Pouring rain had swept through Royal Woods as if a a typhoon or a hurricane had swept through the whole city. it only felt like it however, and if it actually was a hurricane or a typhoon, then there would be a state of emergency in the city.

For now, Leni was watching some TV, the weather Channel to be exact, and the reporter said: "well, it is going to be pouring here all day with all these incoming clouds on the radar.

Leni was sure bummed to hear those words from the TV screen. She absolutely loved the sunshine and nice weather outside. she sighed while having her hands under her chin. One question on her mind was: "do superheroes fight in the rain? even if it gets their hair wet? do they wesr raincoats?"

She didn't know if she can fight crime out here in the rain with all that pouring rain.

Lincoln noticed her sitting on the couch looking bored and he sat next to her. "You OK, Leni?" he asked her

"Just fine, Lincoln." Leni sighed. "Can a superhero fight in the rain?"

"Absolutely!" Lincoln said. "Ace Savvy and One-eyed Jack fought the evil villain, Snake Eyes out in the rain before, trying to stop him from turning everyone into snake people."

"Well, i don't know if I want to fight bad guys in the rain. what if I catch a cold? and what if it ruins my hair?"

"Oh Leni," Lincoln smirked. "You are a superhero that everyone here loves." he put his right hand on her shoulder. "You should remember what's more important, your hair, or the lives of everyone else."

"I... do love everyone around me, except for those bad guy meanies."

"Yeah! you are a golden-hearted girl." Lincoln said. "so you shouldn't have to worry about the weather. what matters is on the inside."

"Yeah! you're right." Leni sounded more confident in herself. She realized that what Lincoln said is absolutely true. True beauty comes from within and not from outward. "Sorry for thinking like this."

"Nah, don't worry about it. And, there is a bright side."

"What's that?"

"More water would equal more growth for the plants and trees outside. You might even get more plant friends that will look up to you as their loving mother that loves them with all her heart."

Thinking deep down in her train of thought, Leni realized that her little brother was right. After all, sunlight wasn't the only thing that plants need to always rely on to stay healthy, most do need water to keep themselves alive and healthy. Perhaps when this heavy rain blows over, the plants outside will be healthier and better than ever before. "Yeah. I guess that's true."

"So if the crime alert goes off, will you answer it?"

"Totally! I will totes answer the call when anyone needs me. But I don't hear anything."

"Can't expect a crime to happen when you know it, Leni." Lincoln said. "It could happen in a minute, or maybe an hour or two. Just always be ready."

"I will, Lincoln!" Leni exclaimed boldly and proudly. "But, for now, I should call Chaz and get him to come over here if he's not totes busy." she picked up her cellphone and called her loving boyfriend for him to come over and spend some time with her adorable girlfriend. "Hey Chaz, I hope i'm not talking to you at a terrible time."

"Nah Leni." Chaz replied. "With you, there's never a wrong time to talk you you." he gave her a smoochy sound on the other line. "So, what's up?"

"I was wondering if you would like to come over and spend some time with me, and look at the plants I created with my powers. They are the cutest little babies ever!"

"Ooh, that sounds cool. Sure, I'll come over and i'll give you my best hugs and kisses that we love to do, baby. Just don't miss me too much."

"Oh Chaz." Leni blushed. "You are as sweet as ice cream. See you in a bit."

"Bye Leni." he gave her another air kiss before hanging up.

Leni was really lucky to have a nice boyfriend like him, and she is always happy to hang out with Chaz. "Ooh! Leni, look, they're talking about you on the news!" Lincoln pointed the television to her. The blonde girl gasped and looked to see the fight between her and the Screaming Eagle from before. Photos, and videos of how Leni was fighting him and pounding this new teenage villain with her plants and her hand-to-hand combat skills.

"Yet another great accomplishment by Poison Ivy Leni." said the male reporter. "She managed to stop a bird villain kid from robbing the most secured bank in all of Michigan. Footage from both witnesses and the security cameras have captured some moments, especially a kiss of death from Leni to subdue this freak."

The plant girl flushed and she really hated to think of that moment. Just looking at the shot of her kissing Kyle to subdue him made her want to wash her mouth with mouthwash and hot water again. It even made her want to throw up in pure disgust. A sudden thought had come to her when she did that non-fatal, poisonous kiss. Chaz probably has seen it on the news, and she hoped that he wouldn't think she was cheating on him. No, Leni would never cheat on her boyfriend like this. "Oh no. Chaz!"

"What about him?"

"What if he finds out about that? Lincoln, I will be dumped if he found out."

"Come on." Lincoln doubted. "He would understand why you did that. It was either us, or him. And, I might not know him as you do, but he is a very understanding guy from what i've seen, and just explain to him why you would do something like that. After all, that Screaming Eagle guy was a maniac!"

"Totes a psycho." Leni agreed with him.

"And of course," said the male reporter. "We should also give praise to the newest hero, Water Boy for helping Leni with his heroic and masculine punches and waves of water against this masked villain. Both of them are equal amount to heroes." The TV showed how Frankie was fighting off Screaming Eagle, and how he flung the teen to a wall, breaking it, and trapping him in the water wheel technique that he seemed to be getting the hang of than before. "As a matter of fact, here is Water Boy in the studio right now to talk about the events that happened yesterday."

The camera on the TV turned to reveal the water hero himself. "W'sup, dudes?"

"So Water Boy, thank you so much for coming." said a female reporter. "Tell me, what was the chaotic event like?"

"As crazy as a shootout between cowboys in a small desert town." Frankie replied. "But luckily, me and Leni took down the Screaming Eagle. He was a little dangerous, but with our combined elements of teamwork, we took down the kid for trying to rob the bank as blind as a bat."

"Have you anything to say about the kiss?" the reporter asked

"Kind of a rude question to ask, but Leni did it because she had to." Frankie revealed. "She had this power to poison anyone she kissed on the lips. She didn't hold it long enough to kill him. She would never kill anyone. Besides, I kinda hit him harder than Leni did. But hey, we took him down together as friends. Oh! And Lincoln held his ground too. It was either me, Leni, and Lincoln, or the Screaming Eagle. In the end, there can only be one, as I'd heard."

Leni smiled gratefully at how much of a good friend an ego maniac like Frankie was.

"But before we go, I would like to show off my sweet muscles on TV. Just look at these muscles and abs on me. Huh!" he began flexing and kissing his arms, grossing Lincoln and Leni out a little.
