Good Morning, my dears! Welcome back to Lockdown! I was interested to see everyone's take on Rose. The pandmeic really forced a lot of us to make some quick decisions; some that have worked out and some that have absolutely not. Scary as hell, even now!

Thank you to Fran S. Sunflower & DaniDarlingxx.

Day 8: March 20, 2020

Jasper

13:58 PDT

Los Angeles, California

"Seriously, man?"

I look at Emmett and shrug. "Alice insists," I tell him. Alice wants us to be able to pick up Edward from LAX tonight while maintaining social distancing. I wasn't quite sure how she planned to do that until she handed me three large pillows.

Now, Emmett and I are cleaning out the bed of my truck and putting pillows and blankets down for a makeshift bed. I have a shell on the back of the truck, so it's not like he'll be exposed to the elements, but still.

"Dude is flying all day, and we shove his ass in this like we're trying to smuggle him into the country or something," Emmett mutters. I smirk as I throw another blanket back there. "Are you nervous?"

I look at Emmett. "About what?"

He rolls his eyes. "Living with him while you're banging his sister down the hall."

I smack him with the closest pillow, and he laughs. "Shut up, man. I love her."

He chuckles. "I know, but still. She's his little sister. Isn't that going to be weird?" A dark look crosses his face, and he shudders. I wonder how many times he's caught guys with his sisters. From the look on his face, it seems like often enough.

"I don't know, man; I've never really met him."

Emmett frowns. "I hope he's cool," he pouts. "We need a bit more testosterone to balance shit out around here," he glances at the house. "Not that I'm really complaining. The girls are amazing, and they smell awesome."

I laugh at his stupid ass. "He's a history major," I tell Emmett as we finish up the truck. "But I think he's pretty chill. He's into music, and I see him posting hiking pictures in Europe a lot," I point out, hoping it will help. Emmett looks appeased by this.

"Good, I need someone who won't bitch the whole time we're out hiking," he says, hopping out of the truck and snapping it shut. I shake my head at him as we head back inside.

I hadn't thought about it, but I guess I am a little nervous about meeting Edward. I don't think he'll hate me or try to break Ali and me up, but I fully plan on marrying Alice one day, and I want to start things off with him on the right foot.

For the first time, I let myself consider the possible ramifications of living with my girlfriend and her brother.

So their plan to pick up Edward was how I arrived in the US myself, but I'll talk about that more in a few days. For now, can we agree that though Alice might be overstepping and making decisions for the house without anyone buying in first, Jasper is pretty swoon-worthy.

I'll see you loves tomorrow!
