Chapter 45: One X, Part 3

Hatsuki and Yoshiro, meanwhile, were surrounded by a few more people under One X's control.

"Great! There's now 10 of them!" Hatsuki shouted. "2 of them are Daichi and Reiko!"

"Yeah no shit!" Yoshiro shouted. "We're screwed now!"

"But the real problem is that artifact that's a Stand and its User! Where are they at?!"

The User of One X continues to watch it.

"One X's mind controlling has reached its limit." He said. "Looks like I'm gonna win this one no problem."

Meanwhile, Jordin and his allies were walking back to the spot where Daichi and Reiko were caught under One X's control.

"Does that artifact you're talking about teleport?" Jordin asked.

"Maybe it does." Koi replied. "If not, then the User must have had it in his or her possessions…"

Then, Jordin sees something glowing in the bushes.

"What's that?" Jordin wonders as he walks towards what was glowing in the bushes. "Oh shit!"

Jordin then steps back.

"Am I good?!" Jordin said. "I think I'm good…"

Koi then runs over to him.

"Jordin! What was that?!" Koi said. "Was it the artifact?"

"Maybe! What did it look like from your point of view?" Jordin asked.

"It looks like a feline-like animal holding a sphere." Koi replied.

"Yes! That's the same one I just saw in the bushes!"

Susumu then looks up to see Tamago and gasps.

"Everyone! That hawk found us!" Susumu shouted.

While that was happening, the User for One X saw the hawk as well.

"The hawk!" He said. "That must have been the pet to one of those bad guys Milo has teamed up with… Guess I gotta let go of one of the people under control… Let's see…"

Back to Hatsuki and Yoshiro, they saw Reiko being free from the control of One X. She then fall to the ground.

"Reiko!" Hatsuki shouted.

"Let's get these people out of our way!" Yoshiro shouted.

Global Warming then spawned a heat wave to surround Yoshiro.

"You might want to step back if you want to stay cool." Yoshiro said to Hatsuki.

Hatsuki then ran over to Reiko where it was cool. The people under One X's control weren't affected by Global Warming's heat wave.

"No effect?" Yoshiro said. "No problem."

One of them then attacked Yoshiro, but Global Warming punched them in the gut.

"Come get me, damn it!" Yoshiro shouted.

Hatsuki then picked up Reiko.

"Reiko! You good?" Hatsuki said.

"Uhhh… Yes… What the hell happened?" Reiko wonders.

"Long story short, we were attacked by an enemy Stand, so stay away from the crowd, because I'm gonna help Yoshiro."

"Uhhh… Ok?"

Back to Jordin and his allies going up against Tamago again, the User of One X then thinks of something while he stares at his Stand.

"Hrgh… With that girl out of your control, how are we gonna get that hawk under our control to take on Milo?" He said. "Hmm…"

The User then got up.

"Now I know what to do." He said with a smile. "Let's see if it works!"

Tamago then swoop down to attack, but everyone missed their attack.

"Tamago really wants you dead!" Jocelyn shouted.

"He does!" Susumu shouted. "But if he does attack me, then I must accept my demise!"

"Why that route?!" Jordin shouted.

"First off, Tamago was trained to find someone that did a bad thing through a special type of wind." Susumu replied. "A wind that makes one's emotion go into action whenever something happens!"

Tamago then looks at Susumu with its eyes being cold and deadly. It swooped down again to attack, only this time killing Susumu.

"SUSUMU!" Jordin shouted.

Tamago then ripped out Susumu's heart and crushed it. Susumu was then laid lifeless on the ground, dead. As soon as Tamago flew away, One X landed on its back, lowering him down to the ground.

"That artifact! Koi shouted as he quickly grabbed it without looking at its eyes.

Tamago then screeched at Koi and flew away.

"Susumu…" Jordin said. "Tch… Damn it… Lost another family member…"

Jordin then looks at Koi with One X in his hands. The User of One X was hiding near a bush.

"He got it!" He shouted. "He totally got it! Who cares about that stupid bird! That black-haired boy is mine!"

Koi then lay it down on the ground.

"What's he doing with it?!" The User shouted. "He laid it safely on the ground?!"

Hybrid Theory then appeared next to Jordin. Hybrid Theory then punched One X. The User took damage from that punch.

"GAAH! No! It's not even durable!" He shouted. "Every time he's gonna punch it, one of the people under One X's control will break free!"

Hybrid Theory continued to punch One X.

"ORIYAAAAAAAH!" It shouted.

After one last punch, it teleported away. Jordin then sees the User slowly crawling out of the bushes.

"Ah! There he is!" Jordin shouted.

Jordin, Jocelyn and Koi then walks over to the User of One X.

"Gah! H-Hey! Please don't hurt me!" The User shouted.

"We're not gonna hurt you until you tell us everything!" Jordin shouted. "Starting now!"

"Ok! Ok!"

The User slowly gets up.

"My name is Akihiro Yamamoto." He said. "I am an 8th Grader at Tokyo Middle School and the User to this artifact as my Stand, One X. I wanted to use my Stand to control you guys for one reason… To get revenge on Milo!"

"Yamamoto?" Koi said.

"Oh, you guys know about Doku Yamamoto? The one that Milo forced him to do your dirty work? And was killed by your friend for a good reason? He's my big brother… I'm sad that he's gone, but it's for the good of his insanity that Milo gifted him…"

"Wasn't he the one with the Stand that turns him into a Snake?" Jocelyn asked.

"Y-Yes! Yes! Snake-Eyed Sissy was his Stand! I wanted to control a maximum of 10 people and use them on Milo to take revenge, but… That's not gonna happen… Because something is about to happen later on..."

"What is happening?"

"Some sort of marching parade… I don't know what's the parade like, but I heard that it's gonna be a terrible one."

"Wow… An evil parade? Never thought of that…"

"Listen… Is that all for me to do? I'm sorry for what I have done!"

Jordin sighed.

"Alright… You're on the same boat as us, it seems… We forgive you… Now, get the hell out of here." He said to Akihiro.

"Y-Yes! I'll be on my way!" Akihiro said as he then ran away.

"What a kid…" Koi said. "All for revenge… Now we gotta worry about a parade, but he never told us when that parade is happening…"

Meanwhile, Daichi was on the ground until he opened his eyes to see Yoshiro.

"You good?" Yoshiro asked.

"Y-Yeah…" Daichi replied as he got up. "The hell just happened? It felt like someone was controlling me…"

"Long story short, we were attacked by a Stand." Hatsuki replied.

"Oh… I see…"

They saw Jordin, Jocelyn and Koi in the distance.

"There they are!" Hatsuki shouted. "You three are alright?!"

"Yep. That User of that artifact attacked us as well." Koi said. "And now he told us something about a parade happening."

"A parade? When is that?" Reiko asked.

"We don't know when." Jocelyn replied. "He never told us when. And the parade he mentioned was gonna be an evil one or something…"

"So we best be prepared then before the fight against this businessman in blue, huh?" Yoshiro asked.

"Actually, his name is Milo." Koi replied. "So, yeah… We best be prepared…"
