Chapter 44 The Burrow summer part 2, Harry learns swimming, the twins confession and the oldest Weasley's come home

18th August 1994, The Burrow

It is breakfast when Ginny proposes to show Harry the pond on the property you can swim in. She tells she loves the pond as she used it a lot in her youth before Hogwarts and couldn't wait to use it again as she didn't use it the year before.

Ginny asks "Harry do you have swimming trunks?"

Harry shakes his head and says "no, the Dursley's never took me to the beach although they also rarely went to the beach either, if they did they asked a nearby neighbour to babysit me. Well, they did with most things if they went somewhere to have the neighbour babysit me. I think my relatives hoped I would fall in the water around Surrey or London. Why?"

Ginny tries to not get mad and show Harry pity but she knows he doesn't want that. After a small minute she asks her mom who hasn't been listening "mom, do we have swimming trunks Harry can wear?"

Mrs. Weasley says "oh Harry don't you got any. I think Bill left two or three. I am sure I can charm them to fit you and you can keep them as Bill have outgrown them even before he graduated Hogwarts."

Harry smiles "thank you Mrs. Weasley, but you don't have to."

Mrs. Weasley smiles and says "nonsense dear, I will happily do it for you. Ginny, why don't you take Ron or the twins with you?"

The twins who were whispering look up and one asks "what did you."

The other finish "say, mom?"

Mrs. Weasley says "to join your sister, brother, Hermione and Harry to the pond on the property."

They both look around Ron obviously not noticing as he was wolfing down a plate of food but notice the nervousness of Hermione and the dangerous glare from Ginny.

One says "we have to."

The other continue "do other things, Mom."

Apparently, Fred says "Gred and I work on a project."

George continues "for the upcoming school year is what forge means."

Fred says "maybe another time."

Ginny stops glaring and has a large smile before she says "but mom Ron isn't even close to finishing his homework. He didn't work on it when we read the last few days."

Mom gets mad and says "what! Ronald Bilius Weasley?"

Ron doesn't even hear his name and doesn't show any sign of hearing his mother until his mother removes his plate of food. He didn't know anyone else is at the table until his eyes follow the plate while whining a bit. Mrs. Weasley finally getting Ron attention asks what Ginny claims and he just says "I will do it later."

Mrs. Weasley gets mad and says "no you will do it today. You are not allowed to leave your room for today and you are not allowed to fly outside until you complete your homework."

Ron whines. Mrs. Weasley's look doesn't falter and Ron stops. He tries to offer but the looks say enough and Ron defeated says "all right mom."

Ron has enough other books to keep him occupied for the day as he doesn't for one moment decides to do his homework today.

Ginny's father is already gone as he got an emergency message and the twins don't draw attention to them. Mrs. Weasley says "but first you Ronald go degnome the garden alone. You have 30 minutes so you better go now or you won't get lunch and only one plate of food this evening."

Ron whines and says "but mom I am still hungry."

Hermione can't control herself, she huffs "seriously Ronald. You already have finished four large plates of food."

Ron says angrily "I am a growing boy y…."

Harry stands up before Ronald can continue and almost furious says "don't go there, Ron."

Ron looks in disbelief why Harry chooses Hermione side. Ron rudely and harshly stands up and walk outside to degnome the garden afraid he will die from hunger today otherwise not knowing Harry went longer without food and mostly get less food in a whole day than Ron had this morning. Harry doesn't even get more food after he didn't get food for a time at the Dursley's.

Harry sits down and smiles at Hermione before continue eating his food before Mrs. Weasley immediately give Harry another plate as she finds him way too thin although Harry had the most food that he ever got in the summer at the Dursley's, still that wasn't much but more than normal at the Dursley's.

Hermione and Ginny couldn't wait for Harry to be done with his breakfast and as soon as they were done they went upstairs. Ginny came down within 5 minutes holding a red swimming trunk.

She asks "mom can you charm these to fit Harry?"

Mrs. Weasley nods and says " of course dear. Just give it to Harry after his next plate I will use the charm to fit it for Harry,"

Ginny give it to Harry. She says " here Harry I thought you like a red one. Hermione is already changing and I will go change now we come down in a little bit."

Harry just nods while accepting the swimming trunks trying to quickly finish his plate while also trying ways to convince Mrs. Weasley that he didn't need more food for breakfast. Fortunately, he just knows how to do it. He just needs to ask if he can get a picnic basket and hopefully Mrs. Weasley will focus more on enough food in the picnic basket than on him.

Harry is done and when Mrs. Weasley wants to grab his empty plate. Harry asks "Mrs. Weasley could you help me fill a picnic basket I think Hermione and Ginny want to spend the day at the pond."

Mrs. Weasley smiles and says "of course Harry dear, but wouldn't you like some more food before I will fill the picnic basket? You don't need to help me why don't you give me the swimming trunks. I will resize them for you and then you can go change and maybe bring something to the pond. I will make sure I have the picnic basket ready for you, Hermione and Ginny."

Harry assures he didn't need more food. Mrs. Weasley uses the charm to resize the swimming trunk before almost badgering him to go upstairs to change. Almost 5 minutes later he comes down and sees Hermione and Ginny in summer dresses what he likes although he would never admit it as he is afraid that it will ruin their friendship and he really likes what Ginny and Hermione were doing. He didn't know what it means but he will not change anything so that also means not tell or do things he didn't do before.

Hermione and Ginny are smiling what lights up the whole room and sees that Mrs. Weasley is adding a few more things to the picnic basket as he comes down. Harry wears the trunk and chose to wear one of his cousin's shirts that fit him the most with long sleeves. Hermione and Ginny didn't understand but decide to let it go as they didn't want to push Harry too much as that may mean Harry will not go with them to the pond.

Before they could leave Mrs. Weasley wants to put the sunscreen charm but Ginny shows her mother that she has sunscreen with her and that they first want to swim and will sure to apply the sunscreen when they will lunch. Mrs. Weasley doesn't want to but when Hermione promise she would make sure that Ginny and Harry apply the sunscreen Mrs. Weasley reluctantly agree while Ginny gently pushes Harry outside immediately followed by Hermione who closes the door.

