Peter's POV
We all look at Daisy and Delilah. They stare in disbelief at the board we all stay quiet. Then we all look at the bulletin board some more I find a picture of Abby with then look at the label underneath it says "Abby Ellis; Willow's final test." I didn't have time to think about what it could mean because Abby started to stir. We decide it's best if we leave. We sneak out and everyone goes home; I take home Abby. I knock on the door to find a distressed Mrs. Elis and Aunt May.
"Oh my god." Mrs. Elis says her hands going over her mouth.
"I'm sorry." Is all I can manage to say.
"Is she dead?" Mrs. Elis asks tears falling down her cheek.
"No," I say, my head down. I didn't want to make eye contact.
"Peter, who did this?" Aunt May asks.
I couldn't decide if I should tell Mrs. Elis that Willow did it but my thoughts were interrupted by Mrs. Elis "And do you know where Willow is I've been worried sick."
"Willow did this," I say closing my eyes I couldn't control the anger I felt towards Willow but I didn't want Mrs. Elis to know it.
I hear Aunt May gasp and Mrs. Elis start to cry. I look up and Aunt May has her hand on Mrs. Elis's back.
"Peter how about you go take Abby to her room then we'll go home." Aunt May says.
I nod and walk up to Abby's room, put her on her bed, and put a blanket over her then I walk downstairs and to my house.
It has been two days since the Willow incident and 2 days since I've seen Abby. Or for that fact anyone has seen Abby. She's been in her room and her Mom told me she won't let her in and she won't come out. I walk over to Daisy and Delilah's house and knock on the door. I haven't seen them since the Willow incident either and I still was shocked about the whole Daisy Witter thing. I assumed it was just a typo but it was still weird.
"Hey Peter," Delilah answered.
"Have you heard from Abby?" I ask.
She shakes her head. "Why don't you just go over there I'm sure she'll let you in. If not you have full permission to knock down her door."
I nod "how are you and Daisy?" I ask.
"Fine." She shrugs "look Peter we're all really worried about Abby but me and Daisy are kinda dealing with something trying to figure out the Witter thing. And Ida's brother just came back from the dead so do us a solid and go check on her."
I nod. She closes the door and I start walking to Abby's. The truth is I'm just scared of what I might find. I take a deep breath and knock on the door. answers. She doesn't say anything she just lets me in.
"I'm really worried about Abby I haven't seen her she won't leave that room she won't eat she won't do anything." Her mom says "but if you want to try and get her out be my guest." She says walking back into the kitchen.
I walk upstairs and to Abby's room, I knock on the door. No response I sigh. I twist the doorknob of course it's locked.
"Abby please let me in we're all worried about you," I beg.
No response. I began to walk away but then I see a key slide out from the bottom of the door. I put it in the key slot of the door and unlock the door. I open the door and see Abby sitting there on the floor. She looks really pale and she bags under her eyes which are also really puffy. Her hair is a mess and falling out of the bun it was in two days ago and she's still wearing the same "blood" stained Star Wars jacket. Her bed looks the exact same thought as when I put her in it two nights ago the only difference is the blanket is thrown to the side.
"Come on Abby you have to get up and eat something or do something. Your friends are worried about you. Your mom is worried about you. I'm worried about you. School starts tomorrow and you have to go but you can't go looking like this." I say walking over to her.
She shakes her head. She blinks and I notice that she almost falls asleep.
"Abby, have you gotten any sleep in the past two days?" I ask.
She shakes her head. Then I sit down next to her.
"Abby it's ok no one can hurt you not not Willow.." I began but at the mention of Willows name Abby starts bawling. Her breathing starts to get fast and shallow. I feel her heart start racing. And she shuts her eyes really tight. "Abby are you ok?" I ask.
She shakes her head. Her face gets even paler than before and her eyes tighten even more. Then she gets up and runs into her closet and closes the door. I hear her breathing it's really fast and shallow. I get up and walk to the closet and find Abby in a tight ball hiding behind a suitcase.
"Abby it's ok. Let's just go downstairs and I don't know I'll make you some Mac 'n cheese or something." I say, extended my hand. She takes it her breathing beginning to slow down and go back to normal. As we start to walk out the door we hear her window open. An arm reaches over grasping the edge of the window. Daisy's face pops up as she pulls herself through the window.
"Abby, our master plan that we made up when we were 6 never would have worked." She says as she dusted herself off. She looks up and sees us standing there. "Peter, you said she wouldn't let you in! Do you know how hard it was to get Delilah to let me come here? I mean I guess I'll go back but I am so taking the front door. You good chica?" Abby nods.
We sit down on the couch and she curls up against me in a ball. Her mom makes us some Mac 'n cheese. Abby eats hers really fast in fact I'm surprised she didn't choke on it. Then after she finished it she fell asleep on me. She's so peaceful I don't want to get up but I have to because I have to get home and get ready for school tomorrow. I kissed her head and left while she was still asleep. I walk home and go to bed.
