A/N Hey, everyone. Welcome back to more of You Can Come To Me series focusing on Peter and MJ from Spider-Man Homecoming, Far From Home, and the upcoming movie No Way Home. So first off, I hope you guys are staying safe out there, getting vaccinated, and waiting to receive the second dose of the vaccine. Second, I want to apologize to you guys for not updating because college's been a nightmare and I finally wrapped up my final semester, which means that I can make time to continue writing this story as well as my other projects that I'm currently working on. And third, this forty-fourth chapter is a special chapter, dedicated to the 4th of May, which is the Star Wars day, obviously. In this chapter, Peter, MJ, Ned, and Betty get together to watch all of the Star Wars movies in timeline order, starting with the prequel trilogy. Anyway, this is the forty-fourth chapter, and let's get to it.

All of the characters belong to Marvel, but I'm just borrowing them.

Chapter 44: The 4th of May

In modern day New York, all of the residents were going on with their day and buying DVDs because today was the 4th of May, which means is the Star Wars celebration day. During the 4th of May, everyone would watch all of the movies in the timeline order, starting with the prequel trilogy, beginning it with Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Peter Parker, known as the New York's hero Spider-Man, is one of the huge fans of the Star Wars franchise, including his best friend and guy in the chair, Ned Leeds.

One day in Midtown High, while Peter was getting ready for the weekend, Ned comes up to him with exciting news.

"Dude, guess what day it is?" asked Ned.

"It's Star Wars celebration day. I know that already," Peter replied.

"So, do you have plans for today?" asked Ned.

"You want to come over at my apartment to watch the movies? I can invite MJ and Betty to join us on the fun day," Peter replied.

"That would be amazing. We can explain to them why everyone is celebrating the Star Wars day every year," Ned agreed.

Just then, MJ walks up to the two best friends.

"What up, dorks?" she asked.

"Hey. Nothing much. But we're doing good. We were just talking about one special occasion event that is today," Peter replied simply.

"Which is?" asked MJ.

"The fourth of May. Also known as the Star Wars day," Ned replied.

"Do you want to come over to my apartment later today to watch the Star Wars movie series with me and Ned? I can invite Betty to join us on the fun too," Peter offered.

"Thanks, but I'm not a Star Wars fan like everybody else here," said MJ.

"Come on, MJ. It won't hurt for you to join both of us in on the whole Star Wars celebration day discussion," said Ned.

"Fine. But don't come telling me that I said I told you so," said MJ.

"You won't regret it MJ," said Peter.

At the end of the school day, Peter packed all of his assigned homework in his backpack before he closed his locker and went to find Ned.

"Dude, you ready to go?" asked Peter.

"All set. Let's go," Ned replied.

Peter and Ned left Midtown High and went to Peter's apartment to get everything ready for the Star Wars movie series marathon.

"Hey, May!" Peter called as he and Ned stepped in and took off their shoes.

"Hey! How was school today?" asked May.

"It was okay. I'm gonna do my homework later," Peter replied.

"Hey, Ned! So nice to see you again," said May.

"Thanks, Miss Parker. We're having guests over to watch the Star Wars movie marathon later," said Ned.

"Oh, yeah, today's the Star Wars celebration day. I totally forgot about that," said May.

"I'm gonna clean up for a bit and get ready for the movie marathon," said Peter.

Fifteen minutes later, after cleaning up the apartment, Peter heard the sound of the doorbell ringing before he walked to the front door and unlocked it and there stood MJ and Betty.

"You guys made it," said Peter.

"MJ, Betty! It's so nice to see you guys again," said May.

"Hi Ms. Parker," Betty greeted.

"Is everything ready for our movie marathon?" asked MJ.

"Yep, the DVDs are all set up. And the popcorn and the drinks are ready," Peter replied.

Peter puts the disc on the player and pressed the close button.

"What movie are we watching first?" asked Betty.

"Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It's the beginning of the prequel trilogy and it takes place before the original trilogy," Ned replied.

"Cool," said Betty.

Peter sat down beside MJ on the couch while Ned sat down beside Betty on the floor.

"The movie's about to start," said Peter.

The movie started with a text A long time ago, in a galaxy, far, far away... before the opening crawl sequence. MJ grabbed and ate some popcorn as she shifted her attention to the TV screen at the same time.

Two hours later, after the first movie ended, the group moves on the next movie, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

"I think this has been the best celebration day I've had so far," said MJ.

"Me too. This is like the first time that I'm watching the space opera movie like the Star Wars movie franchise," Betty agreed.

After the second movie, they move on to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the final movie in the prequel trilogy. As the movie gets more suspenseful, MJ realizes what was happening. She then discovered that she did like the Star Wars movie franchise after all after watching the first two movies.

As six hours as passed, the group ended falling asleep after watching Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Peter was the first to wake up before he realized it was nighttime.

"Hey, guys. It's night time," he called.

Ned was the next one to wake up as he felt drowsy in his eyes.

"How long had we been asleep?" asked Ned.

"We fell asleep after watching the third movie in the franchise," Peter replied.

"I think we should call it a night. We can continue it tomorrow," said Betty.

"That's a good idea. This calls for a sleepover," Ned agreed.

"Let's go to sleep. I'm so tired from today," said Peter as he yawned.

Soon after, the group goes back to sleep after a long day at school and spending the next few hours watching the three Star Wars movie marathon.

And that will be the end of the forty-fourth chapter for today. So what did you guys think of it so far? Love it? Hate it? This idea came to my mind since I knew the fourth of May would be approaching soon and I thought about writing a chapter on celebrating the Star Wars day that happens every year. If you guys haven't checked out my Runaways project, I do suggest that you check it out and let me know what you think. Is anybody feeling anxious on when Spider-Man No Way Home trailer will drop? Because I am. Jacob Batalon lost some weight during the production of Spider-Man No Way Home and I was really surprised by it. But anyway, more chapters are coming soon and hopefully I can get some love and support for my Runaways project. But if I don't, then it means I wrote and published it for nothing. Anyway, that's the end of the rant for today. Continue to stay safe out there, make sure you get your first dose of the vaccine, and drink lots of water every day to stay hydrated. May the Fourth be with you. Always.