18th August 1994, the pond, The Burrow grounds

It is almost 15 minutes later that Harry, Hermione and Ginny are walking to the pond. Hermione and Harry follow Ginny as she knows where it is. The pond is also near the edge but not near the big tree and almost on the opposite side of the tree. The pond is clearly seen if you know where it is although you cannot see it from the Burrow. A little further past the pond is a forest and about a little over a hundred yards is also part of the property from the Weasley's at least that is what Ginny's says.

Harry put the picnic basket down. Behind him, Hermione and Ginny lay down three large towels for them to lie on to sunbathe and dry if they are wet of the pond. However, when Harry turns around he is stunned as Hermione and Ginny had shed their sundress and he is amazed by the sight of two very beautiful girls in a two-piece bathing suit (bikini).

Hermione wears a black two-piece that is much stronger black colour than her soft black sundress. Ginny on the other hand wears a dark purple one.

He needs to stop staring he knows that but it is very hard. Harry doesn't see the large smile from Hermione and Ginny. He stops staring when they both jump in the pond and start relaxing as the pond have a nice temperature in the hot summer that it is.

While Ginny wants nothing more than have a shirtless Harry with them in the pond Hermione remembers there is more than just fun even though she also want a shirtless Harry with them. However, she promised to help Harry by teaching him to swim.

After a few minutes in the pond, Hermione manages to stop smiling as both she and Ginny saw Harry stare. Ginny is still having a large smile while Hermione stops smiling because she has an ordered minute and can stop smiling but unknowingly using one of the Occlumency skills. She uses it as she wants to help Harry more than anything especially as in this case it means a shirtless Harry. At least that is what she thought.

Hermione says "Harry come in the water is divine. Take off your shirt so I can help you."

Ginny smiles and stare wanting to see the muscles Luna mentioned carelessly when they were alone. Luna said not that she liked it or not but while they haven't been friends since Luna was nine Ginny never forget their youth and neither did Luna what means Luna also likes Harry a lot, not the boy-who-lived.

Harry says " I prefer to not take off my shirt. I think it is better to learn to swim with more clothes as you don't always be in only trunks when you need to swim."

Both Hermione and Ginny were disappointed although Hermione cannot refuse his sound logic. They will not push Harry as even Harry with a shirt in the pond is still a nice idea as they can still touch Harry and 'help him a lot'.

In the back of both Hermione and Ginny's mind, dark thought was going around if maybe Harry tries to keep something hidden especially when they both remember the pain they have felt in the summer but they know if they ask Harry he will never tell him as he is a very private person and barely ever talk about his relatives. They reluctantly decide to not act on it and push it down to enjoy the day at the pond.

Ginny thinks hoping Hermione somehow will hear her 'we must let it go for now. I don't want to but Harry will not say anything if we push. If we get closer he may eventually tell us more about his relatives or trust us more and then we can try to find out.'

Hermione hears Ginny and while she understands Ginny she doesn't want to. However, she will not ask or push Harry,

She thinks back 'I want to say it is reluctantly that I agree.'

When Hermione feels Ginny acceptance she knows for sure she wants to know more about the runes on the bracelet. She may ask Professor Babbling to look at the bracelet but she needs to ask Harry if he minds.

Ginny says "Hermione what do you think about care of magical creatures? I am not sure. I am still considering not taking it especially as I ... killed Hagrid's chickens in my first year."

Before Hermione can say anything Harry says " care of magical creatures is great. Also, I am sure Hagrid isn't mad at you or blame you."

Ginny asks " do you think I should take it?"

Harry nods and says "I think you will really like it. It is a very fun class especially with Hagrid as Professor."

Hermione says hotly "Harry is you speak about the care of magical creatures it is Professor Hagrid and the class is dangerous if you don't pay attention especially if you goof around or like Malfoy don't listen. You didn't see your blood."

Harry looks ashamed and says " I am sorry Hermione. Besides that, I think it is a useful class to follow Ginny."

Ginny says "alright. Harry can I borrow Hedwig tonight? I will ask Professor McGonagall if I can also follow the care of magical creature."

Harry says "you can. I am sure Hedwig will love to help you, she wants to do more. I am sure if I want to use her I could send you a letter every day and even then she still thinks I don't use her enough and dislike it. She was mad when Sirius send a letter and the bird waits for me to write a response before giving it to the bird to take it to Sirius and not use her."

It seems like Hedwig knew that her master talks about her as right after Harry said that she hoots and lands on his shoulder nips his ear hard almost drawing blood before bumping her head in affection to his head.

Harry says "yes Hedwig I love you too, but I thought it was better if that bird took it as a beautiful white owl like you will stand out especially if he is in a warm place."

Ginny smiles and says "I know we already got our book list but Mom will go to Diagon Alley when we go to the Quidditch World Cup to get the book and other supplies that are needed. I think Professor McGonagall have enough time to respond especially with Hedwig to let me know which book I may need."

Hedwig flies to Ginny's shoulder that is barely above water before she bumps her head in affection.

Hermione says "I just hope it isn't the same book Professor Hagrid wanted us to have at that is a creature and book in one."

Harry says "Hermione it is just Hagrid. You know that he only wants us that call him Professor when it is needed to call him Professor when you have a question about his class during class. Also, he only wants that from students that don't take his class serious, don't like him, don't like him because he is half-giant or he doesn't like them although he isn't as biased with points and detention as Snape. Malfoy is a great example that always needs to call him Professor Hagrid."

Harry immediately continues to not start the discussion by calling Hagrid and Snape Professors.

He says "If it is Ginny, just stroke the spine and it calms down enough for you to read it, but I advise you to keep stroking the spine while reading it and after you are done make sure you immediately put a bind on it like a belt or something so he can't bite you or any of your things."

Ginny nods as Hedwig flies to sit on a tree that is almost directly next to the pond before closing her eyes. Hedwig feels the bond with Harry is still strengthening. She doesn't know for sure but when Hedwig sometimes has the feeling she can see through Harry's eyes if she focuses. It is like Hedwig can look through Harry's eyes so Harry can look from her eyes as the magic from Harry connects them including the potion Daphne brew for Harry of course.

