he did for her brought those two big, blue curved eyes on her mask to life, even when she moved her mask the image hadn't changed, a toothy grin and closed eyes to show her affection all without a word, because, as he realized, it was those tiny specks that meant everything to her and more. After all they've been through, he realized just how endearing she was to him, and how big of an impact she had on his life as a whole.
He wanted to say it, his heart and his mind begged him to say those words but he fought against it all. She knew how he felt and more, but he vowed to wait, no matter if it took months or years until he heard her say it too, that's when he'd return her affection.
After a while, Yuki's eyes shot wide as she pulled back upon realizing the comparable position they were in, face fuming with embarrassment while Izuku caught her around the waist, keeping her from tripping herself up. That was when she gazed up at his sparkling, emerald eyes in the dusk of the hall, his firm grip around her slender back as it held her upright. She parted her lips but again, no voice came out, irritating the girl so she pressed forward, locking her lips to Izuku's passionately.
She moved her arms, pressing her hands to his shoulders as she pulled him deeper into the kiss, caution, and care forsaken for an instant. Izuku felt gravity shift so he steadied himself, holding Yuki's waist while she pressed her back against the wall, his eyes closed while he savored the sensation himself, pushing back just as eagerly.
They moved in tandem with one another, hearts on fire much like their souls as a soft, muffled moan escaped Yuki's throat, yet she couldn't care less, it was just the two of them alone in the dark. That spurred their makeout session to deepen, as Izuku felt Yuki's fingers ghost through his hair affectionately. Yuki's skin shivered as his trembling hand ran from her waist up to her neck, tilting her chin to bridge whatever space remained between their flush bodies.
Despite their superhuman nature, Yuki was the first to push a gap between them, gasping for air as their hot breaths battered off each other's lips. Izuku pressed his head against her shoulder, breathing uneven while his mind refused to cease its rampant thoughts specifically about Yuki, no matter how hard he tried to ignore them given their situation and current location.
'...Izuku...' He saw the note, body going rigid as he realized as she had their predicament. Yuki smiled, silently jolting to indicate a giggle as she let the blush crawl up her cheeks, pulling him away to stare tenderly at his eyes, bringing her face closer to nuzzle his cheek with a smile before she tried to pull away
"Yuki," She heard him breathe before she yelped, pulled back into his arms as she nearly lost the knot on her towel, his arms wrapped around her front, the right on her shoulder and the other around her stomach as she was pulled flush against his body. "Sorry, I..." Again they stood there, eyes closed while Yuki let him indulge in holding her close for a moment longer
With a great deal of willpower, Yuki pried herself from his arms, turning with a smile. 'Get some rest, Zuzu, 'cause tomorrow I'm going to push you past your limits, got that? Oh, and who knows, maybe you'll see me in your dreams too ;)' Not waiting for a reply she spun on her heel and steadily made her way down the hall, berating herself for being a hypocrite as she knew exactly what her dreams were going to portray, something she lacked the courage and desire to enact
"Yuki, wait!" He caught his breath, covering his eyes from seeing her body defined in the light from the windows, even with a towel her body looked spectacular in the light. "G-goodnight!" Without another word he vanished like a puff of smoke, leaving her to blink and steadily return to the girls' room instead to prepare herself for tomorrow
"I will tell you, Izuku, by the end of this camp," She clenched her fist against her heart. "I will control SIVA."
The girls had returned and nightfall had approached yet Yuki remained adamant on the floor next to her bed, scribbling notes and jotting ideas down on paper with her signature chibified illustrations. This was alot of work even with SIVA, compiling her work, Izuku's, and keeping an eye on Kota.
That was when someone entered the girls' room silently, although Yuki could hear them approach with a soft patter of feet, she smiled, content to continue her work in the dark while a form stood before her. Without a word she lifted the blanket she draped over herself, using another as a cusion under her body while her pillow was her desk.
"So he doesn't hate me..." Yuki thought passively as Kota moved in next to her, then she saw his glare shift away as he turned his back to her
"I'm only here 'cause they said I should stay close to you or whatever..." Hmm, his lying isn't half bad but Yuki could definitely see the uncanny resemblance of her younger self in him. Flicking her pen to her left hand she continued her rigorous work in the dark with her new occupant, a faint humming escaping her lips
Patting his head while she worked she never saw the uninterested eyes slowly begin to fall under her soothing hand and siren voice, or the tiny smile that broke away the frown after so many months.
