A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 4: Bridging the gap [part 6]
Renji walked up to Rukia's cell, where she was confined in their barracks, as soon as the 4th division clean up personnel exited.
"Nah! Don't worry so much! I am sure Kuchiki taicho will do something to lighten your punishment" Renji comforted Rukia who looked glum, seating on her chair like a proper noble lady.
Trying to cheer her up, like he used to, back when they were of the same societal status: street rats.
Silence met his comical enthusiasm, as Rukia just elegantly turned her head towards him for a little bit.
"He will not do anything" Rukia stated matter of factly, with a downward tone.
At this, Renji was concerned.
Why would her brother, not save her? Aren't they family? Isn't that what brothers do? Protect one's sister.
"That man" Rukia painfully stated.
Renji lent all ears. Curious.
"Never even looked at me. Even once" she declared.
At that confession, Renji was mortified.
What type of Life, had she been living as a Kuchiki princess?
.
Oh, how wrong she was.
To be continued….