They stay in the water until they get hungry and it is time for lunch. Hermione says "you are doing great Harry. I am sure if we do it a little bit this afternoon and maybe one or two more days you won't drown like earlier especially as you almost have the breaststroke mastered. Maybe if we come here again tomorrow I can try to teach you the front crawl. It is a more difficult swimming style but you are faster than the breaststroke and you may need the speed. There are two others but I think you need those.

Harry reach the side and is the first one out of the water. Harry turns around and can only nod as he can't do anything more. He sees Hermione and Ginny also getting out of the pond. When he was in the pond he was that busy learning how to swim and not drown he forgot that both Hermione and Ginny wore a two-piece.

Harry knows that Hermione and Ginny are girls not like Ron that probably never noticed. Harry knows that they are good looking but seeing them now in their swims suits give a 'big' problem and sees that they are beyond good looking they are beautiful. He doesn't want to deny it but even if he tried he can't.

Ginny asks "Harry could you help me."

Harry as the gentlemen as he is helps Ginny up. Ginny counted on this. She can get out of the pond on her own so when Harry helps her up she pulls herself up what Harry didn't expect what makes Harry end on his back with Ginny on top of him in her bikini.

Hermione thinks 'why didn't I think of that.'

Hermione sees that Harry is now very uncomfortable and immediately pulls Ginny of Harry with a judging look in her eyes that Ginny notice. Ginny think she is mad at Harry but sees why Hermione gave her that look when she looks back at Harry.

Ginny says "I am sorry Harry. I just wanted to help so you didn't need to use much strength to help me."

Harry says clearly shocked and barely manage to say normally "it doesn't matter Ginny. I am fine and you are too so let just eat."

Harry didn't say that while he was uncomfortable he wouldn't mind happening it again he was just shocked and afraid of Ginny reaction especially if Ginny felt his reaction to both of them. He also doesn't mind if it happens with Hermione.

Hermione grabs three large towels out of the basket and Ginny spread the large picnic blanket Mrs. Weasley gave them on the ground. Hermione grabs three smaller towels that were also in the basket when she put the large three towels on the ground beside each other.

Hermione says "I want to enjoy the sun after lunch. We need to stay out the water for 30 minutes anyway."

Harry nods while Ginny nods and shows a large smile Harry didn't see. Hermione and Ginny take a seat across from Harry. They have lunch and while Hermione and Ginny were having a nice lunch Harry didn't. As they sat across from him every time he looks to the left Hermione will remain in his line of sight and he can't completely turn his head to the left as that would be weird. The same happens when he looks to the right but instead of Hermione Ginny will remain in his line of sight. If Harry looks straight ahead both Hermione and Ginny are in his line of sight.

None of those options would solve his problem so he tries to forget them being girls but within a second he knew that was never going to work now or ever again. He can't also look down for the chance the girls follow his gaze what would make them see his 'big' problem.

Harry solemnly eats his lunch. Hermione and Ginny notice this isn't the normal Harry but notice this is not the brooding Harry this is something else. They don't think Harry is sad but more uncomfortable. Hermione and Ginny gave each other look to not push Harry like the impulse thing Ginny did just before lunch.

The lunch is eaten in silence something Hermione and Ginny don't like especially as Harry is still looking down. Hermione and Ginny want to go sunbathing and the reason they didn't apply sunscreen is as they need someone to put sunscreen on their back and maybe more.

When the girls are done Hermione asks "Harry can you rub my back with sunscreen I don't want to burn?"

Harry looks up shocked and tries to see his best friend asking him for a favour. However, he could not just see his best friend but also a beautiful girl what makes him consider if this is really alright.

When Hermione sees Harry having an inner conflict and doesn't know how to respond she put her arm on his arm and says "please Harry for me."

With those words, Harry immediately agrees he would do it. Hermione feels guilty as she knows he will always help and feels like she manipulated him a bit while Harry doesn't deserve that. She couldn't stop however as she offered Ginny to start as Ginny was wondering if Harry will accept. Hermione assured her she could make it happen.

Hermione grabs the sunscreen to first apply it on her front before she gives it to Harry and walks a few steps to lie on one of the towels. Harry's hand shake but his whole body would shake if he didn't manage to suppress it. He stands next to Hermione and gets down on his knees. He starts to rub it on her back when Hermione says "thank you Harry that feels good. Oh, wait a second."

Harry wonders why when to his horror Hermione undid the strap on her back for her bikini top. If Hermione would have sat up her top would surely be loose on her as the bikini still has a strap around her neck but that is the only thing that would keep the bikini top on her.

Harry doesn't know what to do until Hermione says "come on Harry I don't want to get sunburns, they will hurt a lot."

Harry just did what is asked of him while being embarrassed and shocked while also feeling a bit happy. He tries to enjoy the sun and like every teenage boy enjoy touching a beautiful girl even though this is Hermione Granger, his best friend.

When he is done he looks behind him and sees that Ginny lies on the third towel leaving the towel in the middle open. Harry sees that Ginny looks at him. She undid her own bikini strap at her back and asks "Harry could you do my back too?"

Harry doesn't know what to do, but he thinks 'it is alright. Ginny is just a friend and Ron isn't her. He doesn't need to know I touched his younger sister while she is in a bikini."

Harry sheepishly says "sure."

After almost 15 minutes both Hermione and Ginny back and they even manage to get Harry also do the back of their legs are protected from the sun. Harry went to sit on the middle towel and start to apply sunscreen. Ginny immediately says "I can do you back for you Harry."

Harry says "that is not needed, Ginny. I just keep my shirt on otherwise I will burn even with sunscreen."

Harry is telling a lie but hopes Ginny doesn't see it. Ginny says "oh alright if you are sure."

Harry says "yes I am Ginny. Just enjoy the sun I can do my arms, legs and neck myself."

He almost feels Hermione's eyes staring into his back but decide to ignore it. He lies on his back after he is done and closes his eyes. He remains awake the whole time but uses this time to works on his Occlumency while enjoying the sun. Somehow he remains aware of his surroundings. He hears but also feels the girls turning around and that they were only half-awake most of the time when they switch for their back to their stomach or the other way around.

