Disclaimer: Yu-Gi-Oh and all of it's characters belong to Takahashi Kazuki-sama. I only own the prompts and the one-shots.
Prompt #45: Monsters. Rating: T for some swearing and blood mention
Critias rushed through the forest, pausing every once in a while to sniff the air. He growled and followed the scent he had picked up, his claws digging into the dirt as he ran. His normally blue eyes glowed a bright gold in the dim light of the night, allowing him to easily see in the dark forest. I know you're out here Zigfried…. I can smell you….. he thought, pausing to catch his breath. He looked around and sniffed again, then took off towards the clearing he knew was nearby.
When he got there he found what he had been looking for. Sitting in the center of the clearing was another man in aristocratic victorian-style clothing, his long amaranth pink hair partially obscuring what he was doing. There was a third man, but he was laying on the ground and the second man had bitten his neck, drinking his blood. The pink-haired male paused and dropped the body, slowly standing and wiping the blood from his mouth.
"I vas vondering vhen you vould get here, liebe…" he said, turning to face Critias, his reddish-aqua eyes locking with Critias' gold ones. Critias growled slightly. "You knew I was coming Zigfried….. I could fucking smell the blood from about 10 miles away….." he said, walking towards the vampire. Zigfried didn't move, watching the other male approach and circle him. "You verevolves alvays exaggerate zhings….. I doubt you could've smelt zhe blood zhat far avay…" he said, giving a small smile.
Critias growled, but it wasn't a threatening growl. "You damn vampires think you're so much better than the rest of us fucking monsters….." he said, stopping right in front of the vampire and leaning down a bit so they were face to face. Zigfried smiled and reached up, scratching behind one of the blonde's ears. "Liebe, you know zhat I do not zhink such zhings… ve vampires are a naturally aristocratic race….. zhere's no need for such hostility and language…." he said, chuckling.
Critias huffed, but leaned into the touch as his tail wagged a bit. Many would look down on their relationship if they knew about it, what with Zigfried being from an aristocratic species and werewolves being considered among one of the lowest species of creatures. He didn't care though. Despite their differences, he did care about the vampire in front of his and didn't mind when said vampire occasionally treated him like a pet. After all, he was the vampire's guard "dog".
