Chapter 44: One X, Part 2
In another street, Koi was walking back to Midori Park.
"I sure hope they're still there…" Koi said as Living Things emerged. "It's been a while since I have used Living Things, so let's see what I can do in this situation…"
Koi then sees a lady walking by.
"Excuse me, ma'am. Gotta be somewhere." Koi said.
"Ok?" She said, confused.
Koi then sees something glowing. The lady then picked it up and saw that it was One X.
"Oh shit!" Koi said as he ran away.
Koi then ran near an alleyway. He was huffing and puffing.
"That artifact…" Koi said. "It's gonna affect that lady… Gotta stop this whole thing…"
Koi looks up and sees a hawk flying to the same direction Koi was using to go to Midori Park.
"Huh, maybe I should follow the bird." Koi said as he started to peep towards the alleyway to see someone in the distance, who was Milo Xiloto and looked away. "Ok! Maybe not! Is that the same businessman that killed Mr. Nishikawa?!"
Koi took a look again. Milo started to turn his attention to what's behind him and saw nothing.
"Hmm? Is someone there? Maybe not." Milo said as he looked at Tamago flying in the sky. "Looks like his pet hawk is still healthy and ready to kill…"
Milo then looks at Jordin ending the fight against Susumu.
"Already done, eh?" Milo said as he got out a walky-talky. "Hey, the fight is done. Get your bird to finish off Susumu."
Koi was breathing heavily.
"Shit! Did he see me?!" Koi said. "I think he saw me! Ok, calm down Koi! Just calm your ass down!"
Koi then sees another businessman walking by.
"Are you alright, young man?" He asked Koi.
"Y-Yes! I'm fine!" Koi replied. "Thanks for asking."
As soon as the businessman walks by Koi, Koi then uses Living Things to turn the Stand into the same businessman that Koi was talking to before.
"Ok, Living Things, check on that businessman in blue." Koi said.
Living Things as the businessman then walks over to the alleyway where Milo was spying on Susumu.
"Excuse me, sir?" He said.
"Hmm?" Milo wonders as he turns around to see the other businessman. "Can I help you?"
"Yes… Uh… Do you have a name?"
"My name is Milo, and why are you here? Can't you see I'm busy with something important?"
"What is that?"
"Don't make me force you to leave."
"Sorry, I was just wondering…"
As soon as the businessman slowly walked away, Milo turned back.
"You're wasting my time." Milo said as Coldplay emerged. "And now I'll make sure to waste your time as well!"
The businessman turned around to see Coldplay.
"Oh!" He shouted as he started to become a decoy. Living Things then ran back.
"Huh?" Milo said as he saw what just happened. "Huh… Looks like someone used their Stand to try and get my attention? I will worry about that once Susumu is exterminated!"
Living Things then appeared next to Koi and was recalled.
"Ok! I'm gonna go take a shortcut to get to Midori Park faster!" Koi shouted. "At least I have what I have!"
Koi was then stopped by the same businessman he was talking to, but his eyes were glowing green.
"GAAAAAH!" Koi shouted in fear.
Milo heard the screaming.
"Hmph, looks like he's getting what he deserved…" Milo said. "For trying to spy on my ass…"
Koi then quickly ran away from the businessman. As soon as he ran away, he saw Tamago attacking Jordin and his allies, but soon Hybrid Theory punched away Tamago. Tamago then flew away.
"Here I am! I'm back in Midori Park, finally!" Koi said. "And that bird flew away just in time!"
In Midori Park, Susumu took a deep breath and gave Jordin and Jocelyn a serious look.
"Now then, I suppose we'll be able to roll back and see what's next for our plan to take down Milo and avenge our parents…" Susumu said.
"That could work, I guess…" Jordin said.
Then they all saw Koi running towards them.
"Koi?" Jordin said.
"Guys! Hatsuki and Yoshiro are under attack!" Koi shouted. "Some weird artifact Daichi and Reiko looked at were being mind controlled by it and now they are fighting back!"
"Another Stand attack? Good gracious, how many of them are there to try and kill us?"
"But that is not all! I used Living Things to find someone, who was the businessman in blue! Apparently his name was-"
"-Milo Xiloto." Susumu said. "I know that name as well… But thanks for keeping us updated and keeping an eye on us…"
"You're welcome, I guess?"
"Anyways, Koi, take us to that location to where Hatsuki and Yoshiro are being attacked!"
Milo was watching the conversation and saw them leaving Midori Park. He was on the walky-talky with someone again.
"They are leaving!" Milo shouted. "Tamago needs to rip Susumu up!"
"B-But, Mr. Xiloto… What about Tamago's Stand?" Someone from the walky-talky said.
"Just wait until the time comes! We need to take down Susumu first and then take down those that tried to mess with me!"