A couple of hours later Hermione stands up and walks towards Harry, but before she can say something Harry says "is something wrong, Hermione?"

Hermione a bit surprised says "no Harry but I thought maybe you want to try swimming again before we need to go back for dinner. If you master the breaststroke now, we can move onto the faster swimming style."

Harry nods and steps into the pond with Hermione when suddenly they are soaking wet. Ginny just jumped into the pond. She laughs at them as she sees the shocked face. It is a couple of seconds before also Harry and Hermione laugh.

Almost half an hour later Harry climbs out of the pond and this time Hermione manage to ask Harry first. He helps her out and they end up in a hug but instead of Hermione lying on top of Harry like with Ginny, they are still standing. Hermione helped Harry and hoped to end up like Harry on the ground like Ginny had but it is obvious Harry learned. He knows he needed a bit more power from Ginny but as he knew Hermione would help him so he used less power. After Hermione, Harry helps Ginny up and as he knows how much strength to use they end up standing close but nothing more.

They start to pack everything up after drying down how much they can without using magic and walk back. Hermione and Ginny need to make sure their sundresses aren't too wet as Mrs. Weasley will want them to take them off immediately to prevent them from getting sick and will go mental if when she sees the bikinis. If the sundresses aren't too wet but still wet enough the sundresses will get almost see-through or at least can make out what they wear underneath. In every way, if Mrs. Weasley finds out about the bikini's she will go mental.

18th August 1994, The Burrow

When they arrive back at the Burrow and walk in they see that Mrs. Weasley is working on dinner. Ginny looks at the clock and see her father is still at work. Percy's hand on the clock still works but it looks like every day it is less or moves slower.

Mrs. Weasley says "Ginny, Harry and Hermione did you have a nice day at the pond?"

Ginny smiles big and says "yes mom. Hermione and I will go take a shower before dinner. Is that alright?"

Mrs. Weasley nods and says "sure Ginny. Harry after the girls are done why don't you take a shower also. I will make sure dinner isn't ready before you all three have showered."

It is almost an hour later Harry came down and see Ginny and Hermione sitting just as Mrs. Weasley is finishing dinner. Hermione and Ginny are just smiling. Mrs. Weasley turns around as she says "Ginny gather your brothers and say dinner is ready."

Ginny is very happy and doesn't mind while normally she would just scream up the stairs before Mrs. Weasley scolds her for doing that and get them personally what she now does. Harry takes a seat and Mrs. Weasley asks "did you have a good shower?"

Harry smiles and says "yes thank you Mrs. Weasley."

Mrs. Weasley just smiles before turning around to grab some other things. The rest of the evening is uneventful.

Ginny writes the letter to Professor McGonagall after dinner that Hedwig more than happily will deliver. Ginny asks if she can also follow the care of magical creatures.

19th August 1994, 'Ron's bedroom', The Burrow

It is in the middle of the night and Harry is turning around and very sweaty. He is somewhere he never has seen before. He is on a graveyard and sees a statue with a cloak and a scythe, the Grim Reaper. Suddenly Harry is beside an old man and is walking up the stair in a very old and dusty manor. As they are walking up the stairs at the end of the hallway is a light in a room.

Harry hears some whispering voice but couldn't make out was is being said, but the old man has turned off his lantern. Suddenly it seems someone bows before a chair. It is Wormtail. Harry become furious but his Occlumency manage to suppress it as he isn't there. If he was there he is sure he couldn't have control his anger.

Wormtail says "Oh no, no, no my Lord Voldemort. I only meant... perhaps if we were to do it without the boy…."

Harry hears a cold voice that can turn blood into ice and knows it can only be Voldemort.

Voldemort says "NO! The boy is everything, it cannot be done without him and it WILL be done exactly as I say."

Suddenly a man Harry don't know appears. The man bows beside Wormtail and says "I will not disappoint you, my lord."

Voldemort says "good. First, gather our old comrades. Send them a sign."

Harry sees a snake slithering between him and the old man but the snake doesn't seem to notice him. The snake slithers into the room and gets on top of the chair when Harry hears the snake speak Parseltongue. He doesn't understand the snake will he could with Medusa and the snake Malfoy concurred.

Voldemort says "Nagini tells me the old caretaker is standing outside the door."

Wormtail isn't bowing anymore and has got out of his sight. Suddenly Wormtail stands in the doorway and looks at the old man. The old man looks terrified and keeps his hands up as he surrendered. Harry want to draw his wand but he hasn't got it with him. Harry thinks 'it is a dream, but why does it feel so real?'

Voldemort says "step aside Wormtail so I can give our guest a proper greeting."

Harry says the hand move and hears a loud spell is cast. Harry wakes up in a flash of panic.

Harry shot up in panic from the dream. He hears "Harry. Are you alright?"

He looks to the side and sees two blurs. One hands him his glasses and he puts his glasses on. He sees both Hermione and Ginny next to his bed.

Harry says "bad dream Hermione. Why are you two here?"

Ginny says "we kind of heard you all the way to our bedroom, but it looks like you didn't wake anybody else up."

Hermione asks "was it about You-Know-Who?"

Harry can lie but decide not to and tell her the truth.

Harry says "yes. I had a similar feeling this summer but this is the first time it is this clear. I have never seen that place before not even when I had the similar feeling earlier this summer.."

Hermione says "you need to write Sirius. You know Sirius will want to hear about this."

Harry says "no Hermione. What if Sirius comes back and gets caught because of this?"

Ginny asks "when was the last time you send Sirius a letter?"

Harry says "it was the day after I got the book list and the things I need for this year. There is one thing that wasn't on it before, that is dress robes. As I didn't know why I send him a letter if he knows why. I didn't get a letter back with why …. yet as he only sends Hedwig back with he was doing great where he is but also that he didn't need in even once at his time at Hogwarts. Remus wasn't there at the moment and he will ask him when he returns and send another letter."

Hermione says "it was also on my list but not on Ginny's list at least not required. It was put down as a possible so I think there is something that normally doesn't happen and is only for the fourth years and higher. Ginny can probably only come if a fourth year or higher invite her or you need to do something before someone under fourth-year can come."

Harry says "oh… alright. We will find out when we are at Hogwarts I guess."

Harry sees a clock and sees it is 3 am. He says "Hermione, Ginny if you both don't mind I will try to get some more sleep."

Hermione and Ginny look worried. Ginny says "Harry do you need us to stay here with you."

Harry blush and says "that is not needed, Ginny. I also don't want Mrs. Weasley to find out any of you stayed with me during the night. If she finds out she will go mental and I don't want to make her mad."

Hermione and Ginny nod as while they really want to they don't want to make Mrs. Weasley mad and they wondered if they could even sleep with Ron snoring so loudly the room almost shook.

Hermione says "alright Harry. I hope you sleep well for the rest of the night."

Hermione gave him a big hug and kiss him on his cheek. Ginny did the same immediately after Hermione. Harry have a large smile and barely managed to say "that you Hermione and Ginny. I think I will have great dreams now."

Hermione and Ginny are a bit shocked and happy with Harry response. Hermione can barely suppress the urge to slap his shoulder and call him a prat while giggling what is very unlike her and a kiss after that although she wouldn't mind if it turned into a snog although she never imagined Ginny being here while she snogs Harry on his bed although it was mostly snogging in her room one her bed not here.

Ginny on the other hand wants to side in his lap sideways making sure he get nice dreams by snogging him and then lie down hugging him while sleeping.

Hermione reluctantly walks to the door and gently drags Ginny along. When they are outside they both need to take a deep breath to get their hard beat and desire under control.

When they reach Ginny's bedroom and went inside, the moment the door closes Ginny says "Hermione, I am not sure if you felt the same when you were on Buckbeaks back flying but I think my magic went to connect with Harry again and felt a big spike of arousal. I could barely prevent sitting in his lap, kiss him and lying down with him on the bed. I want that but not with Ron in the room or that my mother can catch us not me …. no us."

Hermione decides not to question us even though if they share Harry she doesn't think she will ever be in the same bed when Harry and Ginny are snogging or more. She says "I feel it too my magic finding Harry. I also had a spike in arousal. I wanted to slap his shoulder and call him a prat for that cheeky answer, giggle and kiss him."

19th August 1994, The Burrow

Harry wakes up very rested despite his nightmare. He is considering what Hermione said about sending a letter to Sirius, but he isn't sure if that is a good idea for the chance Sirius will come back to England. Harry hopes that he somehow can catch Wormtail so he, Sirius and Remus can live together with his godfather and 'honourable' uncle. The only adults that care for him although he starts to like Professor McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey more as it looks like they care for him even if it is only a student or for Professor McGonagall as one of her house.

He notices the sun is barely up and grabs his training clothing and descend the stairs as quietly as he could. He reaches the living room without making too much noise and even evades the creaking step. He sees that nobody is awake yet. He didn't really expect it as Mr. Weasley came home late and Mrs. Weasley normally won't start breakfast this early but he knows it will not take long before Mrs. Weasley will be up.

He immediately went outside to start running. He decides to run to the pond and back a few times and to the orchard and Quidditch field before running a few times around the house. He does some push-ups, jumping jack and other training for his upper and lower body.

He went back and after a shower and breakfast, Mrs. Weasley asked Ron if he was busy with his homework. Ron said he did, but Ginny accidentally let slip he didn't do anything yet. Ron was again confined to his room and that he needs at least four classes of homework done before the Quidditch World Cup or he can't go. Ron gave Ginny a glare before he went upstairs. Ginny isn't afraid of Ron, but she feels a little guilty betraying Ron although the guilt disappears as she does it for Hermione and he has never been nice to her. He has only been barely civil to her but spending the time with Hermione and Harry makes up for any guilt that may linger.

Mrs. Weasley asked what the other plan to do. Hermione says "I thought about going to the pond again. I want to help Harry with some swimming lessons as he didn't have many he said."

Mrs. Weasley nods and says "I will make some food so you can spend the day at the pond."

Ron says "but mom I am sure Harry isn't done with his homework too."

Mrs. Weasley says "that doesn't matter. Harry, dear do you want to go to the pond?"

Harry gave a shy smile and says "yes, Hermione promised she would help me to learn to swim better and with the lake, at Hogwarts it is probably a good idea."

Ron whines "but mom….."

Hermione looks at anger at Ron and interrupts him "for your information Ronald, Harry has already finished all of his homework."

Ron looks surprised as while he has seen some Harry read some class books, but not all as most of the time he read a book from Sirius but he didn't try to find out which one as he doesn't care.

Mrs. Weasley looks at the twins and says "Fred and George you will go with your sister, Hermione and Harry to the pond. I won't take no for an answer. You two have spent enough days in your room and don't think I didn't hear the weird noises and the hard noises that almost sounded like something exploded."

Fred and George look at each other and one of them says "of course."

The other says "mom. Gred and I were."

The first one, Fred says "planning to"

George continues "spent the day"

Fred again "Outside. The pond"

George says "is a"

Together they say "great idea."

Mrs. Weasley smiles although she hates it when they do that. She says "great but first Fred and George I want you to see and degnome the garden if you see any gnomes that have returned in the night."

"Ronald you go to your room and I better see you working on your homework at lunch…"

Ron says "but mom I am not done eating….."

Mrs. Weasley angrily interrupts Ron and says "Ronald Bilius Weasley now or you won't get lunch again only one plate at dinner and I will talk your father about a fitting punished besides not going to the Quidditch World Cup."

Ron looks at Hermione almost pleading, what Mrs. Weasley notice, she shouts "NOW RONALD BILIUS WEASLEY AND DON'T YOU DARE ASK HERMIONE TO HELP YOU. YOU ARE GOING TO DO IT ON YOUR OWN. Maybe you can let her look if you are done and you have tried your best."

Ron stands up and races upstairs as he doesn't want to miss the Quidditch World Cup and hopes that his mom will allow him to let have Hermione take a look and hopes that she correct all his mistakes.

When Ron is out of side Mrs. Weasley says "Hermione and Ginny can you clear the table except for Harry's plate and put it in the sink before you go change in your swimsuits. Harry let me give you another plate with food before I will pack the picnic basket for you."

Harry tries to deny needing more but again Mrs. Weasley says 'nonsense, Harry."

When he had a plate Mrs. Weasley asks Ginny before she leaves "Ginny is the red swimming trunk that Harry used already dry? And is it still clean?"

Ginny says "I think so mom."

Mrs. Weasley asks "can you bring it here so I can look and again apply the resizing charm?"

Ginny smiles "sure mom. Wait for a second."

Barely two minutes she came back, give her mother the red swimming trunk and leave immediately to change herself.

19th August 1994, the pond, The Burrow grounds

Hermione is very nervous. She didn't pack a one-piece bathing suit although she has an old one at home that she barely fits as certain parts have grown the last two years. She trusts the twins that they wouldn't tell Mrs. Weasley about the two pieces but they are older than Harry and while childish at times she knows that they 'see' girls.

She hopes that they don't stare like Ron would probably too but also doesn't look at her like she doesn't want boys to see her …. well she only wants Harry to see her like that and think about her. She also hopes that the twins still see her as Hermione Granger, the so-called brightest witch of her age and generation that like books among other things and not just as a girl although she still find herself barely attractive even after Ginny reassured that night when she confirmed her feelings for Harry to Ginny.

Mrs. Weasley offers to put the sunscreen charm and this time Ginny and Hermione agree although they both notice Harry feeling happy she does it but also see the second Harry is sad. They both think as he liked while being embarrassed to put the sunscreen on them yesterday.

When they are at the pond. Ginny put down five big towels. Fred or is it George put down the picnic basket before the other push him into the pond. The one that gets pushed into the pond manage to grab the pusher and they both fall in the pond laughing heavily what makes Harry, Ginny and a nervous Hermione laughing with them.

Harry put spread the picnic blanket before laying it on the ground in the shade of the tree that Hedwig used to watch them the day before. Harry grabs the picnic basket and put it on the picnic blanket. Hermione is not shedding her sundress yet still feeling nervous while Ginny immediately sheds her sundress revealing her two-piece what shocked the twins when they see it.

One of them says "whoa it seems like little Ginnykins is growing up."

Ginny doesn't like being called ickle little Ginnykins and shows a fury in her eyes that scare the twins into silence for the first time ever. Ginny is furious that they call her that in front of Harry and her best friend Hermione especially as it is going well with Hermione and Harry. She also thinks Harry finally sees her as a beautiful girl not as a little girl or even worse a little sister as the twins just called her a childish name her brothers called her when she was younger well except Charlie and Bill. Percy and Ron never said that name but always treated her like she was still a child. She knows she not an adult yet but she certainly isn't a child anymore at least her father seems to understand that.

The twins break the tension by splashing water to Ginny as she stands at the edge of the pond. The water hits her and she immediately jumps in the water to fight back.

Ginny wears the same purple two-piece as yesterday. Harry looks at Hermione and sees she is still in the same sundress as yesterday and wonders if she also wears the same two-piece as yesterday. Harry does wear the same things as yesterday, the red swimming trunk and the best shirt he has from Dudley.

Harry wants to know and he gently asks "Hermione isn't it better if you put off the sundress if you still want to help me though?"

Hermione asks "I still want to help you Harry, but don't you want to rest as you had a nightmare?"

Harry just shrugs and says "I am not tired. We can start when you want."

Hermione suppresses a groan from annoyance. She hoped that Harry was a bit tired although he doesn't look like he is like he claims so she could gather her Gryffindor courage to shed her sundress and reveal she also wears a two-piece. While the twins made fun of Ginny they can look at her with different eyes as she isn't their sister although it sometimes felt like that the last two weeks. It not only makes her feel somehow even more nervous as if they see her in her two-piece it can change within a second but it also made her even want Ginny's plan of becoming her sister-wife with Harry as husband even more.

She gathers her Gryffindor courage together with Harry it makes her almost shed her sundress that very moment. The twins are playing and when she sees Ginny's eyes in her with a confident smile almost a minute later she gets enough courage to also pull off her sundress.

Harry tries not to stare but he can't and he sees she wears the same two-piece as yesterday. He sees Hermione lips moving but he doesn't hear her. Hermione looks at Harry and it takes Hermione almost screaming Harry's name to get his attention.

When Harry looks at Hermione's face he sees that she have a flush face what make him very embarrassed. After a moment he says while looking down "sorry Hermione. I was … uhhh distracted. What did you say?"

Hermione asks "do you want to practice now?"

Harry nods and he enters the pond. His entering the pond gets the attention of Fred and George. One of them whistles while the other says "well it seems that ickle little Ginnykins is not the only one who has been growing up."

The other says "right you are forge. Looking good there Hermione."

Hermione looks embarrassed to the ground. At the comment, Ginny immediately splashes the twins with water. Suddenly Ginny and the twins look is drawn to Harry. Ginny and Hermione feel Harry's magic as it searching their magic to protect them while the twins' eyes are drawn to Harry. The twins see the jealousy on Harry's face but before they can make a teasing remark the glare Harry give them is scaring them. They would swear that Harry's eyes glow for a second, but within a blink of an eye, it is gone. They both think it looked only like that as Harry's green eyes can give you that idea when they suddenly stare at you fuelled with anger.

While most girls love Harry's green eyes and swoon at it, it is a scary experience for boys when Harry glare at you and it likes if it glows as it looks like he looks through your soul and at any moment want to attack you.

Fred says "Hermione if you want we….."

Fred feels scared as Harry's eyes focus on him with complete anger.

George finishes Fred sentence "can help you helping Harry with swimming."

Hermione slides into the pond behind Harry. She says "uhhh…. Thank you George but I will ask if I need it or Harry need some more practise while I want to get out of the water."

The twins nod and start playing. While they find Hermione attractive in her two-piece they would not steal her from their 'honourable' brother Harry. Hermione is also more like a sister and will they like her they both know there will never be a romantic interest between (one of) them and her. They still care for her and care about her but just like with Ginny it is a brotherly feeling, they wonder when they will admit they are a couple, that Ginny wouldn't be heartbroken and who will win the galleons. Also, they have their eyes on two other girls.

The day continues without problem but the twins many times notice Harry keeping his eyes on them even when Hermione helps him swimming. They have a nice lunch. The twins make sure none of them sits close to Hermione and when they continued to tease Ginny the whole morning they also make sure to not sit too close to Ginny.

After lunch, Hermione and Ginny go sunbathing and apply some sunscreen and help each other with their back for the chance the spell of Mrs. Weasley has weakened or disappeared.

True to their words the twins help Harry with the front crawl but every time they get close to Harry they feel they need to watch out. Hermione keeps watching Harry's progress until she says "that is great Harry. I think you have also mastered that. I think now you can swim but I notice you need to stop to breathe, but there is a better way. Choose one side and every time you use the arm on that side you should be able to take a breath raising your head a little also I think that you need to improve treading water so you don't need to swim to stay afloat."

Harry nods and tries what Hermione suggest and it does help him. The next hour he does the front crawl with the breathing technic that the twins also try. The next two hours he treading the water until he is very tired while the twins are playing sometimes splashing so hard that the water hit the girls.

Harry climbs out of the pond and lies down on the middle towel and on his left side lies Hermione and Ginny while the other two are unoccupied as Fred and George are still in the pond. Almost half an hour later the twins decide to also leave the pool. First George leaves the pool with Fred unnecessary help. When Fred asks George to help George give him a hand, however, Fred pulls George into the pond and that went on for about half an hour before they both come out of the water on their own and lie down next to Harry.

They still have about an hour and a half or two hours left before they need to return. Ginny asks their brother to not tell their mother about Hermione's two-piece as she cannot decide for Hermione to own one especially as Hermione's mother bought it for her.

Ginny also asks if they would not tell their mother about her two-piece as she likes it a lot and better than the one-pieces she has especially as they become a bit tight as she has also grown a bit since she got the one-pieces in the summer before her first year.

19th August 1994, the twins' bedroom, the Burrow

After dinner, the twins ask if Harry can join them in their room. They already decided to not do the so-called twins speak as they need to be serious. The twins speak they use is to ease the tense situation and when they have fun, while this will be a tense situation they don't want Harry to think they try to make fun.

When they reach their room and get in Fred closes the door if Harry remembers correctly. George says "take a seat, Harry."

Harry takes a seat at one of the two chairs. The twins take a seat on their bed. Fred says "Harry we want to apologize for how we acted when we saw Hermione in a two-piece. It was quite a shock seeing Hermione in something like that while she normally never wears anything revealing in Hogwarts especially with the robes."

George says "together with Ginny in a two-piece we were surprised. And believe me, it was the first time in a very long time we are."

Fred continues "while we would not deny Hermione is attractive and she looks hot but we see her almost like a little sister."

Fred and George decided not to say that they will not try to steal his girlfriend as he is their 'honourable' brother and it was part of the bet they made meaning that they cannot put the idea of Hermione as his girlfriend in his head.

The only ones who can act on the bet are the girls although not to get him and Hermione together. The girls can try to get Harry themselves but only a very few betted Harry and Hermione didn't end up together. Everybody sane knows that they are meant for each other or like their sister best friend Luna who bet that Harry will have more than one girlfriend at the same time and that she and Hermione will certainly be part of it even that Ginny will also. They took the bet although it looks ridiculous especially as Hermione is a muggleborn and according to Katie, Angelina and Alicia when they brought it up said that is it illegal in the muggle world if they marry although a boy or girl while they are in a relationship isn't illegal but is just like in the wizarding world weird, frowned upon, bad and mostly end badly.

When they asked Luna she said "we will Fred and George Weasley. I don't know how much there are at the moment but when I know I will alter the bet. I need to go I was chasing a couple of Nargles they got one pair of my shoes again."

The twins still got her bet and knew if she was right they will lose at least 1000 galleons although she only betted one galleon. She never said more names but it looks like she knows more. They know they will try to find out who more according to her not that they believe it but it would be a fun idea to think about it.

Back out of the quick thought George says "we know there will never be any romantic interest between one of us and her. Also, we both like two other girls…. well, I like one and Freddie the other one. Isn't that right Freddie?"

Fred says "you can't be more right Georgie."

Harry asks "why are you telling me this?"

Fred says "well Harry Hermione is your …."

Harry interrupts Fred as he says "she isn't my girlfriend! Why does everyone think that?"

George says immediately "we don't say she is although we can understand as she is attractive and like Forge wanted to say your best friend. We made her feel nervous and maybe a bit embarrassed although she got nothing to be embarrassed for. Anyway, we saw that it made you mad and we thought we need to apologize to you."

Fred says "Gred is right. You are almost our real brother and is at least seen as an 'honourable' Weasley. We don't want you to be mad at us for making your best friend feel bad even though it was a compliment and we still see her as the Hermione we got to know. Most girls like to be complimented how she looks we thought Hermione does too, but we were obviously wrong."

Harry says "all right we are good if you also apologize to Hermione and if you think is needed Ginny as Ginny is a very good friend if not Hermione best friend."

The twins note that at the end Harry feels sad.

They give Harry at the same time a brotherly hug when they say at the same time "no worries Harry. You are still Hermione's best friend, Ginny is just a very good friend of her."

When they let go, Harry, they look and laugh before Fred says "we meant it Harry we only laugh."

George continues "that we said exactly the same."

Together they said "and the amount we have. It wasn't planned or anything."

Harry gave a small smile. Harry hopes the twins are right about him still being Hermione's best friend although he hopes that Ginny and Hermione are very good friends as he likes them both.

19th August 1994, The Burrow

Later the same evening when Hermione and Ginny were ready for bed and Harry said goodnight Hermione seems to be very happy and Ginny was happily smiling along. When Hermione and Ginny were moving to the room Harry looks at the twins in the living room and they both smile and give a nod. Harry nods back before also moving upstairs but he needs to walk the stairs to the top floor where Ron's bedroom is while Ginny and Hermione only need to go to the first floor where Ginny's bedroom is.

21st August 1994, The Burrow

The last two days Harry has continued running and doing muscle training. They went also to the pond yesterday but only stayed the morning to help Harry swim better and then came back to do what Hermione likes the most although Harry went flying with Ron. Ginny wants to fly to but Hermione offered her to already help with Arithmancy and Ancient Runes although she thinks Harry can help her better with Ancient Runes as it seems he is as good as it as he is good in defence against the dark arts.

Today has been an easy day mostly done reading. Ron has finally done some homework. Although it was bad and he only managed to finish one and is halfway done with the second homework. Mrs. Weasley let him off easy and only degnome the garden every morning until the Quidditch World Cup and if you do it every morning it mostly isn't many gnomes you need to remove.

It is just after dinner when there is a knock at the backdoor. Mrs. Weasley opens and when she opens it she says hard "oh Bill it is so good to see you again. Come in."

Bill walks into the kitchen and sees Mr. Weasley, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny sitting. Ron was still eating while Hermione and Ginny keep giving him disgusting looks. They would have left if Harry wasn't still eating. Mr. Weasley is drinking tea and talks with Hermione and Harry between his bites over muggle things.

The twins were already in their room but heard their mother's hard voice and immediately came downstairs to see their oldest brother. Mrs. Weasley gives Bill one of her crushing motherly hugs before saying that she will make something for him while he tries to tell her he already eat but Mrs. Weasley is adamant to make him something so he let it go. As expected Ginny stands up and ran to Bill and hug him while thanking him for the presents she got, but slaps his shoulder for the lightning bolt hairpin.

Bill laughs while letting her go. Went to his father and gives him a (manly) hug before giving his brothers the same. He walks to Harry and Hermione.

He asks "Harry Potter I presume? And that makes you Hermione Granger?"

He gives a guanine smile as he doesn't want to think he is mad or angry at them. Harry just says "yes, I am Harry."

Hermione admits she is Hermione Granger. Bill almost want to grab Harry up and hug him like he hugs his male family members. When he just says "I am William Weasley but I prefer Bill as you have heard. It is pleasure to meet you" he gets a huge smile from Ginny.

Mrs. Weasley made some sandwiches and asks Bill "Bill do you know when Charlie will be here?"

Bill says "I don't know but he sent me a letter that he will arrive here somewhere this evening or during the night. He will stay at the Leaky Cauldron for an evening if he is late and then come here. I don't expect him later than tomorrow morning."

It was like he called for Charlie because less than a minute later the floo in the living room turned green and a redhead walks out. He walks towards the kitchen and says "hey everyone."

Mrs. Weasley says "Charlie it is so good to see you again."

Charlie and Bill walk and give each other a hard brotherly hug. After that, he greets everyone besides Harry and Hermione. He takes a seat directly across from Harry. He gave a hard sigh. Mr. Weasley asks "just had a hard day at work?"

Charlie says "no not really. The dragon reserve was as quiet as possible just need to check on the dragon as some are starting to build a nest so we suspect we got a couple of dragons that will get younglings. I am not tired because of that I am tired to get here. When I went to the Romanian ministry it was pure chaos especially when I went to the place where international portkey's leave. There was an enormous line and many that try to cut in line wherever they could."

"Fortunately, I am lucky as an English native I could pass the line and there was a spot on the first Portkey that was leaving otherwise I probably wouldn't be here before tomorrow afternoon. You should have heard all the words that were thrown at me. I think if there weren't a lot of Romanian Aurors I need to dodge curses to reach the portkey if not worse."

Bill said next to him as says "yeah I can understand certainly understand as what I heard about others who want to come to England for the World Cup, fortunately, I could use a portkey from Gringotts Cairo to the Gringotts in Diagon Alley. Not that there were many others but I got priority even above the goblins that were waiting as I make money for Gringotts."

"I am hired by the ministry to improve the wards and anything else that has to do with wards mostly about preventing muggles from finding out. If I understand correctly protection, allow portkeys and who can apparate in and out is the ministry of Magic responsibility although I am hired to advise on the protection and strength of the wards."

"I have no responsibility with allowing portkeys from who or how many. I also got no responsibility for who can apparate in and out. I can give advice but anything more is their problem. Gringotts get paid a nice price for a curse breaker with the knowledge of wards and can cast wards but is also an English native. If I do good work I can get a nice bonus."

After Mrs. Weasley also made a plate for Charlie both Bill and Charlie ate it as they do like their mother food and could eat something but weren't hungry. Harry, Hermione and Ginny ask to be excused. Mrs. Weasley allows them. Ron doesn't ask but follows Harry, Hermione and Ginny to the living room.

All of them start to grab a book. Hermione and Ginny grab a textbook, Ron grabs one of his books about the Chudley Cannons he has read already a million times. Harry decides to grab a book that Sirius has to send him. He reads the book about combative magic. Harry hasn't read in it before as he was focused on Occlumency, knowing Legilimency tricks and as he isn't allowed to use magic he has read the martial arts books that help him with training in the morning after he runs what he has been doing the whole summer.

He feels a pinch and it draws blood before the feeling stops. Harry looks at his hand but doesn't see any blood. Harry doesn't think much about it and opens the book. The first thing Harry sees is the name of the maker. The name states Charles Henry Potter, Harry wonders if Charles Henry Potter was from House Potter and maybe even one of his ancestors.

He does also wonder how Sirius gave him a book written by Charles Potter as he remembers he hasn't seen this book in Flourish and Blotts last summer when he was considering taking Ancient Runes and Arithmancy as he was looking for books mostly to protect himself and take out Sirius if he found him when he still thought Sirius had escaped to kill him.

Let's end here for now. In the next chapter, Bill and Charlie will talk to Harry and Harry will explain why he hasn't worn the dragon hide jacket he got from Charlie last year for the people had noticed that he didn't wear it (I especially never said he did although he like it). Also in the next chapter, we go to the Quidditch World Cup. I can already tell you that it would be different from the canon.
